Le bruit la nuit du fait de la proximité de la route mais le resort n'y est pour rien.

Excelente lugar para relajarse. Las instalaciones son hermosas, amplias, muy bien cuidadas y aseadas. La piscina y la vista son increíbles. El personal, muy amable en todo momento. El desayuno estuvo delicioso, y disfrutarlo con vista a los campos de arroz no tiene precio. ¡Un lugar espectacular, totalmente recomendado!

Echt een hele mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht. Ruime comfortabele kamers. Goed ontbijt en vriendelijke personeel.

Sehr geschmackvolle, schöne kleine Unterkunft mit 6 Zimmer, schönen Pool & toller Umgebung und ruhig. Kleiner Tempel vor der Unterkunft, morgens kommen dann die Tempelbesucher am Haus vorbei. Sehr herzliches Personal. Liegt etwas am Rand von Sidemen, aber mit dem Scooter alles kein Thema. Mit Blick auf Reisterrasen und viel Grün. Restaurant gut und alles vorhanden. Ich würde es sofort wieder buchen.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit gutem Blick über die Reisfelder. Das Personal gibt sich viel Mühe und hilft Touren zu organisieren! Einfaches aber gutes Frühstück! Sehr ruhig.

Das Homestay liegt etwas außerhalb dadurch ist die Anbindung nach Sidemen mit Taxi und Grab etwas schwierig. Am besten fährt man selbst Scooter.

We hadden echt prachtige kamers. We reisden met onze 2 tienersdochters en hadden de 2 bovenste kamers. Prachtige uitzicht, groot terras en de kamer zelf was heel ruim. We vonden dit echt het mooiste uitzicht vanuit onze kamer van heel onze reis. We zijn hier meerdere keren blijven eten omdat het hotel wel afgelegen is. Het is een kleine kaart, maar vonden alles lekker. Vriendelijk personeel.

Wat een prachtige locatie tussen al het groen! Het zwembad was heel mooi en heerlijke bedjes. De villa zelf was ook groot! Het personeel was super lief. We hadden via de accommodatie en scooter gehuurd, dat vinden wij een aanrader.

Het was een beetje gehorig, je zit dicht langs een weg waar veel vrachtverkeer voorbij komt. En uiteraard hoor je insecten/dieren en de mensen die op het land werken. Allemaal niet heel storend, maar weet wel dat je niet volledig in de rust zit 😊

Dit was de fijnste plek van onze rondreis door Java en Bali. Prachtige grote kamers met uitzicht vanaf ons balkon op de groene vallei voor ons. De mensen zijn super aardig en wij hebben iedere dag lekker bij hun gegeten en ook een cooking class gedaan. Heerlijk! Bed is groot en comfortabel en aan alle gemakken is gedacht.

De gastvrijheid, het prachtige uitzicht en het heerlijke zwembad! Het team stond 4 dagen voor ons klaar om er een top verblijf van te maken en dat is gelukt!

De mooie ligging in de rijstvelden en het prachtige uitzicht. Het personeel is ook fantastisch.

De kamers waren minder geïsoleerd waardoor je het lawaai van buitenaf goed hoorde. Dit waren vooral de brommers. Door de speten tussen de deuren kwam er al eens een hagedis in de kamer.

I almost hesitate to give this place too much praise, because I want to keep it my little secret. But honestly, we REALLY enjoyed our stay here. But you need to know what it is and what it isn't. First, what it is. It is a great, quiet place to relax and experience Bali countryside living. It is surrounded by farmland. There is a nice path leading from their building directly into the fields. We had so much fun exploring that path and talking with the farmers as they were working their crops. One farmer even gave us each a "cucu" (cucumbers) he had just harvested. So this place is perfect for people who are looking to get away from the tourist crowds and experience a slower, more "local" vibe. Now, what it isn't: It isn't close to much, in terms of restaurants or shops. There is a convenience store about a 5-10 minute walk away, and a very local warung/general store next door (they make a delicious nasi goreng). But not much else. The main center of Sidemen is about 4-5km away, and there you will find more restaurants and shops. We walked it, but I wouldn't recommend that for most people. It was all uphill, and the narrow road left little room to dodge all the dump trucks, cars, and scooters. Instead, you can rent a scooter from the hotel for a reasonable price. We should have done that. Overall, this place was wonderful.

