I had a great stay at Butterfly in Chitwan. The location is excellent, very close to the national park and within easy reach of restaurants and local attractions. The owner is extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything you need. One of the things I appreciated most was the range of services available, including laundry facilities and assistance with organizing tours and activities. The breakfast, although simple, was tasty and included in the room price, which was a nice bonus. The property also has a wonderful garden where you can relax, read a book, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere after a day of exploring. Overall, Butterfly offers great value for money, a warm atmosphere, and a convenient location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chitwan.

Just by the side of the main road. 5 minutes walk to the riverside. Sunil was very smart guy who picked up from the bus stop and arranged tuk-tuk to drop us as well and sur[riding, it was free!!! He arranged Jeep safari for us which was very much enjoyable.

Few room are having tin-shade roof, so was very hot and the AC could not make the room cool enough. when we reported that, he quickly changed the room which was fine.

Small cottages in a nice green garden, sounds of many birds every morning. Professional manager, able to arrange activities with a well experienced and communicative guide. Helpful to solve all other small details to make the stay and jungle experience as best as it could be.

Recomiendo 100% Fui habiendo reservado para una noche y al final me quedé 3. Las habitaciones y los baños son muy espaciosos, el entorno es muy bonito y tranquilo, con un jardín que huele genial y el sonido de los pájaros. El desayuno está muy bueno. Todo el personal del hotel muy amable, vinieron a recogerme a la estación de bus, me prestaron una mochila para una excursión. Te ayudan con lo que necesites. Todo genial!

Hotel’s staff is extremly nice, they organized the safari for us for a better price than online. I recommend their safari guides, were excellent. Also the property of hotel is so cute and rooms were great!

Great people, great spacious/peaceful stay. I highly recommend you book your activities through this hotel, my 2 tour guides were brilliant very knowledgeable and even seen a tiger. Good restaurant aswell. They also pick you up and drop you off from hotel.

Exzellent they offer two or three night multi-day hiking in the NP. Which other accom don't offer. They were very kind and helpful- going above expectations eg cooking breakfast earlier and dropping me off at the bus stop. Also in an excellent location down the road there are 2 orphaned rhinos with the army. Very close to the accom and easy to spot. The room is what you expect good value for price.

Everything was perfect. They picked me up at the station and the free breakfast was amazing

It was an amazing experience staying here. We even extended for 1 more night. The staff is really kind and helpful. They even offered me hot water as i was having cold. Would 100% recommend to stay here

Next door kept lighting fires,so there were times when the garden was engulfed in smoke. So no sitting outside! Had to close all windows and doors, i have stayed at the hotel before, same problem

Freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzer, nette crew, gutes Frühstück, gutes Essen, Buchungen Bus möglich + kostenloser Transport zum Busbahnhof, 5 Minuten zum Fluss. Habe walking safari gebucht, guides sehr nett und haben gut über Flora und Fauna informiert, aber auch über das Leben in Nepal. Viele Tiere gesehen. Nachmittag Jeep Safari, war auch sehr gut.

厨师做饭非常好吃！尤其是孜然土豆和一个有茄子的菜！位置也非常好，店主帮我们找的向导也是超暖心，带我们追犀牛找鳄鱼非常和善。

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen & am Busbahnhof überraschend abgeholt. Das Hotel liegt ruhig, aber zentral. Im Garten gibt es schöne Hängematten & Sitzgelegenheiten zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück ist Basic (Toast, Ei, Kartoffeln, Marmelade) - aber lecker. Das Essen im Restaurant ist super lecker & vielleicht das beste, das wir bisher in Nepal gegessen haben (insb Paneer Curry). Wasser konnten wir kostenlos auffüllen. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet & das Bett ist super bequem! Auch das WLAN hat immer einwandfrei funktioniert. Wir haben über die Unterkunft eine schöne Walking Safari gebucht - war alles super organisiert. Generell war das Personal super freundlich & hilfsbereit und stand jederzeit zum Ansprechen zur Verfügung.

