Tolle Lage für Strandfans. Sehr ruhig. Mit PickMe kommt man super zu den umliegenden Restaurants. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber.

Das Frühstück war mit Abstand das schlechteste in allen Hotels, die wir auf Sri Lanka besucht hatten und mit wenig Liebe auf einer Anrichte aufgebaut. Jeweils eine Kanne schwarzer Tee und Kaffe für alle Gäste. Verbranntes Brot und Melone mit Ananas. Ganz selten Mango oder Papaya. Die Eigentümer erhielten ein gänzlich anderes Frühstück mit Cappuccino, Früchten, Rührei uvm. Dies wurde uns verwehrt mit der Aussage, dass alles alle ist. Es gibt nur am 1. Tag kleune Wasserflaschen auf den Zimmern, die nicht aufgefüllt werden. Das Personal wirkt unmotiviert und orientierungslos. Die Duschen haben keine Trennung zum Badezimmer und die Armaturen sind z.T. defekt. Als wir einen komischen Geruch festgestellt haben, bemerkten wir, dass ein tropfendes Rohr mit einem Handtuch umwickelt wurde, was dann natürlich nach Schimmel roch. Die Liegen sind fast alle defekt und für die Anzahl der Gäste zu wenig.

Tolles Bungalows und super Essen. Strand ist wunderschön und menschenleer.

Etwas abseits, man benötigt Tuk Tuks, um an belebtere Gegenden zu kommen, was aber unproblematisch ist.

Wij zijn hier 1 nachtje verbleven en hebben genoten van alles. Strand en zee geweldig. Huisje echt super. Helaas geen douche gordijn of apparte douche, maar daar kun je wel mee leven. Eten en drinken was lekker

Geen raambekleding in de badkamer. Je kunt van buiten zo naar binnen kijken. Het zit niet in het zicht, maar heb wel een paar keer personeel langs zien lopen toen ik in de badkamer was. De grootste ergenis is de muziek in de avond tijdens het eten. Denk dat dit onder de noemer houseparty valt. De hele tijd dezelfde deun met een enorme bas. Als je vraagt of er andere muziek op kan krijg je nagenoeg hetzelfde. Even is dit wel prima, maar wij hebben de laatste paar happen van het eten laten staan.

L'endroit est magnifique un peu en retrait de la ville mais ce qui est super appréciable pour se reposer et profiter de la plage juste devant l'hôtel. Le personnel est super sympathique et la nourriture est très bonne! Je le recommande en fin de séjour après un vos visites dans le pays

A little bit more out of town, but perfect for a quiet retreat. Hotel was exceptionally clean and staff very friendly. Pool and beach were lovely. Breakfast was good.

The beach is out of this world. Clean, calm , swim for ages.

A very clean, calm, and peaceful place. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided great service. The beach was clean and beautiful, perfect for relaxing. The food was very tasty and enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Our room was lovely inside but it was by the gate and our view was a lean-to with motorbike parking. We decided not to stay as they did not have any other rooms available . There was no view of the garden or swimming pool.

Un bout de paradis avec ses bungalows dans un magnifique jardin, qui va jusqu’à la plage et la mer. Une rencontre exceptionnelle avec les propriétaires, qui nous ont accueillis à bras ouverts, alors que nous sommes arrivés tard dans la soirée. Tout le personnel a été d’une grande gentillesse. C’est un endroit où l’on rencontre aussi d’autres voyageurs. Une pensée affectueuse aux chiens qui contribuent à l’atmosphère détendue et conviviale.

Le cadre est magnifique, et les chambres sont très spacieuses. Le personnel est adorable, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Most amazing location, right on a secluded crystal blue water beach. The swimming pool, the rooms are very comfortable. The service is very good and the garden are beautiful with birds ,hamac , swings, a little feel of paradise. We even had the chance to meet the owner and play tennis with him what a treat in Sri Lanka.

Only shy of 10 as the main restaurant is in need of renovation mostly the kitchen or the guest toilet which are not in line with the standard of the place.

Struttura bellissima immersa nel verde con accesso diretto al mare. Personale gentilissimo e cucina ottima.

Colazione un po’ misera

Unglaublich schöne Lage, Frühstück mit den Füßen im Sand mit Blick aufs Meer und chilliger Musik im Ohr - absolutes Urlaubsfeeling. Sehr freundliches Staff, nette Gastgeber, sehr sauber und ordentlich. Essen ist etwas teurer, aber von sehr guter Qualitä. Und wirklich viel teurer ist das Western Food, was absolut richtig und normal ist.

