La gentilezza estrema della manager dell’hotel. Impossibile incontrare una persona più cortese e disponibile. Persone così ti riconciliano con l’umanità. L’arredamento spartano ma coerente.

La difficoltà di raggiungerla. Posta all’interno di un’area scenica con molti gradini da affrontare con le valigie.

L'hôtel est situé sur le haut de Pin ang dans un quartier piétonnier, très calme. Il est un point de départ idéal pour les randonnées vers Lonji ou Dhazai. Les chambres sont confortables. Les plats locaux cuisinés par la propriétaire sont excellents. Celle-ci est toujours accueillante et prête à donner les conseils de visite. Les vues sur les rizières sont splendides. La randonnée vers Lonji (1h aller) est très facile, celle vers Dhazai (4 à 5h aller) est plus difficile du fait de l'absence de panneaux de direction à certains endroits, les deux présentent des points de vue époustouflants.

Il peut s'avérer difficile de trouver l'hôtel dans les ruelles du village si vous n'avez pas google maps ou WeChat (dialogue avec la propriétaire qui viendra vous récupérer à l'entrée du village). Une autre solution (la notre) a été de réserver un taxi par son intermédiaire. C'est un peu plus cher que Didi, mais la solution comme le taxi sont très confortables. En revanche, c'est aussi un peu plus long car le chauffeur semble préférer les routes aux autoroutes (Economiser les péages compte tenu du prix forfaitaire négocié à l'avance?...). Une sorte d'itinéraire touristique.

Longji Holiday Hotel is een hele fijne accommodatie voor het verkennen van de rijstvelden. De eigenaresse is erg behulpzaam, spreekt goed Engels en geeft handige tips voor de uitzichten en wandelingen die je kunt ondernemen. Kamer erg ruim, schoon en met een fijne douche en - zeker voor Chinese begrippen - fijne bedden.

Eigenlijk niets. Alleen het feit dat je een stukje moet klimmen met je bagage om de locatie te bereiken, maar daar kan a) het hotel niets aan doen en b) draagt dit ook bij aan de charme van Ping'an.

May was a wonderful host. She helped us with transfers to and from the hotel, and advised us on walks in the area. The views from the hotel are amazing, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful.

Leuk midden in het dorp gelegen, May is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en kan heerlijk koken!

Bardzo ładny pokój z balkonem, wygodne duże łóżko, dobre i obfite śniadanie chińskie. Właścicielka bardzo miła i pomocna, służy radą jak zorganizować sobie wizytę na tarasach w dwóch punktach widokowych, które są w okolicy. Wcześniej, zorganizowała nam również bardzo komfortowy transport samochodowy z Yangshuo do Ping'an w dobrej cenie. Także i w dniu wyjazdu zapewniła nam dowóz i wstęp na przedstawienie z udziałem kobiet z długimi włosami w wiosce Huangluo. Sumarycznie, pobyt na tarasach był krótki, ale super!

The hotel is located in the heart of Ping'an Hung Village. This allows you to explore the surrounding rice terraces on foot, and in one day, reach the viewpoints (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers (九龙五虎) and Seven Stars with the Moon (七星伴月), which offer stunning views. The owner, who speaks excellent English, is very helpful in arranging transportation to the hotel (in our case, from the Guilin train station) as well as to the next town on our itinerary. In our case, it was Yangshuo. The Chinese breakfast (noodles) was excellent, and you can also enjoy typical dishes from the region in the evening. The hotel also serves European breakfasts, but for us (we are from Poland) Chinese breakfast was more attractive than the European. Overall, the stay was wonderful...

It would be great if we could talk longer with the owner about the customs and life of this ethnic community.

Das Hotel liegt zentral im Dorf direkt an der Reisterrassen-Wanderrunde. Der Hotelmitarbeiter (Besitzer?) sprach gut Englisch (sehr selten in China) und war sehr hilfreich in allen Belangen (Wandertips, Weitertransport per Taxi).

My stay at the Longji was very pleasant! May and the other guy at the reception were super nice and helpful. The room was very cozy, the view was great and the bed was comfortable, which I loved! There's no elevator yes, but they helped me carry all the luggage, and they arranged a transfer/driver to pick me up at the Guilin station and to get me to Yangshuo. I also enjoyed the breakfast and the meals the staff prepared. I definitely recommend this place! :)

The location was good

There were 3 enormous cockroaches in our room that I had to kill. The did our laundry and gave it back to us a day later when we were leaving and it was still soaked and the clothes had been hanged on hangers in a way that deformed and ruined them! Shame. Also, they didn’t tell us that we had to pay 10€ to get to the hotel because it’s in a scenic area.

