Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Stanza molto ampia con 5 letti per cui ne abbiamo potuto usare uno per aprire la valigia. Luci un po' basse in camera ma restando una sola notte non era un problema. WiFi ben funzionante. Al mattino abbiamo avuto il safari ( organizzato in autonomia) ci hanno preparato la colazione al sacco. Rientrati dal safari siamo riusciti a farci una doccia essendoci il check out alle 11. Molto vicina al parco di Yala.
La piscina aveva qualche problema era verde al nostro arrivo, se ne sono occupati in serata e il giorno successivo era di nuovo azzurra, non abbiamo però potuto utilizzarla. Abbiamo scelto la cena con pollo o pesce grigliato ( proposta a 9 dollari) buona ma troppo piccante. Qualche insetto in camera e qualche geco ma ce lo aspettavamo

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026The property is about 15 minutes from the Yala park entrance, and they prepared an early breakfast for our safari as agreed.
On our first night we found four large insects in the room: two big cockroaches, a millipede and a whip spider. Some insects are expected in this area, but four in one evening suggests the room isn't being treated properly.
The bigger issue was the safari we booked through the property for USD 135. The jeep was very old and the suspension was completely gone — we were thrown into the air at every bump for the entire drive. It turned the morning into something we endured rather than enjoyed. Not seeing leopards or elephants is luck and we don't blame anyone for that, but the condition of the vehicle is not luck.
When I raised it, the owner replied that he would stop giving work to that jeep owner because guests complain about it. It seems the problem was already known while the safari was still being sold at full price.
We paid everything in full at check-out and asked for nothing back. I'm writing this so the next guests know to ask about the vehicle before booking.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Hele ruime (familie)kamer met 5 losse 1 persoonsbedden. In tegenstelling tot sommige reviews werkte de airco prima. Er waren ook nog 2 ventilatoren.
De badkamers van 2 kamers boven grenzen aan elkaar en zijn bij het dak open, dus kun je elkaar horen. In de slaapkamer heb je daar geen last van.
Een wat simpele, maar ruime badkamer, maar wel met warm water, apart toilet en veel opbergruimte. Dus ook een geschikte verblijf als je met een groep reist.
Het hotel ligt op de weg naar de ingang van Yala, stuk dichterbij dan Tissa.
Het water van het zwembad was niet zo schoon (troebel, groen). Maar we waren toch te laat terug van de safari om nog te gaan zwemmen.

Very well-designed villa, with all the facilities you may need for your stay, including an outdoor swimming pool and a nice sitting area. The room was spotless clean and the staff was so helpful and hospitable. We stayed just one night for the Yala National Park but would love to prolong our time here.

The food portions were very good.
The bed spreads were torn and there were a lot of cockroaches in the bathroom and room.

AC could've been stronger but it was honestly fine, they also have fans to boost.

W nocy w naszej łazience był nietoperz, więc baliśmy się tam w ogóle wejść! To było tak okropne doświadczenie, że więcej nie wrócimy. Nie wiem skąd obiekt ma takie wysokie oceny. Cieszyliśmy się, że tylko 1 noc tam spędziliśmy.

This place is quiet and you can wake up to the sound of birds chirpiing while sipping a cup of tea over the balcony. Peacocks randomly appear in the garden in their full glory. Truly a hidden gem. Highly recommended.

You have to preorder your beer. We would have liked another beer and there were no spare ones.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026周囲に何もないが、比較的新しい施設で部屋も広く快適に過ごせた。シャワーもスリランカのホテルにありがちなトイレと一体型のものではなかったのでありがたかった。またヤーラ国立公園のメインエントランスに近かった。
レストランやスーパーが集結しているティッサマハーラマからはトゥクトゥクで20分近くかかる。しかしホテルで夕食も手配してくれるとのことだったので移動が煩わしければホテルで食べるのが良いと思う。

Heerlijk rustig, leuk zwembad met vriendelijk personeel. Het eten dat voor ons bereidt werd was goed.
De kamers zijn kaal, maar prima met een eigen badkamer en toilet. De bedden waren wel erg hard.

