Very pleasant staff, general cleanliness. A little extra reinvest every year. Quietness of "Adults Only" Marco. Lovely variety of seating areas.

Only -ve, the "towel police" still rankles - with other guests as well. Not talking of "bed blocking" for a whole day, but when personal possessions, inc shoes, books, clothes, all lifted before 11am. (I was returning a rental to the airport as quickly as possible.) Not a good look for a hotel that prides itself on guest loyalty. And - for the size of the complex - one bed / guest shouldn't be a problem. Since "walk-ins" are now controlled.

Hotel magnifique , j'ai adoré les nombreuses piscines, sa position face à la plage La chambre était spacieuse avec une jolie petite terrasse vue piscine La demi-pension est correcte ( bon petit-déjeuner , le soir c'était moyen , il y a de la quantité mais pas trop de qualité)

J'ai moins apprécié la salle de bain ouverte où l'on est réveillé par la personne qui se lève plus tôt Repas du soir moyen , il y a de la quantité et du choix mais il manque vraiment de la qualité je trouve , peu de choses avaient de la saveur . Mais malgré tout ça reste un bon moment

All staff were professional, pleasant and polite from check in to check out. The hotel was spotless, smelt amazing was clean, tidy and fresh. All amenities were well signed and easy to find.

Breakfast and the swimming pool were great, and the service and support were great. Very convenient and right by the beach.

We requested a double bed, and we were given 2 singles even though we asked.

Vriendelijkheid van het persoon in de restaurants. Eten word letterlijk en figuurlijk op je bord gegooid. Kwaliteit van het eten was ook verschrikkelijk. Elke dag hetzelfde en wat er aan variatie was was slecht bereid. Een bakplaat vol hamburgers en allemaal zwart gebakken, dat is een kunst.

It was second year I stay at this hotel during my vacation. I appreciate the clean room and fresh air in room, the food ir absolutely delicious, the exterior is breath takking specially in night, magical, location in very convenient.

I am very sad that staff raised a voice on me and my friend. The guard of the hotel was screaming on us in Spanish and I do not understand Spanish and he was very aggressive and was threatening me that we will follow me in security cameras. I felt very unsecure, was not sure if I can feel secure at hotel, and I felt very disrespected as a human beeing, also I felt embarassed in front of my friend that I stay in hotel where I am treated in this very unprofessional disrespectful way. I also was wondering if its because of my sexual orientation. I am solo traveler as I am single and during vacation I wanted to meet a nice person and bring to my room. On 22nd August arround 9:00 in the morning we were entering hotel through Don Pablo entrance. At hotel entrance guard asked if me and my friend are residents and after finding out that i am but my friend was not resident, the guard started to screem on us in Spanish and even knowing that I am an existing guest of the hotel did not talk to me in English and did not address me but screemed on my friend. After a moment of uncontrolled unstructured screaming I asked to stop it, that I do not understand, and that I need to get to reception to check-in my friend. Then the guard screemed all over lobby that he will follow me in security cameras (at least that is what my friend who is Spanish speaker understood). When I reached reception of Don Marco my friend was checked-in as my second room mate for the rest of my stay only for additional 15 EUR. I dont understand why guard of the hotel screams on arriving guests, that was very dissturbing, unprofessional and is still rising questions, e.g. why guard did not talk with me in English so I can understand and can answer questions as I was existing guest ? Is it general attitude toward arriving guests that before you get to reception desk, guard will traumatise guests ? Why guard did not advise us to go to reception and check-in the arriving guest ?

El hotel como otras veces que hemos ido, está muy bien situado y todo es correcto, pero este año hemos tenido algunas cosas que otros año no que nos han hecho bajar su valoración.

Que haya que pagar cada vez que cambias la toalla de piscina. Que los primeros días no hubiera servicio de desayuno en nuestro hotel y había que ir a uno de los que están al lado, que la limpieza de la habitación se hacía algunos días bastante tarde y además en muchos casos no era correcta, papeles en el suelo, toallas arrugadas.... y por último fue imposible encontrar parking en el hotel y no nos ofrecieron la posibilidad del parking de los otros hoteles que están juntos

la colazione è abbondante ma è difficile trovare qualcosa di veramente buono. Tutto fatto per le masse, lontano da quello che uno si aspetta da un 4 stelle. La posizione è bella e è vicino al mare, ma lontano dal centro vero della città e dalla prima ascensore. Il minibar era vuoto. Niente acqua niente cibo. Non da 4 stelle.

