This small boutique hotel is the kind you usually only dream about. Wonderfully luxurious, right on the beach, and offering fine dining with excellent wines. Suresh and his team made us feel right at home. At Three Gables, hospitality is truly written with a capital H. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wow where do we begin… we were absolutely blown away by the three gables boutique villa! We stayed for one night at the end of our trip for some luxury and much needed relaxation time. We were welcomed and looked after by the lovely Suresh. We got amazing welcome drinks, were shown to our room and they organised a lovely rose petal bath. We relaxed in the stunning pool and had the best night sleep in the comfiest bed. We enjoyed a lovely candlelit dinner on the beach with the best service and food. One of us is gluten free and they absolutely catered for her allergy requirements and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Breakfast was amazing, we enjoyed multiple courses, juice, tea and coffee. We also had a pod machine in our bedroom. Well worth the stay at the Three Gables, we will definitely come back ❤️❤️

The Three Gables is great place in Mirissa. With only four rooms, the hotel has an intimate and incredibly peaceful atmosphere. It feels more like staying at a private luxury villa than in a hotel. The hotel’s private beach is beautiful, and the views from both the rooms and the lobby are fantastic. It is the perfect place to sit back, enjoy the surroundings and completely unwind. The breakfast and food are outstanding — among the best we had during our trip through Sri Lanka. The entire staff is also exceptionally friendly, attentive and professional. The level of service throughout our stay was truly excellent. A special mention has to go to Suresh, the manager. I have rarely, if ever, met a hotel manager who puts so much effort into making sure his guests are happy, yet you never feel that he is being intrusive. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality really make a difference. The Three Gables is an ideal place to finish a tour of Sri Lanka, but it is equally well located as a base for exploring the south of the country. And for couples looking for a romantic getaway or honeymoon destination, it would be hard to imagine a better setting. Whether you want to explore, enjoy a romantic stay, or simply do absolutely nothing for a few days, The Three Gables is a place I can wholeheartedly recommend. We would happily return.

I cannot thank Suresh and his team enough for such a wonderful stay. Everything from start to finish was 10/10 and we had absolutely nothing but praises for the three gables. We stayed for three nights and whilst there are many activities to do around, we spent the majority of our time enjoying the hotel. The food and service was excellent and I cannot recommend it enough, it was the highlight of our trip.

The location and the staff were amazing. They were very helpful in giving us all the information about the town and what to do. The food they made for us the best we had in our stay in sri Lanka. Definitely worth the money we spent.

Not only was the accommodation beautiful the service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. Suresh and his team went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable, and every need catered for. Suresh helped organise our spa experiences, trips to Galle Fort, local restaurants, tuk tuk’s and even went so far as to source our Colombo tea cups - which we couldn’t fine anywhere else in Sri Lanka. On top of this, we even had an in- villa dining experience that was truly outstanding - I cannot recommend highly enough.

Wish we could keep this property a secret. All the positive reviews are absolutely true. While the property itself is beautiful, what makes it truly special are the people running the property on a day to day basis. There is such strong attention to detail, care for the guests - it truly felt like a home. What we did not expect was the HIGH quality of food and beverage - the chefs are excellent, nothing short of a 5 start f&b service. The general manager, Mr Suresh, always put our comfort as top priority and that was not just for the sake of it - he truly meant it. All the staff and it wont be fair to only name one but specially, Sanuka, took great care of us. Every request was welcomed with a smile. Service was impeccable, Suresh made sure our stay was comfortable in every way, and always emphasised that the villa was our home, not a hotel. They arranged a special dinner by the beach for us, on the house. Every meal was delicious, the oatmeal was our favourite!!

