Molyka Lodge

The hospitality was perfect. The owner and staff are enjoyable every moment they provide service. The food was delicious and plentiful. And above all, the manager Kiri makes you feel like you are part of the family. It was so great that I am sure I will go back there again

We were so well looked after by Mr Kiri and the staff here. He cooked an incredible breakfast for us and helped us with our onward travel to Vietnam. The pool was great after 3 days trekking in the jungle. Perfect place to stay for some rest and recuperation in Banlung.

Loved the big pool where we can really swim and we also enjoyed a late checkout. Kiri went out of his way to please us by offering fresh fruits near the pool, preparing good portions of local breakfast with real fruit juice. The food is really tasty, especially the "pbor" with lots of ingredients which is the best porridge I've ever eaten during my whole three-week stay in various cities and towns in Cambodia. He prepared sandwiches and water when we left whereas we didn't ask for anything. He helped us book also a tuk-tuk in order to see the waterfalls and the high-up 360 degrees vista with a Buddha statue. All in all, it was a great stay thanks to our host.

No hot water in the shower but given the high temperature outside, it didn't bother me. Be ready to be awakened early in the morning by some animal cries but it's also part of the "jungle" feel. There were some dead mosquitoes on one of the beds: no big deal as my daughter slept with me. On the downside, there was a weird incident after checkout, where he called our tuk-tuk to come back whereas we had already paid everything in cash before leaving with a tip: he was glad to receive the tip which he said enabled him to pay his staff some extra-money for the New Year. Luckily, after reminding him that we've already paid in cash, he acknowledged his mistake and apologized but because of that incident we wasted some time whereas we thought that we would arrive in advance to take the night bus. Finally, we arrived just in time so it was a happy ending after all this stress.

I really enjoyed the service. I felt I was a guest in a 5* Hotel. The offered hibiscus drink was super refreshing. All the time cold bottled water exactly needed after hot day and the food there is outstanding. its the first time since one year Asia i was over eaten as well from breakfast as for dinner. the pizza in the wooden oven something very special for Asia. By beginning at the check-in thing's didnt worked out well but. thing's sometimes goes wrong but that can happen, important is to make it out again and i truly felt they did. Thank you for the Taxi one more time. if you are in the region i think its the place with the overall best package.

The host Kiri was absolutely lovely and tended to any and all wishes we had including really good vegetarian breakfast and dinner. The lodge is pretty and very comfortable and the view from the terrace is stunning!

The staff was possibly the most hospitable I’ve ever encountered on a trip. I can’t say enough nice things about the way this hotel takes care of its guests. It’s truly remarkable hospitality.

The host was very welcoming. The food we had was delicious. The breakfast was excellent. The lodges are basic. You are in nature. The pool was lovely.

Expect some insects. We had a problem with ants that was dealt with.

The staff knew what we needed before we did. We were always greeted with cold water, the breakfast was amazing, filling and exactly what we needed. Anything we didn't eat was packed up to snack on for the day. We felt very well cared for and we were given great advice on what we could do in the area.

We loved everything about our stay at Molyka Lodge. The rustic, beautifully decorated lodge, the many seating areas in the wonderful garden, the huge pool and the local children enjoying themselves, the lush green surroundings, our beautiful room, the proximity to the lovely lake etc. But above all we would like to thank Kiri for making the days at the lodge so outstanding and memorable for us. His hospitality, his engaging nature, his cooking skills, his professionalism are outstanding! Kiri also organized bicycles and a tuktuk tour for us, spoiled us with incredibly delicious sandwiches and got us our connecting bus tickets in a very comfortable bus. I hope we'll see you again somewhere!

Everything was perfect.

Our host Kiri took very good care of us! He knew that western tourists have difficult to eat in the local restaurants and thats why he served very giant size tasty breakfast that kept us unhungry until our evening meal. We also loved the juice he made. When we left for Laos he gave us sandwiches to the road because he knew there is nothing to eat. He also spoke perfect English, arranged us s bike and told us everything we needed to know. The swimming pool was beautiful and big.

The room was well equipped with table chair, fridge, and large bathroom with a rain shower. I loved the big swimming pool, the deck outside our room with a table and chairs. Friendly and helpful host who is very generous with meals giving us large portions and free water.

The staff were friendly and the pool looked inviting (couldn’t use due to a storm). The food at the restaurant served some of the best food we have eaten in Cambodia.

The room was not clean, with dead and live ants in the bed and on the pillows. We had to clean before using the bed. The mattress was very springy and too hard to sleep on. There was no toilet paper which the owner rectified.

The good thing is that they will give anything they borrow.

Everything in the hotel is particularly shabby，The place where you live is generally short and you can't see the distance，There is no daily room service，Basically, we ask the waiter what they want before they give it.The price is a bit high, not worth it.Suggest choosing another place，I won't put the photo because it's really bad.

I stay 10-11 Sep.and pay hotel directory. Then 25 Sep. I got message from booking.com. It said that “” your reservation was changed”.I want to because I didn’t have any booking now . I showthe status that I cancel the room =charge cancel fee from my credit card. Actually I was in there and I paid directly to the hotel. Why The hotel try to double charge after two weeks?

The overall ambience of Molyka is charming. It's a tremendous place to relax in the immediate surroundings of blissful countryside. Many opportunities present themselves in the region to make lifelong memories.

We (a group of 6 people) stayed at Molyka lodge for 4 nights. The food at this place is sensational, with so much depth in quality and flavour, also catering for the vegan in the party. We normally eat out at different venues but that never happened once during our stay. The accommodation is located about 5min tuk tuk drive from the centre of Banlung or a 15min walk around either side of the lake. You can arrange any activities from this place whether it be hiking or elephant riding, Molyka lodge provides and convenient setting. The other positive is the swimming pool which few places have locally. The views from Molyka are also immense, right across the valley showing lush landscapes. We visited in July, which is rainy season. While mosquitoes are present we were by no means swarmed as can be the perception when reading around. The accommodation is rustic and you can full hear nature.

We love the personal service by the owner and staff. My daughter even had personal time with him bringing around the garden.

Very luxurious pool, and the bungalows were lovely and homey. Showers were hot but pressure could have been better. we really really enjoyed our stay and the owner went above and beyond in helping us out, renting mopeds and bringing them to the lodge etc. we definitely would stay there again and will be recommending to a friend!!

Great breakfast. nice located in nature so you really have a nice view from your room, bird sounds in the morning. The owner was really friendly and helpful.

The mosquito net was not placed ideally, so we had to struggle a bit about that, but nothing else to remark