L'hôtel très bien situé dans le vieux village. Notre chambre, très confortable, avait une terrasse avec vue sur les rizières 👏 May est adorable, toujours prête à rendre service. Le dîner était excellent. Une très bonne adresse.

Het hotel kon je geen hotel noemen het was meer een hostel. Het eten viel tegen. En we vonden ze niet erg gastvrij. We zouden er 2 nachten verblijven maar zijn na 1 nacht vertrokken een hebben een ander hotel geboekt. Het ziet er totaal niet uit zoals de foto's die bij booking.com tezien waren.

Mai’s hotel is perfectly located in the center of the village, making it very convenient to walk from there to the rice terraces. The view from our room was breathtaking, we stayed on the fifth floor, and the climb was absolutely worth it. Above all, the hospitality, care, and help we received were truly exceptional. Oh, and the food was delicious too. We highly recommend this place.

The best hotel we stayed at on our trip to China! Great room, super helpful staff that spoke English. We stayed only one night but got all the help with transports, hikes, even directions during the hikes. We also ate dinner in the evening in the hotel prepared by the owner which had a tasty flavor. Village itself has a magical feeling and the views were amazing.

El día de la llegada fue caótico pues el día anterior me habían dado el contacto de wechat y no lo respondían, tampoco me indicaron de manera precisa que hacer cuando el colectivo te deja en un lugar y nadie habla tu idioma y no sabés a donde ir porque no es como una ciudad normal, suerte que alguien se apiadó, usó su movil y se comunicó al hotel luego de que adivinara cual era. Para subir al hotel es 1,5 km con valijas, el hotel debería prever eso y directamente estar esperándote en el lugar. Al llegar al hotel ni siguiera te ofrecen una botella de agua, y tampoco la colocan en la habitación. Semplicemente MERAVIGLIOSO! è stato tutto perfetto, dalla posizione dell'Hotel (vista risaie, che illuminate di notte e all'alba sono magia), allo staff (la proprietaria e suo fratello sono stati gentilissimi e disponibilissimi, ci hanno persino lavato TUTTI i vestiti che avevamo con noi e organizzato il transfer da e per Guilin ad un prezzo super economico). La camera era meravigliosa, molto spaziosa e pulita, accogliente al punto giusto dotata di ogni confort. Abbiamo cenato in Hotel ed è stato tutto buonissimo! Assolutamente consigliato per vivere una esperienza da favola nelle risaie di Longji

Struttura immersa nelle risaie di Ping'an, grande disponibilità nell'organizzare itinerari e spostamenti e cena deliziosa.

Tutto! Posizione al centro del villaggio, comodo per entrambi i punti panoramici. La proprietaria May è una persona squisita, ci ha aiutato con i percorsi ed è sempre stata super disponibile. Inoltre è una bravissima cuoca, abbiamo mangiato veramente bene! Ci hanno organizzato il trasferimento in taxi da Yangshuo e siamo arrivati proprio di fronte all’hotel. Al check out ci hanno accompagnato in auto al parcheggio all’ingresso dell’area panoramica. Grazie per il soggiorno stupendo!

La struttura si trova nel piccolo paesino e gode di un panorama sulle risaie incredibile. La camera è calda e accogliente . La proprietaria è super disponibile per organizzare transfer da/per Guilin e yangshuo , con prelievo direttamente nel tuo hotel . Merita sicuramente passarci una notte . Ottima la cucina .

Purtroppo non ho potuto godere dell’accoglienza che ho letto in tante di queste recensioni . La proprietaria ho avuto modo di conoscerla di persona solo il giorno seguente al check out e l’accoglienza senza di lei è praticamente inesistente, sia al nostro arrivo che durante la cena e colazione . Il personale non parla inglese ma cerca di venirti incontro . Piccola blatta di benvenuto in bagno.

Vistas espectaculares y habitación muy bonita. Para mi no es importante pero es bueno saber que no tiene ascensor y hay habitaciones hasta la 5 planta. El desayuno básico pero bien. Encontrarlo puede ser ligeramente complicado por tu cuenta pero si es necesario van a buscarte.