Abbiamo avuto le formiche in camera. Quando erano troppe lo abbiamo fatto notare. Ci hanno detto che avrebbero fatto loro il trattamento la sera stessa, sarebbe bastato stare fuori un'ora. Al nostro rientro (dopo 4 ore) la camera era impraticabile e puzzava di chimico. Tanto che abbiamo chiamato la reception e ci hanno dato un'altra stanza per la notte: per fare tutto questo è passata un'ora abbondante e siamo andati a letto alle 4. Il giorno dopo ho chiesto di parlare col manager. Mi hanno mandato una stagista che mi ha detto che mi avrebbero ricontattato. Nessuno mi ha ricontattato. Ho chiesto di nuovo il giorno dopo. Mi hanno fatto parlare con un altro stagista. Ho insistito. Alla fine ho parlato con una donna molto scortese. Ho chiesto una sorta di rimborso di quella notte. Mi ha detto che mi avrebbe scritto una email che non è mai arrivata. Unica cosa non mi hanno fatto pagare 20 euro di check out che trovo quasi umiliante su 1550 euro di soggiorno. Quindi poco cortesi, molto lontano da un 4 stelle, e decisamente troppo caro per quello che offre.

Que para personas con movilidad reducida no te facilitan reservar plaza de aparcamiento hasta que llegas al hotel y cuando llegas si están ocupadas te tienes que buscar la vida,y las hamacas de la piscinas no había reservas para minusvalidos y teníamos que estar sentados en una silla

Hotel ótimo, moderno, confortável, limpo, em frente à praia, com todas as comodidades. Gostei do facto de podermos usufruir dos espaços dos hotéis ao lado, até porque o Don Marco não possui sala de refeição. Destaco o facto de nos terem deixado usar um quarto (mediante reserva prévia) para tomar banho mesmo depois do check-out efetuado. Recomendo!

Ubicación en primera linea de playa, y piscinas de solo adultos si quieres más tranquilidad. Variedad de instalaciones y no solo incluye bebidas básicas en el todo incluido. El vino del TI podía tener alguna variedad más, pero en general muy bien.

Było nie posprzątane pod łóżkiem, ale po zwroceniu uwagi sprawdzali wszystkie pokoje po kolei, więc bardzo ok.

Las instalaciones parecen muy nuevas, pero las zonas de la piscina, tumbonas y detalles bastante dejado y sucio, la limpieza diaria de la habitación bastante escasa, las toallas del baño todos los días al cambiarlas todas con lamparones y manchurrones, incluso con pelos bastante desagradable, en recepción me queje de ello en dos ocasiones a la misma persona y su actitud bastante regulera, tuve que reclamar que eran las 4 de la tarde y no me habían hecho la habitación cuando la había dejado a las 11 y solo me pusieron excusas… poco detallistas para la pasta que te gastas en el hotel. La habitación bastante pequeña, aunque no ha habido demasiado ruido de las habitaciones contiguas, las limpiadoras a las 8 de la mañana ya hacían bastante ruido. NO es un hotel si vas a relajarte sin niños, en el desayuno vas al hotel de al lado a desayunar y hay niños, en la piscina de al lado niños jugando y gritando, hay sitios que pones que no pueden entrar menores de 16 pero no hay nadie controlando, la guerra de las toallas en las tumbonas supuestamente esta controlado por los socorristas y no ves pasar a ningún socorrista durante todo el día y un largo etc, la verdad que con el dinero que te cuesta no vale nada la pena

Das Zimmer war sehr schoen und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Balkon war auch sehr nett und man hatte eine schoene Aussicht auf Pool und Meer. Der Pool des Don Marco mit den Liegen war super, denn am Vormittag im Schatten und sehr erholsam. Die Musik war uns kurz nach unserer Ankunft zu laut, doch mit der Zeit hat man sich daran gewoehnt. Und viele Leute geniessen solche Events und daher ist es gut, dass es sie gibt.

Mir war der Fruehstuecksraum viel zu gross und viel zu laut. Wir haetten gerne einen eigenen Raum nur fuer Gaeste des Don Marco gehabt.

Big lovely clean hotel with lovely rooms and the breakfast choice was brilliant.

Too many people reserving sunbeds all day and then going out or leaving them unattended for long periods. Not enough umbrellas around the pool for shade if you wanted it.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful. After we reported a security-related incident, the hotel handled the situation professionally and kindly offered us a thoughtful gesture of goodwill, which we really appreciated. Their response showed that they genuinely care about their guests' experience.

I expected a true adults-only experience. Although the hotel itself is adults-oriented, the restaurants are shared with two other hotels in the same chain. As a result, meal times were often crowded and quite noisy, which reduced the peaceful atmosphere we were expecting. That said, it wasn't a major issue and it didn't significantly affect our overall enjoyment of the stay.

Nagyon jó elhelyezkedésű, szép szálloda, a reggeli és vacsora választékos. Az ágyak szuperek. Segítőkész, kedves személyzettel. Kedves gesztus volt az üdvözlőital, és mivel hajnalban indult a gépünk, a 02.30-as reggelizés lehetősége.

A nagy étterem zsúfolt, hangos, az étteremközeli mosdók koszosak, lelakottak. E tekintetben is jó választás volt a Don Marco szárny. A szobában hiányoltam a bekészített ásványvizet.

