The inside was clean and looked as advertised

1.Plumbing issues, from leaking geyser, blocked toiletS (plural), at some point no water at all.We had a restaurant reservation that were 1hr30 late for because there was no water and had to complain for some sort of communication and contingency 2.Incompetent, rude host. Even after checking out, Talitha called to ask about why 3 beds were slept on ,and yet on my booking it clearly showed it was 2 adults and 1 child.(Why couldn’t she just check before calling and being rude). On the booking site, it clearly mentions that parties are prohibited, but no mention of visitors not being allowed. My husband’s colleague came to drop off something and was there less than 30 minutes and yet Talitha called to say visitors aren’t allowed. I did mention to her that I did not see any mention of it but she was quite rude about it. And when she called, the guest had already left and I told her this, but she kept pestering me about this non-documented visitor policy. 3.Non-functional amenities-there’s a hot tub but it’s clearly not for use cause from arrival we tried to use it but first it was dirty, then it was drained and then the machine to refill it was broken. Edit: She is saying I did not communicate that we came with our daughter: The booking clearly says 2 adults, 1 child. Even on the call, I expressed that. Then she was like” I’m just making sure” Talitha never mentioned at no point that the geyser had popped, we just saw guys busy doing up and down and that’s when we found out. When these things happen, I expect the host to keep us updated, especially since I did mention in the morning that we had plans that day to go somewhere.The tub was emptied Wednesday at around 2pm, it was then refilled Thursday at around 3pm.Trying to minimise the issues and her unprofessionalism is just crazy on her part. The manner in which one communicates to paying guests matters. Never again.

The view is exactly what is advertised, The communication was excellent and even when the pod didn't have water in the morning the issue was resolved.

The pod has everything except an iron.

It is breathtaking and refreshing.

The bad is really hard. Please consider getting a softer one The couch is so hard and painful to sit on. Two chairs are broken m, they are a hazard for anyone who will sit on them.

The place is in a beautiful area.

The hosting experience was highly unprofessional and lacked basic hospitality. Check-in was scheduled for 14:00, but I received no instructions until 14:27 via a WhatsApp message with no greeting or apology. Communication throughout the stay was incredibly poor—replies consisted mostly of emojis with no professional human interaction. Additionally, the lights have an irritating auto-brightness reduction feature that made it impossible to read a book at night without using a personal torch. To top it off, despite delaying my check-in, the host offered absolutely no flexibility for a late check-out.

It is beautiful, I had almost everything that I needed

Almost everything was good, but driving to the facility can be challenging only it is raining. I got stuck but the host sent help immediately. I really appreciate her help. You will get all the required help

Pod was neat and clean, and very well stocked. Lovely setup on the edge of a flowing stream (river with the big rain)…. But unfortunately due to the bad weather we didn’t get the opportunity to really enjoy the facilities.

The access roads were a nightmare as it was pouring with rain when we arrived. Thick mud on road to the pods …. We were grateful that we had a 4x4 . Quite expensive if there are only 2 of you

The pods are situated at a beatiful location, with a beatiful view of the mountains. Our stay felt peaceful and remote. It was a good value for money experince, and a shorter distance to drive from Johannesburg.

We were'nt sure about the entrance to the destination, and when we contacted the host for direction, we received a rather unpleasant tone. They need to improve the visibility of the entrance to the pods, The tiny board at the entrance is not sufficient. The place is beatiful, untill you start cooking. The cockroaches crawl out of every cupboad and stove, and that is a big turn off for me. This presents a health

The running water stream and the privacy and quietness where the pods are located, the make of the pods.

The water was not clear, the bedroom door sliding was not properly secured/fitted. The road to the venue needs a lifted car.

Excellent location for peace and quietness. Hot tub was up and running when we arrived.

Pods need to be maintained; furnisher need to be cleaned. The pod can do with a deep clean to bathrooms. Tiles, toilet seats etc...

We absolutely adored the privacy, quiet and change from the norm! 100% safe! Absolutely perfect to recharge in nature! The hot tub was awesome too! Great wifi!

You can tell that every piece of decor was chosen with genuine care and love, making the pods feel less like a rental and more like a sanctuary.

The location of the property. Very secluded and spacious. The property is amazing, great value for money. The views were beautiful. Love the braai area am the hot tub

The beds are a little bit hard.

Beautiful setting and finishes. Easy check in and check out. Pleasantly surprised by the Christmas gift and the fresh flowers daily.

Pod gets a bit hot and it would have been nice if there was a mosquito/animal screen to be able to sleep with the doors open instead of with the fan on but this is a personal preference. Space to place toiletries for the shower as I was worried the triangular shelf would fall down and hooks to hang towels to dry would be great.

Views, fireplace, privacy and accommodation in general (marvellous).

Toilets were not cleaned or brushed properly, cockroaches came out to play night, luckily there was doom provided, didn't get to enjoy the hot tub because it refused to heat up even when we requested assistance from the staff.

Overall look from outside in, and it’s uniqueness

The single beds in both rooms, for a couple it was a little difficult because of the 2 separate duvets.

The property was beautifully styled and spacious and a true hidden gem. Modern and nicely secluded but not too far from the town.

Bedding could have been better especially pillows. WiFi was also poor.

The property is beautiful and the location is perfect for relaxation.

I’d give it 90%. The lacking 10% is for the cleaning services and that there was no iron in the pod. Other than that, it was worth the stay!

Would have been great if someone started the kol kol before arrival it takes forever to Heat up. And a cover would also be helpful for the heat not to escape faster than it can heat up😉

Beautiful setting with the river and mountains right outside. The pod was spotless, modern, and very cozy. Perfect mix of nature and comfort—definitely returning for a longer stay!

The two singles joined bed a double or queen size bed would do. And since one pod has two bedroom four sleeper the sitting arrangement is to small for four people the couch only fits two people even thou their two chairs on the side the comfortable wouldn’t be there

Peaceful getaway with a well maintained and furnished pod.

Unfortunately the beds were two single beds pushed together, which made cuddles very uncomfortable. Unfortunately the wood provided by the hosts were wet which we realised too late, so we could not use the hot tub.

Pictures dont do this place any justice. A great place to unwind. It is very peaceful, far from everything and everyone. Decor is top notch