Honestly, the food at the hotel was just okay. Not bad, but nothing too special.

Amazing view, nice wooden furnishings, good food, friendly staff, great pool. The manager picked me up in Candidasa and arranged a tour of the ricefields. Nothing is too much trouble. It is worth staying for the view from the balcony, outstanding!

A bin is needed in the room, hardly worth mentioning but there was only one in the bathroom so when making tea I had to find the bin.

Établissement situé à proximité des rizières de Sidemen, un peu plus excentre de la ville mais tout de même parfait pour se reposer. Le système de climatisation était très bon, le petit déjeuner était bon et classique. Superbe piscine vue sur les rizières

I think Ume Dukuh Home is the perfect place to discover magic spots in Bali and to relax and enjoy. The bed was so confortable, the swimming pool incredible, the food in the restaurant so good and specially all the staff so kind and helpful. Gede was the perfect local guide, driver and person to ask anything about the island. We are coming back for sure and recommend our friends to visit Ume Dukuh Home in Sidemen.

De ligging midden in de sawa's. Je loopt er vanaf het hotel gelijk in en staat midden in het leven van de locals. Het eten was er ook heerlijk.

Wow I loved this place. The view when you wake up, the comfort, the charm of the place.. I slept with the windows wide open to enjoy the freshness and the sound of the insects at night. I rented a scooter there, it was fair-priced and super quality. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It is a bit hard to access (small rice-field path). It’s part of the charm but would not recommend if you have problem walking or using the scooter in these types of paths.

Amazing stay. The owner picked me up on his scooter late at night to help me find a key that I lost. Very kind staff. Beautiful spacious room with an epic view away from any main ride and the business of town. I loved my time here and highly recommend though you will need a scooter or to call for a ride in order to get into town.

De gastvrijheid, de hoffelijkheid en de warmte van de eigenaren is zo bijzonder en lief. Niets is teveel voor ze.

Je krijgt niet standaard schone handdoeken daar moet je wel even om vragen l.

De ligging is prachtig. Wij hadden een kamer boven en dan heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de rijstvelden. Het zwembad is heel fijn. Er ware voldoende schone handdoeken; zowel om te douchen als aparte handdoeken voor het zwembad. De airco op de kamer is heel fijn. We hebben een tocht gemaakt via het hotel; de organisatie was dramatisch (daarover hieronder meer), maar de chauffeur die ons reed was heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam en reed goed.

Verschillende dingen vielen ons op: Het is een 4 sterren hotel, maar de kasten waren scheef en sloten niet. Er is een boiler van 15 liter voor de douche en dat is krap aan met twee personen. De kamer werd niet schoongemaakt. Het was ons ook niet gevraagd, maar eigenlijk waren we ervan uit gegaan dat dat zou gebeuren. Het leek alsof er twee flesjes halve liters water op de kamer stonden, maar één bleek leeg. De flesjes werden niet aangevuld. Het hotel heeft een klein restaurant, overzichtelijk zou je zeggen, maar het duurde heel lang voordat de bestelling kwam. Het maken van de rekening bij het uitchecken duurde eveneens eindeloos, terwijl we een tijdstip om te vertrekken hadden afgesproken en het hotel de transfer verzorgde. Ze bieden een transfer naar Sidemen aan, maar die kost 200.000 RP; niet in verhouding met een transfer naar het het hotel in Ubud die 450.000 RP kostte en ook door het hotel verzorgd werd. Het meest onaangename van ons twee daagse verblijf was de organisatie van onze dagtour. De dag voor we aankwamen hadden we via WhatsApp (dus schriftelijk) een tocht langs bezienswaardigheden afgesproken die zou eindigen met een tour door de restvelden, die zij tegen betaling aanbieden. De dag van aankomst vertelde de eigenaar dat de tocht door de rijstvelden een wandeling op eigen gelegenheid zou worden. De chauffeur zou ons afzetten en dan konden we zelf wandelen. Dat is toch echt wat anders dan een guided tour. Aanvankelijk hield hij voet bij stuk, wilde de prijs ook niet naar beneden doen (de dagtocht zonder de rijstvelden) en pas toen we na veel heen en weer praten en schrijven zeiden dat we wel wat anders zouden zoeken, bood hij aan een locale gids te regelen. We waren toen (niet gelogen) twee uur verder en onze rustige avond was verloren gegaan. De locale gids was er ook op de dag van de tour en de tour was best aardig, maar niet wat we hadden verwacht.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything was perfect and we extended for 1 more night. You can rent scooters at the location. There is good breakfast everymorning. The staff is very friendly and we chose this place to book a cooking class, which was wonderful and really tasty. The chef was very kind aswell. We also got to meet the owner, who was so kind to drive us to padang bai ferry and helped us get a ticket when we left to go to the gili islands. We hope we can come back soon!

