Первый раз отправился на Шри-Ланку, решил начать его с максимального спокойствия, умиротворения и созерцания океаном. Решил выбрать именно это место. Очень рад своему выбору. Хочу сказать большое спасибо всей команде отеля. Они огромные молодцы. Это небольшой отель из нескольких отдельно расположенных домиков. Находится в 10 минутах езды на машине/тук-туке от основной локации со всеми кафе и другими развлечениями. 2 минуты от отеля - и вы на уединенном пляже, где будете находится только вы. Реально. Смотришь налево и направо - никого, классные ощущения. Личный океан, можно сказать:))) В номере есть все необходимое, уборка номера, все на высшем уровне. Завтраки/обеды/ужины - по запросу, все вкусно. Спросите у Пувана, куда можно поехать посмотреть классные места, он со всем поможет и все организует - цены адекватные, никто вам не будет накручивать стоимость, можете быть уверены. Нужно поменять деньги - также команда отеля поможет по отличному курсу. Спрашивайте, не стесняйтесь! Местные вам все подскажут лучше интернета и chat gpt:) Если у вас запрос на спокойствие, или вы хотите провести несколько дней в романтике со своей второй половиной - шикарный вариант. Очень прошу присматривать за собачками, какие они прекрасные и полные любви и доброты. Спасибо вам большое! Максимальная любовь!

К сожалению, вай-фай иногда плохо работает, но команда при проблеме старается это быстро решать.

Das Beste Hotel, welches wir in 10 Tagen an der Ostküste hatten. Extrem saubere Zimmer und Gartenanlage. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es organisierte auch eine Schnorcheltour auf Pigeon Island, wo uns ein Privatboot direkt an dem unglaublich schönen und einsamen Privatstrand, ca 50m vom Hotel entfernt, abholte. Wenn man Ruhe sucht, hier findet man sie gewiss. Das Frühstück und auf Wunsch das Abendessen ist sehr sehr gut. Bei Ankunft wurde uns sofort ein sehr guter Melonensaft angeboten und zum Abendessen gab es einen Gin Tonic aufs Haus.

歩いて1、2分には、犬(おとなしい)2匹と我々以外誰もいなかった。日中は暑すぎるが、カバナがあり風もあるので、朝、夕は心地よく、散歩にも最適。施設は、必要なものは揃っているが、何か高級なものを求める人には適さないかもしれない。pick me が有効なので、レストランの集まる中心地に行くのもtuktukに乗れば、10分くらいなので不自由はない。スタッフは総じて親切。

Ho appena trascorso due giorni al Regina Beach Bungalow. Un posto fantastico! Pochi bungalow con una bella veranda immersi in un giardino pieno di fiori, piante e con alcuni lettini e amache per il relax. Colazione e cena vengono servite direttamente in veranda, in totale privacy. Camere accoglienti, spaziose, pulite e ravvivate da alcuni “batik”. Personale gentile e premuroso. A pochi metri il mare e la spiaggia a perdita d’occhio, praticamente deserti. Il mare è perfetto per il bagno ma non adatto allo snorkeling per il fondale mosso Giudizio super positivo.

Struttura bellissima, con staff estremamente cordiale, vicina ad una spiaggia bellissima e con cibo e colazione molto buoni. La struttura è leggermente fuori dal caos di Uppuveli ma il centro è raggiungibile in pochi minuti di tuktuk e l’app PickMe funziona benissimo. Per noi l’aspetto più bello sono i due cagnolini dolcissimi fuori dalla struttura (Lucky e probabilmente sua mamma). Per favore, prendetevene sempre cura.

à 50 mètres de la plage , petit hôtel très propre , Les bungalows sont dans un grand jardin tropical très fleuri. Plage 4 zones de transats réservées pour l'hôtel (et rien a droite ou a gauche sur 1km) L'impression d'être seuls au monde. A noter que tout le personnel est particulièrement attentionné. Bien comprendre que le Regina est entre Upuvelli et Nilavelli Beach donc c'est agréablement calme mais il faut prendre un tuk tuk (appli pick me) (mini 15 minutes) pour rejoindre les zones touristiques avec leurs bars, restaurants où les tarifs bord de mer sont élevés. Merci a toute l'équipe qui s'efforce de maintenir propre la propriété mais aussi la plage. Ce qui est loin d'être le cas sur Nilavelli ou Trinco. Nous avons aussi fait un diner au Regina; c'était très bon et très, très , très copieux.

comme tout le front de mer, le tarif est nettement plus élevé que partout où nous sommes allés au Sri Lanka.

