Hotel receptionist asked me to leave within 20 minutes, after check out time . He gave me ultimatum. It was raining heavily outside, but he didn't even have that humanity that Customer would face problem. He instead tried to take advantage of the situation. Its very sad that such people work in this industry.

Ambience dinning area

I truly loved my stay. Clean dorm (they have female only, which is a huge bonus point) , no noise, its very peaceful and at a good location. They also have a beautiful yogshala on the top with great view to use whenever for our own yoga practise. The staff was always so so helpful and kind, they also arranged my taxi to Delhi airport and allowed me to stay in the hostel till I leave. Super kind! I will return one day!

Hospitality, hygiene, budget friendly, location, rental scooty without even asking and a well trained staff.

Estuve 1 semana y en todo ese tiempo tuve agua caliente solamente 2 días. Informé varias veces de la situación y siempre me decían que ya lo habían arreglado, hasta que ellos se percataron de que el problema continuaba. La primera solución fue ducharme en la habitación del dueño del hotel, lo que no resultaba cómodo, después de señalar mi incomodidad y apelar a la falta de profesionalismo, me habilitaron una habitación para ducharme (el último día de mi estadía). El dueño fue muy irrespetuoso y me dijo que eran problemas que le podían pasar a cualquiera y que si quería me podía ir del hotel. Estuve en la habitación compartida, en la semana que estuve jamás limpiaron la habitación, tampoco cambiaron las sábanas de mis compañeras que dejaban el hotel.

The stay was very comfortable , it’s very close to all the you wanna do and visit in Rishikesh, you can infact get a porter to carry you and your bag up there you don’t wanna climb up a little , but a walk to the moksham unravels other beautiful views and cafés along the way .

My favourite stay in Tapovan! Lovely yoga studio at the top, cute little cafe on the ground floor, and very clean rooms. The staff are incredible. They helped me with everything I needed and went above and beyond to make sure I got to my train, organised taxis, and knew where I was going. Met some lovely travellers there too!

My stay at Moksham Hotel was amazing. The rooms and common areas were very clean, and all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The location is good - just a little away from the main road, so it’s peaceful and quiet. I stayed in the dorm, but honestly it felt more like a private hotel room. It had its own bathroom and a balcony, great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel!

It's fine for Rishikesh, middle of the pack and for the price it's ok value. Bed was good.

Die Lage haben wir nicht so ideal gefunden; es ist etwas versteckt, dafür war es ziemlich ruhig.

Everything was good, the nature/behaviour of the staff was very nice. I like the location as well. The owner of the hotel is a super nice person, very helpful.

The rooms a beautiful, comfortable and apt! It feels like home and not a hotel, truly! I felt safe, enjoyed my privacy, the gentry who come here is great and it’s just awesome!

One of the few options with clean bedding, hot water, and a clean room (by Indian standards) at an affordable price. You can tell the hotel is well maintained and cared for. The room has a kettle and proper plumbing that is actually comfortable to use.

Because of the low hot water pressure, there wasn’t enough flow to shower properly. We had to wash using the tap instead.

One of the best Hostels I've ever stayed. It's very clean and with a lot of cozy common areas to rest or be around. The location in upper tapovan is also close to a lot of coffees, good walkable distance to the markets and Ganges ✨ Extra + for the curtains on the beds

The infrastructure is very good! The staff, with the exception of one, are very polite and helpful. Welcoming environment and well located.

I don't recommend this for digital nomads. The night shift employee was always bothering me, turning off the light where I was as a final sign of discomfort. He asked me to change my work location, sighed at me as a sign of impatience, and it seemed like I was there for free. This made me feel bad, so I stayed for a week and decided to change hotels. All the other employees were amazing, but this young man from the night shift wasn't, especially since he works nights like me; he could have shown more empathy.

I had a very nice experience staying here. The location is great, the staff are very polite and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The café food is simple, tasty, and hygienic.

The Wi-Fi is not up to the mark, and the bathroom space is a little small.

Muy cómodo, tranquilo. Hay un espacio para poner a secar la ropa en el balcón. El personal muy amable y tienen servicio de algunas comidas simples y cafetería. Tienen cuarto solo de mujeres. Me encantó y volvería.

Se podría mejorar la limpieza, sobre todo del cuarto y el baño. Cuando entramos en el cuarto había mucha basura en el piso. Tienen botes de basura muy pequeños y estaban llenos e incluso basura en el suelo alrededor, también en el baño lo cual es bastante asqueroso. En el cuarto había solo una chica. Parecía que hacía días que no los vaciaban.

