I found this place through Booking.com and initially booked the hotel for just one day—my wife was with me as well. However, we were so impressed by their hospitality that we extended our stay to three days; they even took us to explore parts of Jaisalmer that remain completely untouched by tourism. Bissa Sahab and his entire staff are doing such a fantastic job that staying at their hotel feels just like a 5-star experience. Although I had booked a room without breakfast, Bissa Sahab treated us to all of Jaisalmer's delicious breakfast specialties at no extra cost. We left with a promise that whenever we visit Jaisalmer in the future, we will stay exclusively at Jasmin Hotel. In fact, they guided us on everything—where to shop, where to eat, and how and where to go sightseeing. My wife and I would highly recommend that everyone stays at Jasmin Hotel at least once. I am attaching photos of the room along with my feedback; their rates are very reasonable.
Jasmin Haveli is a real find - beautifully decked out rooms, a great rooftop space for meals and a lovely courtyard space to sit in as well. The food was seriously delicious and the hotel cook is a delightful man. The owner, Jitendra, is also so welcoming and helpful. We loved Jaisalmer and Jasmin Haveli was part of that.
Loved our stay here walking distance to the fort and all that had to offer. In house food was excellent, staff wonderful, ambience beautiful. Room had everything we needed and was very comfortable, fans and quiet a/c. We felt like part of Jitendra, the owner’s, family. Outstanding walking tour with Raj and wonderful desert Safari with Fatd, not to forget Padam our very polite and safe driver. Very sad to leave!
It is a 15mins walk to fort, no problem for us, but something to be aware of. The upside is that the Gaveli is very quiet
Quiet, clean, great food and excellent staff
Only minor but a good coffee would be great
Very friendly staff, clean, quiet and great food
Nothing
Clean, spacious rooms and great atmosphere. Excellent service—the staff even helped us find local products to take home! Seamlessly organized transport and guides. Special mention to Jitender, who helped us a lot with all our requests.
One bathroom room had a leak. Power was out for a full night and the inverter didn't last. They really need better 24-hour backup. Did not honor the "free airport roundtrip" promised in the booking. After a complaint, they offered us an airport drop off.
food well cooked and delicious
I travelled with my family for new year, we stayed for 1 night on 30th. It's a haveli type of building. Room was good only but I felt it could have been bit more spacious. they do not have parking we have to manage parking elsewhere, food was very tasty, staff were good and even owner was very interactive. Bathroom was okay but taps water floating was thin.
Atmosfera autentica grazie all’edificio in stile haveli e all’arredamento indiano. Bagno di buona dimensione, con doccia ampia e letto comodo. Colazione ricca per un 3 stelle: piatti caldi indiani, frutta fresca, toast, uova strapazzate preparate al momento, cereali e marmellate. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo considerando i servizi offerti.
The owner did a fantastic job with his warm and hospitable approach, ensuring every guest felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for. His attention to detail truly reflected exceptional hospitality and thoughtful treatment throughout.
Nothing
Extrem hellhörig und laut. Der Balkon ist nicht nutzbar. Das Frühstück minimalistisch.
We loved the location -- a 10 minute walk from the old city and bordering the scrub land with goats and goat herders. Quiet and relaxing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Also, the room and public spaces are beautifully decorated and inviting. Loved the reading/napping nook in the room. Also loved that they provide limitless purified water and a refillable water bottle -- no unnecessary plastics. My husband was sick the entire time and the owner was very solicitous to us and helpful. He also recommended an excellent guide, Lalu.
Some people might want to be more in the middle of the commotion. The balcony off the room is not useable and probably shouldn't be advertised as a room with a balcony.
Rien
Beautifully curated and appointed with local arts and textiles. Cleanliness was perfect. In house meals and dining authentic and tasty Rajasthani cooking. Owner/Manager went over and beyond expectations to look after us. We added an extra night as we enjoyed our stay. In house guide and taxi available. On the edge of town and quiet. I would come back to India just to stay here.
Everything was amazing.
Staff/owner behavior and attitudes
Rooms were standard but price was very high.
