Die Betreiber sind wahnsinnig nett und konnten tolle Tips geben, um Ausflüge mit eigenen 4x4 zu unternehmen.

Host were so friendly and helpful. Gave a wonderful set of recommendations for touring the national park. Everything was clean and breakfast was excellent.

Très bon accueil des hôtes. très bon emplacement à l'extérieur de Putre. Hébergement simple mais bien adapté au lieu. Putre est un village de montagne extraordinaire à 3500 m d'altitude au pied des hauts plateaux et des volcans. le site est magnifique et l'accès aux plateaux très facile en voiture.

El alojamiento es muy sencillo, está extremadamente limpio y bien cuidado. El desayuno es excelente y el personal es muy amable y simpático. La ubicación es muy tranquila, está justo a las afueras del pueblo, rodeado de naturaleza. No es necesario tener coche, ya que el centro de Putre se puede llegar fácilmente a pie.

Lo mejor es el servicio, la amabilidad y la alegría de Jimena y David, las personas encargadas de La Chakana.

Me gustó todo. Como sugerencia, pienso que no vendrían mal unas tinajas tipo hot tubs. Serían un gran acierto!

Eigenlijk beviel alles ons. Een tip voor reizigers die komen: neem voldoende thermokleding mee, ook voor binnen. Het wordt ‘‘s nachts erg koud binnen.

Great mountain view, clean and cool room, excellent breakfast. The owner, Andres is a kind and generous guy, he've done a lot to feel welcomed and also helped organizing farther steps of my travel in the area. Definitely recommended.

Excellent emplacement, légèrement à l'écart de la ville. La chambre était très confortable et le petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Mais c'est surtout l'accueil de Jimena et David, les gérants, qui ont rendu le séjour génial. Ils sont d'une prévenance et d'une gentillesse sans égal.

Destacar la atención de Jimena y David, muy lindas personas y amables. Y agradecer a Daniel por su comprensión. El lugar es hermoso, tiene una vista maravillosa, por la noche se puede apreciar un cielo estrellado, gracias a la poca contaminación lumínica del lugar. Todo muy grato y cómodo. Rico desayuno. Sin duda es un lugar para un escape de la Ciudad y desconectar. Muy recomendado.

Les deux personnes s'occupant de l'hébergement, l'accueil et du service étaient très gentils et serviables. Ils nous ont donnés de très bon conseils. Le déjeuner, qui en plus etait different chaque jour, était un vrai régal!.Je peux que recommander cet hébergement!

Excelente ubicación, fuera del pueblo, con un entorno ideal para la observación de aves y el disfrutar de la naturaleza. Varias especies de aves que habitualmente la gente busca en Putre están presentes en el predio del Lodge. Muy buena atención del personal, desayuno de gran calidad, y apoyo para resolver todos los inconvenientes.

Tout! Le calme, l'accueil, l'emplacement (on voit toute la vallée, c'est le meilleur spot de Putre). Aussi la possibilité d'utiliser la cuisine pour cuisiner. C'est un endroit parfait pour les familles, ou pour des gens à la recherche de calme. Les propriétaires sont toujours prêts à donner des conseils. Encore merci Jimena et David pour ce séjour.

Les hôtes David et Jimena sont adorables, serviables et de bons conseils. Nous avons passé 2h à discuter avec eux de nos différentes cultures. Ce sont des gens très accessibles et bienveillants. Nous sommes arrivés très en avance et avons pu disposer de la chambre. Le petit dej est top.

Peaceful properties a little bit outside the village (20 min walking) and fully in nature - truly beautiful! Jimena and David are super nice and attentive as well!

Couple of things that could be improved are adding some long chairs / hammock on the external area, to make it even more enjoyable, and support from the lodge in coordinating with tour agencies

Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Die Lage ist zwar etwas außerhalb aber toll um am Abend Sterne zu beobachten. Tolle Aussicht auf die Berge. Der bolivianische Kaffee war sehr gut.

Wunderschöne Ruheoase mit tollem Blick. Jimena und David sind super freundlich und haben uns viele gute Tipps zu Unternehmungen gegeben. Mit Heizung und warmen Decken haben wir auch in kalten Nächten bestens geschlafen.

La struttura è immersa nella natura e leggermente separata dal centro del paese. David e Jimena sono gentilissimi e disponibili per qualsiasi cosa, sono molto attenti ad ogni esigenza e questo dona molto “calore” al soggiorno. La colazione è buona e completa.

L’arredamento della struttura non è molto curato ed è un po’ anonimo e freddo (tavolo, pavimento, bagno…). Sarebbe bello se fosse arredato con elementi più rustici e con personalità. Date per scontato la presenza di insetti essendo immerso nella natura. Durante l’inverno altipianitico può fare freddo.

The couple running this place are amazing . Very helpful. Lots of great advice and even gave us a big can of diesel to take on our road trip in case we needed it ( we didn't use it and the took it back with no charge)

Die Anlage liegt sehr ruhig und idyllisch am Rand des Dorfes mit einer herrlichen Aussicht. Jemina und David führen die Lodge sehr umsichtig und freundlich. Die Cabana ist großzügig, sauber, die Betten sind bequem. Das Bad ist geräumig. Im Januar wird es nachts sehr kalt. Es gibt einen Heizer und dicke Decken, die auch nötig sind. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig.

One kilometre to the centre of Putre is on this hight a little bit far

My dear friend Jimena was really nice and she made me feel at home. I learnt a little of Spanish before arriving to putre and she helped me learning it more. Breakfast on the second day was great. The first day was a little bit too small

A set of chalets in the outskirts of Putre with a reasonable standard. Relatively spacious rooms with essentially basic but convenient setting (accommodating up to 4 persons), free parking next to each chalet, also seemingly basic but good and enjoyable breakfast, very friendly host and hostess.