Si tratta di 4 bungalow circondati da fiori e piante da cocco. La spiaggia si trova a 50 Metri dove sono a disposizione lettini con tetto in paglia e doccia. La spiaggia è completamente a nostra disposizione, parlo di 1 km di sabbia, mare pulito e balneabile senza problemi. Silenzio assoluto anche la sera perché si trova in una stradina isolata. Per chi cerca silenzio e relax questo è il posto giusto. Nello stesso tempo in 5 minuti di tuc tuc si raggiungono i locali di Trincomalee. Ma per chi ama il pesce alla griglia, non perdete l’occasione di mangiare in struttura! Ottima Grigliata di pesce e giusto prezzo! Il personale poi è gentilissimo, sempre sorridente e a completa disposizione. I bungalow sono puliti, 2 bottiglie di acqua tutti i giorni gratuite e minibar con l’occorrente. Si può cenare con birra; il vino lo vendono vicino nei wine shop sulla strada principale. Ti danno gli asciugamani per la spiaggia e per colazione frutta, uova formaggio pane marmellata e burro, frullato di frutta. Volendo organizzano anche le escursioni in mare.

We had very nice spacious bungalow, just a few steps from the beach. A special appreciation to very attentive staff of this hotel, very caring and trying to make you feel good. We loved the food they prepared for us, specially the fish was so fresh and so tasty!

Ha decisamente superato le nostre aspettative, le foto di booking non rendono giustizia. La camera era molto pulita e spaziosa. Wifi presente anche se un po debole. Accesso diretto alla spiaggia

Lo staff non parla molto bene inglese, per pagamenti e comunicazioni dovevamo rivolgersi al manager, che non era sempre presente. Se volete fare la cena consiglio di avvisare per tempo.

Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft mit geräumigen, sauberen Zimmern sowie einem tollen Garten mit Hängematten und Liegen. Auf der Terrasse vor dem Zimmer wird das Frühstück und Abendessen serviert. Beides sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Den traumhaften Strand mit cabanas hatten wir nahezu für uns allein.

Einziger Nachteil ist die „Kirche“ in Hörweite der Unterkunft. Der Gottesdienst startet täglich lautstark vor 6 Uhr.

A small family-run business with incredibly friendly people. Clean rooms. It’s a bit tucked away, but just a few minutes by tuk-tuk to the town; in return, you get a magnificent, secluded beach (at least it was back in August 2026) with private sun loungers. Dinner is available and very good, though pricier than in town. They organized a snorkeling trip to Pigeon Island for us—picking us up right from the beach—and the boat cost only half of what the four of us would have paid at Divinguru. I highly recommend this place!

Wunderschöner, ruhiger Ort direkt am Meer Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Regina Beach Bungalow. Das absolute Highlight war für uns der traumhafte, menschenleere Strand – einfach herrlich und perfekt, um Ruhe und Natur zu genießen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch den wunderschönen, sehr gepflegten Garten. Dort stehen gemütliche Liegen, auf denen wir abends lagen und in den Sternenhimmel geschaut haben. Über uns raschelten die Kokospalmen im Wind und rundherum hörte man die Vögel zwitschern – einfach wunderschön und unglaublich entspannend. Unser Bungalow war sehr geräumig und ebenfalls wunderschön, und auch das Essen war sehr gut und liebevoll zubereitet. Für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und einen schönen Strand abseits des Trubels suchen, ist dieser Ort wirklich etwas Besonderes. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Emplacement au calme comme décrit dans de nombreux commentaires. La plage est à 50 mètres et elle est belle et déserte. Parfois pour les amoureux de tranquillité. L’animation et les restaurants sont seulement à 10 minutes de Tuk Tuk. La chambre est grande et conforme au photo. Bon petit déjeuné. Légèrement au dessus des tarifs habituels mais ok.