Wow, I didn’t expect such quality of service! The owner welcomed us even though it was very early in the morning and was really kind and professional. He also helped us arrange an unforgettable private desert trip after we didn’t hear back from the one we had initially planned. Sleeping under the stars and enjoying a delicious meal, loved it! We even saw wild animals. Thank you so much for your hospitality, highly recommended!
Excellent property, excellent people! Loved my stay so so so very much. Plus, as a solo female, I was worried about the safety, but, I felt so safe, it was perfect. This property is really the only reason I'm planning to go back already!
Nothing!
It’s outside of the old center and fort so it’s quieter which is the main reason I chose to stay, but there’s so many more reasons. It’s a beautiful place built as a modern take on a traditional house. The rooms a spacious and had everything I needed, and the food was clean and after a few days there the stomach problems I’d picked up in Delhi where pretty much gone. Jitendra, the owner is great. Super friendly and he helped to arrange a brilliant bespoke Thar desert tour that I thought came in at a very reasonable price. I would 100% stay again if I found myself in Jaisalmer
Leaving! I could happily have stayed longer.
The property is very well maintained and has great ambience. They offered us tea on arrival and also during the checkout which was early in the morning. It is worth mentioning that the tea was great too. We also got a free upgrade to our room. we got scooty on hire from the nearby shop which was very convenient and at reasonable prices. We also saw there family/suite room which is quite spacious and has good vibes
Only problem we faced was due to a scheduled power cut in the area. There is backup of inverter but you cannot use equipments like geyser/AC on inverter backup. However, power was restored before time only.
Everything…. when we arrived at the train Station, the extensive works made the whole area a dusty mess and this extends out into the streets. The approach to the area of Jasmin is the same and we were thinking omg this is going to be tough ( we are well travelled in India ) but … The Jasmin is lovely …the staff waited up until 02:30am for us and showed us straight to beautifully decorated room with the all the lovely lighting set up and the room had been heated perfectly…they didn’t even ask us to check in …..just relax and have a good sleep. In the morning was no different, very relaxed check-in and breakfast was attentive and a perfect choice ( don’t be afraid to go room only and have a la carte breakfast its a good choice and very cheap, our total food bil for three breakfasts and one dinner and one lunch ( for two people ) was £34 The owner is very attentive and proud using family and friends for staff, also recommends a guide for the town heritage walk and he organises desert safari’s ( it’s not usually our thing but we did both and thoroughly enjoyed it. I get the comment someone made re bird droppings upstairs on the terrace but ignore this, it doesn’t spoil anything. If you’re on a budget don’t shy from the basic room, we had that without realising it was his cheapest room and it’s really nice. We looked at the others and all well priced and individual.
No where to sit in the sun but Jetu ( owner ) is looking to make improvements all the time and has great ideas
Rooms are decorated really tastefully. We were upgraded from the rooms we had booked to bigger rooms (newly built) and they were set around a nice seating area. Owner is also very helpful. Whilst the property is rated as a 2 star - in my view it is closer to a 4 star.
Breakfast was a little bit chaotic (we were in a rush but had to wait several minutes for some one to come and take an order and then it took longer than was mentioned for the food to come out) and is one aspect which could have been improved.
Clean Felt at home Decorative Toiletries supplied Very helpful and friendly staff Tasty and reasonable price food offered
Appreciate there are lots of birds in the area but it would be nice if their poo was cleaned up on a daily basis, particularly in the restaurant.
Nicely decorated. Clean. Smells nice at the hotel. Staff are nice. Provided heating for cold nights.
Road to the old town is under renovation so if you want to walk you might be dusty a bit. Otherwise can take toktok
A wonderful family-run hotel. The hotel itself and the rooms are gorgeous. The staff - especially the manager - is amazing and incredibly friendly. They helped us book a walking tour and desert safari in a super uncomplicated way and for a very decent price.
View from the rooms isn't anything to write home about. Food at the restaurant was okay - nothing amazing. The bathrooms are not of the same quality as the rest of the hotel, especially the showers.