Slighly detached from the city centre of Putre; probably OK for cycling but a little bit too long for walking in this high-altitude location. No problems if you are driving a car.

Accueil familial très agréable, bien situé avec une vue magnifique

Petit bungalow mais suffisamment spacieux, situé sur un promontoire permettant d'avoir une belle vue sur les montagnes; c'est simple, c'est rustique, mais c'est suffisant en particulier si on fait une étape à Putre; les bungalows sont tenus par un couple très serviable; le petit déjeuner tout à fait réussi est servi dans le bungalow qui fait office de cuisine et de salle à manger.

We liked the room with a beautiful view, very spacious and comfy bed. Nice with a heater for the cold night. Very calming environment.

Since the price is extremely high we expected a bit more service and flexibility. The breakfast was ok, but when we asked for some more cheese we were met with resistance and when we asked for a toilet after check out it was impossible. No big stuff but all the small things made us feel uncomfortable staying in common space, instead of welcomed.

Ruhige Lage am Ortsrand, Zentrum mit 10 minütlichen Spaziergang zu erreichen. Lodge sehr sauber, alles notwendige war vorhanden. Umfangreiches und sehr gutes Frühstück. Personal äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, haben für kurzfristig eine Tpur mit Calitours zum Salar de Surire organisiert. Vielen Dank für die großartigen Tage!

Le abitazioni sono semplici ma molto confortevoli, immerse nella natura, poco fuori dal centro. David e Jimena sono persone molto accoglienti, disponibili e simpatiche che ci hanno fatto sentire a casa (oltre ad averci aiutato con cose pratiche come il rifornimento di diesel). Il nostro soggiorno a Putre è stato davvero bello! Consigliato!!

La camera era molto pulita e anche gli asciugamani erano in ottimo stato. L’acqua calda funzionava perfettamente, contrariamente a quanto avevo letto in alcune recensioni che mi avevano un po’ preoccupata. La colazione è davvero ottima e la posizione è molto comoda se si dispone di un mezzo: noi avevamo la macchina e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La vista è molto bella e lo staff è cordiale, disponibile e pronto ad aiutare in qualsiasi momento. Ho apprezzato molto anche il fatto che ci fosse sempre a disposizione acqua calda, tisane, tè e foglie di coca per l’altitudine. Molto utile anche la cucina in comune, sempre aperta, che permette di preparare ciò che si desidera quando si vuole.

Dalle foto mi aspettavo qualcosa di più: l’ambiente risulta un po’ più semplice e vissuto rispetto a come appare online. Il bagno purtroppo presenta tracce scure nella doccia che sembrano muffa ormai permanente, dettaglio che stona con la pulizia del resto della stanza. Anche la vista del lodge numero 1 non è la migliore, perché si affaccia sul lato meno gradevole della struttura. Un grande lato negativo sono le lenzuola del letto che purtroppo non sono di cotone ma sono sintetiche e quando ci si muove nel letto creano scintille stando a contatto con la coperta di lana cotta riposta al di sopra. Lenzuola grande punto negativo.

The cottages are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Shower has hot water, and there is a heater in the room. It is very quiet, beds are comfortable. It is about a 12 minute walk to downtown, but it is an easy walk. We were able to leave our bags before check-in. Breakfast is very good with toast, cheese, sliced meat, jams, coffee and tea. One day we had eggs.

The rating would be higher than 8 if not for the increased fee at check-in. She charged us $5USD more per night than our Booking.com rate. She said it wasn't a VAT fee, as we had assumed, but she said the rate on Booking.com is wrong. Well, that's not my problem if she put the wrong rate. Anyway, she would not honour the rate we booked the room, and we find this very unethical and sneaky. I will report it to Booking.com.

Wir waren je 2 Personen in 2 Zimmern. Beim Frühstück musste man alles zusätzlich bestellen. Man musste fragen für Butter, Konfiture. Käse, Schinken gab es nur für 3 Personen.

I expected a hostel stay in order to be close to the volcano park. Rooms were as expected for hostel levels. Couple who ran the place were very kind and friendly. Loved the breakfast as a group in the morning.

Just dated and older in places like bathrooms.

J'ai adoré l'endroit, la vue et le logement ! Le petit dejeuner était tres bien aussi ! Mais surtout, ce qui est à retenir fut la gentillesse et la sympathie de Jimena et David durant notre séjour. Nous avons rencontré des problèmes et à chaque fois ils ont été d'une aide indispensable voire vitale. Merci beaucoup et à bientot !

The accommodation was one enormous room, very cold. A couple of old heaters were provided but were inadequate for the space. Poor cooking facilities. Road access difficult, good thing we had a 4x4 pickup.

Wonderful setting in the Mountains. Comfortable beds. Wonderful, healthy breakfast. Mate de coca from Bolivia (real coca leaves tea). Helpful friendly hosts. Located on an Aymara Village that has been inhabited for over 10,000 years. Quaint town with a single rain-drain channel in the middle of the road, as opposed to the sides. Practical and cute!

Hard to find, following dirt roads. The electrical heater help but was not sufficient to make the room comfortable. Lodge is warm during the day but VERY cold at night.

Jimena and David are wonderful hosts who welcome you to their lodge just outside the village of Putre. They always took loving care of me. It's a great place to rest one's mind and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Everything was spotlessly clean and Jimena lovingly prepared a fresh breakfast.

The two economy double rooms are somewhat noisy due to the typical construction style of the region. However, this small restriction should not occur in the bungalows.

Loved the friendly welcome and staff. Made us feel welcome and at home. Location suited us as we wanted some peace out of the bustling towns/cities. Unfortunately the wall wasn’t very sound proof, but not the end of the world. Breakfast was delightful!
