Not the hotels fault but a couple of streets away is a red light area - lots of prostitutes and men in the street at around 10 at night. The city should clean this up - it invites the wrong kinds of tourists to the historical centre and to be honest I decided to stay elsewhere for the rest of my trip/

The only downside of this hotel is its location. At nights it’s really really noise due to the bars and the general area making it almost impossible to sleep even with earplugs.

Personale davvero gentile, in seguito alle cancellazioni dei voli dopo il terremoto mi hanno proposto di modificare le date del soggiorno in modo che potessi arrivare il giorno dopo il previsto senza perdere la prenotazione e senza pagare la notte non sfruttata. Colazione buona
Scale per salire su avendo il passeggino e valigie pesanti . Il letto matrimoniale era un po' più piccolo del solito.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026L’emplacement hyper central dans le quartier historique est vraiment le point fort de l’hôtel. Le calme dans les chambres donnant côté réception et cour intérieure alors que le quartier est bruyant.
L’absence de véritable fenêtre dans ces chambres ( mais ce qui permet le calme). La salle de bain très petite. Déco un peu vieillissante. Petit déjeuner vraiment pas terrible.

Não possui ar condicionado no local do café da manhã e na recepção, calor fica extremo, se não se importar de tomar café da manhã suando, tudo certo, café bem gostoso. A água do chuveiro é muito fraca, local bem barulhento, para quem tem dificuldade em dormir com barulho, pode ser um problema.

NOISE!!!! Noise from their machinery ran most of the day. It was like staying in an airplane wind tunnel. Extremely loud. THEN … in the evening the restaurant Nextdoor placed electronic music till after 3 in the morning that vibrated against our walls. We stayed 3 nights and I may have gotten an average of 3 hours sleep a night

O hotel está próximo de uma área muito movimentada e barulhenta a noite. Eles fizeram o máximo para isolar os quartos, porém ainda é possível ouvir a música de fora. Um protetor auricular foi suficiente, mas pessoas com sono leve podem se incomodar.

The streets in Cartagena are usually noisy, however the noise stops around 2 or 3am. The rooms with balcony could get some the Cartagena’s noise.

El precio es un robo para un hotel tan average. Honestamente lo escogi por la localizacion y cercania a un Evento que tenia dentro de la ciudad amurallada, pero hay hoteles muchooo mejores que cuestan menos y ofrecen mas. El desayuno es basico, y no tienen restaurante abierto para almuerzo o cena. Esta ubicado en un zona muy principal, asi que el ruido nocturno es terrible, no se puede descansar por lo menos hasta las 2am. La piscina es super pequen̈a y no tienen acceso de rampas para ir con coche o silla de ruedas. Nada que ofrecer si se va con niños pequenos.

Unfortunately money was taken from a bag in our room during our stay. We reported this to the hotel and they conducted an investigation but nothing came out of it. It really made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe in the hotel, and meant for our last day we had to pay ATM charges to take out money for laundry. They also don’t offer laundry service, as stated on booking.com. The rooms are VERY noisy looking out onto the street. Even with earplugs we could hear it, so worth noting. For the price, it was a disappointing stay and I wouldn’t recommend it sadly.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026O quarto era perfeito, tudo muito confortável e lindo. O café da manhã também era maravilhoso. Fora a localização, não tem como não se apaixonar pelo centro de Cartagena. Voltaria mil vezes.
Realmente tem um pouco de barulho da rua, mesmo o quarto tendo um bom isolamento acústico. Contras de se hospedar na melhor região da cidade. Mas nada que um tampão de ouvido não resolvesse.

Reviewed Apr 30, 2026Limpeza impecável, café da manhã muito bom, atenção e gentileza dos funcionários. O quarto espaçoso e super confortável. Um agradecimento especial à Diana, que não economizava esforços para me auxiliar em tudo o que eu precisasse.
O único problema é o barulho. Embora o hotel fique em uma localização privilegiada do centro histórico, ao lado da Torre do Relógio, dormir e descansar é bem dificil. A música começa pelas 17h e vai madrugada adentro. Os protetores auriculares ajudam bastante para dormir, mas tem uma hora que a gente cansa de tanto barulho o tempo todo. Penso que falta regulamentação pelo poder público.