Rooms were good. Food was great. And the hotel staff were the best - extremely warm and helpful
There was construction going on in front of the hotel and it was raining. So access to the hotel was not ideal.
Location was perfect
Rooms small and in a small lane. Difficult to access
We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Jasmin Home. Jitu runs the place with obvious pride. He arranged taxis, meals, tours and a camel safari, making our Jaisalmer visit full and rewarding. The rooms were large, clean and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. I’d happily stay there again.
When you stay there the owner takes care of you in a very friendly manner. You get advices, explanations about the place to visit and actually any help for your needs. We got also in a difficult situation because of a cancelled travel after our check out. Nevertheless the owner could help us amazingly and solved our case and so we could smoothly continue our tour in India. Thank you so much!
Beautiful hotel, excellent clean rooms and an awesome breakfast.
1. The property is cozy, beautiful, well managed and has basic facilities 2. Rooms are very nicely decorated with an authentic touch of jaiselmer 3. Decent location 4. Owner helped us with transportation and information
1. Wouldn't recommend eating from here... the food is very average. There are better options outside
The hotel is is very attractive with modern decor. It was very clean and comfortable and the manager and staff worked hard to provide a great experience. All the meals were delicious and freshly prepared.
a short dusty walk to the centre of jaislemer.
The hotel is also perfect for a longer stay. The hotel is in a quiet location and the staff are very courteous. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Jaisalmer, this is the right place for you.
So clean and all mod cons which were very welcome. Totally quiet at night. Great food in rooftop restaurant. Helpful front desk staff who arranged a trip out to cenotaphs and deserted village and washing done same day. Attractive design totally new but in traditional style
It’s a trade off but I would like to be closer to the action of old city and fort. I don’t see it as a walk as do others. It’s always a tuk tuk. The view of the fort is more distant than I expected. Small matters for such a charming comfortable place…
Very clean, comfortable and stylish
Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean
Restaurant service was very slow as they only have 1 cooking facility
Tastful decor and Cleanness of hotel. Efficient and professional staff.
Great location. Away from the congested areas but just a short drive away from the fort. Relatively new hotel. Tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Decent size room and big bathroom with spacious shower cubicle. More than enough light for both room and bathroom. Good WiFi. Tea/coffee facility and bedroom slippers provided by the hotel.
No real view of the fort and food was average
A small place with beautifully decorated rooms. Everything was very clean with lots of extras. Jeti, Dev and all the staff worked hard to make our stay a pleasant one. The restaurant’s meals were all delicious.
Service and food was great.
Room was smaller than images and food was very delayed, even breakfast. They should inform about the buffer time for breakfast or take the order a night before as generally people would like to finish breakfast quickly to start their tour
we stayed here for 3 nights. a super charming boutique hotel. Cared and furnished with a lot of love. super nice and clean rooms. a very nice host and very friendly staff. the location is very relaxing and quiet. It's a 10 minute walk to the fort - you can easily walk the route (also in the evening when its dark) or take a tuktuk at any time for little money. wonderful terrace and great food in the hotel restaurant (breakfast as well as lunch and dinner). We even received a free room upgrade, thank you very much! we can highly recommend the hotel, we had a wonderful stay.
nothing
The ambience was very nice with traditional architectural details. Terrace was nice for breakfast and dinner but too hot during the day. Owner was very nice and provided a blouse repair at no charge. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Location was a little out of town and quiet, a respite from the constant city noise. Food was delicious
Nothing
The service was excellent and the room was comfortable and the people there made our stay memorable. The food was also good and we enjoyed the food.
The room was exactly as in the pictures. Extremely clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owners upgraded our room so we stayed on the first floor instead of the ground floor. The rooftop terrace dining area is a lovely cost spot. The food was freshly prepared and service was very prompt. There was everything one needs in the room and we did not feel the lack of anything. We parked right in front of the hotel.Would happily recommend to anyone wishing to stay here.
