Tout était parfait

L’emplacement exceptionnel, c’est l’endroit parfait pour séjourner à Grand Baie les pieds dans l’eau. Petite structure de 12 personnes maximum. Jardin magnifique.

Utrolig avslappende plass å bo i Grand Baie. Nydelig strand og egne solsenger. Herlig overbygd stor terrasse. Ekstra service at vi fikk klærne vasket og nytt vann hver dag.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier wirklich sehr genossen. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Mühe sich die Gastgeber geben, damit man sich wohlfühlt. Jeder, von den Gastgebern bis zu den Reinigungsdamen und dem Gärtner, ist bemüht, den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen! Besonders schön fanden wir, dass jeden Tag frisches gefiltertes Wasser ins Zimmer gebracht wurde und das Apartment täglich gereinigt wurde. Auch dass unsere Wäsche ohne Aufpreis gewaschen wurde, war ein unglaublich netter Service. Der Strand ist einfach traumhaft – sehr schön, ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Es gibt Liegen, und auch SUPs und Kajaks stehen zur Verfügung. Strandtücher wurden uns ebenfalls bereitgestellt, was sehr praktisch war. Das Apartment selbst ist wunderschön und sehr authentisch. Unser absoluter Lieblingsplatz war der Balkon mit dem Blick aufs Meer, dort zu sitzen war einfach herrlich. Ein besonderes Highlight war außerdem die Bootstour, die wir über einen Kontakt der Gastgeber machen konnten. Das war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Und natürlich dürfen wir den süßesten Kater überhaupt nicht vergessen: Prince! Er hat unseren Aufenthalt noch ein Stück besonderer gemacht. Insgesamt haben wir uns hier sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Die Lage ist aussergewöhnlich mit privatem Strand und Liegen. Die Hausfee hat unsere Wohnung jeden Tag mit ihrer herzlichen Art verschönert. Nochmals lieben Dank dafür. Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Die Unterkunft – Lage, Ausstattung, Strand, Gastgeber – haben all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Wir können uns nur den bisherigen Bewertungen anschließen und bestätigen. Alles ist so, wie auf der Plattform beschrieben. Man kann sich so einen traumhaften Urlaubsplatz nur wünschen.

The location was unbeatable. Just steps away from the most idyllic beach, which had relatively little foot-fall. It felt like paradise. Coco-Fesse is tucked away in a quiet private garden, giving privacy and quietness. We had access to kayaks, barbeque, and a beachside shower to rinse the salt off. If you are looking for a trip out to see dolphins, turtles, whales or the northern islands, I would recommend asking the host for Robert's number - a fantastic guide who will pick you up in his boat from the beach. There are well-stocked shops, and excellent restaurants and bars within walking distance. The associated car rental and transfer service was excellent. The hosts and maids and gardener were all very friendly and kind, and it was nice to have a laundry service and the accommodation cleaned each day. When compared with other accommodation nearby, the value for money can't be beaten. We couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

The hosts are incredibly nice, the property is amazing with a lovely little garden, directly on a private, tranquil stretch of beach. The entire flat was cleaned daily, and access to the grand bay center is around 4 minutes by car. Perfect! Oh and their cat, Prince, is adorable!

That we didn't book a longer stay!!

Being able to swim in front of yr house on the island is a great luxury ,this house provides this Although ,every day cleaning house is great

It was the greatest accomodation I have ever had. Wonderful appartment with a beautiful garden and private excess to the beach with privat sunbeds for the guests. We loved to use the SUP and kayaks for free!! In the kitchen there is everything you need and we got fresh filtered water every day. Thank you very much for this spectacular stay!

You need a car - you can't just go out and walk around because there is just no walkway to be safe

Absolutely nothing

Convenient location. Comfortable rooms.

This is the best value for money you can find in Mauritius. If you go in winter (June-December), Grand Baye is the place to be (the rest is probably covered by clouds and under rain). No surprise properties on the beach in the area cost a ton of money. In comparison, Coconuts has a fantastic price, while lacking nothing of what the nearby hotels have to offer. You are on a private beach (super-clean, with reef accessible from the shore - just walk towards LUX and sweem in right after the little lagoon of black stones - the reef is 200 meters away, with all the corals and fish Mauritius has to offer to snorkellers). You are 8 minutes walk from a good restaurant, and 5 minutes drive from city center with plenty of shops and street food. The facility offers grill and has a kitchen, so you can just cook any meal. Unlike many other hotels I've been to which offered a kitchen, here you have salt, oil, and some spices available to use. There is a free (!) laundry service too, and the rooms are cleaned daily. Lux hotel bar with cocktails is just 1 minute walk away.

You can hear the cars passing by. But then, that is the case for all the hotels in that part of Mauritius, because of how the city is laid out.

Everything from the host to the location, the facilities, etc. Was literally perfect. The lovely hosts helped me to find several services at the best price in the city, and were particularly flexible and generous during my stay, and even beyond mt checkout. I strongly recommend Coconuts for any traveler to Grand Baie, Mauritius.

Not staying longer.

Such a beautiful haven of peace. Best beach and very accessible to shops and restaurants within walking distance. Such helpful hosts and lovely staff.

Spacious and clean accommodation, owners couldn't do enough to help. The private beach is perfect. Cleaning staff are very efficient and even did some laundry for no extra cost.

To get to the centre of Grand Baie it is about a 10 minute walk with some parts having no footpath

Exceptional accommodation. Perfect location with beautiful gardens and beach directly in front of the apartment. Bernard and Stephanie were the most amazing hosts. We felt like we were staying with family. We had the most amazing lady called Sumata (excuse my spelling), clean the apartment, and do our laundry. We will never forget our time at CocoNuts and Mauritius.

We stayed at Coconuts for 8 nights and hired a car (arranged through the property in advance of our stay) so we could travel around and see the real Mauritius for ourselves. The property is situated directly on a gorgeous beach within a 20 minute walk of the centre of Grand Baie which suited us down to the ground as we'd prefer to stay somewhere quiet. There are plenty of great restaurants, cafes and shops within 20-30 mins walk and most days, after returning from our travels in the car, we had had the beach area to ourselves. The property is clean, well equipped and comfortable and Bernard and Stephanie made us feel really welcome.

We really didn't have any complaints although we appreciate everyone is different and therefore some may find the location a little too far from the centre of Grand Baie. There isn't a proper pavement all the way along the road however we bought a small torch for our evening walk to/from Grand Baie and never once felt unsafe. The property is set in super pretty gardens so please remember to apply mosquito repellent if you're outside from dusk!

The flat was clean, spacious and located a few steps away from a lovely beach. Wonderful terrace with view on the garden/beach, ideal to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding the property. The hosts were very welcoming and kind.

Excellent location, beautiful private beach, garden, nice and exceptionally large apartment (2 bathrooms). Patio with seaview. Kitchen well equiped, maid coming in 6 days a week. 2 single kayaks at disposal.

There was definitelly nothing to complain about in Coconuts. The road behind the house did not bother us at all (there is a high wall) Just the weather in Mauritius in July was much colder, rainier and windier then expected (20-23 degrees and 10m/s) and it got dark fairly early (18:30). But this was definitelly the best location on the island considering the weather.