Einziger Kritikpunkt: der Geruch aus dem Abfluss/Badezimmer aufgrund des fehlenden Siphons

Notre séjour était super. Le personnel était attentionné et l’établissement très jolie entre piscine et accès à la mer.

Immersa in un giardino stupendo. Le stanze sono belle ampie ed accoglienti. Il persone sempre dolce e squisito.

Sicuramente è più un fastidio che un non piacere. Il farsi la doccia ed avere tutto il bagno allagato è più un non essere abituato di noi italiani, forse. O almeno per me.

We hadden een enorm krakend bed. Bij het omdraaien werd iedereen wakker. Dit gemeld, maar werd helaas niet opgelost. Jammer, was nl. niet zo comfortabel. Restaurant is lekker, maar prijzen zijn te hoog voor Sri Lankaanse begrippen. Zal met de locatie te maken hebben. Ze brengen je voor 2.000 roepies naar Uppuveli. Daar is veel aanbod.

Die Unterkunft ist der absolute Wahnsinn! Ein verstecktes Paradies mit unglaublich freundlichen Menschen, die dort arbeiten. Traumhafte Bungalows, high end ausgestattet. Super netter Besitzer und ein Manager, der jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Das Essen super lecker! Wir sind schweren Herzens gegangen, am liebsten wären wir dort geblieben.

C’est un pur bonheur de séjourner dans cet hôtel. Les jardins sont magnifiques et très bien entretenus , les chambres sont grandes et très confortables et le personnel est adorable. Éloignée de la zone touristique, la plage est belle et calme. Un endroit que l’on n’a vraiment pas envie de quitter !!!

L’emplacement est tout simplement parfait. On a accès directement à la plage qui est quasiment déserte. Le personnel est au petit soin pour chaque client. Les chambres sont assez propres. Je recommande chaudement cet établissement.

Prachtige accomodatie op een hele mooie ligging met privéstrand. Super vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Nimal de bedrijfsleider regelt alles voor je. Heerlijk eten. Samengevat een toplocatie!

Helemaal niets.

Wat een mooi en rustig paradijsje aan een mooi strand. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en het eten is vers en lekker. Een aanrader als je van rust houdt. Uppuvili is slechts 10 min met de tuktuk.

De bedjes aan het strand zijn aan vervanging toe.

Op alle vlak een gedroomde vakantiebestemming. Er is een prachtige tuin met zwembad en een strandzone die helemaal voor jou alleen lijkt. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en het eten heerlijk. 3 nachten was echt te kort!

Wij verbleven hier met ons gezin van vijf personen. Het was een geweldig verblijf! Het team is uitermate vriendelijk en service gericht. Ze hebben een heerlijke keuken en mooie kamers die van alle gemakken zijn voorzien. Maar dan het strand: Geweldig! Je waant je werkelijk in het paradijs! Wij komen hier graag nog eens terug.

Rustig gelegen, mooie tuin, groot privéstrand waar je praktisch alleen bent. Een mooi stukje paradijs waar we echt tot rust zijn gekomen. Ook erg lekker gegeten. Iets verder van het centrum, maar voor ons prima, wij houden van de rust. En met de tuktuk service die ze aanbieden sta je er zo!

We hadden gevraagd om een dinertje aan het strand te organiseren ‘s avonds. Stond enkel een tafel en stoelen. Tafel niet gedekt, quasi geen verlichting. Dat was een beetje jammer. Ik heb liever dat als dat niet voorzien kan worden dit ook zo wordt aangegeven.

Nos alojamos en una cabañita fantástica. Aire que funciona de maravilla. Hotel con acceso directo a la playa donde solo hay gente del hotel. El personal del hotel es majisimo y encantador, muy serviciales y la comida está muy rica

La única pega que pondría es que el wifi no llega bien a la habitación y que para volver de Uppuveli, no funciona la app de tuktuk, hay que negociarlo con los locales por estar alejado del centro

Les infrastructures de l'hôtel sont tres biens. Le personnel est aux petits soins. La plage dans le jardin de l'hôtel et les palmiers rendent le lieu idyllique.