Das Rohr am Waschbecken war nicht dicht, daher war das Bad dauerhaft etwas nass - hat uns aber nicht gestört.

The place is excellent! The location is great — close to the center but still a bit away from the main street. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. The garden is beautiful and green, and there are hammocks to relax in. The room is comfortable, and the breakfast is tasty. The price is also very affordable. I really enjoyed my stay here! (Just a note: the Wi-Fi isn’t very strong. It’s okay for basic use, but if you need a stable connection for work, it might be a bit tricky.)

What a lovely place to stay!! Sunil, the host, is a delight, as are all the staff here. The value for money is perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer. Sunil helps you with EVERYTHING you need. The food prices are very reasonable. A wonderful place to recharge.

Erg vriendelijk personeel. De hostel eigenaren zijn tourguides waar je dus ook de verschillende tours bij kunt boeken.

De kamer was vrij onhygiënisch. Dit heeft een groot deel te maken met dat het erg vochtig was in de tijd dat wij hier waren. Dit betekende dat alles inclusief het bed erg vochtig was.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and I couldn't be happier with their service. There is also a restaurant which is pretty nice and fairly priced, I found myself dining there a lot as many restaurants seem to have a similar menu except more expensive. The shower was good with hot water and the bed was comfortable. The tours they offer are also very reasonably priced.

The room could do with a bit of TLC but it's to be expected for a budget place.

We really fell in love with this place. The calmth of the garden and the lovely patio gave us the time to rest completely. As well did we do a jungle tour with them and we had an amazing day. We saw reinos, tigers, crocodiles. The guides made sure to bring us to the good spots and they also provided food, snacks and some juice for us. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was every morning on its best.

Well, the garden infront of our rooms were fabulous. Not only that, even we are able to see the different species of bird in our garden. Such a good place if you love to be more connected with nature.

They do not provide a tea with their breakfast and. They do not provide slippers for the guests and moreover if they include such extra activities like cycling then it will be even more great vacation.

Great price, location and service. Food was great at a fair price and the room was amazing. They even offer to pickup and drop off from the bus for free! Definitely the best place to stay in Sauraha!!

They picked us up by car from the bus terminal and took us to the hotel at no additional cost. The place is quiet, in an excellent location, with green areas and a pleasant place to relax. The room is simple, has a fan, a bathroom, and a nice balcony. We arranged tours with them and it went very well. They are more affordable than other places and they explain the different options depending on your budget. The restaurant serves delicious traditional food at a good price. Breakfast is included and is delicious. They also helped us purchase a one-way bus ticket and dropped us off at the terminal. Highly recommended.

Cheap but great value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff, pick up and drop off at bus station. Helpful to organise safari tours etc. the tour guide I had, Sanjog, was excellent and very knowledgable. I would highly recommend doing a walking tour with him (if you’re fit and able) rather than the jeep safari. Highly recommend the hotel for the time with him alone. Food at the hotel was very good too, and worth the wait to cook. They don’t accept Mastercard but do accept visa and cash payment.

i like this place. you can sit in front of your room and watching birds. the stuff is very nice. i stayed 5 nights because its so quiet and peaceful. the location is also realy good.

Green oasis in the very heart of Chitwan national park. Cozy rooms with separate terraces, wonderful staff and services provided. They will take you from the bus station, explain everything and offer different types of jungle tours in a good price. We were very happy about all guides and services we got during two days of staying here. Hotel provides breakfast, but you can also order lunch or dinner. I even got a birthday surprise, time spent here was really special!