NA
Rooms and all facilities are elegantly decorated, clean well kept. Our host gave us his full attention, allways giving time to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction - and to check if there was anything he could do to make our stay in Jaisalmer perfect. The host is flexible and accomodating beyond expectation. You can enjoy an evening view of the fort from the roof terrasse
Nottingham. Enjoyed everything about our stay at Jasmin Home
Nice boutique hotel with good facilities and kitchen with good food. Personal service and good staff.
A little congested with surrounding buildings coming up and construction noise.
A new beautiful hotel built in the traditional haveli style. We were very impressed with the built quality. Room is very spacious and staff is ever so friendly and helpful. The owner chatted to us and gave us advice plus free farewell local craft/gift. He is an experienced hotelier and knows how to treat the guests well. The location is out of the old city, which means quieter, clean and calmer. Our driver can park right outside the hotel easily. It is only 15 minutes walk to the lake and 20 minutes walk to the fort (alternately take a tuk tuk for one british pound). On site restaurant or 10 minutes walk to nearby restaurants. We would highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel building is finished but the surrounding area hopefully will be finished soon.
The rooms, food, our host Jeetu were magnificent. Jeetu was very accommodating for our every need when SpiceJet cancelled our flights. He arranged for cabs to take us to Jodpur. Hotel Jasmin Home is really authentic but certainly extremely clean, comfortable and breakfast is included. We had a fabulous stay there. Jeetu also acted as almost a tour guide giving us advice of what to see. They also arrange desert safaris. They have a roof top restaurant that has a view of the Fort. All his workers were extremely pleasant.
There was nothing that we didn’t like. Please do yourself a favour and stay there. You will not be disappointed.
Hotel Jasmin Home was a wonderful home base for our family while exploring Jaisalmer. This boutique hotel combines modern comforts with beautiful antique and artisanal touches. We enjoyed leisurely breakfasts on the rooftop with a view of Jaisalmer Fort. The fresh squeezed orange juice and banana pancakes were favorites. Jitu is a gracious host and, like a personal concierge, went out of his way to assist us with planning tours, transportation, and shopping. The walking tour of the fort with Lalu and our desert camel safari with dinner under the stars were highlights. Jasmin Home was a lovely oasis to return to at the end of each day in Jaisalmer.

Hotel is a super, well designed, comfortable and very clean hotel. We didn’t like to leave. Room terrace is amazing!!
Beautiful hotel room with excellent reception desk and a super good breakfast on the roof terrace. Everything well taken care of. We didn’t want to leave.
Breakfast was good; property provided the choice to choose your BF from the menu. Food was generally good and tasty. Location of the property is near to the Fort and other places of tourist attractions. Rooms were clean and hygienic. We enjoyed our stay at the property; the owner/other staff was very cordial helpful.
On the downside: it is a small property with no open common areas/garden or else.
clean, comfortable, quiet. Bed was very comfortable.
it’s not that close to town - which is great if you want to get away from the noise and dust.
Amazing staff service, very friendly and thoughtful. They looked into all aspects; from preparing delicious and freshly cooked meals to setting up an extra mattress (family with 2 young kids) without us asking for it, so we could sleep better, it was very much appreciated. From front office, kitchen crew to housekeeping, we were well taken care off during our stay there. The hotel is clean, beautifully decorated and quiet, very good location. Highly recommended.
What a brilliant hotel! We had a great stay here, so beautiful and comfortable. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They made excellent suggestions of what we could do each day and arranged an amazing Desert Safari Jeep. Where we were taken out to the Desert had dinner under the stars by campfire. The breakfast was excellent and I'd love to stay here again.
There was nothing I didn't like.
very tastefully done up property liked the decor
The rooms were awesome and super clean and they smelled really good. The hotel staff was awesome specially the owner Mr Jitendra, a very kind humble man.
I liked everything except just the location is inside a street.
