Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Matias fue un anfitrión fantástico. Resolviendo los problemas que fueron surgiendo, al debutar después de las vacaciones invernales, y nos dio buenas recomendaciones.
Fuimos en invierno y notamos que por la puerta entraba corriente de aire. La ducha y la cocina tuvieron un compartimiento caprichoso con el agua caliente, pero se solucionó al segundo día.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Matias provided all information, assistance and advices before and during my arrival. The accomodation is about 10min walk from bus station and max 10min walk to city centre. Kitchen is equipped quite okay for small cooking. Big towels really appreciated. Comfortable bed. Haidryer is available, so it is great. Food stores, reataurants and laundry room nearby.
Accomodation is very close to the road and connecting path with big windows facing them. So if you want to have some daylight be prepred people might see inside and watch you doing anything :). The heating works great, but there are two ventilation holes that are quite drafty, which is not very pleasant in a place where it is very windy. Pillows could be better - but this is my personal preference. A small clothes dryer would be great.

È stato comprensivo quando ci è stato cancellato il volo per arrivare a El Calafate e siamo arrivati il giorno dopo, perdendo quindi una notte, che non ci è stata addebitata (è stato super gentile). Ci ha dato consigli sulla città (che è adorabile e molto tranquilla). La stanza era pulita e fornita di tutti i servizi essenziali

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Emplacement sans charme mais proche du centre. Cabane agréable même si le lit dans la pièce commune pourrait être remplacé par un canapé afin de rendre l’endroit plus accueillant.
Salle de bain avec quelques problèmes d’eau chaude. Le fait qu’il n’est pas indiqué qu’il n’est pas possible de payer avec une carte (seulement pesos ou dollars). Peu d’isolation par rapport aux bruits extérieurs (mais c’est une cabane).

Possibilité de garer sa voiture. Hôte réactif, chauffage au gaz allumé lorsqu'on est arrivés, on s'est sentis bienvenus.
A part du sel et du thé, pas de condiments pour cuisiner, frigo un peu petit.

La posizione e' ottima x chi viaggia in bus: a meta' strada fra la stazione dei bus e il centro (tramite una serie di scale ti trovi direttamente in centro paese). Assolutamente da consigliare!!!!!

Located above the town, so you had to use the steps through the park, but it was right at the top. No further walking after the climb. Only a problem after a visit to the supermarket below.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026The location is good, as it is only 10min from bus station and 5/10 from the town center. The apartment is well equipped and in general is comfortable. Matias, the host, was very responsive and friendly.
The bed sheets had some hair, but Matias promptly offer to change them. I would also replace the pillows, as they already have some big stains from use. The bar chairs are not very comfortable.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2026This place is so comfortable and the location is perfect: near the bus terminal and just a staircase away from the town center. We really enjoyed our time here and Matías, our host, was very professional and always available. The studio had everything we needed and even some pluses like shampoo, conditioner and soap, which is not the case everywhere. It was spotless clean and the sheets smelled fresh. We definitely recommend it and would stay again :))

-Very difficult to regulate the room temperature: the gas heating, even set to the minimum, gets very hot. -Not very close to the town center, but still reachable with a walk of about 15 minutes.

Toalhas e roupa de cama poderiam ser melhores, bicama mau localizada em baixo da janela e a cama inferior estava pensa para um lado. Poderia ter taça p vinho.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025広くて明かりがたくさん入る部屋で、キッチンには必要なものが全て揃っていて快適に過ごしました。 特筆したいのは、バスルーム全体の照明に加えて、バスルームの鏡の真上にも照明があってとても明るくできたこと。 ただ、シャワーヘッドの位置がとても高い所にあって、背が低い自分のような人には大変かも。 また、部屋のTVは所謂スマートTVだったので、YouTubeなど色々観られるようになっていました。 立地は、町の中心ではなく、高台の、町の見晴し台のような場所のすぐ近くにあります。中心部へはそこから階段を下りたらすぐで便利ですし、近くに小規模のスーパーもあります。 バスターミナルからも歩いて行ける距離にあって便利ですが、スーツケースの場合は、舗装路を選ぶように。未舗装の道も結構あって、スーツケースを持ってそうした道を通るのは大変なので。 尚、リセプションがあるタイプの宿ではないので、鍵の受け渡しについて、オーナーとのやり取りが必要になります。Booking.com上でもメッセージのやりとりはできますが、WhatsAppの方が手っ取り早いです。 オーナーの方はすぐ答えてくれますし、親切でした。

Reviewed Dec 17, 2025we really really enjoyed our stay at cabañas aluen. first of all i was in constant communication with matías who was helpful throughout. the cabaña was clean, spacious and comfortable. there was a kitchenette with everything we needed and a great selection of teas. the bathroom was also spacious with a great shower. the wifi worked like a dream. the location is slightly off centre from libertador but this was not a problem at all as there is a series of steps leading to the town centre. all in all it’s great value for money and i strongly recommend cabañas aluen.

Il manque beaucoup de matériels de cuisine, comme des gangs de four, des bols pour manger de la soupe. Il n'y a qu'un seul ustensile pour cuisiner.

Reviewed Dec 7, 2025Sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Bequemes Bett. Empfehlenswert für 1-2 Personen ohne hohe Ansprüche.
Wir waren vier Tage im Aluen. Für drei Personen ist die Wohnung doch eher eng. Es gibt kaum Platz für das Gepäck, sodass man es am Boden platzieren musss und ständig darüber stolpert und/oder umplatzieren muss. Sehr unangenehm. die Ausstattung der Küche ist sehr bescheiden, das Schlafzimmer ist klein. Im Bad wäre genügend Platz vorhanden, wird aber nicht intelligent genutzt. Die Regulierung der Heizung bedarf eines feinen Händchens. Mit wenig Aufwand könnte man in dieser Unterkunft viel verbessern.

Matias was very attentive and answered all questions and was there immediately if a problem came up. Overall a great stay .
