The totally unavoidable burst pipe that leaked through the ceiling, down the wall and under the floor. However the owners were excellent in the situation.

Wonderful experience. Host met us and gave helpful tips re the area. Really appreciated all the little snacks he left for us. Thank you for the fans too, needed in this heat! Would def recommend

Fantastic location, plenty to do nearby. My son fished non stop and daughter loved the marina walkway. House is so well equipped, home away from home. Very attentive host. Couldnt recommend highly enough. Will definitely go again as soon as possible!

We had a wonderful stay — the house was exceptionally clean, spacious, and equipped with excellent facilities. It felt very comfortable and homely, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. Sharon, who met us on arrival, was warm, welcoming, and very informative, ensuring we had everything we needed. David also kept us well informed throughout our stay with clear and helpful messages. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and we would be delighted to stay again.

We had lovely stay in this wonderful house. David was really helpful and gave us lots of tips for places in the area to visit. Our young girls loved the house and were very sad to leave (we even had tears from our youngest!). It was so cosy and homely. Facilities were great, we had everything we needed. Plenty of hot water, comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. Surrounding area was beautiful, in close proximity to Longford and Termonbarry was a short walk. Will definitely be visiting again!

Very Nice Condo! Lovely Decor. Very Comfortable! Beautifully Clean and Tidy. I would gladly spend a few weeks here in the Roscommon Area! There are stairs as there are 3 levels but we had no problems with the stairs and Most of us are Active Seniors’

From before booking the communication with David (home owner) was exemplary. Generally interested in what we were looking to see in Ireland. Full of advice and help and regular contact answering any questions. Property was fantastic! Spotlessly clean and tidy and very well stocked with everything the family needed. Wonderful property with absolutely everything you might need during your stay. The hosts (David and Sharon) were so helpful in giving updates, advice, and providing something special for us to help celebrate a birthday. The location for us was perfect. If only we could have stayed longer, we would have. I don't think this will be our only visit.

The property was in great location, very clean, host was brilliant and extremely helpful. Veiw of the harbour from the balcony was lovely.

The whole experience was excellent. The host contacted us shortly after we booked and was helpful with all our needs. He provided a cot, pushchair and highchair for my granddaughter and there was all the basics we required on arrival I.e. tea, coffee milk and even lemon drizzle cake. The house is really comfortable and well equipped and the location by the little harbour and the river is brilliant. There are a few good restaurants and pubs within reasonable walking distance and the petrol station on the main road has a decent mini supermarket and they provide cooked breakfasts to take away. It was incredible value for money and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Really pleased with all experience and communication. David is a great host. We regularly go to the centre parcs Longford and staying near by in different location prior to the check in. This time we stayed in beautiful Marina house. Really handy location to explore surrounding area and museums. Definitely recommend it and 5* to the David as a host

The house is a lovely three storey close to the marina. The sofa and beds are comfortable and the rooms are nicely decorated. David met us at the house for check-in and made us feel very welcomed. . The house is only 500m walk from local shops and 2 great restaurants. We only stayed 2 nights but hope to be back for longer next time. It's a home from home

We got a gorgeous welcome, with loads of thoughtful bits in the kitchen. The place was beautifully decorated, and we felt right at home.

Very friendly host who helped pick restaurant. There was also some breakfast bits and plenty of coffee provided. It was very clean and well maintained. It was a short walk to restaurant options and had a nice view of the marina.

Great house, with plenty of room and everything one needs. Very quiet location, with immediate access to the N5. Two Really good pubs in the village who do good food, and you can buy all the groceries and hot food you need in the garage, which can be accessed on foot in 10 to 15 minutes

Our stay at Shannonside exceeded our expectations! David ensured we had everything we needed and was a fantastic host. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable and spacious. The location is very scenic, right on the river and within walking distance of some great pubs and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

The house is beautiful - spotlessly clean and really nicely decorated. It's located in a lovely quiet setting, right beside the marina and within walking distance of the village. Communication with the host David was great - we got lots of info before checking in and we felt we would be looked after for any requests we had. We had no issues during the stay and found the check-in and check-out process to be seamless. I would absolutely recommend staying here and will very likely return to stay in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at Shannonside to celebrate my 60th with my family. Great location by the river Shannon and short walk into Termonbarry to watch the boats through the locks and go kayaking on the river. Great facilities in the house, comfortable beds, great kitchen. David was a perfect host making sure we had everything we needed. We hope to return.

I stayed in Shannonside for a week with my family, including my elderly father. The host, David, met us on arrival and gave us a fantastic welcome. The house - which we had all to ourselves - of the facilities exceeded our expectations and offered us a base for trips to see family and out to Galway. If the house was a hotel it would deserve a six-star rating.

The front door lock was very difficult to use. Either the lock or the key are in need of replacement.

We only had the pleasure of staying at Shannonside for 1 night, the location is excellent, stunning views and close proximity to Longford. David the host was excellent and was able to provide us with Taxi numbers etc. Local to the area during our stay. We will definitely use Shannonside again when visiting friends in Longford, hopefully next time we can stay a bit longer.

The location is perfect..the house is so neat and spacious.. our group absolutely loved the stay! the host Dusty is extremely nice and informative.. so helpful.. a revisit is definitely needed
