Beautiful area on the river
Nice location on the Shannon river Good bar and great food
Smallish rooms but clean and comfortable
Very nice room, very comfy beds.
No 24h desk.

Great location Lovely decor good space in bedroom and bathroom Lovely bed linen. Excellent staff.
There was no dedicated Gluten free offering at buffet.
Everything about this bouquet hotel was absolutely fabulous
I can't fault this place at all
Gorgeous property right on the River Shannon. One of the most atmospheric pubs downstairs I have ever experienced in Ireland. Superior food from the kitchen. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Really nice staff.
Choose rooms at the far end of the building away from the bridge, which is loud.
Un lieu fait de multiples contrastes, le calme de la partie hôtel vs l'ambiance du Pub ou l'on dîne, la déco tendance mélange de créations artistiques et d'objets anciens, une cuisine très quali, et un petit dejeuner extra !
The villa contained everything needed for family stay. The bar and restaurant provided great food and service. Location beside the marina was lovely.
Internet was patchy but the staff were very helpful in resolving
Easy to deal with very helpful 👌
It was a beautiful boutique hotel with great foot staff and atmosphere . Stunning location and beautiful setting
Absolutely nothing it was beyond our expectations
The friendliness of the staff.
Nothing
Die Pub-Atmosphäre und der Bootsverleih nur 15min Fahrt entfernt für einen Trip auf dem Shannon
störende Lüftergeräuche der Küche - direkt vor dem Hotelfenster
Personnel au top . Chambres nickel . Petits déjeuners excellents . Rien à redire . Merci
Lovely location next to river and room overlooked river with a small balcony with table and chairs. Room was lovely too! The manager was very helpful and friendly but unfortunately next door in the pub restaurant they were not as friendly or helpful.
After checking in it was lovely and sunny so we wanted to sit out the back on the terrace behind restaurant and have a drink after a long days driving but were told we couldn't sit there unless we were ordering food? (Even though we were paying hotel guests). We tried to explain that we were staying there and not just gone for a meal but they still refused us a seat. So we got a drink from the bar and went and sat over the road on a bench beside the river instead. Very short sighted of them really but it didn't spoil our stay as everything else was very nice!
Comfortable rooms, lovely location, delicious breakfast.
Booked twin (for a friend and I) arrived to a double. Separated the bed into two. Problem no extra sheets for second bed. Bit of faffing around with staff member but ultimately he sorted a separate room. It was midnight and ultimately solution was perfect!
Good breakfast. Excellent lady in charge of the breakfast. All staff we met were good
Great pub stay
Food was excellent lovely breakfast and comfortable room
The location
Very well presented. Clean and comfortable. Great views.
No ironing board. Lack of frying pan and some extra bowls would have been. Nice. Issue with no hot water one night.
Very clean, authentic, awesome breakfast and very friendly staff. Can fully recommend.
Since it is an old building the door to the balcony was not well insulated and not noise proof. But that did not affect my stay at all :)

Comfortable beds, great breakfast. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. Great walk on the Shannon River.

Beautiful hotel and location. The food and pints were 10 outta 10,definitely will be back .ps amazing breakfast also
I only stayed 1 night
The staff are amazing and a credit to your hotel. Breakfast was our highlight from the fresh delicious food to the extremely attentive and friendly staff. They made our stay a five star experience
Beautiful inn.
Boutique old style hotel on the banks of the Shannon with a good pub and restaurant. Rooms were comfortable, well equipped and cosy, if a bit too warm. Food in the restaurant was really good, and its a busy local pub also. Its a great location for exploring Roscommon, Strokestown and the Shannon. Nice walks down by the river.
There was a bit of road noise from trucks passing over the Shannon bridge at night.
Service outstanding staff went out of their way to accommodate us with food arriving after kitchen closure friendly, efficient ... just great example for Irish hospitality
Nothing really
Great atmosphere Food was great Staff very friendly and always available to support Room was big and warm Will definitely stay again.
nothing really. Just some aspects of the bathroom that was slightly outdated, but that is down to preference I would say. Great stay!
The staff are terrific. Extremely friendly and helpful. I visit here often for work and every time they remember me by name without having to check records. Service in the bar/restaurant is excellent and the breakfast service is absolutely superb.
Location, furnishings, cleanliness, staff behind bar great and in particular breakfast excellent. Agnus, polish lady looking after us at breakfast, amazing customer service, friendly, a credit to the place
Arrived approx 5.30pm. Had to find Mgr (small guy), seemed surprised we were guests, gave us key to room. Safe not work in room, back down again & after 3 staff tried to get his attention, we had to approach him, and instead gave us a key for room 11 where there was no safe at all. We gave up at that stage. No customer care whatsoever. Nice Blonde lady came over to table & at least she asked if we were ok. Food (fish & chips not great) in restaurant.
Staff, atmosphere and room all really good, lovely bar also
Nice room with own balcony. Near to river with river view.
Nearby is a bascule iron bridge, from there was coming noises when car driving over it. Was a hot weather and needed to keep door window open. When can keep door closed probably not hear it.
Excellent range. Delicious hot breakfast served by very attentive staff. As much tea and coffee as you wanted!
Last orders for evening meal were at 7.30. A bit early for us. Food delicious and service great.
The room had a lovely view of the river and the in house restaurant was very good. Given the other sleeping and eating options in the area (few), in my opinion Keenan's is the best choice. The location to the Famine Museum (a must see) was very good. Parking was convenient.
The bed mattress was a little hard. Nothing else.
Fresh warm baking with full choice of breakfast items
Having to leave!
I stayed there before
Nothing everything is excellent
Right on the Shannon, with a view over the river and a balcony (not that we used it in December!). Very peaceful and comfortable room, and the breakfast variety was like something one would expect at a much larger hotel, except that it was freshly cooked and of great quality.
I honestly can't think of a single thing that could have been improved about our stay. We will definitely be back again, as we have been multiple times since first discovering this little gem in 2020 (or 2021?)
Everything about our stay was wonderful - room decor, river view, food, atmosphere and decor of bar, exceptional staff.
The stay was fantastic , beautiful property and very well kept. Food was fantastic and staff were extremely friendly. My colleague stays with you weekly, so you came highly recommended & would intend to stay again.
I very small issue was their was a very loud water boiler type noise in the early hours of the morning possibly around 5.30 which lasted about 10 minutes and unfortunately woke me however this did not take away from the excellant experiance you provide.
Atmosphere, food, helpful and friendly staff, location. We will be back.
Nothing, everything was perfect
Fantastic stay, lovely hoyel with warm friendly staff. The food was amazing. Will definitely stay again
The hotel was beautiful very warm and cosy, the food was also exceptional
Everything from reception to sleep ! Worth to stay , seems like every customer is a family friend .
THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE STAFF.
Very homely comfortable hotel with very good rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly and food was also good
Food was lovely from dinner to breakfast, exceptionally clean and just a beautifull hotel, staff friendly.
Keenan's was outstanding--in fact, if we could plan our trip over again knowing what we know now, we'd have added an extra night at Keenans rather than head to Dublin when we did. I left something behind and the owner offered to ship it to me!
Very spacious and comfy