Wir hatten tolle vier Nächte in der Unterkunft. Man ist sehr privat, der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben auch den Strand sehr genutzt und waren dort fast ganz alleine. Dort hatten wir private Liegen und wurden sogar mit frischem Saft versorgt. Mit dem Tuk Tuk erreicht man in ca. 10 Minuten viele Restaurants und Bars. Aber auch das Essen in der Unterkunft war vielfältig und lecker. :)

Leider war der Strand wie an vielen Stellen in Trincomalee teilweise recht vermüllt.

Utrolig god service fra alt personalet. Arrangerede både snorkel-tur til Pigeon Island og transport til lufthaven til gode priser. Dejlig morgenmad serveret på egen veranda. Store værelser. Tæt på strand med egne pladser og meget få mennesker. Nemt med tuktuk at komme ind til Uppuveli.

Das Highlight ist der 1-2km breite Sandstrand, an dem wir teilweise fast alleine waren. Auch ansonsten steht Ruhe und Entspannung im großen Garten unter Palmen im Vordergrund. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Die Einsamkeit ist oftmals schön, aber dadurch fehlt auch Infrastruktur wie Shops, Bars, Restaurants.

A lovely hotel. The rooms are simple but very comfortable and clean. They each have their own amazing patio where meals are served. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was very kind and attentive. The beach is 2 minutes away with cabanas that belong to the hotel. It is secluded and feels almost private. Highly recommended

Very friend staff. Great location if you are wanting something more quiet. We pretty much had the entire beach to ourself every time we walked down. I like how they bring the food over to your room and eat outside your room. Makes it feel like you are eating at home.

It is a bit out of the main centre but we just ordered a tuktuk via pickme app which costs around 400 rupies.

Really lovely cottage, spotlessly clean, very kind staff, huge portions at dinner and breakfast superb.

Tout était parfait. La plage privée et les transats étaient réservés aux résidents du bungalow, et comme nous étions seulement deux, on se sentait vraiment privilégiés. Le personnel était exceptionnel et adorable.

Un peu loin du centre mais beaucoup de tuk tuk donc pas trop gênant

Es ist absolut empfehlenswert in jeder Hinsicht, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, wir waren super zufrieden mit dem tollen Personal, diese Mitarbeiter waren hauptverantwortlich für unseren unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. Die Lage war für uns perfekt und man hatte quasi einen eigenen Privatstrand. Auch das täglich nur für uns frisch zubereitete Essen war sagenhaft Lecker zu wirklich fairen Preisen, wir konnten sogar beobachten wie jeden Tag extra für uns eingekauft wurde um nur frisches Essen zu genießen. Gebt der Unterkunft definitiv eine Chance und lasst Euch nicht von der "Entfernung" zum Hauptort abschrecken, das lohnt sich hier absolut !! Nochmal dickes Danke an die Mitarbeiter, es war perfekt.

Lovely rooms located next to a private beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless and service on the terrace if wanted. We had a breakfast and dinner here which were both lovely with fab seafood and good coffee. Manager arranged trips directly from our beach which was great as we didn’t have to travel to nearby town for sea based trips like dolphin watching and snorkelling.

The property is quite isolated so if you want to explore the area you need to travel around a minimum 15minutes, but tuk tuk were readily available and always very responsive so not really a problem. If you are looking for quiet then this isn’t a negative at all.

Wunderschöne Anlage und großzügige, saubere Bungalows mit guter Ausstattung. Das leckere Frühstück wurde auf der eigenen Terrasse serviert und alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr, sehr freundlich. Der Strand ist nur ein paar Schritte entfernt (aber liegt nicht direkt am Strand). Wir haben einen sehr zuverlässigen Tuktuk-Fahrer und eine Tour vermittelt bekommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Bungalows sind etwas abgelegen. Man ist zwar mit dem Tuktuk in 10 Minuten in Uppuveli mit Restaurants, Geldautomat und Läden - aber zu Fuß in der direkten Umgebung ist keine Infrastruktur. Perfekt, wenn man einmal Ruhe vom Trubel sucht.

We had a very comfortable 4 nights stay at this quiet and secluded place. The bungalows are spacious. The garden is very beautiful and well maintained. Having breakfast at the porch every morning is definitely a great way to start the day, it was so relaxing. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. They not only gave us great hints about the environment but also helped us arranging some activities. A stunning wide sand beach was just a few steps away. We really enjoyed our stay at Regina Bungalows.