The property management is doing an amazing job managing this property - very prompt and helpful staff. The property in itself is very beautiful and has a nice terrace with a view! Must recommend for folks visiting Jaisalmer
This family run small hotel in Jaisalmer is a gem and we are so happy to have found it. It is situated in a new building and managed to a very high standard. The high quality furnishings, the spacious rooms, the cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms are exemplary. The shower had good pressure and the bed linen was white and soft. Despite its small size, this hotel clearly strives to match the offerings of much bigger hotels: here you will also find bathrobes and slippers, full sets of toiletries and plenty of well-laundered towels, plenty of bottled water in big bottles, good wi fi connectivity and a turn-in service in the evening. Most importantly, the hotel provides excellent service from family team capably led by the charismatic Mr Jitendra Bissa. We were given clear information about the house rules and timings (also clearly displayed in the room) as well as some aspects that were out of their control and suggestions how best to manage those. I felt very safe throughout and very comfortable having an open and respectful dialogue with our hosts about our needs and wishes. We found the little rooftop restaurant with a fort view superlative, providing an excellent complimentary breakfast, with the best pancakes - substantial and very tasty. It also offers lunch and dinner, which were excellent and reasonably priced. Most importantly, they state that they cook their food using purified and triple-filtered water, signalling their attention to the foreign tourists' need to be mindful about what they drink or consume to avoid stomach upsets. The hotel offers a money exchange service, which was very useful to us. It also organises desert safari trips - we went on the dinner camel safari, which we found to be unforgettable (and reasonably priced). Following an exciting jeep drive through the scrubby bushlands, we enjoyed the camel ride through the dunes and were prepared a tasty meal under the stars by our driver Kabir and our camel handler Samboo Singh.
There really isn't anything that I could suggest in terms of improving the quality of the hotel facilities or services on offer. It is probably useful to be aware that the hotel is situated in a quiet side street, away from the hustle and bustle of the main city areas (a big bonus) but it is in the vicinity of other hotels being currently constructed (using stonemasons and manual labour so there was no noisy disruption whatsoever). So, the view from the back is one of scrubland and you get full privacy on your little balcony should you wish to get some fresh air.
Our stay at Jasmin home was great. clean room with facilities ,nice decorate, helpful stuff, good selection for breakfast and taste and the owner very nice
nothing
Our stay at Jasmin Home was outstanding: great and helpful staff, delicious food, spacious and super clean rooms, comfortable bed, ... When staying there, you should talk to the hotel manager for ideas and recommendations. He organized a desert safari just for the four of us which was a unique and special experience! Highly recommended!

The hosts were extremely welcoming. The rooms were very clean. Food was good. Loved the place overall. They even have a place for parking
There was nothing not to like.
Cleanliness, Hotel decor, Courteous staff, Jitendar Bhai (owner), Excellent food - they will prepare it like you want, Everything you want to do/need is taken care of, zero hassles.
Everything was top notch Food- Comfort food just like home Service-super fast Rooms- Cozy and beautiful, lovely vibes location- in close promxity to major tourist attractions ..and the hospitality is unbelievable.! They will go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Highly recommend!!!
-Exceedingly hospitable hosts. Jitendra went truly above and beyond in taking care of us. Breakfast was spectacular on the rooftop restaurant, and all the staff were super lovely. The room itself was spacious, well decorated, and clearly a lot of thought has been put into every single detail. Jaitendra also provided very helpful local tips, and suggested a few activities. We didn't feel pressured in any way. We ended up choosing their safari into the desert, with Mr Kabir Khan, who again provided exemplary service. Overall me and my partner would highly recommend staying at this place!
The staff was very polite and helpful. The food at the property was also very nice. The host guided us well about all that was to be seen in and around Jaisalmer. A beautiful, cosy property. Highly recommended if ever visiting Jaisalmer.
Highly recommend - Excellent service, Owner is a kind person, very friendly staff feel like home, 5 stars in cleanliness Very close to all amenities❤️
Brand new hotel just outside the entry of the city. The first impression entering the hotel is the amazing smell and all the refined details of the entrance. The stairs are breathtaking in the typical style of Jaisalmer. We had the best best breakfast ever on the rooftop terrace with the view of the fort. the hotel is very modern with high standard bathroom. Highly recommended