Fantastisch uitzicht vanaf ons balkon. Vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Grote schone kamer met een heerlijk groot bed. Aanrader! Wij zouden hier zeker terug gaan.

Het ligt bijna 5 km van het centrum dus je hebt echt een scooter nodig. Die kun je daar huren. De douchegarnituur is echt aan vervanging toe. Maar verder een prima schone badkamer.

Mais surtout, un immense merci au personnel : toujours souriant, attentionné et prêt à aider à tout moment. Leur gentillesse fait vraiment toute la différence ❤️ Un endroit que je recommande les yeux fermés !

Прекрасне місце для тотольного перезавантаження!!! Дуже все сподобалося! Прекрасний краєвид, чистота, зручне ліжко, класна ванна кімната, дуже смачні і повноцінні сніданки, приємний перонал, теплий басейн і дуже доглянута територія! На території є смачний варунг, ми тут вечеряли і залишилися задоволені. Ми продовжили наше перебування на декілька днів, тому що не хотілося їхати з цього прекрасного місця!

Heerlijke plek. Prachtig uitzicht over de rijstterrassen. In de verte hoorde ik af en toe zachtjes zingen en gamelan muziek van ceremonies. Het eten is heerlijk en personeel super vriendelijk.

A recent and cozy structure with a wonderful view on the rice fields. The personnel is very attentive and helpful in any circumstances. We also liked the project behind. Gede, is a young and clever entrepreneur with a fair approach to the business and a true talent for hospitality. Highly recommended!

De locatie is wat verder gelegen dan het centrum van Sidemen, een scooter is dus wel nodig want er zijn geen voetgangerspaden. Het uitzicht vanuit het appartement is geweldig! Midden in het rijstveld en tussen de bergen. Ook fijn dat er een zwembad was voor algemeen gebruik.

Tout était exceptionnellement bien. L’emplacement calme pour voir les rizières et l’ancien Bali. L’équipe est fun et très respectueux. J’ai pu avoir un massage et un conducteur guide exceptionnel Gede, je recommande vivement. La cuisine simple et très bonne. Il y’a même du vin pour les connaisseurs. Tester l’Arak 😜. Je penses y retourner car la région est tellement préservée encore. Vous n’avez juste qu’à vous baladez et découvrir. Merci à l’hôtel

Absolument tout est très bien, la chambre est belle, très classe et très propre. On mange très bien au restaurant de l’hôtel et le personnel est vraiment très gentil. La vue est incroyable sur les rizières et la piscine est magnifique.

Staying here was such a peaceful experience. The view from the rooms and property looking over the rice fields and mountains is stunning. The staff here made us feel so well cared for. The room felt extremely clean and very updated and modern. The owner even helped us with rides and excursions. We enjoyed the breakfast each day, and ate at the property restaurant for several meals as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sidemen and are so glad we stayed at Ume Dukah!

Very stylish room (we had the upstairs room) with amazing views over the new pool and gardens (and volcano too). Very well appointed . Lovely breakfast and had a divine massage in the garden Bure . Very helpful staff. Loved the retro couch (see photo) so cute! 1 km to little shops and Sideman Villa restaurant walkable) and 4 km to main town (which u also walked very happily.. saw lots including a festival procession and silver workshop. Didn’t see many other tourists at all.

We ate in the first night (yummy but simple food) .. so I’d recommend you don’t rely on that for all nights.