We had a wonderful stay at 108 Palms. It’s clear how much love and hard work goes into maintaining this beautiful property, and every member of staff was warm and welcoming. The gardens leading down to the beach were gorgeous, and the beach itself was clean, with soft sand and sparkling warm water plus the shaded loungers were a very welcome touch. The food at the restaurant was consistently good, and the buffet breakfasts offered great variety each day. The hotel’s three resident dogs were great and I appreciated their company on sunrise walks along the beach. Our room was cleaned daily and was very comfortable, and there was nothing better than relaxing on the veranda watching the wildlife — birds, squirrels, monkeys, chameleons, dragonflies, all going about their day. Staff were also great in driving to and from Uppaveli in their tuk tuk for a very reasonable price. This place is a real haven. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

One small thing is the bathroom, it was difficult to have a shower without getting the sink and shelf area wet - but honestly this a very minor quibble and certainly wouldn’t stop us coming back.

Housekeeping cleans the rooms daily, but they don’t refill the water bottles (we had this in every other hotel, in this price range you might expect this). Also no shower gel/shampoo.

The resort itself and the rooms are beautiful. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a quit getaway (if you’re not, than it’s not the place for you since there is nothing within walking distance)

We didn’t really like the fact that you had to let them know your lunch and dinner preferences quite early (around 11 am and 4 pm) because it doesn’t leave us with a lot of flexibility. Also the food prices were quite high and our dinner seemed to be warmed up in the microwave (fresh prepared earlier that evening probably), not what we expected for that price

Lovely place. It felt like a yoga retreat. Loved the way it is designed. The owners are very nice and the employees are fantastic. So helpful and nice. The rooms are big and clean and the bathroom is big as well.

La situation exceptionnelle en bord de plage ou nous etions presque seuls. La piscine et son superbe jardin. Les grandes et belles chambres familiales avec frigo.

Le petit dejeuner buffet assez simple A noter que contrairement a ce qui est indique sur booking, le paiement par master card/visa n est pas possible, il faut donc bien prevoir du liquide.

Die Preise für Essen waren zum Teil sehr westlich im Vergleich zu anderen touristischen Restaurants, weshalb wir Mittag und Abend immer außerhalb gegessen haben.

Almost everything. Staff is very helpful, Check-in in 1 minute. Extra pillows in 3 minutes. Beach is wonderful and empty. The territory is beautiful and full of shadow. Beach towels are always available.

An amazing secluded location with as good as a private serene beach. The lovely staff takes real good care of the property and its landscaping. The whole bunch were really warm & helpful. Breakfast is superb and a well kept pool. Rooms are spacious. Three really loving dogs is a bonus!

At that price point, basic shower toileteries and dental kits should be provided, escpecially since it’s a bit tucked away. Our AC gave up overnight in peak summer, but was fixed right away in the morning.

Super schöne, gepflegte und saubere Anlage. Man liegt etwas ausserhalb, was für unser Top war. Mit dem Scooter kommt man problemlos überall hin. Der Strand ist leer und man hat seine Ruhe. Ein Ort zum entspannen und runterfahren. Das Personal ist super freundlich und engagiert.

Die Preise im Restaurant sind eher teuer. Auch die Vermietung von zB Scooter lohnt sich ausserhalb zu machen und nicht bei der Unterkunft selbst.

Lovely staff & wonderful location right on a clean sandy beach. The rooms were very spacious & comfortable with soaring ceilings & interesting, calm photographs. The breakfasts were really good except that we were never offered more coffee, although freely given when requested. Beautifully well-kept gardens to enjoy & a sparklingly refreshing pool.

The bathroom needs some protection from the shower - maybe a glass panel for preventing most of the room becoming drenched. It is a lovely room so a shame this was not incorporated into the design. Also the property should be properly signposted with the number & name clearly placed at the gates as it is difficult to locate. Although they were not advertised as available, we wish there had been some shampoo, conditioner & a box of tissues in the room which would make it feel more upmarket & welcoming. These were put in our room at every other place we stayed, even those at well less than half the price we paid at 108. It just feels a little like penny pinching which is a real pity as it is a lovely place & otherwise feels much quite high end. Bird droppings were right at the steps into the pool the whole time we stayed - a pity as plenty of lovely people looking after the gardens every day.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft! Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt. Alles war extrem sauber und gepflegt, man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut gelaunt. Besonders möchten wir uns bei Thushan bedanken – er war außergewöhnlich nett, aufmerksam und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht. So ein herzlicher Service ist wirklich selten! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der nähe

Wunderschön, gepflegt, blitzsauber, einsame Strandspaziergänge, perfekt für Ruhe und Erholung. Leckeres Essen.

Die überhöhten Preise für Mittag- / Abendessen und Getränke. Könnten etwas angepasster sein. Für uns zu europäisch.