Not a luxury hotel, but great value for money. Nice and very friendly staff. The restaurant inside the hotel has very good food and they can organize all types of safaris, buy tickets for the buses to other cities or rent bikes. But the part we liked most was the garden in front of the room, which allowed us to wake up in the morning listening to all kinds of birds, despite being very close to the center of the village and the headquarter of the natural park. Very close, just walking 5 minutes, you can also see the place where the goverment have some elephants and one night we even saw a big wild rhino passing very close to the hotel street.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pretty good experience overall. The location is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful nature, which really made the stay pleasant and peaceful. The environment was definitely one of the highlights of my visit.

The prices were much higher than I expected, which could be a drawback for anyone on a budget. Despite the high meal prices, the hotel itself offers a great atmosphere and a prime location. Nice hostel with garden right on boundary of National Park. They sometimes have wild rhinos eating the grass in the garden or flowers in the nearby fields. I didnt get up early enough and missed one. They return to the Park before 7am. Lovely helpful staff will help organise activities like canoe trip and jeep safari (both awesome).

The room wasnt properly cleaned and I had to ask for toilet paper.

Lovely place, beautiful garden, great hospitality

The hotel is located on the quiet street with beautiful outdoors area which feels like the nature sanctuary. It’s a budget accommodation, but clean with lovely and helpful team/family running it. The reception team is friendly and professional. Knowledgeable about the local area and able to organise day or multiple days tours into the national park. We decided to book 4 days hiking trek around the jungle and stay with the local communities. It was the best decision. Our guides Sanjok and Sanjo were really easy to be around, helpful, knowledgeable about the fauna and flora and knew their way around the park without hesitation. They showed us everything what this beautiful place has to offer while being respectful to the nature and the wildlife. The main thing for me was that I felt safe and I knew that they would do everything to bring us back in one peace. 😅 Thank you for 4 wonderful days that we will never forget.

The accomodation could use a renovation. Sometimes we had some trouble with water supply and leakages in the bathroom.

Amazing quiet location, but the best part was the staff. They did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible; first of all they picked us up from the bus station, gave a free room upgrade, took care of all our tours. We also really loved the food in the hotel, especially pancakes and paneer curry. The guide that we got was very professional and knowledgeable.

The staff are exceptional, so helpful in dropping us off to town, taking us to the doctors, picking us up from the bus station and organising our safari. They were very understanding and accomodating to our changing schedule. They also came and got us when a rhino was passing by on the street. On site there is great restaurant with cheap food prices and room service. Hot showers and mosquito nets in the room. Would highly recommend and definitely would stay here again.

The price of the budget room is attractively cheap. They have a big garden in front of the clean rooms. It feels nice to be walking around the green garden in the morning and evening. The rooms are spotless, floors were of tiles. The owner was good and the boy who served us was very polite, sweet and helpful. He prepped breakfast whenever we wanted and was available to serve our needs whenever we needed. It was a beautiful experience. They also do jungle safari if you want.

The only complaint would be the noisy fan. It was so hot because of the tin roof in this summer time and we needed to operate the fan and that fan made a lot of noise. They do have an air-conditioned room though for an extra price.

There is nothing like that. In terms of immigration, everything is fine.

The garden was so beautiful! The stuff and the owner is very friendly and helpful (they offered a good and cheap tour). You can sit on your own terrace with comfortable chairs. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. They offer food, it’s tasty and cheap.

The walls have some spots from the moisture. One room has a noisy fan (should be repaired), but we could change the rooms without a problem. Mosquitos (because of the nice garden, only be aware), but they have mosquito nets.

Staff. As long as they smell money on you, they're nice. Beware of them, they are just trying to rip you off and will offer services for ridiculous money. We could not choose the food for breakfast. We got toast with a little jam, butter and an egg. It wasn't much and we were hungry.

Very friendly and polite

This is one of the best places we stayed at in a month in Nepal. The owner is really really nice and helpful, with booking things, with pick up and drop offs, with advice even at the last minute. The prices are very good too! The rooms are very comfortable and the garden they have is full of flowers and butterflies and birds! And the locations is very convenient for the national park and even just if you want to walk to the riverfront and watch for crocodiles and other wildlife at sunset