L'accoglienza calorosa di Yanmei, la proprietaria, e la disponibilità del resto dello staff per soddisfare le nostre esigenze in modo personalizzato. Ottima cucina, fresca e di qualità. Ci è rimasto nel cuore il sorriso dolce di Yanmei.

Wow thank you Mai for making our trip to Longshi so special and helping us out so much to plan our days! A fantastic location, right on the rice terraces walking/hiking route. The food at the hotel was delicious, and the hotel room was beautifully designed and homely. We are so glad we stayed here and couldn’t recommend it enough, if you are looking to explore the rice terraces.

Our host May spoke excellent English and was able to organize our trip from Guilin to Ping’an as well as assist us with planning our day. The accommodation has a very nice family-like atmosphere. We got to eat great local dishes and taste local wine. We had great views of the rice terraces from our balcony.

The furniture on the balcony is quite basic and would benefit from sth. more comfortable. (Since it is quite nice to spend time on the balcony.)

Thanks Mai. For making our stay so seamlessly easy and memorable. Our visit to Ping’an and Longji Holiday hotel were amongst our most favourite. Mai’s English language skills made it so easy. We ate rice, bamboo shoots, green veggies and drank tea all grown in her families terrace garden. Mai organised a taxi to collect us from Guilin airport and another taxi to take us to Yangshuo when we left.

Hosts were great! They helped us out a lot. Went hiking with us helped us catch a bus back to the nearest town. Very friendly. Couldnt ask for more.

May was the most hospitable host. You can rely on her for a wonderful stay

Great view from our 6th floor (perhaps view blocked on most lower floors as lots of construction around). Small but beautiful and, at the time of writing, still relatively authentic area of rice terraces. Had time to see all in 2.5 hours in the evening, allowing us too transfer to another area the next morning. Great helpful service and delicious food - we tried the same dish the next day in a highly rated restaurant (4.7 A-Map) and the hinge cooked version was better!!

If you want to transfer in the morning,talk about this the night before as the relevant shuttle goes early and the taxis are expensive. Note that DiDi not an option in this area, it appears. The owner assumed we'd be happy with the latter shuttle and didn't tell us about the early one until 10 mins before...

Everything was great, especially the view of rice terraces (also in the night). Our room was very clean, the host has been very helpful with advice. She organized transfers from Guilin and local transportation. Be sure to have dinner at the hotel. The food was delicious.

We arrived at the train station in Guilin, planning to go to the Rice terraces by bus or taxi. However, because we don't know Chinese, we didn't know exactly all the details of the route (we did everything at last moment, don't repeat). So we booked this hotel at the last minute, largely because May speaks English. Almost immediately she helped us with a taxi at a good price. It turns out that if you call Didi to the village, you have to pay the taxi driver to enter the rice terraces, as most drivers don't have one. Pingyang is a very authentic village, there were minimal tourists in the village when we visited, for us it was an amazing experience. We decided to stay for two nights, to enjoy the mountain views and the fresh clean air. May is a true angel, we trusted her 100%, she helped us in so many situations. The hotel lobby with stunning wood furniture, unbelievably beautiful! Tourist tip: Come to Pingan, stay overnight and hike to Dazhai early in the morning. Enjoy the views and the silence. Have lunch in Dazhai and take a car back to Pingan.

The location is great, easy to walk to amazing viewing of the rice terrace and the host came to meet us at the parking lot to take us to the hotel. The host also helped to carry my suitcase . Great breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. We have a room with balcony view overlooking the rice fields. The hotel is beautifully decorated including the room and large dining area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host also arrange for transportation to and from Guilin Station and hotel.

The place is magic, and the owner, Mai, is very kind. She speaks really well English and she was extremely helpful. She can also accompany you in long hiking among villages if you need.

Nothing, everything was perfect

From the hotel there is direct walking acces to the rice terraces, the scenic spots. Easy and very helpful communication with the owner Liao Yanmei who gave advice about activities, directions, drove us, guided us, cooked for us, so we could make the most of it during three days. We learnt a lot from her, thank you, Mei!

That we had to leave. We'll aim to come back in different seasons.

