Reviewed Sep 15, 2026What a cute hotel! Beautifully cared for and the room was so quaint and adorable. We loved the handmade soap and shampoo, it was a lovely touch! Good hot showers and plenty of cooking equipment in the communal kitchen. Self check-in is also fantastic!
Nothing, I loved our stay and I wish we could have stayed another night.

Much cheaper accommodation than staying in Queenstown and a beautiful scenic drive in the morning. Owner was very nice and helpful. Premises were very clean, and a big kitchen was available to guests to prepare meals if desired.
Bed was small and mattress a bit too soft, but ok for 1 night.

The kitchen is quite large and has everything you need — we made our own dinner there. The host was friendly. The location is convenient, with a supermarket right across the street. A nice experience.

La chambre familiale est en réalité l'ancien restaurant de l'hôtel au RDC. Aucune isolation phonique avec le salon, il y a même un jour de presque 1 cm entre les anciennes porte battantes condamnées aujourd'hui. N essayez pas de faire le noir dans la chambre, les nombreuses fenêtres aux rideaux trop petits non occultants ne vous le permettront pas. Vous aurez accès à toutes les conversations du salon et tous les bruit de cuisine ici... Ah oui, la première salle de bain et à l'étage , donc promenez vous au milieu du salon, montez un grand escalier et tournez à gauche vous y serez ... Avec des enfants c est quand même pas pratique pour u e chambre familiale . Bref ça devrait redevenir un restaurant /salon ou être vraiment transformé / rénové /. isolé comme une vraie chambre ! Là on dirait qu on hésite entre les deux 😔

Hab innerhalb von ein paar Minuten eine Antwort erhalten. Konnte das Fahrrad sicher unterstellen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die Lage war gut, mitten im Ort.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026原本對於沒有員工、共用廁所的住宿點不抱太高期望，照片上也顯得有點舊舊的感覺。入住後才發現這是一間整理非常清潔且有序的旅店，老闆對於這間有歷史的建築物維持得很好，有懷舊英倫的氛圍。雖然我們是入住有附廁所浴室的房間，但我有去觀察共用浴室的環境也很整齊，下次如果有再過來可以試試看共用的住宿方式。晚上可以看到滿天的星星，附近的早餐咖啡超好吃，是個幽靜的小鎮。

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026The proper is unstaffed which caused an issue. There was no codes sent to get into the property, we had to get one, luckily we had managed to get our phones working. The place was clean but definitely rates only one star. We booked for two nights but only stayed for one.

在小镇中心，只是这个小镇有点荒凉了，当然这不是酒店的问题。

Our sheets and beds smelt like sweat and dirt. Like someone had been laying on our bed aftet a long work day. our lock box didnt have our key in it and some other people staying there that just finishef work and arrived at the hotel, had our key and said there was a mix up with the rooms. And gave us our key. We stayed in room 8 which had a tv.. also we seen a cleaner cleaning the next morning so my best bet would be that the people staying there always stayed there they knew the code to our lock box and watched tv after finishing work on our beds that we stayed in after work befote retyring to there rooms.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026We don’t usually book a shared accommodation however, we booked late and it was lol that was available. It was a neat historical building and well maintained for being a shared accommodation. The bathroom in the one room was appreciated.
It would have been nice for both rooms we booked to have a sink. It would be a good idea to post what the loud sirens mean when they go off in town (volunteer fire department system) as we had to look it up not knowing if there was something we were meant to do when they went off.

Reviewed Jan 21, 2026Wygodna samoobsługa. Bardziej w wersji Hostelu, bo mamy kilka ubikacji, prysznicy na piętrze. Na dole miły ogólnodostępny salon oraz przestronna kuchnia z osprzętem. Są również czasem jakieś ogólnodostępne produkty do wykorzystania po innych gościach. Polecamy!

Kitchen facilities, for the number of people that can stay, one small fridge that was working when we arrived, one sink, one stove, awkward layout for multiple people. An exit from the kitchen to the carpark would be much easier than bringing everything around to the front door.

어른들들 께서 공용샤워실과 공용화장실은 불편해 하셨습니다. 방에 비치되어 있는 물품은 먼지가 좀 있었습니다.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026Carpeted floors are very old and smelly. Rooms are stinking. Very cold no aircon or heating or even a fan. Toilets are not clean and no toilet paper in the toilets.
Replace the carpets , install aircon and heaters, keep toilets clean with more toilet paper etc. and keep the main door lock easy to operate. My family member cut short the holiday and returned to Sydney the same night after visiting this hotel.

Some things missing from kitchen and the fridge could be larger for the amount of people staying there.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025Gemütlich eingerichtetes Hotel im shabby look. Sowohl Zimmer, als auch Gemeinschaftsräume waren sauber. Man bekommt Handtücher und kleine Seifen auch Tee und Wasserkocher waren vorhanden. Moderner TV.
Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber der shabby look macht das in Ordnung. Die Matratze war etwas hart und das Stockbett hatte oben kein Rausfall-Schutz. Für eine Nacht war es in Ordnung.

Une suggestion : mettre une tablette et un miroir dans chaque douche afin de pouvoir poser ses affaires de toilette et se "pomponner" avant de sortir.