The place is a little far from Uppuveli but you can easily go there with a tuk-tuk at a cheap price in 5-7 minutes. It is very easy to get a tuk-tuk either via “pick me” app, or with the help of hotel staff (same for the return). Average price for one way tuk-tuk is circa 1,5 USD to Uppuveli. On the other hand we started to think it is even better to be slightly away from the city centre chaos and noise.

Spacious room, beautifully kept private grounds with hammocks and sunbeds, very good shower, comfortable bed, friendly staff and an absolutely amazing dinner of grilled tuna and prawns, served with fried rice/noodles and very fresh garden salad. The serves were large.

Whilst the staff were friendly and kind, we found the manager to be a bit pushy and felt that he could treat the other staff better.

Puvan und der gesamte Staff sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Bungalows sind grosszügig und sehr sauber. Die Lage etwas ausserhalb ist sehr ruhig und der Strand mit wenigen Schritten erreichbar.

A little piece of paradise. Birds everywhere! Bungalows are large with so much room. The front porch is delightful, perfect for enjoying delicious breakfasts and dinners served by the wonderful staff.

We loved everything. The staff are marvelous, the accommodation is so comfortable and the area is stunning, beautiful well maintained gardens and a fabulous beach all to yourself on your doorstep. The food is the best we have had in Sri Lanka and we would like to thank the ladies that cooked it.

Die Bungalows und die Anlage im Regina Beach lassen für einen ruhigen Aufenthalt fast direkt am Strand keine Wünsche offen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und die Mitarbeiter waren überaus engagiert. Die Bungalows waren sehr sauber und das Essen hervorragend.

Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Wir würden empfehlen, die Bungalows bzw. Betten noch mit Mückennetzen auszustatten oder anzubieten, da die Mücken leider ihren Weg nach drinnen finden.

Ich habe den Aufenthalt im Regina Beach sehr genossen und bekam ein upgrade für ein wunderschönes, grosses Zimmer. Es ist eine wunderschöne, feine kleine Anlage in einem gepflegten und sehr schönen Garten und liegt fast direkt am Strand. Am Strand hat es Liegen, welche zum Regina Beach gehören. Das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen ist liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und ich habe mich sofort wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Der öffentliche Strand wird gerne von jungen Männern zum abhängen genutzt.

Die beste Unterkunft unserer Sri Lanka Rundreise. Es war einfach alles perfekt, die Lage, die Mitarbeiter, der private Strand und die Zimmer. Die Mitarbeiter erkundigen sich immer, ob es einem gut geht und alles ok ist. Sie sind sehr herzlich und erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch. Bedingt durch die Größe der Anlage und die geringe Anzahl an Zimmern kann man hier auch wunderbar einfach mal seine Ruhe finden. Der Weg nach Uppuveli ist mit dem Tuktuk auch kein Problem. Wir können jedem einfach nur empfehlen, hier ein paar Tage zu entspannen.

Уютный спокойный отель в локальной деревне, недалеко от Тринкомали. Если есть скутер, то все супер. Будет и тишина по ночам и в 10 мин езды все кафе, йога, бары и активности.

Местный пляж с большой волной и глубиной, но это не имеет отношения к отелю.

The staff were extremely friendly and always helpful. The accommodation was very clean and the breakfast was delicious and well-balanced. The location is perfect for the beach, which is only a 3-minute walk away. There are also sun loungers on the beach that guests are welcome to use. The rooms are air-conditioned. Guests can also relax in the garden and use the hammocks. All in all, a great vacation spot for quiet and relaxing days.

We absolutely loved everything about this property. The location was so secluded and we basically had our own private beach. The staff were so so lovely and wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for nicer people!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour de 4 nuits au Regina. Le logement est spacieux, confortable et impeccablement propre. L’emplacement est idéal : à seulement 100 mètres d’une superbe plage déserte, et à quelques minutes de tuk-tuk des bars et restaurants d’Upuvelli. Le personnel, à l’image de Regina, est d’une gentillesse rare : toujours souriant, détendu et à l’écoute. Le jardin, parfaitement entretenu, avec ses hamacs à l’ombre des cocotiers, invite à la détente. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la qualité des repas, aussi bien le petit déjeuner que le dîner. Tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour un séjour paisible et ressourçant.

Petit coin de paradis avec plage privée et le personnel est adorable ! Vous pouvez manger sur place à condition de commander quelques heures avant car tout est acheté en fonction de votre commande.