This place honestly exceeded all my expectations. The property itself is a beautiful modern villa that feels incredibly well thought through. Everything was spotless. The design is very modern but still warm and inviting, and the view is just stunning. The pool is absolutely dreamy and the whole setting makes it so easy to just switch off and relax. It is very intimate and quite, as the property only has four rooms, which enables them to be as attentive as they are! The location is also perfect. It is super quite and peaceful, but at the same time you can reach Mirissa in about five to ten minutes. The beach right in front of the villa is something special. The waves are honestly some of the most picturesque I have ever seen, it almost does not feel real. Our room was just as impressive. Again, everything was perfectly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the balcony view looked like a postcard. The bathroom had both a great shower and a bathtub, and they even prepared a bath for me with flowers which smelled amazing and felt incredibly thoughtful. The food was exceptionally good. Everything we had was delicious, and they were even flexible enough to prepare dishes that were not on the menu, including local Sri Lankan food, and were also very flexible with the timing of the food, which we appreciated very much, especially for the breakfast since we like to sleep in during the holiday! The breakfast is also amazing, you have to try their Pineapples Waffle! We were also brought fresh coconuts during the day, which was such a nice touch. But what really took everything to the next level was the service. It was truly exceptional. The team was very attentive without ever being intrusive. They seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked and made everything feel effortless. When my husband had his birthday, they organized a cake for us, and they even set up torches so we could celebrate properly into the evening.

From the moment we arrived until the second we left, we felt enveloped in a level of warmth and care that is rare to find. The Service & Staff: The heartbeat of this villa is undoubtedly Suresh and his incredible team. The level of service here is world-class, but it’s the personal touch that sets it apart. Both the front-of-house and back-of-house staff work in such perfect harmony to make you feel like the only guests in the world. They went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of, frequently sharing local stories and asking thoughtful questions that made us feel more like friends than customers. Whether it was recommending the best hidden gems in the area, helping us with travel arrangements, or giving us "insider tips" on the neighborhood, their guidance was always spot on. To top it all off, they even gave us a thoughtful gift when we checked out - a gesture that truly touched us and served as the perfect memento of our stay. The Food: The culinary experience was a massive highlight. The Chef is absolutely outstanding. Every single breakfast was top-notch—fresh, generous, and beautifully presented. For our final evening, the team arranged a breathtaking special dinner for us right on the beach. It was truly a magical experience and the food itself was outstanding. The Villa: The villa itself is chic, modern, and perfectly integrated into the tropical surroundings. Our room was perfect, kept immaculately neat and tidy by the housekeeping team. The beach directly in front of the villa is calm and peaceful, offering a much-needed escape from the busier parts of Mirissa. Three Gables is a special place. We left feeling genuinely sad to say goodbye to Suresh and the crew. We cannot recommend staying here highly enough.

Die Unterkunft selbst entspricht für den Preis nicht annähernd einem vergleichbaren Standard. Hierbei erhält man an der Südküste für vergleichbares Geld deutlich mehr Luxus. Das angebotene Essen sowie die zugehörigen Getränke sind maßlos überteuert (z.B. Sri Lanka Speisen für 30 €+, Teller Nudeln mit Tomatensoße für Kinder 28 €+). Man hat zudem den Eindruck, dass zu viel Personal vorhanden ist, dieses aber nicht schnell und aufmerksam genug arbeitet.

Les conseils pour le séjour de Suresh le direct et son écoute permanente pour une service haut de gamme. Les petits déjeuners excellents (version Sri Lanka en préférence) et le repas que nous avons fait sur place également de grande qualité, organisé sur la plage pour notre anniversaire. La chambre vue sur mer avec un petit balcon pour en profiter. La proximité avec Mirissa.

Если хотите компании и новых знакомств, то вам точно не сюда, здесь история про уединение. Персонал тоже на высоте. Без всяких доплат разрешили остаться до вечернего трансфера и обслуживание было идеально.

This was honestly the most stunning hotel I stayed at during my time in Sri Lanka. Everything about it was exceptional—the architecture, the location, the rooms, and the incredible views. The staff were absolutely top-notch: super friendly, attentive, and genuinely lovely people who made the stay even more special. It’s definitely a perfect spot for couples, but as a solo traveler you can absolutely treat yourself here and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. A truly memorable place.

Suresh en zijn team zijn super gastvrij en attent. De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk en ze doen er echt alles aan om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. De kamers (er zijn er slechts 4) zijn zeer schoon, hoogwaardig in afwerking en luxe ingericht. Het privéstrand en zwembad zijn perfect om te relaxen en het voor het fantastische ontbijt kun je het beste even de tijd nemen om er maximaal van te genieten.