El alojamiento era totalmente abierto en medio de la naturaleza. La piscina estaba muy bien y venían los animales a beber. Todo tipo de bichos. Personal muy amable. Habitación amplia y limpia y rodeado de ventanales.
En el desayuno, el huevo frito estaba frío. Contratamos un full Day safari con ellos. No recomiendo esta opción, mejor solo el de mañana. A las 11:15 pararon para comer, y se descansa hasta las 14:00. Después él cansancio y el calor hacen mella, vuelven a parar un rato
para ir al lavabo y la búsqueda es ya poco activa.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2025Tree Tops was close to Yala National Park. The owner arranged our safari. The guide enabled us to see a leopard which was pretty amazing. Along with elephants, water buffaloes and crocodiles. The room was spacious and had all that we needed. The food was excellent and it was like having our own chef. Do try the curries sambol etc. It was delicious. The pool was so great after a day's safari. We even had a very large lizard come up for a drink while the boys were in the pool. The host would help with any requirements.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2025It is a perfect place to relax after a daylong safari, either in the pool or in one of the large rooms. The bathroom (especially the shower) was one of the best in Sri lanka. The personal was really carrying and nice. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The manager communicated with kindness and rapidly. We enjoyed our stay a lot and we recommend it to everyone.
There could be more light in the room. It was a little bit dark.

El desayuno y la cena fueron algo escasos
Mooie en nette kamer op 15 minuten rijden van nationaal park. Beperkte kaart in restaurant maar heel flexibel qua eettijden bij een late aankomst. Goed contact met eigenaar die alles vanop afstand op voorhand voor je regelt zodat je kan genieten van je verblijf. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.
Klein minpuntje. Ik miste een groot licht in de kamer zodat je gemakkelijk spullen uit je tas kan vinden. Er was wel veel sfeerverlichting en het probleem was gemakkelijk op te lossen door gebruik van een hoofdlamp.
The location was great. The room was large. The pool was lovely. The staff were willing to do whatever we needed.
There's no fridge in the room. The breakfast was very poor compared to everywhere else we've stayed. No juice, no tea or coffee. Small choice of fruit. The sausages and eggs weren't cooked at the time we'd asked. It had been cooked some time earlier and were cold when served to us.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2025Fantastische plek. Heel rustig, met een fijn zwembad. Lekkere banken voor algemene gebruik en ook nog een eigen zitje buiten bij je kamer. Kamer erg schoon en fijne met goede bedden en een fijne inloopkast bij de badkamer. Lekker ontbijt en mogelijkheid om te eten. Vlakbij een dorpje met leuk koffietentje op loopafstand. Je kan er ook goed hardlopen.

Reviewed Jul 26, 2025Habitatge d'arquitectura d'estil minimalista, còmode I net, a prop de l'entrada principal del parc. Vam tenir un problema al darrer moment I necessitàvem canviar el día pactat del safari I es van adaptar perfectament a les nostres necessitats. Van ser molt atents en tot moment.
El bany està comunicat per la part superior amb el bany de l'habitació del costat I se sent tot. Li falta il.luminació artificial a l'habitació.

Das Personal war zurückhaltend und sie sind nicht wirklich auf uns zugekommen. Allerdings haben sie für uns extra Obst für die Safari organisiert, trotz allem war es irgendwie kein Gefühl von Gastfreundschaft.
Außerdem war das Essen leider nicht unserer Geschmack.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2025The place is really well located close to the gate of the Yala sanctuary. It was very clean and comfortable. The management communicated with us very well before the beginning of our stay. On site staff were very proffessional and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, the bbq was amazing. You wake up to the song of million birds and perhaps get to see some peafowl near the pool. The place has such a relaxing atmosphere that we would go back in a hearbeat.

