El sitio es maravilloso y la familia encantadora. Hacen todo lo posible para que tu estancia sea lo mejor posible. “Tiger” es un magnífico anfitrión y un padre de familia especial. Espero verles en Madrid.

Fantastic second stay. Clean, peaceful and lovely bed. The owner is lovely and happy to accommodate and make you feel welcome . Location is perfect for our trips to Trilee and Limerick. Absolutedly recommend

Großartige Unterkunft, voll ausgestattet, sauber und gemütlich sowie bequem. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und hat sehr gute Tipps für die Erkundung. Das tolle an der Unterkunft ist: Trotz diesjähriger warmer Temperaturen um die 30 Grad, blieb das Haus kühl bzw. war spätestens zum schlafen wieder angenehm, vermutlich bauartbedingt. Das war großartig. Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus. Zur Begrüßung hatten wor auch etwas Toast, Butter und Cheddar. Lage ist super! Cork, Limerick, Ring of Kerry, Dingle, alles in etwa 2h mit dem Auto erreichbar. Kurzum, eine großartige Unterkunft und Gastgeber, wenn wor wieder in der Region Urlaub machen, kommen wir gern wieder.

Tiger is an amazing host, the house is quit and cozy, big enough for a family and all their privacy needs.

The host, Tadgh, came out to welcome us and show us around, he was very lovely and so helpful about local beauty spots and things to do. He recommended Tasty Chinese in Dromcolliher, the next village over, oh WOW it was delicious and we had enough to do left overs the folling day for dinner. We were only staying 3 days, we are already trying to work out when we can stay for longer next year!! I would highly recommend staying here, its peaceful, quiet, relaxing home.

The directions given to the location, via booking.com's Google maps link, were not to the location but 1/2 mile out. The best way to describe the location is that coming from the direction of Dromcolliher, past the school a x it's immediately on you left hand side after the zebra crossing.

Nous sommes arrivés vendredi 29 Mai, le Monsieur qui tiens ce Lodge, et, très accueillant, bienveillant. Si dans l'avenir nous retournons dans la région de Limerick, nous retournons dans ce logement.

A very cozy two bed with everything that you would need. The owners were very friendly and really made our weekend stay absolutely brilliant, especially with two little children. Thanks so much.

Our host was amazing. He did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. He even provided some basics food necessities to welcome us from our 3 hour drive from Dublin airport. He was able to suggest some interesting tourist spots for us and additionally some interesting “reading material”…..thanks T

Les hôtes sont charmants, leur accueil a été exceptionnel que ce soit à notre arrivée ou tous les soirs, en nous demandant comment c'était passé notre journée. Monsieur est au petit soin, attentif à ce qu'on manque de rien. Il a été de très bon conseil pour nos visites, un irlandais qui aime son territoire et qui le partage. Le feu de cheminée est fait tous les soirs ce qui est vraiment un bon point positif surtout quand la journée a été humide. Le logement est bien situé quand on veut visiter le sud ouest de l'île. Il est également bien équipé, il manque juste un rideau pour la petite chambre afin d'être réveiller un peu moins tôt.

Excelente casa de férias para a família. Mercearia e pub a 2 min a pé. O melhor de tudo são os anfitriões que fazem tudo para uma estadia incrível. Com excelentes dicas do que visitar na Irlanda e uma lareira acesa no final do dia, para um lar aconchegante no final de um dia de passeio.

There was plenty of room for a family of 4. The owner was just lovely. Every night when we came home he had a fire lite for us.

It was a little difficult to find. However, the owner did come out to the street to find us.

Really recommend this place for staying. There are several reasons. First and most important - Tiger, the owner. He is fantastic person that really makes you day. Very polite, helpful and so optimistic!!! Just ask him what place to visit and you will receive full description of place worth to be seen - not commercial but really „irish local”. More over location is fantastic - you are like in centre with more or less distance to all places to visit. Believe me you will never regret staying at Tiger’s Walkers Lodge. Thank you Tiger for wonderful time once again!!!

Everything was great. Such a peaceful place, wonderful for recharging and it was lovely to find some snacks, bread and milk etc. on arrival after the long drive.

This is probably our 6th stay as a family. Walkers lodge is like stepping into a second home. It has everything you need. Tadgh was great and always ensured the fire was set up for us every evening as we were out exploring. Location is great. It’s really warm and homely! Our children hate when we have to leave. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great base. Tadgh is a great host. He knows a lot about the local area and always helpful when looking for suggestions for places to visit.

Taidgh is an excellent host, who goes the extra mile for his guests. The place is located an easy walk into the lovely village of Broadford and the welcome pack provided by Taidgh was much appreciated. Can't recommend the place highly enough.