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. The manager is kind and always helpful, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. I had a private room and it was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped — I didn’t miss a thing. There was even access to safe drinking water, which was a thoughtful extra. Another highlight was being able to use their yoga hall all by myself for my own practice, which made the experience even more special. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, and I truly felt at home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and well-run hotel.

El baño es muy pequeño e incómodo. Las habitaciones se ven mucho más grandes en las fotos por el gran angular.

El hostal es muy lindo y en cada piso tiene una sala donde se puede estar. Huele siempre a incienso muy rico.

Vi que cuando se fue un huésped no cambiaron las sábanas para el siguiente (simplemente la estiraron) y eso no me gustó.

Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Zimmer war relativ klein, aber sehr sauber und komfortabel. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis hat gepasst.

WLAN hat zu Beginn nicht konstant gut funktioniert. Neben dem Hotel hat es eine Art Deponie, wo die Leute Abfall verbrennen. Dieser Rauch zog es manchmal ins Zimmer. Es gab keine Yogaklassen. Das war schade!

I really enjoyed my stay at hotel The Moksham. From the moment I arrived they helped me with everything. I felt really at home because of all the good care of the staff. There was also calming music and lovely aromas in the hotel that helped me feeling relaxed.

The only minor was the pressure of the shower. It was to my preferences too weak.

I came down with a viral flu shortly after arriving in Rishikesh, so I ended up spending 36 hours resting at Moksham. I’m so grateful I was able to recover in such a wonderful place. The location, facilities, room, and service were all excellent. Girish, the owner, is an exceptionally kind and welcoming host. During our brief stay, I learned a lot from him ...he spoke about how running Moksham is part of his spiritual calling, inspired by his guru, and shared the story of his journey in creating this place. The hotel’s calm, peaceful atmosphere really reflects his serene state of mind. I truly hope to return someday.

Douche die niet helemaal lekker werkte, er kwam wel water uit de kraan maar niet uit de douchekop erboven. Dit werd deels gefixt maar niet helemaal en later liep ik tegen hetzelfde probleem aan.

El personal es muy amable y la habitación está correcta. Tiene incluso aire acondicionado y una terracita.

Pedí que cambiarán las fundas de las almohadas porque estaban sucias pero eso es algo habitual el India. Lo demás parecía todo limpio.

The decoration and common spaces are really good, welcoming and clean. The room has AC and it’s big enough. They don’t clean it everyday, but it’s fine if you don’t want to be bothered. Also, the location is really good, so many cafes, restaurants and yoga classes near.

The WiFi is really bad. It doesn’t work actually, you cannot watch TV because it needs internet connection.

I had a really good experience here. I stayed for almost a week. The location was very convenient, and the staff were amazing — they helped me with everything I needed and were always kind and attentive. This hotel was recommended by a friend, and I’m glad I chose it. The room was clean, and the bed was so comfortable — I slept so well here! Overall, a great stay with warm, welcoming service.

Abishek and Deepak are absolutely amazing. They are so helpful and accommodating. The rooms are clean and relatively cheap for a private room in Upper Tapovan- close the Balaknath Rd where all the shops and cafes are, but away from the noise of honking vehicles. I stayed twice before and after my teacher training. The second time I stayed I had a balcony which was very useful to dry my undergarments. They provided a drying rack. You can also exchange money at the hotel

Incredible place, kind and nice staff, nice decoration, nice music, nice energy superclean, very good vibbes... It is a 10! The library with sofas is the best, you can just chill there and read. Everything is really clean. They have also a cafe with very good prices. The vibbes here are amazing. Thank you so much!

Food, location, and the rooms were amazing. The beds in the dorm are super comfortable and you have enough privacy :) The private room was beyond my expecations. Most beautiful room I´ve ever had in india, so clean and spacious and even the lighting in the room is so perfect!

My little home away from home in Rishikesh! I love the location, in a quiet part of the town yet close to all the best cafes, yoga classes and more! The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean with anything one could need (towels, water, shampoo, a hair dryer etc). I really appreciate the little living spaces on every floor and the Yoga Shala! Great value for money. Thank you to the team for helping me find the best deals and giving good recommmendations!

I got scammed. Don't book room with the balcony and don't pay them directly! Too much construction noise and the area is not green in the Google pics. Just houses around