Beautiful location, superb service and kindness of staff with a „we make it possible“ attitude - a great place to visit.

Ci sono piaciute molto la tranquillità e la semplicità del luogo. La struttura si trova in mezzo alle risaie e dispone di una piscina spettacolare. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite. Tutto lo staff è stato molto disponibile ed accogliente. Spettacolare l'angolino massaggi all'aperto! Consigliatissimo per chi cerca puro relax e tranquillità!

Het uitzicht op de rijstvelden is werkelijk fenomenaal. Een groot levend schilderij wat voor je gebeurt. De werkers op de rijst en groenten velden zijn de hele dag bezig op hun stukje grond met veel liefde en passie. Wij verbleven op de verdieping waar je alles goed kon zien. Het kleinschalige ( 5 kamers) maakt het heel knus. We waren er 5 nachten en hebben elke avond in het restaurant gegeten. Het personeel maakten heerlijk de gerechten klaar. De kaart heeft genoeg opties. Kamers prima schoon en goed onderhouden

Tolle Lage mit Blick aus dem Bett (Charlotte 02) direkt auf den Pool und die Reisterrassen. Das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm, wie möglich zu gestalten.

Large room & ensuite overlooking the pool, rice fields & mountains, the view is outstanding. Room was better than expected, staying in a rural area. Friendly staff on hand to help with any requests. Short drive to the main village of Sideman. Good place to unwind after Ubud.

🌿 Ume Dukuh Home Sidemen – kousek ráje v přírodě Ubytování se nám moc líbilo. Vila byla nádherná, prostorná, s velkým pokojem, kuchyní, jídelnou a koupelnou s vanou i sprchovým koutem. Na terase bylo příjemné posezení, osvěžující bazén s výhledem na horu i rýžová pole a pohodlná lehátka. Krásná zahrada plná květin – prostě náš malý kousek ráje. Jídelna se nachází ve vedlejší budově v patře a nabízí nádherný výhled na hory i na majestátní horu Agung. Personál byl velmi milý a ochotný – jídlo i pití nám nosili přímo na vilu a zapůjčili nám i skútr (jen přilby už by zasloužily výměnu). Jídlo bylo chutné a čerstvé. Poznámka pro další hosty: Vila je otevřená do přírody, takže se mohou objevit gekoni, žáby nebo jiná zvířátka – jednou jsme dokonce zahlédli krysu v jídelně. My to bereme s úsměvem jako zážitek k vyprávění, ale pro ty, kdo se bojí nebo nemají rádi zvířata, je dobré s tím počítat. Je to součást kouzla přírody a otevřeného prostoru vedle rýžových polí. Celkově ale nádherné místo s atmosférou, klidem a krásnými výhledy. 🌾

Pro nás nic, pro někoho možná zvířátka, které se dostanou bez problémů do vilky. Upozornění pro další hosty: K ubytování se nedostanete autem – zastaví se u hlavní cesty, odkud je to asi 200 metrů pěšky. Personál na nás při příjezdu čekal a pomohl se zavazadly, při odjezdu už jsme si je nesli sami, ale nebyl to problém.

Een prachtig verblijf met warm en attent personeel. Elke ochtend genoten we in alle rust van het adembenemende uitzicht over de groene rijstvelden, een moment van pure ontspanning en schoonheid. Een ervaring die ons nog lang zal bijblijven!

The view is absolutely amazing and the pool area is beautiful — that was definitely the highlight of our stay.

Unfortunately, the rest wasn’t as good. The food in the restaurant was disappointing, and most of the time the receptionist wasn’t around because they were handling other tasks. The windows in the room aren’t fully covered, so lizards, ants, and other bugs easily come inside. We were also overcharged for a taxi — the hotel charged 200k for a round trip, telling us there was no GoGrab service available. Later, we found out there actually is GoGrab, and the same trip costs only 60k both ways.

Un vrai coup de coeur durant nos 3 semaines à Bali. La chambre et la sdb sont propres et très bien équipées. Le personnel est adorable et serviable. Et surtout, que dire de la vue. Une belle promenade dans les rizières au contact des habitants au pied de l'hôtel. A refaire sans hésiter.
