Friendly Very nice take away for breakfast very early in the morning!!! Convenient to have a restaurant on the property!

Plugs to put in your chargers too close. Cannot fit chargers. No international telephone line like WhatsApp calls. If one cannot phone per roaming one cannot make contact with them.

The guy @ reception was friendly & helpfull.

The noise throughout the night. Things falling, doors being slammed. The toilet was very uncomfortable, it was fitted high. The linen had a strange smell on them. Breakfast was a disaster, very bad experience. The food was not enough to serve 2 people, 1 sausage , a bit of scrambled eggs & little bit of bacon with beans was left @ the serving station.All of that was also cold. The rest like muffins ,bagels were stale . Staff didn't even bother to fill up , Have to ask for white bread which took long to toast.Electrical appliances for coffee, hot water were switch off. Have to ask for forks & spoons.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms are big

The breakfast was bad 👎 😩 😫 there was no cold milk. The only milk they had was the one use in the expresso. I wish I could buy breakfast at McDonald's or KFC rather There was no hot water for shower. 😮‍💨 we had to shower with cold water.

Although it was only an overnight stay, I enjoyed it, rested well and will definitely consider staying here again if I pass through.

The staff were amazing. They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The garden and pool area is beautiful. Breakfast was tasty every morning. The property was clean and well looked after.

We were a bit disappointed that the family room we were placed in didn't have a kitchenette. The room was definitely big enough for a kitchenette and there could even fit a single bed in instead of a sleeper couch. A family room should have family friendly amenities. The fridge switching off when the room key was removed was also disappointing because it meant our groceries in the fridge were not kept cool.

Friendly and kind staff, food was great. Rooms very comfortable with all essentials.

Wi-Fi keeps losing connection which was annoying when conducting meetings.

Both of our rooms were very dirty and a lot of spiders and insects. It was terrible experience. I will give you a 1 star. I stayed there a few times before, but never again.

We stayed for two nights at the hotel. The hotel was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who are efficient and willing to assist. the hotel itself was clean and well maintained. I certainly enjoyed our stay and would book again when visiting Upington. I sincerely thank the team for everything they did to make our stay so wonderful. I would recommend that some rooms have the option of 2 Queen beds if sharing a bed would not be a preferred option. Breakfast was amazing. This was actually a highlight of our stay. We travel with a dog and to find such a great place that is pet friendly was perfect. And again the staff are so great from Guest Services to housekeeping and the dining team as well I can’t say enough good things about the team. They are the best and a big reason why we would book again.

No drinking water in room (apparently not delivered yet). The timing of the coffee machine descaling diring breakfast was inconvenient. It also appeared to be unable to complete the descaling process, so we had to leave before having coffee. I need proper morning coffee.

We stayed at room 19 it rained the last evening we came there was water on our door never cleaned. The bad thing is they put rubbish bin behind room 19,20 the whole smell get to the room. The bathroom door need to be fixed for better sliding. There where no carpets in the room .

Reservation made and paid for before check in my room was given to someone else in the same day Management refused to take any of my calls instead left incompetent staff that has no decision making powers to tend to me. Same staff failed to keep me in the loop

Aircons didn't work with arrival.Shifting from one room to another which was very uncomfortable.A third shifting to another final room was more comfortable.

That everything was prepared, aircon and lights were set and the room was nice and neat.

My stay was great, room was nice and clean...we love the hospitality and team spirit. I will definitly book again.

Schöne Gartenanlage mit Pool. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Frühstück sehr gut, Kaffee perfekt. Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Everything except the spiders

There was 3 spiders in the family room I booked so that for me was not on as my child is only 2.years old and could have been bit by one as she loves to play everywhere and is not very observant When it's a family room keep the windows closed while and spray doom to make sure there are no insects

There are dogs on the property. When I was having my breakfast, on two occasions, a dog wandered through the restaurant seating area grueling and I could see huge saliva droppings. It seems to be something widely accepted, but I do not think it's hygienic.

Comfortable Beds

The room was not neat. The smell of dust was so uncomfortable. There was no warm water for the whole weekend. The breakfast was worse, and coffee with cold milk was mad business. For 2 days in a row, they served expired bread, about +5 days past the BB date. Breakfast took long to be served after an order. The breakfast was overall a disappointment 😞, wouldn't advise for that option as they couldn't even serve a proper Omelet. No clear marked parking, the General Manager banged on our door loudly at midnight for us to remove our car where we parked. No sense of decency.

Very much a travellers inn. The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful.

Super nice! Love the peacefulness! From the Sunday morning we arrived there it was raining the reception guy cleaned our floor immediately. The staff yoh those ladies are next level(i dont know everyones names)but know I appreciate every single effort of you, the breakfast comon guys it was delicious. Everything is fresh. When we extend our stay Carmen helped us quickly. Thanks again.

The grounds were beautiful...peaceful .The staff were so helpful. Nothing was to much for them to do. A special thank you to Wonderful ,the Ass Manager, who accomadated our needs.

My room needed a bit of maintenance. And the room windows opened onto a work area.

That was beautifull great and lekker we enjoy it very much. Next year we will visit Namaqua land again.. Our stay with you was briljant....

The staff was excellent, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Bar is well stocked and the food was nice.

No DSTV channel. They had OpenView channels E-TV channels are not satellite channels as advertised. Bedding had stains on it and too small for the bed! I asked one of the cleaners to replace it and she says to spoke to management about it but nothing gets done about it. The value rating of the family room will be a zero (0).

We had previously stayed in a country hotels Lodge in kuruman, and it was not a good experience, so I was fearing the worst here. However, this one in Upington is MUCH better. Since we had the comparison, we could certainly see that more care is taken when preparing the rooms. The overall feel was clean and comfortable. It was fine for an overnight stop.

Bathroom needs some maintenance, shower was leaking.

That it was dog friendly and that they stayed open for us to make us food after the kitchen was closed

It was a bad experience I have ever had from bookings to the changing rooms. Poor communication, not enough, not accommodative even when the fault is theirs. The disrespect was too laud.

A good place to stop overnight. Rooms were huge and lovely. Food was also very good. Well run and service is great.

The bed was very comfortable and so was the bedfing. Restaurant on site was good. Service staff of restaurant excellent. Bath in room was excellent and very welcome in winter.

Room 15. Annoying humming sound of electrical equipment when leaving the key card in the slot. The door did not feel secure when locked. Broken tiles on the floor. Tap in wash basin loose, needs tightening.

Everything was perfect. You should consider putting microwaves in the room or somewhere where everyone can warm their own food themselves.

Our place of choice travelling Namibia to South Africa and back. Travelling with 2 dogs. Very Pet friendly and beautiful place.

Very nice big rooms. Perfect restaurant and lovely garden for the dogs.