We konden er niet voor eeuwig blijven.

If you are reading this, you must book! Suresh is a well experienced hotel manager who has now turned to providing great service to all of his guests. He also has several younger people who are in training to become just as good as he is, which is nice to see. Nothing is too much for the staff at the property if they can accommodate for you, they will. As you will know this property has a premium price tag, however it is 100% worth it. Book for a few nights and treat yourself. It’s extremely private and is immaculately clean, even dinner on the beach was provided! All in all 10/10 - no improvement would be possible for this place. The last thing I have to say, I hope Suresh and his team are paid well, because they definitely deserve it!

Amazing… the lounge was to die for, opening to an infinity pool and further to a glorious beach. Room was very comfortable, finished to top European standard, there are only 4 rooms there so it is blissfully quiet. Staff could not do enough to make our stay best possible, nothing was too much hassle for them. Best stay we had in Sri Lanka.

Our room was immaculately clean and facilitated to a high spec.. The hotel grounds were beautiful with tasteful art and minimal furniture. The views were stunning and the pool was perfect. An incredible villa right on the beach- the interior design, the pool, private beach and staff were exceptional. . We had the most luxurious stay! Suresh and his team were incredible and so attentive. The room was immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable- they also ensured they cleaned it twice a day for us (morning and just before bed!). The breakfast was delicious and we also ate dinner at the hotel on one of the night’s (a candle lit meal on the beach) - our best meal so far in Sri Lanka. Would highly recommend!

Suresh to manager obiektu z wieloletnim doświadczeniem, który zadba o to, żeby Wasz pobyt był niezapomniany, zasugeruje w jakie miejsca można się udać w okolicy i jakie atrakcje w nich zobaczyć. Hotel jest bardzo kameralny, przewidziany dla maksymalnie kilku osób jednocześnie, co pozwala się zrelaksować i czuć zaopiekowanym. Kolacje na plaży są w magicznej atmosferze, to ten obiekt który lepiej wygląda w rzeczywistości niż na zdjęciach.

Our stay at The Three Gables was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, Suresh and his incredible team made us feel completely looked after. Everyone was so professional, warm, and genuinely friendly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A special mention to Suresh, who went out of his way to visit the local train station to personally check train times for our trip to Galle, and even drove us to the airport for our 2am flight — service like this is truly exceptional. The accommodation was immaculate and perfectly located right on the beachfront, with beautiful ocean views that made the stay feel incredibly special. Our room was spotless, beautifully presented, and extremely comfortable. The entire property has such a calm, elegant atmosphere, and the whole experience felt luxurious from start to finish. The breakfasts were a real highlight, with an amazing traditional Sri Lankan breakfast each morning, all freshly prepared, absolutely delicious, and incredibly generous — so much food and so much care put into every detail. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was the private dinner on our final night, set up by the beach. It was such a thoughtful and special touch, and the dinner itself was exceptional — especially the red snapper, which was perfectly cooked and truly unforgettable. We stayed for four nights and honestly didn’t want to leave. Everything about our stay at Three Gables Villas exceeded our expectations. The rooms, common area, views and food are all spectacular. However what stands out is how much Suresh and his team genuinely care about their guests. They are the most generous hosts I have ever encountered - both attentive and understated. Suresh offered great tips on what to do, find books for us to read as well as where to eat and the team (particular thanks to Sanuka) ensured that we were well looked after at the restaurants they booked on our behalf. Suresh even fixed my sunglasses!! He also arranged a beautiful meal on the beach on our last night with a hand speared red mullet. The chef is truly outstanding and both continental and Sri Lankan breakfasts are fantastic. My partner and I travel frequently and as other guests have also noted, the experience at Three Gables Villas is really unparalleled.

The location is fantastic and the rooms are wonderfully comfortable and spotless, all with great sea views. The food is excellent (magnificent grilled Snapper & traditional Sri Lankan curries, thanks chef). The staff and service is of the charts (special mention to Suresh and Sanuka), and just when we thought it couldn’t get better we found out we were on a prime turtle beach in nesting season (please don’t scare the turtles!).

