The price for a night is very high. There is no sound proofing so you hear everything and you can be woken up at 5 am (as we were) because of someone.

Dryer didn’t really dry clothes efficiently. Blinds didn’t really make room dark during midnight sun, bring eye mask.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es weiterempfehlen. Gute Lage um Reine & Å i Lofoten zu besichtigen.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Das Haus liegt sehr schön gelegen, um in den Ort zu kommen geht man über eine Brücke. Die Inneneinrichtung ist sehenswert, man fühlt sich wie in einem Kapitänshaus, sehr schön. Die Küche konnte mitbenutzt werden, Kaffee und einige Lebensmittel waren vorrätig. Einen Dank an die Verwaltung und dem Hausmeister, sehr nette Leute.

The house was very warm the day we arrived. I later figured it out the heaters were on on a sunny, 22+ degC summer day. Not a big issue, but a disadvantage of not having staff in place.

Reviewed May 30, 2026This accommodation is exceptional as it is a very well preserved white manor house in the village where a lot of the cover photos from travel magazines like Lonely Planet, Geographic Channels are shot from the bridge just near it. There are also two bus stops in both directions very nearby. I even had the luck to witness two orcas as some passengers from two passing cars caught the sight of them and just stopped in the parking lot (same location as the bus stop) where/when I just got off the bus from a hiking tour one night. We climbed onto the rock at the beach near the village and I shot a video of the orcas. First time for me to see an orca! The owner has taken care to maintain and preserve cultural heritages as well as provide comfort for travelers with modern equipment and has even upgraded my room to a double one since I stayed a bit longer (but still not long enough:) What I find very unusual and memorable is the little booklet showing the history of the house, including one of the first telephones in Lofoten/Norway, which is displayed in the living room on the first floor. From both living rooms you can see the mini light tower (flashing indicating starboard/portside) embedded at the arc of the bridge below, where I observed also a bit closer during one kayak tour. Exactly the same view from my window but with aurora is also shown in the booklet, suggesting that I need to come another time to see the polar light! In the living room on the ground floor you have a nice view of the garden and I like the view with the dried stockfish hanging at the overhang, with seegull-shaped pendant lights at the front in the living room. It is really like a museum with a lot of details to discover.

第一晚可能住的人多，廚房的垃圾桶隔天早上垃圾都滿出來了

Hiustenkuivaajaa en löytänyt. Herkkäunisten kannattaa ottaa korvatulpat, koska mm. ovien avaus- ja sulkemisäänet kuuluvat.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026Đầy đủ tiện nghi Vị trí thuận tiện để check in những điểm nổi tiếng. Gần trạm xe bus nên bắt bus từ airport là sẽ tới ngày nhà. Nhà siêu dễ thương. Đầy đủ mọi tiện nghi ngoài sức mong đợi của tôi. Mọi ngóc ngách trong nhà đều có thể check in được. Hơn thế nữa từ trong nhìn ra ngoài là có thể thấy được view Reine rồi. Tôi đã có thể thấy cực quang 2 đêm liền ngay tại đây mà k cần phải đi đâu xa. Bếp, máy sấy, máy giặc, chén bát tất cả đều đầy đủ. Một điều mà tôi cũng hết sức bất ngờ mà k phải home châu Âu nào cũng có là sự chuẩn bị đủ thứ dầu gội sửa tắm cho khách. Quá là tuyệt vời. Phòng tôi ở riêng tư và rất dễ thương. Sẽ lựa chọn số 1 nếu tôi có cơ hội quay lại Hamnoy 🥰

A casa tem varanda, jardim, enfim, se eu vier novamente a ilhas Lofoten, certamente voltarei para a Manor House.

Są tylko cztery pokoje (na 7 gości) dwie łazienki, dwie dodatkowe toalety, kuchnia z dużym stołem, i dwa fantastyczne saloniki z widokiem na ogród i góry, otoczenie wyspy Hamnoy. Die Aufenthaltsräume ermöglichen genug Möglichkeiten, um sich auch außerhalb der Zimmer aufzuhalten. Das Haus ist wunderbar eingerichtet, die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und die Waschmaschine wie auch der Trockner sind netterweise auch nutzbar.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Die Lage des Manor House auf der kleinen Insel Hamnøy ist einmalig! Für mich der schönste Fleck auf den Lofoten. Im Haus ist alles sehr liebevoll gestaltet und sauber. Wir hatten einen tollen Blick auf die Berge. Es gibt genügend Toiletten und Bäder, sodass es kein Problem ist, dass man diese teilt. Die Küche war vollständig ausgestattet.
Da es ein altes Haus ist, ist es sehr hellhörig. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat könnte hier Probleme haben.
