Liked the location, it was quiet sitting around the pool and having breakfast outdoor. Easy walk to Main Street where lots of cafes and restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool area was so peaceful with lots of shade from the lovely garden. We had a second storey Seaview room and it was lovely sitting out on the balcony. The steps up to the room might be a challenge for anyone not great on their feet but there is a hand rail

The place was truly a paradise. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They were even waiting for us with a surprise, as it was my partner’s birthday. They welcomed us so warmly and came to our room with a delicious pie, singing “Happy Birthday” to my partner. It was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. The place itself was absolutely beautiful, clean, peaceful, and pleasant — the perfect place to completely disconnect and relax. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay so special!

Le bruit et musique des bars aux alentours le soir, bruit d'un moteur qui tourne dans la nuit . Le service de location du scooter que nous attendons malgré une réservation anticipée , avec des casques plus qu'usés et pas d'essence dans le réservoir !!! Pour le prix de la nuit nous nous attendions à un service plus soigné.Le discours sur le refus d'accueillir des enfants pour la sécurité à cause de la piscine nous a fait rire quand on a vu l'état du scooter et des casques , la sécurité ici ne comptait pas !😊

Great location, in the center but somehow a bit away from the rush of people. Room was spacious! Fell in love with the bathroom, and everything was on point. The staff was super helpful, attentive, and went the extra mile throughout the whole stay! Much recommended and great value for the price!

We had a great time in the luxury rooms with ocean view. It was totally comfortable and peaceful. Breakfast was also amazing. The massages we got were so good that we booked again. They also let us use the facilities until 10 pm after checkout

We absolutely loved our stay at ROH Villas. The staff were so lovely, friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our time there. The room was a great size and finished to a really high standard. The pool and grounds are absolutely lush and made the whole place feel so relaxing. It was also super easy to hire a scooter through them, with heaps of options and really good prices. We’re already looking forward to coming back and checking out the new restaurant! Would definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is beautiful and in a quiet area with access to its own stunning private beach (Impossible beach). The only sounds I could hear in the night were the sound of the waves and the animals 🥹 Staff really do a great job at making you feel comfortable and taken care of! Also the breakfast is really good. It’s also located really close to most of the hottest spot in town. Just 7 mins grab ride to Padang Padang beach Sad I was there for only 2 days but I’ll be back for sure.

We've been here to spend 9 days in Uluwatu and go surfing at different spots in the area. So, if you like to enjoy a calm and relaxing atmosphere after your day, this cute little hotel is the right place. It's located a bit off the busy main street, but by scooter you're everywhere in a short period of time. The breakfast was healthy and delish! You could choose between three options, many juices and coffee or tea. We got an upstairs room and the view was crazy! Loved it. The staff was always friendly and helpful. You could use the backyard exit to Impossibles Beach for a shortcut! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely come back.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön, alles sehr gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir verbrachten dort die letzten zwei Nächte wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen.

Der Strand, der vom Hotel zu erreichen ist, ist nicht besonders sauber.

Super hotel, knus en gezellig. Mooi klein hotel omringd met een prachtige groene tuin en zwembad. Goed ontbijt en mooie kamers met een leuke buitenbadkamer. Locatie ook op loopafstand van de hoofdstraat. En met de scooter (via het hotel) kan je makkelijk alle leuke stranden bezoeken.

Fantastic stay here and couldn’t fault it. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the room was clean and had everything we needed, breakfast included was delicious.

Quite noisy at night

This hidden gem is located in the heart of Uluwatu while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of healthy options to choose from. They even have gluten free bread! There’s a lovely pool where you can unwind during the day, and the hotel also offers a variety of optional activities. I took a surfing lesson, and it was so much fun! What really makes this hotel special is the exceptional service. The staff genuinely make you feel welcome—they remember your name and even create a WhatsApp group so you can easily reach out if you need anything during your stay. Although the hotel’s kitchen closes after breakfast, there’s a fantastic restaurant right next door with a wide selection of food and drinks. You can order anytime, and they’ll deliver your meal directly to the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. A special thank you to Ayu at reception. She was warm, attentive, and truly made my stay memorable. Her hospitality was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Uluwatu. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent staff, location was amazing too, short walk to the busy streets but nice and quiet where the hotel was. My room was cosy, clean and the bed was super comfortable. Vincent and the rest of the staff were amazing.

Als we dan toch iets moeten aanmerken, dan zijn de ligzetels aan het zwembad misschien wel eens aan vervanging toe.

É um bom hotel, mas esperava mais pelo preço dele em comparação com outros hotéis que fiquei em Bali. O café da manhã é bom, mas dentro do padrão da Indonésia (você escolhe um prato apenas). A piscina é muito boa.

Não é realmente perto da praia, sendo necessário descer muitas escadas até chegar.

Walk to the beach was down some very steep steps - be prepared for the walk back up. Had to get a gogek everywhere if you wanted to get out and about to see stuff - no onsite restaurant except the banana lounge next door which is great, but I wanted to see some views too. A wonderful team who looked after us, always going the extra mile to help. Use of whatsapp group with the team for your own booking was a great help and meant help on hand very quickly for anything needed. Rooms cleaned to high standard. Peaceful and modern hotel, comfortable bed, lovely pool area.

Very small recommendation to have more variety in breakfast menu or be able to order 3courses. Would be nice to have juice and fresh fruit with each option.