This is one of the best accommodations that I have stayed in, a lovely lodge with full amenities, very friendly and helpful owner, lit the wood burner for us every day and couldn't do enough for us, the local people are very friendly and treated us like old friends, lovely place and lovely people.

The house was clean, warm and very cosy! The reception was amazing and showed why the Irish are known by their hospitality! Recommend to all people who seek for a truly Irish experience!

Location was great for exploring the Ballyhoura Way.

The chalet was spacious, clean and well equipped, and in beautiful surroundings. Next to a primary school, but not significantly noisy. Plenty of parking space and very secure. The owner, Tadgh, is very welcoming, interesting, helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing to do with the chalet, but booking.com needs to better describe the location of this chalet. It provides a map but the location on the map is incorrectly specified. The postcode is not provided, but thankfully Tadgh sent it to us and thanks to Google Maps, we found the chalet OK!

We were a hiking group and the location ideally suited us. We hiked from Ashford to Broadford and also did some hiking in Ballyhoura. The location was good... situated between Newcastle West and Charleville and Ballyhoura area.

It was a lovely house in the small village of Broadford, full of flowers and a green big garden. The interior of the house was really cozy and perfect for a couple or a family. The host was just incredible. He gave us a really warm welcome and explain us great trip tips and additional places to visit. Life is all colors and this house was a colorful fairy tale.

The location is very nice and the owner is very friendly If you want quite this a good location First appearances are cute but that's it.

Tired & old - Beds are low & lumpy, pillows are in need to be replaced - bathroom moldy & in need of repair - kitchen hard to navigate because it is split by a circular staircase - couches & chairs are soiled and need to be replaced. To be fair, if you are looking for cheap, inexpensive accommodation, this might be it. There is another review that rated this location # 4 from two years ago - it was exactly as that review stated and hasn't changed in two years. Just a little money and some cleaning time would make this location much better.

We had a wonderful time at Walkers Lodge. The accommodation was very comfortable and the location is a great base to explore the surrounding region. The hospitality from Taidhg, Deirdre, and David was exceptional.

The trancuility and peace of mind.Also the owner Tiger is very kind He treated us as his family he explained us where to go in Ireland.The pitty is that i didnt tell him goodbye before we left because we were late to the airport.Tiger tell you goodbye from here and god bless you and your family!!

Lovely quiet accommodation - well equipped and host had added some extras so we didn’t need to rush to shop. Great welcome from host - true Irish fun, friendly & nothing too much trouble. Lots of wildlife plus a friendly dog & donkey.

Middle bedroom had no blind on the only roof window, so was fully light at dawn, especially as the weather was (unusually) incredibly sunny! Could do with a power operated velux blackout blind. Boiler surprised us by coming on in the middle of the night, being summer we’d neglected to turn off the radiators! Everything else was great.

Taidhg is such a nice person. He agreed to late check in (in the middle of the night), greeted us on our late arrival, gave us advice and even made us fire in the fireplace which was the best. We are grateful for his readiness.

Our host could not have been more welcoming and helpful. He gave us useful information about the area, a starter pack of food and lit the wood burner for us every night.

The owner Taidhg is the nicest, most accommodating man. We were after travelling a long journey on a cold evening and he had the stove lit and heating on, the place is so cosy and homely!

Lovely apartment in Broadford village. We were attending a wedding at Springfield Castle. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. would highly recommend.

Such a lovely cottage that could be something special but sadly it's not. The location was good and they left us some bread, milk teabags and biscuits which was a nice touch but sadly that was the only positive thing I can say. If you're looking for cheap accommodation and not fussy about where you stay, then this is OK.

Very bad damp smell when you entered the cottage which they tried to disguise by having fragranced candles lit but it didn't work and when we blew the candles out the smell got worse. Old, tired, lumpy mattresses. There was a throw on the couch to cover it, under the throw was a dirty stained couch, armchairs weren't much better and also covered with throws. Kettle was full of calcium deposits so I had to boil water in a saucepan. There was a velux roof window in the bedroom and it was covered with cardboard to block out the light. You had to manoeuvre around a staircase (that went nowhere) to go between the cooker and the rest of the small kitchen which was a real nuisance. There were bins in the house but we were told not to use them, to put the rubbish in the wheelie bin outside the front door. The flooring in the bathroom was full of mould. Owner then told me that if I'd booked through Airbnb I'd have got it 55e cheaper..🙄🙄 we stayed only 2 nights, thankfully. We will not be returning and if the owner is reading this then please put a bit of money into your cottage because it has bags of potential and it wouldn't cost much to bring it up to a better standard.