May is a friendly host and her cooking is great - we ordered chicken and bamboo rice for lunch - and they were freshly prepared and delicious. We stayed there for 1 night and ate lunch, dinner and the next morning breakfast. All were prepared on the spot and delicious. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. There is a balcony and we can get the view of the rice terraces. May speaks English, so no worries for those who doesn't speak Mandarin. As I came with a senior (who can't do much climbing and was experiencing difficulty), she patiently helped to guide her up to the hotel (and the next morning down to the car park). Thanks May for the help! It was definitely a value for money stay!

This is a point to take note of - especially for those who have kneecap issue. The hotel is more than 100 steps from the car park, so it might not be suitable if you have weak knee / legs. Probably a hotel along the road (up to the Nine Dragon Five Tigers Viewing platform) might be more suitable in such cases. The lighting at the staircase in the hotel is a bit dim, so if you come with a senior, do be careful. There is no lift in this hotel and there are a total of 5 floors of rooms, starting from the 2nd floor. The above points should not be of concern if you don't have difficulty climbing stairs.

The location was ideal and the owner was very helpful. She prepared a breakfast when I was leaving very early in the morning to discover the village of Dazhai and even arranged a transfer to Yangshuo. The food was delicious ! I highly recommand and will be sure to come back here if I ever have the chance to !

We were met at the gate by our hostess, who helped us with one of our heavy backpacks and two small bags of snacks. She would have carried both our bags if her basket was big enough! It was an uphill climb of about 10 minutes. The hotel is situated about 2/3 up the hill of the village, which means that one is closer to the rice fields and hiking up to the two observation decks is shorter. The hotel itself is very charming, and for the best view, you will need to climb five floors up, no elevators, to the top floor. Our room was spacious and the decor very rustic and charming. The surrounding area is a delight to explore. Lots of trails to get to two view points. Very good signage too. Breakfast was included with our room. Dinner is also available upon request with good selection of local dishes. Our hostess, whom we dubbed Super Woman, also would personally walk guests down the village on departure day.

Beautiful hostel in Ping’an village. Very clean. Just need to walk few minutes to be in the rice fields. 1h by foot to go to Longji and 4h to go to Dazhai (other villages). Home made meals were delicious (with local rice!). Host was also kind and she speak english.

Location near rice terrace observation deck, owner ( May ) is very helpful and friendly, she helped us to arrange a private car to pick us from Guilin to her hotel, she came to car park to pick us and helped to carry luggage to her hotel and also send us to car park when we left. She even came to pick us when we get lost while we were tracking. Food is delicious, room is clean. We strongly recommended this hotel.

We had the most amazing view of the rice terraces, in the most beautiful room. The staff was extremely helpful, including arranging a bus and driving us to the stop. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel is right next to the rice terraces and in a lovely village.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and organised a driver for us that picked us up in Guilin and drove us back. Moreover, the location is perfect, nice breakfast, very cozy and beautiful room with a great view from the balcony. The hotel is in the rice fields which makes it very easy to explore from the hotel.

The hosts recommended a hike to us, however, a few more and detailed direction would have been nice as the paths were very hard to find and the hike was longer than expected. Anyways the host did help us through WeChat luckily.

Cute lodge type room, nice small village in the middle of two other villages so it’s great for hikers to hike to tow other villages on two days. Lovely owner. Good assistance with plans or logistical questions.

A bit more expensive than I would pay

Owner May manages everything! She helped us navigating on our hiking trip, cooked us great dishes. She also arranged us a ride back to guilin, which by public transfer is not that easy. She speaks english so you can ask her anything.

Mei the owner, spoonfed me all the pickups and drop offs in and around the area. Her food was the best and most fair priced. The room was beautiful and the location is perfect.

The owner, May, is incredibly friendly, speaks English very well and cooks wonderfully! The hotel is so clean, the room was so big and very comfortable! May and her team recommended us how to do a trekking and how to visit the surroundings. In addition Pig' an is lovely destination for knowing Login Rice Terrace.

Great location in Ping’an village and good access to rice terrace walk. Exceptional hosts who were extremely friendly and helpful. They cooked us a fantastic meal and walked us back to the village carpark on the morning we left. Next level customer service with a lovely family feel.

Ping’an village does not allow car access, so you have to walk to the accommodation, but this is the same for any of the accommodation options in the village. The hotel owner came to meet us to help show us the way and help with our luggage.