We boekten dit verblijf heel last minute, maar het personeel opende speciaal voor ons, attent en hartelijk! We voelden ons welkom.
Het eten was lekker, zowel het avondeten als het ontbijt. Alles was goed verzorgd. Het personeel was aardig en behulpzaam.
Een fijne plek met warme gastvrijheid – zeker aan te raden als uitvalsbasis voor Yala!

Reviewed May 17, 2025部屋は広々しているし、設備は全体的によく手入れされている。プールから、また屋上からみた夕陽がきれいだった。アルコールがあるか問い合わせたところ、普段はおいていないということだったが、ビールを２本買っておいてくれて嬉しかった。夕ご飯のメニューは４種類。バーベキューもできるらしい。夕ご飯には、チキンカレーをオーダーしていたのだけれど、体調があまりよくなかったので、一人分をフルーツに変更してもらうことができた。たくさんのフルーツを食べて、体調を整えることができたので、とても助かった。翌日のヤーラ国立公園から１５分と近く、サファリの手配もしてくれるとのこと。ホテルのオーナーもスタッフもとてもフレンドリーで親切だった。

Reviewed May 10, 2025I like that the rooms are clean and spacious. There was no mosquito. The dinner was very delicious and the portion was quite generous.
Wish the water pressure is higher for shower.
We would highly recommend Tree Tops Yala. We stayed for one night and found the lodge to be spacious, very comfortable and clean. The hotel arranged safaris for the afternoon and following morning, and being located so close to the park was a real advantage. The safari was the highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka. Our guide, Priyantha, was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, able to show us so much animal and bird life. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have seen both leopards and elephants on both safaris, a real treat, but it was so much more than that.

Мы заказывали завтрак и ужин,достаточно стандартные. На территории чистый,теплый бассейн. А еще бегали три замечательных щеночка и кошечка,очень ласковые и игривые.

We hadden drie kamers geboekt maar konden maar gebruik maken van twee. Ook zat er in een aantal dekens/lakens grote gaten en er zijn maar drie bedjes bij het zwembad. Er lag vogelpoep in de gang dit werd niet gepoetst.

We booked a safari trip through Tree Tops, and had a great Safari with a very experienced guided. The house is clean and spacious. The staff provided us with delicious food.

Reviewed Jan 28, 2025Tree Tops is one of the closer lodges to the Yala National Park. They organised an excellent tour for us and on our return in the evening the fire was burning for our BBQ dinner. We absolutely loved all the food that the chef and his team made for us over the two days. Beautiful breakfasts, lunch and dinner. We got to try so many different Sri Lankan meals and breads. We felt so spoilt, it really was like having our personal chef, thank you for looking after us so well. We also enjoyed staying at the lodge. We thought the rooms looked too big for the three of us however we were very comfortable and could all read in bed without disturbing each other. The air con works well too. Do take the time to go to the roof top lookout as you can see lots of birds, monkeys and water buffalo.

It was great to communicate before our travel to make sure the property, food and anything met our needs. I can't recommend this place enough. The language barrier on site made it a little difficult to express our gratuity but the chef prepared some outstanding food and our party of 5 were really happy. This might have been some of the best homemade food we had while traveling in Sri Lanka. I might add that the proximity to Yala National park was why we chose this venue. Would totally recommend.

The house is very spacious, clean, and modern—perfect for our group of 10 people. The food was delicious, all prepared by the staff, which made our experience even more relaxing. The pool was stunning, and being surrounded by nature made the experience even more special. We spotted monkeys, peacocks, a variety of birds, and even a monitor lizard! Another great advantage is that the house is located just 15 minutes from the entrance of Yala Safari Park, making it super convenient for our excursions. Overall, it was a peaceful and unique getaway, and the staff’s care and attention made it truly memorable. Highly recommend this place!

There were plenty of beds to choose from and the upstairs rooms can connect allowing large groups to intermingle easily. Additionally the meals were prepared by a cook that made delicious food daily with a variety of tastes and textures. The staff were helpful and attentive to our needs. The top most floor is a viewing deck and if you come there early morning around 5;30am the view and concoction of birds and sounds is a relaxing experience to see and listen. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a different experience.