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in! We went to Sri Lanka for our honeymoon, and Suresh and his team made everything about our stay unreal - from surprising us with a room upgrade on arrival, to setting up a private dinner on the beach for us. The hotel itself is architecturally gorgeous, and the service was just unreal. We can’t thank the team enough for a truly unique and special stay here.

Suresh and his team were incredible from start to finish. They made our stay truly special, with nothing ever being too much trouble. From running a petal-filled bath and thoughtful turndown touches, to preparing an authentic Sri Lankan meal on the beach using fire burners, every detail was exceptional. Tea appeared at the drop of a hat, always delivered with warmth and genuine care. We passed many resorts in the area, and this was by far the most luxurious and exclusive—by miles. The property is exquisitely designed, and privacy is never an issue, with each of the four guest rooms having its own separate entrance. The views and layout are outstanding. A leisurely five-course breakfast set up on the beach each morning was a daily highlight.

One small suggestion would be the option to have an exceptional, well-trained and experienced massage therapist available to visit the property. We tried a few of the highest-rated options locally, but they unfortunately didn’t meet the standard of the rest of the experience. 😊

Überaus freundliches und service-orientiertes Personal. Man denkt manchmal, sie können Gedanken lesen, was man braucht oder will. Essen vorzüglich, Zimmer so sauber und 2x täglich gereinigt. Regendusche richtig gut nach einem abenteuerreichen Tag. Suresh der Manager versorgt mit allen wichtigen Informationen oder Trips. Man kann mit jedem Wunsch zu ihm kommen. Jeden Morgen wird sich erkundigt, was man braucht oder möchte. Nichts wirkt gezwungen oder bedrängend, genau das was man im Urlaub möchte. Wir blieben 4 Nächte und wollten uns nach 2 Wochen Sri Lanka Abenteuer ein wenig Ruhe und Luxus gönnen. Frühstück in zwei Variationen und ohne zeitliche Einschränkungen. Der eigene Koch zaubert aber auch a la Carte. Natürlich ist alles etwas preislich überdurchschnittlich aber man bekommt Qualität, Service und Personal mit 5 Sternen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der Zugang zum Meer ist leider Gezeiten abhängig, aber nicht schlimm, falls es nicht gerade nicht passt, gibt es eine Menge guter Strände eine Tuktuk Fahrt entfernt.

Es war ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause und jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Das Essen ist hervorragend und alles wird frisch zubereitet. Suresh und sein Team sind extrem herzlich und wir haben Tips bekommen für Ausflüge und der Transport für die Weiterreise wurde organisiert. Der beste Ort um so richtig die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Suresh and the team at the Three Gables went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food was some of the best we had in all of Sri Lanka, particularly the amazing Sri Lankan breakfast. We had a private dinner set up directly on the beach. They even cleaned our hiking boots for us without even being asked! It was a dream!

Sam hotel położony przy pięknej mało uczęszczanej przez innych plaży, z niesamowitym widokiem oraz cudownym basenem. Hotel nowocześnie urządzony, niezwykle czysty. Nieodpłatnie zaproponowano nam późniejszy check out, standard naszego pokoju został nieodpłatnie podwyższony. Jeżeli kiedykolwiek wrócę na Sri Lankę na pewno ponownie wybiorę ten hotel. Unglaublich schönes Hotel mit nur 4 Zimmern! Es war wie wohen bei Freunden, jeder Wunsch wurde vom Hotelmanager und dem Personal erfüllt, man fühlte sich wie ein VIP. From the moment we moved in until the moment we checked out everything was perfect and we felt like at home as well as like in a paradise. Our room was modern with luxurious facilities, a private balcony and breathtaking view on the ocean. The service is outstanding. The cleaning of the rooms was twice a day. The staff cares genuinely about you and is very attentive to all details, starting from the breakfast (you can choose either Continental or traditional Sri Lankan), bringing water when you are going to the beach or the swimming pool, and delicious chocolate on the bed with an affirmation message before you go to bed. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The General Manager Suresh and his team are absolutely professional, thoughtful and friendly. He recommended different nice places/attractions to visit and good restaurants nearby, and organised everything for us, so that everything went smoothly. Another highlight is food. It's so delicious and the chef makes every dish look like a masterpiece. For my birthday the villa arranged a festive dinner with fresh huge fish and a cake on the beach. After dinner they prepared the bath tub with flowers in our room. I felt like a princess. It's definitely one of the best my birthdays. It was magical and the perfect end to an incredible trip. We are grateful to Suresh and his team for making our stay at the villa special. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone and will never forget our stay there!