We liked all, to be honest. Regina and her staff are so kind, helpful and friendly. The room was big and clean, well working air conditioning and no mosquitos at all !! The meals we ordered there were fabulous and every time fresh prepared. The beach is like 100mt away from the bungalow, and it is just a wonderful beach, almost private (you can maybe meet 10 people per day or less). The garden around the accommodation is so well maintained and full of trees and flowers. You can relax on the beach under the private cabana or at the garden on the hammocks. Is true that there is a cemetery close to the property, but it is nothing that bothers you at all. They also have a night guard at the gate. We can absolutely 💯 recommend this place if you are visiting Trinco and want to relax in a peaceful place, avoiding the crowds.

Alloggiare nei pochi bungalow di Regina è una esperienza molto rilassante. Dal primo momento si ha la sensazione di essere in famiglia. La struttura è semplice ma curata, il giardino in comune è spazioso e piacevole. Il pesce alla griglia di Regina è il top assoluto. Colazione con materie freschissime e deliziose. Una parentesi di relax imperdibile per un viaggio in Sri Lanka. Spiaggia praticamente deserta, da godersi in solitudine.

Il nostro bungalow era poco luminoso, niente carte di credito (solo cash o Paypal).

La nostra esperienza al Regina Beach Bungalow è stata davvero splendida. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti con latte di cocco fresco, un gesto semplice ma che ci ha fatto subito sentire a casa. Il giardino è curatissimo e i 5 bungalow sono spaziosi, pulitissimi e arredati con gusto. Regina e il suo staff sono stati di una gentilezza straordinaria per tutta la durata del soggiorno. La colazione, servita direttamente in bungalow, è stata ogni mattina una sorpresa: frutta fresca eccezionale, ottimo caffè, pane con marmellata, uova cucinate in vari modi… qualsiasi desiderio viene accolto e preparato al momento. La struttura si affaccia su una spiaggia privata, molto tranquilla, delimitata da un piccolo cimitero che paradossalmente contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera di pace. La spiaggia è attrezzata con cabana e lettini riservati, oltre a una doccia comodissima. Abbiamo anche avuto la possibilità di cenare direttamente ai bungalow: Regina ci ha cucinato aragoste, gamberi, tonno, calamari e altri piatti di pesce freschissimo, cucinati in maniera sublime. Probabilmente il miglior pesce che abbiamo mai mangiato. La serata è cominciata con un graditissimo gin tonic offerto da Regina stessa. Il personale è stato molto disponibile anche nell’organizzare escursioni: da segnalare la gita in barca con partenza dalla spiaggia privata, per fare snorkeling sull’isola vicina con attrezzatura fornita direttamente da loro. Per il resto, tutto perfetto: ospitalità calorosa, location incantevole, servizi impeccabili. Un posto che consigliamo senza esitazione e in cui torneremmo volentieri.

Se proprio devo segnalare un piccolo aspetto meno positivo (non legato alla struttura, ma a una consuetudine locale), la domenica mattina verso le 5.30 inizia la messa, diffusa con microfoni in tutto il villaggio e accompagnata da canti fino circa alle 8: può sorprendere chi non se lo aspetta

Abbiamo soggiornato 5 notti in questa struttura al termine di un viaggio di due settimane trovando vero relax e comfort. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato la pulizia e bellezza della stanza, il patio privato dove poter fare buonissime colazioni oltre che cenare con pesce fresco quando non ci siamo mossi verso la vicina Uppuveli (5 minuti di tuktuk), infine avere praticamente a disposizione una spiaggia privata di chilometri con vari gazebo della struttura oltre che una comoda doccia. Una menzione particolare oltre che al manager della struttura e le persone dello staff sempre cordiali , va ai simpaticissimi proprietari che erano in struttura nel nostro stesso periodo..Regina sei unica !

A warm and pleasant welcome. The rooms, set within a beautiful private garden, were spotless and very comfortable. Waking up in the morning to nothing but birdsong made the stay feel truly special, a perfect retreat in nature. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and spoke good English. Other than that, the hotel has a wonderful private beach right in front of it. The city center is just 10 minutes away by tuk-tuk. If you are looking for a quiet, clean place surrounded by nature, this is the right choice.