Prachtig aangelegd resort. We hadden een ruim appartement met twee slaapkamers. Alles schoon en netjes bijgehouden. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Aan een heel rustig strand.

Niet echt een tegenvaller, maar houd er rekening mee dat je op een rustig (wat meer afgelegen) resort verblijft. Voor winkels en restaurants moet je dus een stukje rijden.

From the moment I arrived, this resort impressed on every level. The room was spacious, modern and immaculate, the grounds beautifully maintained, and the private beach and pool were simply wonderful. Sehr nettes Personal, sehr sauber und rundum guter Service

Leider ist der Strand relativ dreckig. Der zum Hotel gehörende Abschnitt wird gereinigt und ist schön. Jedoch sind umliegend kaum Hotels oder bewohnte Flächen, sodass über Nacht sehr viel Unrat aus dem Meer angeschwemmt wird, was leider sehr unschön ist.

TOUT. C’est un hôtel exceptionnel, de par ses employés, de son jardin, de son emplacement, de sa plage, de son calme et de ses infrastructures.

J’ai tout aimé dans cet établissement et ses alentours.

+ lovely staff + beautiful small-scale resort, spacious, lush and green + spectacular beach access right from resort. Beach and Sea are comfortable and clean + great food location is a bit further from town / other restaurants. Not an issue for us as we rented scooter (10 minute drive to town).

Resort prices for things like tuk tuk / laundry seem disproportionate compared to prices in town. Would advise to look for alternatives for such things.

I had a very disappointing experience at 108 Palm Garden, Trincomalee. The main issue was with the pricing. I was charged a higher amount than what was originally agreed at the time of booking, which is unacceptable and reflects poor transparency and customer handling. The customer service overall was very poor. Staff did not handle concerns professionally, and there was a clear lack of attention to guest satisfaction. Breakfast quality was below standard and did not meet expectations. Additionally, there were dogs roaming freely around the property, which made the environment uncomfortable and unsuitable, especially for families. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. Management should seriously improve their pricing integrity, hygiene standards, and customer service.

In ganz Trincomalee ist die Verpflegung relativ teuer.

108 palms is a lovely resort with direct beach access, perfectly located between Trinco and Nilaveli. it is perfectly managed and has competent staff, helping you with all you need for a perfect vacation. They organized scooters, an amazing whale watching tour and more. Thanks for the gerat time that we had with you.

Lovely hotel, rooms and grounds - perfect for families. Good food

The location would suit many, especially if you had a family. We didn't realise that there would not be other restaurants to walk to.

Magnifique endroit, personnel accueillant et souriant. Le restaurant etait tres bon. Ils ont organisé pour nous une sortie sur Pigeon Island un de nos highlights du voyage ! On a adoré la serenité de cet endroit, le magnifique jardin, la grande piscine et la plage splendide juste en face qu'on avait que pour nous !

Location was perfect. Nice clean beach front of the hotel .Staff were very friendly did everything they could to satisfy us. Dinner food was very good. I will definitely come back. We have extended our stay.

It was hard to leave 108 Palms! The staff were incredible, the food was delicious and nourishing, and our most difficult decision was whether to swim in the pool or the ocean.

I loved the property. It was not pretentious like so many beach resorts are. It blends with the environment and local community.

Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Gutes Frühstück und Abendessen. Toller Pool. Toller und gepflegter Garten.

Unbedingt vorher die Bezahlung klären. Am Ende wurde ohne vorherige Ankündigung 10% auf alles (Zimmer, Essen, Trinken Wäsche) erhoben. Sehr schmutziger Strand wir konnten leider nicht ins Meer.

Spitzenklasse. Direkt am Meer, mit Pool. Riesen Zimmer.Absolut ruhig. Tolles Personal , wie ein Familienbetrieb. 15 Minuten in die Stadt.Ewig langer Strand direkt am Resort.

Alles war top. Wenn's dunkel wird aufpassen beim Autofahren in/von der Stadt, der halbe Bauernhof ist auf der Straße unterwegs.

We enjoyed our stay. Good breakfast, clean, very spacious room. Friendly staff.

Small improvements could be made: Place to hang towels in the bathroom, internet in the room, little bit more storage for cloths and luggages. But overall, everything was very decent.

Beach front location but was miles away from anything. We like the quiet location except when the staff turned up the volume on regae music while cooking. It was kept very very clean, an army of women cleaning everything.

The music. We booked a side sea view room but you couldnt really see the sea. From our view all the rooms seem to be very similar but the prices vary hugely. Didn't like payment to a Lithuanian bank account. Towels poor.
