There are many bedrooms which fit our need for 5 people, but most of them are small because they are attics rooms.

Reviewed Oct 30, 2025La maison est très bien placée, au calme. L emplacement est idéal pour l observation des aurores boréales et de la nature environnante. Il y a une épicerie à proximité. Nous avons été très bien accueillie et Kathrin est très disponible et agreable. Merci !!

Reviewed Oct 23, 2024Loved the location, beautiful scenery and surroundings making it very relaxing and peaceful. The lodge was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. The host Kathrin was wonderful, helpful, kind, and very responsive to any questions we had. We got to see the auroras right from the back patio the first night we were there and also a beautiful rainbow one morning!!

Reviewed Jan 7, 2024We were amazed by the size of the place, we thought it would be cramp with 5 rooms but it did not feel cramp at all for the 5 of us. The house has all the utensils you need to cook, do note the fridge does not have a freezer but no issue for us as we were there during winter. Unfortunately we only saw the northern lights for a few minutes during our 3 nights stay and a very weak one too, due to cloudy skies, low solar wind and bright moon. Nonetheless the surrounding area was beautiful and we had the balcony to look out to the opposite side Katherine was very hospitable and responsive. She took great pride in decorating her place with all the Christmas decoration, lighted fireplace, candle light to welcome us. Definitely a place to book!

Reviewed Jan 6, 2023The lodge was really cosy with plenty of space for kids to play both indoors and outdoors. Kathlin was very accommodating and answered questions on time. The view out to the lake was amazing and you could enjoy the Northern Lights from the comfort of the lodge.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2022Kathy was an amazing host! She was thoughtful and brought sleds for the kids and set up a Christmas tree and lit candles in the snow to help with the holiday spirit. She was easy to contact when needed and responsive. She even helped with suggestions for how to spot wildlife. The area is breathtaking. It was far to travel to but I would do it again!