Our only issue was that the property accepts only cash. Unfortunately, our bank cards didn’t work and it was difficult to access cash, as credit cards were not accepted.

Fantastische locatie. Direct aan het prachtige strand, dat je door de rustige ligging ook nog eens voor jezelf hebt. Tegelijkertijd slechts 10 tuktuk-minuten van het levendige Udduveli. Superleuke bungalow en vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Jammer dat we maar 2 nachten bleven.

Erg vriendelijk personeel. Prima ontbijt-, lunch- en dineropties. Vlak bij heel rustig en prachtig strand. Staan overdekte bedjes met kussens voor de gasten. 10 minuten rijden van drukkere gedeeltes met meer restaurants.

Let op de manager is een oneerlijke man!! Hij is niet gastvrij en niet vriendelijk! We zijn echt afgezet met een excursie doordat we opeens achteraf nog apart moesten bij betalen. Je kan alleen cash betalen en dat is erg onhandig met de hoge bedragen die je hier betaald. Het ontbijt is lekker maar duur. Alles is hier stuk duurder. Huisje mooi Ander personeel is wel vriendelijk!

Het is een mooi klein complex met 5 mooie ruime huisjes. Vlakbij het strand waar niemand is. Een trip voor snorkelen of dolfijnen spotten is zo geregeld.

Het ligt een beetje uit de stad maar met een tuktuk ben je voor 800 lkr zo in Uppuveli, het gebied met veel bars en restaurants.

It’s a bit away of everything. Owner was the exception to the sri lankan smile (maybe he had just a bad day) but ladies and staff very friendly.

Een heerlijke relaxte plek. De huisjes zijn super ruim, schoon met goede airco. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor de eerste dag was een tour naar Pigeon Island geregeld en we konden opstappen op de boot bij het strand voor de accomodatie. Fijn dat je op je eigen terras kunt eten. Het eten is iets duurder dan elders, maar heel goed. Het strand is op nog geen 100 meter en heb je meestal voor jezelf met fijne bedjes en een douche. We hebben een fijne tijd gehad.

Het was voor ons geen probleem, maar je zit wat verder van restaurantjes en bezienswaardigheden af. Wij gebruikten de pick-me app om tuktuks te bestellen en die stonden altijd binnen 10 minuten voor de deur. Werkte perfect. En waar je even aan moet denken, is dat je ontbijt, lunch of diner van te voren voor een bepaald tijdstip moet doorgeven. Wij waren dit een paar keer vergeten maar konden het toen via Whats app doorgeven. Wij hoopten voor de deur te kunnen snorkelen, maar daar was niks te zien. Net als in Nilaveli. Meer ter info, geen kritiek op het hotel.

Valitsimme paikan, koska edellisinä vuosina käydessämme Trincossa olimme majoittuneet turistien suosimilla alueilla, ja kaipasimme omaa rauhaa. Löysimme paikan vahingossa edellisenä vuonna ja päätimme heti, että kun seuraavan kerran tulemme Trincoon, majoitumme täällä - ja se kannatti! Vietimme Regina Beach Bungalowssa viisi yötä ja nautimme erityisesti juuri omasta rauhasta ja upeasta, täysin hiljaisesta hiekkarannasta! Meillä oli käytössä oma auto, joten syrjäinen sijainti ei haitannut meitä ollenkaan - päinvastoin! Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä, huone viihtyisä ja suuri sekä tahrattoman puhdas. Loistava paikka!

Prachtige kamer met een mooie overdekte veranda waarnemingen kon zitten en ontbijt en diner werd geserveerd. Op 3.minuten lopen van het strand. Trincomallee plus minus een kwartier met tuktuk.

Bungalow très propre et spatieux dans un très jolie jardin. Hotel à taille humaine, personnel au petit soins, possibilité de partir à pigeon island directement de la plage, on recommande. (c est cher mais ça en vaut clairement la peine, tortues et requins de 2 m) Pancake aux fruits le matin, juste exellent! Le poisson était délicieux et si généreux bien cuit avec des légumes, on recommande! La plage juste en face est propre avec des transats réserve pour l hôtel. La plage est déserte, pas de touristes, vous avez votre plage prive rien que pour vous! Localisation parfaite, 10 min de tuktuk( 2€ avec pickme) jusque tous les restos à upevili, et bar de plage. Lieux paradisiaque, que vous allez regretter de quitter!

