Close to the beach

Todo super bien. La atencion exelente, personal muy atento, ubicacion, playa, todo muy buena onda!!!

Talves el baño es un ppoco pequeño, pero despues de un rato se acostumbra uno.

The location was perfect. Maria took care of all of our needs, making sure we had sun bed or umbrellas or a taxi, whatever help to make her stay more comfortable. Hotel and room was so cute with a beautiful view and everything that one needs out of a beach stay.

Did not like the property.

It was small, poky, smelly and not worth the money spent. We checked out as staff were not flexible to give us another room for a family of 3 or refund us a portion of the full amount already paid. Staff were not helpful at all and could not recommend a doctors clinic close by as we were needing one. We ended up finding a much better accomodation outside of Chora. Do yourself a favour shop around before you book this place!

The location & quaintness.

The bathroom was microscopic. Just too small to be functional.

The staff were super friendly and helpful! Free water in reception, free beach towels (and sun beds if you want them). Not very noisy, and proximity to main town was great!

The shower was more of a wet room than a shower and bathroom. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable however could be what we are used to versus the local beds as wasn’t terrible still slept okay! Be aware, power lines across the view of the sea (didn’t bother us but nice to be aware)!

Maria lady was very friendly and helpful to tell us what to see and where to eat

Perfect location, just by the beach and also near the town and the port. Sunbeds and beach towels are provided. Maria and her staff were very kind and welcoming. Always with a smile and helping with recommendations. We felt at home.

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, muy cerca de la playa y en una zona cómoda para disfrutar de Naxos. El personal de recepción fue muy amable y atento durante nuestra estancia. También valoramos mucho el servicio de hamacas y sombrillas que ofrecen para poder llevarlas a la playa, un detalle práctico que mejora mucho la experiencia.

La habitación nos decepcionó, especialmente teniendo en cuenta el precio de 160 € por noche. La información de que tenía vistas a un patio interior estaba deliberadamente oculta dentro de las características de la habitación, a las que solo se accedía tras pulsar en dos apartados y aparecía al final de la descripción. Además, en las fotografías de Booking no aparece ninguna imagen de una habitación con vistas al patio interior; todas las imágenes muestran habitaciones exteriores con vistas al mar. Si esa información y fotografías hubieran reflejado fielmente la habitación que finalmente nos asignaron, no la habríamos reservado. También consideramos insuficiente el tamaño de la cama: en la descripción aparece como “cama doble”, pero en realidad se trata de una cama de 1,35 m, una medida que resulta pequeña para dos personas y que esperábamos que estuviera especificada claramente. El servicio de limpieza también estuvo por debajo de lo esperado: durante una estancia de cuatro noches solo realizaron una limpieza completa un día; otro día no entraron, otro únicamente hicieron la cama y la limpieza fue muy superficial, y las toallas usadas se fueron acumulando en la habitación durante varios días. Para un alojamiento de este precio, esperábamos mucha más transparencia en la presentación de la habitación y un estándar de limpieza acorde con la categoría del hotel.

Amazing location right at the beach with restaurants and sun loungers just out the door. Maria on reception was so friendly and helpful. The team kindly stored our luggage as no late check out was available & let us use the facilities till we left.

Very small room & tiny bathroom. Our room unfortunately had many electricity wires in the beach view we paid extra to have.

La pulizia della stanza, all’arrivo presentava ancora segni del soggiorno precedente. La camera è veramente piccola e l’affaccio nel palazzo non permetteva di avere le tende aperte (tra l’altro molto trasparenti 😅) Nella pulizia, non era ahimè compreso lo spazzare a terra. Abbiamo trovato spesso sabbia o capelli.

Ho prenotato all'ultimo momento a causa della cancellazione di un ferry, che mi ha costretto a stare sull'isola un giorno in più, ed è stata una ottima decisione. La stanza, seppur non grandissima, era dotata di tutto, aveva una buona vista parziale sul mare, la notte si sentiva il suono della risacca dalla spiaggia che si trova proprio sotto. Lo staff è stato disponibilissimo.

Die wunderbare Lage direkt am Strand, die Ruhe, die Kühle und die auffallende Freundlichkeit des Personals. Man durfte nach dem Aufenthalt auch noch in Ruhe duschen, bevor man weiterreiste.

Amazing location on the beach, we had a sea view. Maria was the most kind and lovely person, very smiley and she decorated our room with some lovely honeymoon surprises!

Didn’t restock shampoo/conditioner

The hotel was wonderful. The room well appointed and more spacious than expected with a kitchenette, dishes, coffee maker and fridge. We had a table on our balcony which overlooked the bay, which was perfect for breakfast and sunsets. All of the guests we encountered at the property were delightful. St. George hotel is easy walk to Chora, and Harbor. Our room was cleaned each day, and they offer laundry service (for a fee). Room has darkening shades and the A/C works well. Our neighbor at the hotel has been visiting every year for 26 years. Always stays at this hotel, and I can see why! Hope to visit again. Maria and her staff were wonderful. We walked from the hotel to Chora, and Harbor/Port. Easy. Quieter than being in Chora, but all the benefits close by.

Everything was wonderful. Nothing to complain about. We did have a neighbor that smoked, but that wasn't much of a problem.

