Our stay was simply exceptional. Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The house is beautifully designed with a modern Scandinavian style, and the cleanliness was outstanding—even beyond our already very high standards. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the furnishings and equipment are of the highest quality, making the stay both comfortable and luxurious. What made this place truly special, however, were our wonderful hosts. They were incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming, and by the end of our stay we genuinely felt as if we had been visiting family and close friends rather than staying in a holiday home. They even invited us on a lovely boat trip, offered a relaxing yoga session, and treated us to delicious traditional Norwegian food. These thoughtful gestures made our stay even more special and gave us a genuine taste of Norwegian culture and hospitality. If you are looking for an authentic Norwegian experience, this little island is the perfect place. It is peaceful, breathtakingly beautiful, and has such a unique atmosphere that we kept joking it felt like a little utopia. Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to experience Norway, and we truly hope to come back one day. Highly recommended!

This one is special, if you have a possibility to stay here - do it without hesitation. Fantastic hosts, included parking, great ferry connection with Stavanger. Whole place is spotless! The view is breathtaking!

Die Villa liegt traumhaft auf einem Grundstück direkt am Meer. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich. Trond hat uns viele hilfreiche Tipps für Erkundungen, Restaurants und Routen gegeben. Das Haus ist neu und toll eingerichtet. Die Anbindung nach Stavanger ist bequem und kostenlos. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ein traumhafter Ort in wunderschöner Architektur mit sehr netten Gastgebern

Wir hatten 3 wunderschöne Tage auf der auf der Insel Vassoy. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und der Garten mit seinen vielen Sitzgelegenheiten lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und erhielten von Trond immer wieder sehr wertvolle Tipps. Ein rundum erholsamer und schöner Aufenthalt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The host gave us recommendations of things to do and was very quick to respond to any questions we had.

Architektonisch wunderschönes, sehr gepflegtes, sehr sauberes Haus. Die Lage mit Meerblick auf der kleinen Insel Vassoy ist sehr schön. Großzügiger, sehr schön angelegter Garten, mit mehreren Sitzgelegenheiten. 1,80 Bett in der oberen Etage mit Badezimmer. Dieses hat eine Tür zur Dachterrasse. Im selben Raum steht Ausziehcouch kann mit Falttür zum Doppelbett abgetrennt werden. Im Erdgeschoss sind Wohn- und Essbereich sowie Küche in einem Raum. Die Couch ist eine Schlafcouch. Küche ist mit allem, was man benötigt ausgestattet und was fehlt kann man beim Vermieter, dessen Haus direkt angeschlossen ist erhalten. Die Insel kann mit kostenloser Autofähre jede Stunde angefahren werden . Dazwischen fährt eine kostenpflichtige Personenfähre. Vom Anleger der Fähre ist man in 10 Minuten zu Fuß beim Ölmuseum und in der Innenstadt

Les propriétaires sont formidables et MERCI pour toutes les petites attentions que vous nous avez faites! nous avons adoré notre séjour chez vous. Le logement est exceptionnel! Le cadre est apaisant et ressourçant. Bref il n’y a pas assez de mots pour décrire notre passage chez vous tellement on a apprécié

Spacious, quiet, comfortable, clean, fully provisioned, nature walking paths, timely ferry

It was somewhat confusing for us to find the location of the ferry in Stavanger

The hospitality of the owner made our arrival and stay very exceptional. A very nice and modern house with a beautiful garden and views on the water.

The villa is located on a charming island where time has stopped. It is the ideal place to recharge your batteries and enjoy nature. From the villa, you can have a great view of the island. You can also relax in the garden and possibly (if it is not cold) have a nice swim. The hosts are so nice and helpful.

The whole villa is amazing

Very spacious, comfortable, clean and great location! Go, stay here and book as many nights as you can. It really felt like being ‘at home’. They have everything you need and if it is not there they are more than willing to arrange whatever you need. We were provided with some great tips on what to do and where to go. The view is wonderful and it is a big plus to be able to open the doors and step into the garden. The island is beautiful and quite while your only a ferry away from the city. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Amazing location! Beautiful home right on the beachfront. The hosts are so nice and helpful. Loved the little island. Best part of our trip! Our kids LOVED it.

The host is fantastic. The facilities are extra modern, The view from the taras is overwelming.

We loved the location, host and the boat rental! It was a pleasure to stay here and enjoy the outdoor life and fishing (and not to forget a boat trip!). Easy to go to Stavanger with a quick ferry and to have dinner there. Great restaurants. The hosts make sure you feel at home.

A very beautiful place, ideal for relaxing and enjoy the view at the water. Easy access to take the ferry (foot or car) to the city. There is a small Joker supermarket on the island too. We had a great stay and enjoyed our talks with the lovely owner.

The location is very picturesque, quiet and beautiful. The house was very cute and new. Trond was very accommodating with regards to breakfast, both time and menu. Everything was delicious and we could enjoy it outside. Highly recommended!
