Sigiriya Freedom Lodge

予約しておいた時点で、到着からホテルまでの交通手段を気遣ってくれました。紹介していただいたレストランは、今回のスリランカの旅行で最もおいしかったです。メインストリートから若干離れてますが、森の中の一軒家という感じで、とても落ち着いた気分で過ごすことができました。

交通手段を自分で確保しておければ何も不自由はないと思います。支配人が色々と気遣ってくださったので感謝してます。

Minden teljesen rendben volt, megfelelt a leírásban foglaltaknak! Egy éjszakára teljesen jó volt a szállás! Kényelmes, nagy szoba két franciaággyal, tágas fürdőszobával!

Kicsit sár volt az eső után! Nincs melegvíz a fürdőben. Éjszaka kifogyott a víz a tartályból és ez okozott némi galibát a zuhanyozás során!

Rewelacyjny stosunek jakości do ceny! Asela i jego rodzina bardzo pomocni, dosłownie we wszystkim. Zorganizują cokolwiek chcesz. Nam Asela pomógł w organizacji safari - niezapomniane przeżycie! Odpowiedział na wszystkie pytania i dał wskazówki na dalszą drogę. Od momentu rezerwacji był bardzo zaangażowany w naszą podróż. Żona Aseli gotowała nam obfite, lokalne posiłki (śniadania i obiadokolacje), których nie byliśmy w stanie zjeść! Dla mojego męża, który jest na diecie bezglutenowej, specjalnie przyrządziła posiłek. Bardzo to doceniamy. Nigdzie indziej nie spotkaliśmy aż takiej gościnności!!!

Lugar con lo básico para una estancia agradable. Muy buena relación calidad precio. Destacable el abundante y rico desayuno, así como la amabilidad de la anfitriona, que además nos recibió invitándonos a te y café con galletas.

The owner or the keeper forced us to cancel the booking through the app and talk in very rude way. They said they will facilitate the stay only if we cancel the booking. We booked in the noon and we went there at night with kids and old people and it was very bad experience and we had to find another place at night. Very bad and unpleasant experience. Not recommending to anyone

Wir hatten ein tollen Aufenthalt u sehr gut geschlafen. Das Essen war lecker insbesondere die Eierkuchen am Morgen. Die Gastfamilie ist super freundlich u die Bushaltestelle nicht weit.

L'entorn, és un lloc tranquil rodejat de natura. A més, Asela ens ha ajudat a planificar les activitats.

No hi havia possibilitat d'esmorzar a l'allotjament. Tampoc no hi havia sabó per a la dutxa.

It's like a farm house. Silent and serene. Farms and fishes around, clean place.

To reach the place from the main road, for the first time in the night, with no lights made it very difficult. At a point, we called the owner and he came with a torch light and guided us to the place and while leaving he took a tuk tuk and kindly dropped us at bus stop. Also no nearby restaurant at night time for dinner.

We had a great stay, owners are very pleasant and the location is amazing. Room was nice as well.

Location and near to Sigiriya Value of the money

We stayed one more night here because it was so peaceful and close to both Sigiriya and Dambulla. The host is so helpful and talented, he built the lodge himself, and surrounding wood sculptures. The shower has a partially exposed roof which is nice to look up to in morning showers. The bathroom and bedroom is very spacious and the price was amazing

The room is clean and generously sized, and the bathroom is the biggest I've stayed in at Sri Lanka (cold shower only). We had a gecko and frog for company in the bathroom 😊. The host showed us his amazing wood crafting skills around the property. When I was unwell the host gave me painkillers to get better, lent us a knife to cut up fresh fruit, and made us a tea + dessert upon entry. We were so happy with this place, and the location is quiet and a quick drive to Dambulla or Sigiriya

It is right out in the jungle. So it is best if you have your own transport as you wont be walking from town. The room has sockets , a decent bed and a bug net over the bed , each room has a little terrace area with its own seating and light. Breakfast was the best sized portion I've had here so far - and tasted great too! The hosts are very friendly and happy to help with anything you may need .

The sounds of the forest are amazing, and the family is very friendly and kind!

The property was very basic but was exceptional for the price. The owner of the lodge and his wife were incredible and her cooking was amazing. We were able to do everything we wanted to do in just a one night stay because they arranged all of our travel. All of the tourist attractions are within easy reach from the lodge and they organised an incredible elephant safari for us at Kaudulla national park.

Everything was great! The accomondation , the food, the host & family incl 3 dogs (🥰), the wifi for remote work and the location surrounded by nature, fruits, vegetables & animals. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing place, it feels like a jungle resort! The rooms are well separated, with a sitting area outside each room. The room was spacious, clean and had a mosquito net. The road up to the property is rough, other than that the place is perfect.

The room is very spacious and clean, with a nice porch. It is surrounded by green. It is amazing if you are in need of a break from the world. Very very good value for money.

After it gets dark if you are alone and, especially without own vehicle, you can't really go out, and there is no place to eat within walkable distance. So one really needs to plan accordingly and buy food before heading back for the day. The dogs can get really loud at night.

We really liked the attention to detail and decor of the entire facility. You can see that the owners try to provide their guests with all the amenities. The hosts were very nice and helpful (the best tea in Sri Lanka!). Our kids loved playing in the yard. The place is very well connected to nearby attractions.

Nothing as a 'dislike', more like 'be aware': as this place is in the middle of the village be prepared for mosquito and different animals that are running on your roof :)

Asela and his lovely wife and 2 Kids have a really idyllic welcoming place in the green but close to the mainroad and with easy access to all sights. This is a great place because you get your freedom but also all questions answered and the individual careless package if you want- Asela can arrange everything for a fair budget. I'd go back anytime, 100%recommendedp

Asela and his wife are absolutely incredible. They helped me in every way possible. I had such a wonderful time during my short stay there. The location of the home stay is quite convenient if you plan to travel around by local buses. The place itself is super cosy and green. You feel like you are in the middle of a jungle. Would recommend and will also come back :)

The host and his family are super friendly and helpful, there is hot water. During mango season they offered me a welcome mango juice :)

Very nice neighborhood. Quiet and very nice to have rest at night. The bed is comfy The room is spacious and clean bathroom You can buy very cheap fruits nearby. Family can cook SriLankan food for a very reasonable price. They can organize a Safari in a discounted price. 350 meters walk to take a bus going to Lions rock or you can tell the owner for him to drop you to lions rock with a reasonable price. The wife even accompanied and showed us the short cut way (3 minutes walk) to take a bus going to trincomalee ,Dambulla, Polonnaruwa etc.

Nice accommodation in the middle of nature but also good base for nearby attractions. Owner is very helpful, he can arrange everything for you :) thank you Asela :)

Amazing views and and very comfortable + I recommend this hotel 100% and i would definitely go back!! The room, the facilities and the view are stunning, all is brand new, very clean and very comfortable The owner is so sweet and caring, that makes your experience unforgettable I loved it!!!

Humble lodge surrounded by nature, with hot shower and strong wifi. Owner and his family are really nice and make sure that your needs are all met. He is one of the most honest man you can find here, as he would suggest you to places to visit and do his utmost best to show you the best deals to save you money.

You could not dream of a better host. one of the nicest people we met in sri lanka. very helpful, polite and friendly. he will help with everything without a problem and even suggest additional activities himself. i highly recommend staying at this great place. you can easily calm down here and truly relax
