Reviewed Sep 8, 2026On arrival we were slightly confused about the access arrangements to the building but a quick call to the phone number on the door and a helpful person gave us the necessary codes. A text had been sent a few hours earlier from the owner but we had not picked that up. . All other facilities superb and just a few paces from Dillans restaurant and Dunnes Store.
Room 3 was excellent with our only comments being a need for a label/sign to advise where the isolator switch for the electric shower was ( behind the TV screen !!) and the fact that the hot water tap was lukewarm at best

Keine Gepäckablagen, nur 1 Stuhl (den 2. mussten wir dazu holen). Kein Tisch, nur 1 Löffel. Keine Kleiderhaken und nur 3 Bügel. Im Badezimmer fehlten Handtuchhaken. Der Teppich hatte deutliche Laufspuren.

Car park behind the lodge is bit dodgy. I was late coming to this property hence found difficulty in contacting the property. The name of this property is Lodge (not Ballina Lodge). Its Dillon's Bar and restaurant and Lodge.

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026Second time staying. Couldn’t get a better location for Ballina. Responsive, friendly team and easy check-in process. Fridge in room was handy. WiFi is great.
Room 4 is on ground floor with lovely big windows so needs a sheer curtain - or everyone can see in and it’s a shame to block out light by pulling main curtains. Radiator in bathroom is very rusty and the shower needs a new seal and mould treatment.

The shower did not work and when I left a message on the website to call me and deal with the situation, I received no response and still have received no response. The problem was that the shower was not working - which can happen - but my request to call me and rectify the situation was ignored.

Towel rail in bathroom dirty and covered with rust. Nowhere to hand clothes in the bathroom no shelf in shower to put soap shampoo etc on.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026The room was perfect and nice. Only problem I had with the shower it was slippy need to put down a non slip mat inside and outside of the shower.
Only problem I had I drove around a few times to find the place with the Eircode but we could not see it as the name of it was on the gate and the gate was opened back. Think the name should be on the wall outside. Other than thank Kathleen was nice she rang me back to direct me.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Room was comfortable, smart tv equipped with several viewing options, biscuit selection with the tea is a welcoming touch. Staff is remote and not always on staff but they are always responsive and amazingly helpful.
I liked everything. My stay was during a heat wave. And I found myself wishing for a mini fridge to store the water & iced teas I'd brought. The room temperature was comfortable the breeze off the river was lovely.