Very friendy manager and staff. We had an accident and he helped us a lot and even came to the hospital. Pretty villas, nice beach with beds. Arranges nice things to do.

A bit far from main town

Chambre triple spacieuse et propre. Bonne literie, sdd ok. Beau jardin. Proximité de la plage, très jolie et vide, un bonheur. Bonne restauration sur place sur la terrasse de votre chambre. 3 lits de plage installés pour les clients du Regina Beach.

Nous n'avons pas trouvé l'accueil très chaleureux même si au final le personnel est gentil. Air co bruyant. Pdj chers.

Výborná byla blízkost soukromé pláže se zastíněnými lehátky, kde jsme byli sami. Velmi dobré bylo i jídlo, které jsme si mohli objednat v průběhu dne. No a dokonalý a ochotnÿ manažer, který dokáže i nemožné. Děkujeme:-)

Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen. Die Abgeschiedenheit ist hier allerdings eines der großen Stärken. Irgendwo sonst in Sri Lanka war es so still und friedlich wie hier. Insbesondere wenn man mal eine Auszeit vor den Tuc Tucs usw brauch. Ist die Unterkunft zu empfehlen. Wir mieteten uns direkt beim Inhaber ein Roller, mit dem wir dann immer in die Stadt zum Essen / Tauchen fuhren. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Meer ist ca. 2 min zu Fuß entfernt und ist ausgezeichnet zum Schwimmen. Das Hotel verfügt am Strand über Liegen, sodass man das Meer und die Ruhe perfekt genießen kann.

The place has a relaxed, authentic charm and is located right by the beach – perfect for unwinding. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional service. The owner is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about his guests. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and shared great tips about the area. The food was absolutely outstanding – probably the best we had in Sri Lanka! Everything was freshly prepared, full of flavor, and made with love. We looked forward to every meal. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot with personal hospitality, great vibes, and top-notch food, we highly recommend Regina Beach Bungalow. We would definitely come back!

This was our favourite accommodation after a month travelling through the beautiful country of Sri Lanka. There is everything to love about this property, plus more. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and so well maintained. Our room was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were so kind and very attentive, always taking the time to chat to our toddler. The private section of beach is a 2 minute walk out the front of the property and is pristine with clear blue water and soft white sand, absolute heaven. The main street is a 10 minute drive away and can be reached by tuk tuk. The tranquil location of the property is definitely worth the short drive to and from. If you find yourself in Trincomalee, do yourself a favour and spend some time at Regina Beach Bungalow, you won't regret it. Sehr großes sauberes Zimmer, Lage direkt am eigenen verlassenen Strand mit Liegen. Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und immer zur Stelle.

Das Frühstück war vergleichsweise recht teuer.

We liked everything about this accommodation. It is in a paradisiacal area, the staff is very attentive and helpful. The food is incredible, I recommend that you eat at the accommodation because you can enjoy the typical food. They also help you book activities with local people. The beach is magnificent, in addition the dogs there are very friendly, especially Juli is a very special dog that you can see on the beach and if you are there you can feed her and she is very grateful :) My whole stay was excellent!

Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber, sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Und die Lage am Meer ist unschlagbar - man hat eine Bucht für sich alleine. Auf Essenswünsche wird eingegangen.

Wir mussten leider täglich, teils mehrfach, das Personal suchen: ob wir Nachfragen hatten, Frühstückszeiten absprechen wollten, Unterstützung bei den Strandmatten brauchten oder zahlen wollten. Das war leider sehr nervig. Und im Verhältnis zu anderen Unterkünften auf Sri Lanka ist es doch hochpreisig zu dem, was man bekommt (sowohl Ausstattung als zb auch Essenspreise).

Awesome location at a beautiful lonely beach. The bungalows and the garden are really cozy. Staff provided highest service level at all times.

We had aunts and geckos in our bungalow and also the smaller room we moved to later. The staff was highly supportive to remove the animals. Compared to other hotels value for money was low.