The bedroom was clean and tidy. Not great for being with a older teenage son as the bathroom facilities are open plan to the room so no privacy for using the bathroom, shower and toiler are a frosted glass door into the bedroom. Aircon system worked fine but smelt musty, so room did not smell good. But the room was comfy, clean tidy and modern.

breakfast was far too busy, food quality was lacking, not a single space around any pool, so just opted for the beach instead

Bardzo słabe jedzenie na linch i kolacje ale za tak mała dopłatę do HB warto dopłacić i korzystać. W cenie kolacji powinna być przynajmniej woda lub dostepna herbata. Prywatność łazienki w pokoju praktycznie nie istnieje.

La gentillesse des réceptionnistes et des femmes de chambres toujours disponibles et souriantes.

Les toilettes les odeurs insupportables car ce n’est pas une vraie salle de bains avec portes ! Le buffet du petit déjeuner midi et soir toujours la même nourriture sans saveur insipide très mal cuisinée ! La salle à manger beaucoup de bruit et le personnel pas sympathique du tout jamais un sourire !

Entertainment on an evening could have been better, different acts singing same songs

The entire SOL by Melia Torremolinos hotel complex is an absolutely perfect place to relax. The resort grounds are very spacious and feature several pools, so everyone can easily find their own ideal spot to unwind. The hotel also provided wonderful morning and evening entertainment, which was a great addition and really made our stay even more fun. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean and very modern. They came equipped with everything we needed, including a fridge, a tea-making station, reliable Wi-Fi, and a large flat-screen TV. The food was very good - both the breakfasts and dinners were of a very high standard. Everything looked beautiful and tasted incredibly fresh. Dinners were especially great, offering great variety with different live cooking stations every day and wonderful themed national cuisines. Another huge plus is the hotel's location! It is situated perfectly, right next to Bajondillo Beach and along a lovely promenade filled with little shops and bars. Additionally, the hotel staff were incredibly nice, friendly, and always eager to help.

My only slight disappointment was the sunbeds reservation issue. Even though there are many sunbeds available, guests often leave towels on them for hours without actually using them, making it hard to find a spot to relax. While the hotel has a clear policy against this, it doesn't seem to be enforced by the staff - I only saw unattended towels removed once during our whole week. Enforcing this rule would be a great area for improvement and would make an already wonderful hotel even better!

La proximité de la plage, la propreté et le confort du lit. Le distributeur du hall est très apprécié.

La séparations toilette manques d'intimité. Juste une plaque de verre mat. Les boissons du bar peuvent être améliorées. Le changement de serviette de plage est payant même au bout de 3 jours. Le buffet déjeuner/dîner est très cher 54€ pour 2 personnes hors boissons.

Speisesaal zu groß, Flair einer Kantine, keine Tischdecke, keineStoffservietten, Abendessen langweilig, kaum spanischen Gerichte (Tapas etc.) Am letzten Tag lief zum Entsetzen vieler Gäste eine riesige große Küchenschabe über den Boden. Außerdem war das Besteck mehrmals nicht richtig sauber. Es kleben hart gewordene Speisereste dran.

Its location

It is overpriced for what it is. The chiselongues around the pool were taken over by some visitors from very early on (putting their towels on the chairs) although they would not be physically using them until much later. This was unfair to the other guests.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel e, nel complesso, l’esperienza è stata positiva. La pulizia era impeccabile, la posizione ottima e la zona davvero bella, comoda per visitare i dintorni e piacevole da vivere. L’unico aspetto che non ci ha convinti è stata la disposizione del bagno: il lavandino era direttamente in camera, senza alcuna possibilità di privacy, mentre WC e doccia erano separati ma poco isolati. Di conseguenza, si poteva vedere e sentire praticamente tutto. Per chi viaggia in coppia e ha molta confidenza potrebbe non essere un problema, ma per chi tiene alla propria privacy o non è in perfetta confidenza con il compagno di viaggio, consiglierei di valutare attentamente questo aspetto prima della prenotazione.

La tranquilidad del lugar (tener en cuenta que fue la 1ºsemana de mayo)

Los espectaculos musicales, si bien la mayoria de los turistas eran extranjeros, estabamos en España, y si viajaron a España tendrian que tener musica en lenguaje en Castellano basicamente. Tener en cuenta que el turista viajo a España no solo a descansar, si no tambien a conocer otra indosincracia.

The hotel is part of a complex of two hotels and three buildings. We thought we were staying at a hotel for adults, but that was only our smaller building. The bigger building caters to families and all facilities including pools (indoor and outdoor) and breakfast restaurant are shared. The breakfast dining area is huge, but not in a good way, it felt a bit like an airport terminal. There are misbehaved kids and unconcerned parents everywhere, letting their kids run around making noise without any concern for the other guests. If you want a quiet, cozy, and peaceful vacation, this is not the hotel for you

Zimmer ist sehr sauber und es gibt ein sehr großes Frühstücksbüfett. Von dem Hotel aus ist man sehr schnell am Meer und in die Innenstadt kommt man gut zu Fuß.

Leider hat der Safe im Zimmer nicht funktioniert.