The location was right in the beach with umbrellas, food and beverages. Amazing!

Loved the location, my lovely room and balcony AND complimentary sunbed and umbrella.. staff so attentive..generous toiletries and complimentary cold drinking water..

La ubicación está muy bien! Casi sobre la playa y a unas cuadras caminando desde el centro de Naxos. La habitación tenía una vista al mar increíble, se escuchaba el ruido de las olas. La atención de María y el personal del hotel fue muy buena, súper amables, buena onda y nos dieron la data necesaria para manejarnos por la isla y visitar las playas que nos podían gustar según lo que les contamos que queríamos hacer.

La habitación es un poco pequeña en relación al precio de la noche.

This lovely hotel is in a prime spot on St. George Beach. The owners were welcoming, the room was lovely and comfortable, the view was fantastic. We’d happily stay here again (and again) and have already recommended it to our friends that live in Rafina.

Fabulous location right on the beach. Wonderful, happy staff who were very welcoming and accomodating. I was able to check in slightly earlier and have an extra hour late checkout which was much appreciated with trying to time ferry departure. You can also borrow a sunbed to go and relax on the beach infront!

Excellent location on the beach. The room was very nice with a private porch and entrance. It felt like a small cabin. Highly recommend.

The room felt cramped at times with our luggage. The bathroom was extremely small. No room to place any toiletries anywhere on the sink and the shower.

Was very close to a beautiful beach and beach restaurant. Close to the main town - easy to walk. Laundry service was great.

We had specificity requested a Seaview room when we booked over 6 months ago for our anniversary. Our room was at the back with a view of the adjoining hotel’s reception which was a bit disappointing but they had left us a bottle of wine and some cute decorations which was nice. The staff were lovely but couldn’t give us a Seaview room because they were full. The room was so small we couldn’t open our suitcases. Aircon was not cold

Hotel Saint George is fantastic! Amazing location and the best people! We loved getting to know Maria and her family business. They were so lovely, helpful and we felt welcomed into their family. We felt like the ocean was our front yard. A true gem and must stay!!

Location right on the beach. A beautifully renovated quaint hotel. 10 mins easy walk from port and all shops and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable bed. Maria was a pleasure to deal with. So helpful and welcoming.

I would have preferred a nespresso to a kettle. The room is tiny but the balcony gives a nice place to have coffee and enjoy the view.

The room is quite small but perfect for a 4 night stay.

We were treated so well at Saint George hotel. The staff and location could not be beat. The hotel is seconds from the beach and a 10 minute walk from anywhere in Chora you might want to explore.

The bedrooms are a bit small, but you won't be spending much time in them.

Terrible bed, they did assist with a mattress topper, but still not comfortable. The room was very basic and the smallest we've had in 2 weeks... Lots of light coming through the windows. Room okay, but I would not stay there again...

The location is excellent - right next to a beautiful beach with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and a very short walk to the centre. Maria and her team were so welcoming. The hotel is very nicely designed, it’s clean and contemporary looking. There’s a lovely bathroom and shower downstairs if you’re hanging around after check out. The room is well equipped with a fridge, kettle, plates, cutlery and cafetière. Yummy bakery up the road is highly recommended for breakfast - delicious pastries and coffee.

As expected the room was quite small. The building itself is quite echoey so mornings were a bit noisy - one to be aware of if you’re jet lagged.

The location. It is literally just steps from the beach and a collection of bars and restaurants. Walking in the opposite direction from the beach it is only 10 minutes from the centre of Naxos Town. Couldn’t be better!

Sitio perfecto en la entrada de la playa. Cuarto acogedor con buen estado de limpieza. Personal muy amable, te dan varias recomendaciones de transporte y restaurantes en la isla. La terraza tiene bonitas vistas a la playa.

The Hotel is right on St George beach and in close proximity to Naxos port / town (10 minute walk). Amazing views and reasonable sized rooms (Room 12 has the best view). The owners & staff were very helpful and friendly, provided recommendations on local restaurants and spoilt us with specialty Greek chocolate biscuit treats.

The shower in room 11 does not have a glass partition and was very small.

La ubicación, que estaba dentro de todo cerca del puerto

El baño hiper pequeño, NO TENIA AGUA CALIENTE LA DUCHA, nos bañamos con agua helada, la cama lo más incómoda y ruidosa que había, se escuchaba todo tipo de ruido en otras habitaciones, cuando los otros huéspedes subían las escaleras, se escuchaba todo, imposible dormir, el piso inmundo de tierra caminabas descalzo de la cama al baño que era medio metro y tenías los pies negros, el personal solamente está en un horario específico luego 9 pm se van , hicimos check out solos porque no había nadie para que nos reciban la llave así que la dejamos arriba del escritorio y nos fuimos, abajo en la entrada abierta la puerta toda la noche sin llave sin nada osea nada de seguridad y menos si no hay personal, parecía un hostal más que un hotel, al lado de la puerta de entrada en la primera “habitación” que da a la calle, hay como un asilo adentro mismo del hotel , un hombre grande postrado en la cama con todas las puertas abiertas y esa es la primera impresión que ves cuando llegas al hotel! No fue muy agradable la estadía que digamos! No volvería…
