Reviewed Sep 16, 2026l'emplacement est fabuleux. L'ambiance village de pêcheurs historique. Le séjour dans un rorbu sur pilotis juste au bord de ce fjord magnifique est une expérience inoubliable.
L'accès aux lits supérieurs à l'aide d'une échelle sans aucun garde fou/rambarde ou poignets d'aide nous semble dangereux.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Very nice apartment with a spectacular view, great location. Parking in front of our room.
Unfortunately the apartment for four people is not practical at all. There is no space to put personal belongings, and there are no hooks for clothes (only two hooks, which are supposed to accommodate the jackets and clothes of four people). In the bathroom, there is only one hook for shower towels, even though there are four of us staying in the apartment and there is plenty of space for others. There are also no shelves for toiletries. The shower is very modern, but it has no door and is open towards the sink. It is therefore very inconvenient, as you have to be careful not to end up getting half the bathroom wet. There were no available power outlets near the beds. There are only two breakfast cups and three soup plates. Overall, the apartment is simply not properly equipped for four people.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026De locatie. Aan fjord. Mooiste plek ooit. Vriendelijk personeel. Oud vissershuisje dus apart om in te slapen. Compleet met keuken, broodrooster, waterkoker, koffie en thee. Wasmachine was bij ons buiten gebruik. Zoals in omschrijving je slaapt boven. Met trappetje. Maar beneden staat slaapbank. Wij hebben deze uitgeklapt en 2 matrassen van boven erop gelegd en daar bed gemaakt. Met uitzicht op fjord. Top. Wij zagen niet zitten boven slapen gezien onze leeftijd en in nacht eruit. Noorderlicht gezien. Schattig plaatsje. Op weg er heen de batman rots. In dorp pizzeria. Heerlijk. En restaurant met overweldigend ontbijt. Wij eten alleen yoghurt en broodje maar er was zo veel. Tot warme maaltijden aan toe en zelf gemaakt gebak. Ik zou deze zeker boeken als je aan fjord in vissershuis op palen wil slapen. Beter kan niet. Als gast betaal je ook geen entree voor openlucht museum wat het plaatsje is. Kijk vooral in de oude winkels enz.
Wasmachine niet in gebruik. Boven slapen maar dat wisten we van te voren. Top opgelost door de bedbank.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Die Lage war gigantisch. Wie im Freilichtmuseum kam ich mir vor. Sehr sympathische und hilfsbereite Rezeption. Vor Ort ist eine Bar. Sensationell war das Frühstück!
Die Betten waren unter dem Dach über eine Leiter erreichbar. Eigentlich urig und cool. Aber mit wenig Fußfreiheit. Nachts auf Toilette gehen war ein kleines Abenteuer.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Die Lage direkt am Fjord und an den Felsen, die Abgeschiedenheit sind selbst für norwegische Verhältnisse außergewöhnlich. Ein Spaziergang durch die Anlage, das Freiluftmuseum ist absolut empfehlenswert. Unsere Cottage war sehr geräumig, sauber und neu. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Karoline Restaurant war vorzüglich, man konnte sich auch Espresso und Cappuccino von der Bar - ohne Aufpreis- bestellen.
Noch besser geht nicht.

Noi abbiamo avuto l' opportunità di dormire ina delle più vecchie case di pescatori, un esperienza fantastica! Adatta a chi ha voglia di mettersi in gioco e provare qualcosa di diverso dal solito ( non tutte le stanze hanno il bagno in camera, hanno però un bagno privato in una struttura separata ad alcuni metri) molto bello e suggestivo!

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Nusfjord je určitě moc hezké místo a stojí za návštěvu, naše ubytování bylo fajn, ale na naší cestě jsme bydlely i v jiných rybářských chatkách, a i když nebyly tak fancy, byly milejší a autentičtější. Měly jsme tu ale fantastickou snídani, v krásné restauraci s výhledem na zátoku, s moc milou obsluhou, rozhodně ji doporučuji, když už tu budete bydlet.
Byli jsme trochu zklamané polohou naší chatky, byla stranou, a z druhé chatky jsme slyšely každé slovo. Byla to taková trochu designovka, ale spaní pod střechou s neupevněným řebříkem není nic moc. Myslím, že místo trochu hřeší na svou krásu, a příjemnou atmosféru ruší i to, že celou zátoku opanoval jediný podnik, v jehož režii se odehrává úplně vše. Hned několikrát jsme natrefily na otrávenou obsluhu a to vás při těch cenách a třeba v situaci, když si ani nemůžete dát v kavárně kafe, protože zrovna nejde kávovar, zklame.

La stanza da letto veramente piccola con il letto alla francese appoggiato alla parete da una parte. Nel bagno niente presa elettrica, ho dovuto asciugare i capelli nel locale cucina / soggiorno. Non adeguato al livello e al prezzo.

Personalmente, ho avuto un pò di paura a dormire nei letti su soppalco perché senza protezione, ho comunque dormito benissimo sul divano.I miei figli e mio marito ci hanno dormito benissimo. Il villaggio è favoloso, la colazione abbondante e buona. Abbiamo cento presso la pizzeria che era abbastanza buona.

Sommigen zullen het leuk vinden, als je wat ouder bent is er niets aan; slapen op het zoldertje. ‘N paar matrassen op de houten vloer, alleen te bereiken via een steile houten ladder met heel dunne treden. Ook een circusartiest zou er nog moeite mee hebben.

la mancanza di toilette in camera non è per tutti, soprattutto quando fuori fa freddissimo di notte anche d’estate, e il bagno è parecchio lontano dalla cabina. Inoltre non ci è sembrato giusto dover pagare 2 volte per il pesce. Malgrado l’avessimo pescato noi durante una gita, l’unica possibilità offertaci era di farcelo cucinare dal ristorante a cena, con uno ‘sconto’. Per fortuna lo chef ha fatto un buon lavoro e i filetti erano deliziosi. ma ci dovrebbero essere soluzioni migliori per chi ha successo nella pesca, per esempio un bel barbecue a disposizione degli ospiti.