Der Aufenthalt war einfach phänomenal! Es hat unsere Erwartungen komplett übertroffen. Schon die Menükarte war der Hammer, und das Essen war einfach unfassbar lecker. Es gab wirklich alles, was man sich wünschen kann: Waffeln, Avocado-Toast, knusprigen Bacon, English Full Breakfast, Porridge, Cereals, Granola, eine riesige Fruit Platter, Bread Basket mit den besten Marmeladen, die wir in ganz Sri Lanka gegessen haben, dazu frischen Kaffee, Tee und Cappuccino. Ich habe eine Laktoseunverträglichkeit und habe ohne Probleme Hafermilch bekommen – und das Beste: Ich musste nicht mal jeden Tag daran erinnern, es wurde einfach automatisch berücksichtigt. Der Service war so aufmerksam, dass man sich rundum wohlgefühlt hat. Man frühstückt direkt am Meer mit einem unfassbaren Ausblick. Wir hatten das Zimmer ganz oben, und selbst dort konnte man sich das Frühstück aufs Zimmer bzw. auf den Balkon liefern lassen, mit Blick auf das Meer, einfach traumhaft. Außerdem gibt es keine festen Frühstückszeiten: Man kann einfach irgendwann bis 12 Uhr kommen, wann man will, und bekommt sofort alles frisch serviert. Zur Auswahl stehen srilankisches oder kontinentales Frühstück, wobei man Letzteres komplett selbst zusammenstellen kann – wirklich ein Fünf-Gänge-Menü nach Lust und Laune. Das komplette Team war einfach unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Sie haben uns wirklich jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen und waren dabei nie aufgesetzt, sondern einfach ehrlich nett. Wir haben dort unseren Honeymoon verbracht und hätten uns keinen besseren Ort dafür vorstellen können. Wir wurden so liebevoll behandelt, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Die ganze Anlage ist beeindruckend schön, perfekt gepflegt, jedes Detail sitzt. Das Zimmer wurde zweimal täglich gereinigt, alles war top in Schuss, super sauber und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail :)

Both my partner and I agreed it’s the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is stunning - elegant, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious and luxurious, with the most comfortable bed and a fabulous bathroom. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are genuinely exceptional - kind, thoughtful, and endlessly attentive. A special mention must go to Suresh, the General Manager, who is an absolute credit to the hotel. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Another highlight was the breakfast which was delicious and beautifully presented. The food was cooked fresh to order and we looked forward to it every single day. On our final night the team arranged a private dinner for us on the beach with delicious fresh fish. It was magical and the perfect end to an incredible trip. We had such a great stay here! So close to Mirissa beach, so the location was 10/10. The staff was absolutely amazing - Suresh really looked after us to make sure we were happy at all times, and Sanuka and Bhannu went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special! They’re the kindest souls.

Absolutely gorgeous location. Pool and beach area are exactly as the pictures show. The room was incredible, so comfortable and it was cleaned twice a day. The staff were brilliant- so friendly, kind and would do anything for you. The breakfasts- both Sri Lankan and continental were exceptional. The staff could not do enough for you. The staff are so thoughtful and took the time to talk to you and get to know you. They really kindly upgraded our room and offered us a dinner in celebration for our honeymoon. The chef came out to speak to us- it was perfect. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone. A perfect end to our honeymoon. Thank you.

Centrally located but with great privacy. The staff led by Mr. Suresh were exceptional with always around to cater yet not invasive. The chef is really talented which showed in the food that was provided consistently. Overall one of the better experiences. Worth the buck.
