We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment. The accommodation was exceptionally well equipped – modern, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, and it truly lacked nothing. It was by far one of the best-equipped holiday apartments we have ever stayed in. We were also pleasantly surprised by the generous selection of food, drinks, and other essentials provided, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The host was extremely generous, friendly, and always willing to help. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely love to come back!

Alles war tip top. Der Gastgeber ist ausserordentlich freundlich, grosszügig und zuvorkommend. Er ist uns jederzeit zur Verfügung gestanden. Er hat uns sogar noch weitere Reiseziele empfohlen. Ausserdem war der Kühlschrank voll mit Köstlichkeiten und wir waren somit rundum super versorgt. Die Einrichtung war luxuriös und liebevoll eingerichtet, mit vielen Extras und es hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit modernen Geräten und ein toller Balkon liessen absolut nichts vermissen. Die Räumlichkeit ist grosszügig bemessen.

Nichts, alles war toll.

Ein Traum von Unterkunft.. es hat an nichts gefehlt... Noch nie, und das meine ich so, fühlte ich mich wie fast schon zu Hause oder auch besser gesagt: Endlich mal ein Gastgeber der weiss was es heisst, Gäste zu empfangen, zu betreuen, und dem es nicht zu schade ist auch für dich als Gast, wenn es an etwas fehlen würde, es zu besorgen... Wir werden nur noch bei Otto in die Ferien gehen, da braucht es keine Flüge ins Ausland oder sonstiges.. wenn das Beste liegt so Nah... 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝👍👍👍👍👍

L’appartement est très confortable et très bien décoré. La vue est magnifique! Le propriétaire est super sympathique. Le séjour était top.

Otto bietet eine wirklich sehr spezielle Unterkunft an, sehr luxuriös und High-Tech. Was aber den Unterschied macht ist dass wirklich einfach alles erdenkliche vorhanden ist und gebraucht werden darf. Hochwertige Produkte durchwegs, von Hygieneartikeln über verschiedenste Esswaren bis zu guten Tropfen zum Trinken, es hat alles. Wenn man möchte kann man sehr leicht auch noch einen spektakulären Heli-Rundflug zu den 4000er der Region machen. Einmalig!

Die Unterkunft ist modern und luxuriös, wer etwas heimeliges und charmantes sucht ist anderswo besser aufgehoben.

Miejsce tak niesamowite że aż nierealne! Cudowny widok , cicha i spokojna okolica, mega nowoczesny obiekt z ogromną ilością różnych bajerów i udogodnień , kuchnia pełna jedzenia za które się nie dopłaca, mega nowoczesnie i orginalnie, przemiły właściciel który służy pomocą. Gdybym wiedział że tam jest tak cudownie to bym zarezerwował tam więcej nocy, jestem pewien że jeszcze tam kiedyś wrócę , a jeszcze nigdy nie zdarzyło mi się żebym chciał wrócić w to samo miejsce. Nawet się nie zastanawiaj tylko rezerwuj a będziesz zachwycony pod każdym względem! Możliwość wynajęcia helikoptera który ląduje dosłownie za naszym oknem;) Do tej pory jestem pod wrażeniem tego czego tam doświadczyłem :)

Amazing stay! The apartment was spotless, stylish, and equipped with everything possibly needed. One of the best host ever, Otto, went above and beyond — truly exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended!

Super Service, grandiose Ausstattung, einfach fantastisch - man kommt an und hat alles, was man braucht!

Nichts

Otto, fully stocked up the fridge with food and drinks. The wine fridge was stocked up and had champagne, prosecco, red and white wine. We didn't have to leave the place to go and buy food which saved us a lot of money! I am pescatarian and he provided salmon and fish fillet! There was veg and non veg food stocked up. He has a lot of seasoning too! It is a 15 min walk from Stalden-Saas station, however if Otto is around he will pick you up or drop you off. We came here as we wanted to do a pre-wed photo shoot. The owner has lots of connections including having a helipad on his property. So we did a Zermatt helicopter tour for 1,000 CHF. I would definitely come back with just me and my partner to relax as we were so busy with out photoshoot.

Otto is great, he accommodated all of my requests for food and drinks, the place has an amazing view and wherever you go you won't be disappointed. Our pilot was very fun, can't recommend it enough.

The host of this place Otto is a very energetic, hospitable and generous person. He tries not just meet your expectations, but exceed them, that’s why we felt like very welcomed guests. Otto picked us up from the train station, drove to supermarket in Visp, and he also offered to drive us to nice cosy restaurant in mountains but we decided not to go and relax in lodge. We had everything - fridge full with food, Lindt chocolates and drinks, 2 big TVs with Netflix, nice terrace, great sound system, comfortable bed and as a present to bring home - bottle of champaign. It was great stay and we hope to return again! Thank you, Otto!

A wonderful place with amazing views out the windows on the edge of the gorge. High end facility thoroughly thought through. Most importantly Otto is a caring and generous host that you don’t come by often. Highly recommended and hope to be back soon. Thank you Otto !!

Delightfully friendly host who was very easy to contact. Highly equipped accomodation with state-of-the art domotics. We had a wonderful stay!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Black Rock to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It was top notch from the get go and didn’t disappoint in anyway. Otto the owner certainly pays attention to detail. He met us promptly at the accommodation with a bottle of wine, fully stocked fridge and detailed explanation of how to operate appliances, sauna, etc. Everything was spotless and quality built, which made for a very comfortable stay. In addition, the location is spectacular. Nestled in a mountainside close to Zermatt and Montreux it makes for a perfect place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city or launching pad for a day trip to the Matterhorn. Upon checkout Otto surprised my husband with a parting gift, an assortment of Swiss beer knowing he was a beer connoisseur. If your travels takes you this way you must stay here!

everything. this place really amazing also the owner very friendly he took us to zermatt by his car . also he put many food in the fridge. he’s generous and humble person. the place is very nice and so beautiful view and you can make trip by helicopter after arrangement with the owner. thank you the black rock. I well return for sure to the black rock