Lots of options, lots of interesting things, beautiful breakfast area with amazing views to the sea. The house itself was charming, spacious, built on the water, so you have spectacular views from all sides! There is a short hiking path to the lake which we loved ⛰️
I was surprised to find out that likely most of the houses in the village are hotel's. It felt like an artificial town with not many locals. So when Njusford is described as a museum in open air, that's very accurate.

De prijzen liggen redelijk hoog, zelfs naar Noorse normen, zowel voor de accommodatie als voor het avondeten in het Karoline restaurant.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Il villaggio più suggestivo di tutte le Lofoten, direttamente nel fiordo, con la luce calda del tramonto che si riflette sulle rocce e dentro le acque blu! Dormire qui due notti è stata una scelta perfetta anche per muoversi tra la zona di Ramberg, Fredvang e allungandosi fino ad Hauckland. I rorbuer sono davvero ben tenuti, curati e raffinatissimi, a mio gusto. Noi ci siamo stati a fine giugno, non c’era affollamento e avremmo voluto davvero fare una notte in più!!

Ein Fenster konnte man nicht abdunkeln, das war schade. Es hat keine Abwaschmaschine - nicht sehr schlimm, jedoch für den Preis wird es schon erwartet

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Wir hatten grosses Glück mit dem Wetter. Fast drei Tage hier und blauer Himmel. Dadurch erstrahlte alles noch viel schöner als es ist.
Die Restaurant: wir waren zwei Nächte hier und haben im beiden Restaurant gegessen. Das eine Restaurant ist eher sehr Nobel und mit Kindern weniger gut geeignet. Auch sind die Portionen klein sodass unsere Kinder anschliessend noch eine Pizza gegessen haben.

We stayed in various beautiful accommodations across Lofoten, including a few fisherman-style cabins. However, this particular heritage cabin was the worst and most expensive experience we’ve ever had. It felt like a scam. When booking the heritage cabin, it doesn’t mention that there’s no running water inside before you reserve your non-refundable room. Furthermore, it doesn’t state that the private bathroom is not close to the cabin – two crucial details you should know. Essentially, it’s camping and you’re paying over £300 a night for the privilege. The door is locked with a chain and padlock and the private bathroom smells like dirty drains. The walls are so thin you can hear every word your neighbour says. Don’t book the heritage cabin; it’s the worst accommodation we’ve ever stayed at.

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026Luogo incantevole, nelle vecchie casette dei pescatori(Luogo patrimonio unesco). La casetta era grande,pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. Colazione in un ristorante del paese a buffet eccellente! Parcheggio vicino alla casa, terrazza panoramica. Essendo ospiti dell hotel non abbiamo pagato la tassa di ingresso da 150. Trekking al faro bello ma mal segnalato e un po fangoso.
Le due camere doppie avevano due letti da una piazza e mezza. Noi eravamo due coppie mamma-figlia e ci siamo state ma la stanza era piccola e i letti ancor di più. Diciamo che per il livello della struttura e il costo è da tener presente

Reviewed Jun 27, 2026My daughter and I stayed two nights end of June 2026, we stayed in the "Traditional Cabin", it was located on the end with an amazing water view. Very, very quiet. Although we were there when the weather was quite temperamental we spent a day 4 days earlier with sunny skies enjoying more of the grounds knowing that our stay may have rain and wind. From check in with very nice staff, to a safe parking space, great accommodation with spectacular views, there was nothing at all negative to say. We loved the little "fishing museum" from years gone by as well, walking around it so many times. Coming from a fishing town in the NE of the US, we could appreciate how they lived years ago, such a treat to have had the opportunity to stay here! Oh, they had the most adorable cafe/shop "Landhandelen" that felt like the 1930's with all the items from that era, so to sit inside with a nice plate of waffles and something hot to drink you could just enjoy all those items lining the shelves. I could have spent hours just enjoying the ambience. Thank you for such a nice place to stay.

L’hébergement en Héritage cabine est très basique et ne possède pas de salle de bain , ni de toilette . Celles ci se trouvent à 100 m à l’extérieur de l’hébergement. Ce point devrait être rappelé lors de la réservation de ce type d’hébergement. Le prix demandé est disproportionné pour ce type particulier hébergement .

Très mauvaise odeur provenant de la salle de bain. Chambre éloignée du village donc quand il pleut c’est compliqué. Sauna accessible qu’à partir de 14h. Donc pas de possibilité d’y aller le matin après la gym.

We stayed in Rorbuer 6 and it was on the very edge of the town. It required a bit of a walk to the historic town and restaurants, but was super quiet and had a lovely deck out front with picnic tables. The rorbuer itself was beautifully restored. You walked in to an entryway/hallway that had a door into the main cabin and then a separate door to the bathroom. You could see the old wood for the original rorbuer in the entry way walls. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The main room had a kitchenette, a dining table, and a sitting area with big windows for lots of light. This particular cabin only had lofts for beds. The ladders were quite adventurous to climb up and down because they moved, but the mattresses for being essentially mattresses on the floor were quite comfortable. The decor was beautiful. The town itself was lovely. Since you are staying there you can access the town for free. There was so much to do between the gallery, the spa, the hikes (go to the lighthouse!), the 3 restaurants, the general store and cafe, etc. Oriano, the pizza place, was excellent! The included breakfast buffet was a great way to try a lot of traditional Norwegian foods and it was a yummy start to the day.
Despite being a bit pricey, this was a lovely stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