Set about 130m from the beach, this was exactly what I was looking as part of my short stay in Trincomalee. It's a short tuk-tuk ride into central Trincomalee, should you wish to visit the main town and local areas. The Regina has number of cabana's around the edge of a wonderful, well kept and established garden. A very short walk to the beach, which was stunning, and being low season was quiet. I probably saw more cows than people during a 3km beach walk. I chose breakfast as part of my booking and it was wonderful, setting me up for the day. Just sitting on the veranda and watching the local wildlife in the morning was incredible, and the palm squirrels are great entertainment for a piece of papaya. My room was spotless, the bathroom big and the shower perfect and the fridge/mini bar was well received. The Regina offers a great menu and I chose to have both lunch and dinner here each day. Puvan was a great host, and the supporting team wonderfully polite and helpful. They have a number of covered beach beds as well, alternatively chill in the garden on a sun bed or even a hammock. A wonderful stay, I am happy to recommend the REGINA BEACH resort based on my own personal experience.

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame manager, regelde onze uitstappen naar de dolfijnen en pigeon island, en we werden afgehaald aan het ‘privé’ strand op 20 m van hotel met boot. Zeer proper en ruime kamer met een prachtige tuin. zeer rustige omgeving, strand is schitterend, je waant je op ee privé eiland, echt voor de meerwaarde zoekers. Uppuveli op korte afstand met tuk tuk voor 3€ of avontuurlijke wandeling langs strand bij laag water. zeer lekker ontbijt, lunch en avondeten mogelijk en was zeker ok.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Resort in Strandnähe Das Resort besticht durch seine geschmackvoll eingerichteten und äußerst sauberen Bungalows, die sich in einer gepflegten Gartenanlage befinden. Der Strand ist fast unmittelbar in der Nähe und lädt zu entspannten Spaziergängen ein. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt, mit Hängematten, in denen man nachts unter Palmen die Glühwürmchen beobachten kann – ein echtes Highlight. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich, und wir würden diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der eine ruhige Lage am Meer abseits des Trubels sucht. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet – echter deutscher Kaffee.

Das Resort liegt etwas außerhalb, sodass man für Besuche in nahegelegenen Restaurants und Bars meist ein Tuk-Tuk benötigt

Wir hatten hier einen unglaublich tollen Aufenthalt. 1 Minute fußläufig mit Beachbeds reserviert für Gäste am Strand. Diesen hatten wir quasi für uns alleine. Der Strand ist sehr sauber und schön. Im Meer konnte man super schwimmen. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns die Auflagen für den Strand immer direkt gebracht. Bier gab es auf Nachfrage sogar in einer Kühlmanschette für den Strand. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Zu Abend haben wir hier nicht gegessen, das Frühstück war aber lecker.

Am ersten Tag waren die Hunde am Strand ein wenig aufdringlich, als wir direkt im Sand lagen. Das kann aber überall passieren, von daher kein wirklicher Kritikpunkt.

Alles! Es war wirklich alles perfekt und wir haben jetzt schon einige Unterkünfte gesehen. Es hat wirklich von A bis Z alles perfekt gepasst. Die Mitarbeitenden waren zu 100 Prozent immer so lieb und so zuvorkommend. Der Service war einfach 100/10! Das Essen war so lecker, dass wir gar nicht nach anderem Essen geschaut haben. Es ist zwar etwas teurer als andere Hotels, aber es lohnt sich wirklich. Wir waren 5 Tage dort und gefühlt hätten wir am liebsten die gesamte Reise dort verbracht 😂 3 Tage waren wir alleine dort. Der Strand vor der Tür direkt ist paradiesisch und es gibt dort Betten für die Gäste - wir konnten da so gut entspannen. Zudem sind die Mitarbeitenden dort so aufmerksam, dass sie zwei mal aus dem Hotel rauskamen, als sie Motorräder gehört haben und haben direkt nach uns gesehen. Ich will gar nicht zu überschwänglich sein, aber es war wirklich so schön und wir waren richtig traurig, als die Zeit um war. Wenn Du nach Trincomalee möchtest, buche unbedingt dort!

The room is worth the price. The breakfast was not in our offer, but good nevertheless. As an element of improvement, some items on the menu are too expensive for swhat they are (sandwich, pancakes, etc.)

Beautiful beach and gorgeous bungalows with garden, our room was clean and had all the amenities. Food was delicious and general staff pleasant enough. If you want to lie on a private beach all day away from the resorts then this is a great spot.

Quite off the beaten track, I wouldn't come here alone as it had a slightly strange vibe.