Cidade barulhenta, mas o hotel é um oásis. Barulho não incomodou em nada. Piscina super agradável para os dias quentes da cidade. Funcionários prestativos. Água no figrobar na chegada de cortesia e café e água todos os dias disponíveis na recepção. Super recomendo!

We didn’t waste a single minute, bars were five minutes away walking, I am not exaggerating, the important locations where one street away, we didn’t really hear any noise, and we’re live in Canada, which is pretty calm. I love the fact that the reception is always ready to open your door even if it’s late. Breakfast was very, very special and high-quality buffet!

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026The location was great, walking distance to everything between minutes, however it was very noisy maybe do the balcony and my room that was right next to the counter where everyone pass by and do the check in and out. There was also noise from the street at all times all day, the balcony was looking to the street very cute. The pool was really small, smaller than what I imagine. The breakfast was really nice, and what make everything better was the people working there, like Yeison, who was always smiling and very happy to help, they also welcome me with a nice cake and room decor for my birthday. Thanks again to all the stuff for always saying yes to all our special requests.

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Excellent location within the "walled city" with many restaurants easily within walking distance. Safe location. Everything with the walled city and Getsemani within walking distance. Room appropriate for price. Access 24 hrs as staff always present. Excellent breakfast buffet with fruits, cereal, breads, pastries, juices and coffee. Scrambled eggs/omelets to your order.
Room on second floor facing the street is noisy at night, but not unbearable. secondary to night life. If not having a balcony on the street is important, ask for a room not facing the street. This hotel located less than one blook off plaza by Torre de Reloj.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2026A hospedagem é muito bacana, fica muito bem localizada, próximo à Torre del Reloj, o staff é muito acolhedor e o prédio em si é bem charmoso. O café da manhã é excepcional, os quartos são grandes e confortáveis, mesmo próximo à torre não se ouve tanto barulho na hora de dormir. Único ponto de atenção é que o hotel fica no primeiro andar e é preciso subir um lance de escadas para acessá-lo, tenha atenção se tiver algum problema de mobilidade.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026Yeison at the front desk was great and very supportive. The hotel looks cute and is quite central.
Due to its location, it gets very loud at night. We were prepared for that having stayed in the center of El Poblado in Medellín just before. However, this was a whole other level. It was as loud as if we had a speaker of the club right at our window. Our earplugs were of no help and we ended up not really sleeping. Make sure that you ask at reception to only pay for the first night to see if you can manage with the noise. This is apparently an option according to the owner even though it was not given to us.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026Amazing location right near the clock tower Wonderful and attentive staff. The included breakfast great variety, with a combination of fruit juices, pastries and to-order items like eggs or waffles and pancakes. Traveling with a disable person, but the few steps to get to the main floor are doable with care. Would recommend room at the reception level which we had. More steps lead to a beautiful rooftop area, including more rooms and a small pool. The rooms are perfect and ours had a nice small balcony with a table and two chairs overlooking the Busy and colourful street. One disadvantage to be noted is that nightlife continues until approximately 2 AM but very doable in exchange for the authentic location and experience. Would return for sure!

Reviewed Apr 10, 2026Es muy bonito, la habitación olía muy bien, estaba fresca con el aire acondicionado y ventilador. Estaba todo muy limpio. Teníamos nuestro balcón con una mesita y sillas para tomarnos una copa por la noche. Los desayunos muy ricos y el personal muy amable. Nos ayudaron incluso con las gestiones de nuestro siguiente hotel en otra ciudad porque no contestaban. Muy recomendable para la estancia en Cartagena.
Lo único es que al estar tan céntrico, la ciudad tiene mucha marcha de noche, así que había fiesta y ruido en las calles. Pero si quieres ubicación en el centro es lo que tiene. Eso sí, las ventanas aislaban muy bien y con tapones no se oía nada. Al final descansamos súper bien.

There was a music festival that played until 2am. We had a balcony room so the noise really was more than unreasonable. It’s not the hotel’s fault but I regretted the location.