Perfect 1 week stay at Incense. The people are so friendly and willing to help you with anything. It’s possible to contact them 24/7. The room was gorgeous. Bathroom outside was a nice touch. We were asked every day at what time they could clean the room, so we could go to the beach and come back to a spotless room. The breakfast was amazing. The pool was also amazing with comfortable beds. Location 10/10 since it’s close to the busier streets of Uluwatu but still the property was quiet and relaxed. We would definitely come back to Incense if we return to Bali!!

Gorgeous place to stay. Lovely and helpful staff, and very nice and simple room. Pool area had a great combination of shade and sun so it was fit for everyone. Breakfast was always yum and started 7:30am. There’s a steep staircase walkway down to Impossible Beach, which is very small and not great for high tide but nonetheless a cool place to explore. Property is 10 min walk out of the closest main strip with restaurants but we enjoyed being out of the way.

Bathroom was outdoors which we loved but some guests may not be a fan, especially in rainy season

Really nice boutique hotel. We stayed in one of the room that was not facing the pool and got a very private atmosphere. We had breakfast every day in our porch and it was amazing. Usually we had the pool for ourselves in the afternoons and we saw a wild monkey coming for the pool water.

There was another hotel complex right next door, and the service area faced the pool, so at times there was noise from trucks or when they took out the rubbish bins, which disturbed the peace and quiet of the pool.

Las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas. Las cabañitas de las habitaciones son muy acogedoras y con mucho encanto. La zona de la piscina es preciosa y el desayuno, además de variado, estaba muy rico.

Como punto a tener en cuenta, hay presencia de monos en la zona del hotel, algo bastante habitual en Uluwatu. En mi caso no me encontré con ninguno durante la estancia, pero sí generaba cierta inquietud al moverse por el entorno.

We spent the last two days of our holiday at Incense Impossible, and it was the perfect way to wind down after a full two weeks of activities across the island. It was beautiful, quiet, exceptionally clean, cool, and exactly what we needed to soak up the last of our vacation. The staff communication was exceptional - they immediately connected with us via WhatsApp and provided a list of relevant information that was extremely helpful for the short time we were there. And the massage they arranged was quite honestly the best one I had the entire time we were in Bali (on a semi-secluded outdoor table nonetheless!). The Banana Lounge was a few steps away just next door and had a lovely restaurant and bar overlooking their pool - close enough for us to easily enjoy a beer, cocktail, or a small bite. There was a small beach (Impossible Beach) a 5 min walk down the stairs that's mainly used by surfers. There were never more than two other couples there at any point during our visit and there was a small cantina selling sodas and beer as well that you could enjoy under the shade of an Indian Beech Tree.

I wish there were villa robes available. It would have helped while disrobing for my massage.

Perfect accommodation in Uluwatu! A place where you can truly relax and unwind! The entire atmosphere and beautiful tropical plants give you a real Balinese feeling. The pool is also wonderfully peaceful, making it the perfect place to completely relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us with all our questions. The breakfast offered three different menu options, and everything was fresh and delicious. The room was amazing, especially the fantastic outdoor shower.

Schönes Design, tolle Zimmer, sauberer Pool. Es war insgesamt sehr ruhig dort, das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Frühstück war leider nicht so gut. Wenig Auswahl, die Smoothiebowl war wässrig und nicht kalt. In der Nähe gibt es aber gute & günstige Alternativen, sodass wir die anderen Tage auswärts gefrühstückt haben.

Hotel très bien situé .Possibilité d'aller aux différentes plages si on aime marcher ,au sinon en louant un scooter ou autre.Petite plage en contrebas (impossible beach) à 5 min ,très jolie balade ou l'on peut même rencontrer des singes qui s'invitent parfois dans l'hôtel. L'accueil est top , le personnel d'une très grande gentillesse et qui fait preuve de discrétion. Le cadre est magnifique est très bien entretenu ,la chambre est confortable et très bien décorée ,avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine a débordement est très agréable .L'environnement est calme et le réveil au chant des oiseaux est appréciable. En ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner ,beaucoup de choix et très bon .avec une vue mer . Nous avons pris un massage en duo ,petit coin intime réservé dans le jardin ,cela a été la cerise sur le gâteau .parfait ! Rien à redire !

Juste un petit bémol ,l'hôtel est en partenariat avec un restaurant voisin, très bien avec piscine mais nous avons trouvé qu'ils exagéraient un peu sur les prix et que l'on payaient le cadre. A 10 min à pieds en passant par l'arrière de l'hôtel (porte jardin),il y a un petit marché couvert sympa et vous y trouverez d'autres resto ,notamment un resto tenu par un chef français LE CEED qui est très bon .

The rooms were tidy and clean. Breakfast were good, you can choose from 3 options: eggs, granola or pancakes, all three were really tasty, in addition you get a bowl of fruit and coffee. The bathroom outdoors at first was scary due to monkeys, but we were never visited by them even though we stayed for 7 days. The receptionists are very friendly (of course that happens all over Bali, locals here are just happiness and peacefulness entities). You can order surf lessons at the counter with an arranged pick up - so thats what i did most of the days. The hotel also has a short walk to a small beach, which in our case was mostly empty. The beach has a small bar where you can rent sunbeds or buy a fresh young coconut. The restaurant next door (i think it was called Banana) is a bit more expensive than other Bali, but the food and the atmosphere is great there.

The location felt like a paradise down a street away from the busy life of Uluwatu. The breeze, the pool and lush grounds was the perfect escape for us.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the pool area was great and the breakfast included was good too. The staff were very friendly & attentive, and a huge bonus being able to order food from banana lounge across the road to be delivered to the pool.
