The deluxe queen rooms are having the best views and are quieter compared to the rooms facing the road. Lot of plug points available for charging.

As the tiles are not non-skid type, the bathroom floor is very slippery after use. The corner of the bed is a 90-degree angle sharp edge and can hurt the shin bone if you miss seeing the corner during the night. No night lamp is in the room. No pure vegetarian kitchen.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at The 14 Gables. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that made our trip truly memorable. Property is a bit far from Mall Road, so commuting takes some time. However, the peaceful location and stunning surroundings more than make up for it, especially if you're looking to escape the crowds and enjoy nature.

Had a great stay at The 14 Gables. The room was comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade. The view from the property was absolutely spectacular and one of the highlights of our stay. The staff provided exceptional service throughout and were always helpful and courteous.

The breakfast buffet was decent, though it could have offered a bit more variety. Similarly, the food menu could benefit from having more vegetarian options.

Location is really great. Away from hustle and bustle of manali crowd. Just next to a small waterfall/spring. Pet friendly hotel, they take care of the pet food also. Our baby pet, Bella had a lot of fun here.. Very comfortable rooms with great mattress. View from the room was extraordinary. Own parking space too if you drive from delhi or some other state. Overall a great experience.

I had an amazing stay at The 14 Gables Hotel with my family—my parents, my wife and our pet dog Thor. The services were really good and everything felt very comfortable. The rooms are super spacious with an amazing view, which made our stay even better. The staff is really really nice and their hospitality is just top-notch. If you’re someone who wants to avoid bheed-bhaad and just relax peacefully, this is the perfect place to stay. The property is beautiful and the hotel owners are very sweet and make you feel at home. Also, their super cute Chow Chow dog Sultan is definitely one of the highlights of the property 😄

This property gives a serene views of mountains and is located little far from the main city which is this place USP as you’ll find peace and nature. The hosts are very polite and humble. Rooms are cozy, clean and spacious.

Everything was comfortable and well managed, but what truly stood out was the staff going the extra mile—they arranged both a rental bike and a cab right at my doorstep, and that too at the best possible rates. First ever hotel which was shown in booking.com and was actually more better in real. They have friendly pets where kids can be entertained. Bornfire service and the environment and view. I can honestly say this was the best stay in manali I have ever had. The location in Shanag is perfect because it is peaceful but still close to the main attractions. First, the room: waking up here is a dream. If you are looking for hotels in manali with best view, this is absolutely it. The mountains look like a painting right outside your window. Second, the food: I am not usually a breakfast person, but the food here changed my mind! I ended up eating a full breakfast because the Chef cooks with such magic. The dinner was just as amazing. The service is warm and quick. Finally, a huge thank you to Anant, the owner. He is incredibly supportive and helpful. He treats guests like family, not just customers. I stayed at 14 Gables Manali during my solo trip and honestly had a wonderful time. The place has such a calm, homely vibe - surrounded by mountains and greenery, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. My room was super clean, comfortable, and nicely done up. As an NRI traveling alone, I really appreciated how friendly and helpful everyone was. The staff made me feel safe and well looked after. The food was great too - simple, fresh, and tasty. It’s close enough to the main town to get around easily, but still peaceful and quiet. The first thing I loved about this place is the beautiful location, in a quiet peaceful small village, next to an apple orchard from here one can see the panoramic landscape of the entire valley and Rohtang pass also. Warm and welcoming hosts, delicious food, a vibrant common area. Perfect for all sorts of travelers.

You need to have car to go to city. Rest nothing.

Wonderful room and location. A 4 km walk takes you to Old Manali through a pristine valley with chirping birds and aroma of vegetation. A 3 km walk takes you to Majhachh temple with wonderful view. A 2 km walk takes you to Domino's Pizza across the Beas and Nehru Kund. They kept the promise of electric kettle and refilled the coffee. They also shared an umbrella for free which was useful.

Too greedy. I asked for car services to Rohtang pass and Atal tunnel for which they quoted Rs 6000 while I made the trip with a driver I met for the 1st time in Rs 3500. Though free breakfast was promised and I was told they have buffet in the morning, they didn't serve buffet on 31st June. That is fine if the number of people are less, but items like fruit juice should have been there given you are charging Rs 4000+ per night. One night I had dinner and they charged Rs 30 for handmade roti (without butter) and Rs 100 for each cup of milk. While entry, they took the id cards, photocopied and said they will fill the details later. While check out, they came to the room and took the luggage. I asked the boy to stop at the counter, but he pretended not to listen and took the luggage to the car and loaded it, even though I hadn't introduced the driver to him. While I went to check out, I was told they filled the details but I insisted to check. I noted they wrote my father's name instead of mine, which can be a mistake. But they forgot to write the check out date and time, which I filled.

Sab kuch bohot hi clean aur well-organized tha, jo stay ko aur bhi comfortable bana deta hai. Sabse achhi baat, yahan ki hospitality—it’s warm, welcoming, and super attentive. Staff har chhoti chhoti cheez ka dhyaan rakhta hai, jo stay ko aur bhi special bana deta hai. Ekdum home-like feel aati hai! Sab mast hai no problem at all

It was very clean, they had good food to order all the time for all meals. It had a great view as well. They provided a heater complimentary, so we were warm the entire time.

The location is slightly far from the main area, nothing is close by. You will definitely need a means of transport, otherwise you will end up spending a lot on cabs to and forth to main places in Manali.

Best choice made in Himachal. I have to appreciate their service, staff, hospitality, cleanliness, amenities, food etc. Everything was perfect with the mountains in the backdrop and a relaxing vacation. Loved their corner room and I didn't get tired of appreciating the mountain view from the bed itself. Sipping hot coffee along with yummy sandwiches on the balcony was my best memory there. Highly recommended.

The view is incredible and the area is peaceful. If you are looking for an escape from the busy city of Manali then this is a great stay. It is a bit far to walk to the town but the area is worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful.

On our first night we had about 10 power outages which included all lights and the heater, while showering, while eating and while trying to sleep. The heater in the room was noisy and hard to sleep. The hot water lasts for a few minutes - if you're planning to wash your hair, be prepared for a cold shower. Also no floor mat provided in bathroom which was wet on the floor after showering. The dog in reception will try to attack you. The constant Whatsapp messages were also a bit annoying.

The staff were always available and very helpful. They even arranged our transport from and to Delhi for us. They were able to provide details about nearby hikes also, and were friendly and welcoming. The location is a bit removed from the main town, so it is quiet at night. Stunning views with lots of windows and a nice private balcony. The food was reasonably priced and excellent, with many options to choose from. In fact, the quality and variety were good enough that we did not trek into town for dinner at all, instead happily eating in the comfort of our room after long days hiking. And, at the end of our stay, we received fresh apples from the orchard, which were crunchy, juicy, and delicious!

The mattress unfortunately was worn out (more on one side than the other), and so was not comfortable. It could do with replacing. The shower flashed cold very frequently, seemingly when others in the hotel were using water. Breakfast started at 8:30--for anyone looking for an early start, this could be a little late.

The hotel itself is really nice, mixing village vibes with modern comforts. My room was spotlessly clean and looked great. The bed was so comfy—I slept like a baby after a long journey. BONUS - I was given a FREE upgrade to their Corner Room as well. But what really stood out was the service. The staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They gave me great tips on where to go, how to explore and eat nearby, and were always there if I needed help. Breakfast was another highlight. It was delicious and had lots of choices. The living area was nice and cozy, perfect for starting the day right. The hotel's location is perfect too. It's in a quiet area but close enough to all the main sights. All rooms have uninterrupted mountain view and hotel is surrounded by beautiful apple orchards. Whether you're here for work or fun, The 14 Gables is a great place to stay.
