1. Wine glasses were very small and there were no flute glasses to drink champagne/MCC. 2. The main bedroom shower head is awkwardly positioned and makes it tricky to use for someone who doesn’t want to wash or wet their hair every shower interval i.e, if wearing hair extension. 3. The couches in the living area were extremely hard and making it painful to seat on. 4. We ran out if toilet paper and there wasn’t replenishment stock 5. Mosquito repellent spray wasn’t enough and there was no replenishment stock

Reviewed Jan 28, 2026Arrived at this homestay last night, and all supermarkets were closed when we went out for a walk. We asked the landlady if we could get some ingredients, and she’s such a warm and lovely lady! She even taught us how to use the fireplace, prepared lamb chops, roasted potatoes, pumpkin, green peppers, and paired everything with white wine and ice cubes. We thought we’d have nothing to eat, but it turned out to be a nice surprise! Definitely a great stay here.

Reviewed Nov 28, 2025The property is set in a lovely garden with pool and was extremely clean including the bedding and towels. It offered one of the most comfortable beds to sleep on and loved the strong water flow of the shower. A great overnight stay.
Unfortunately the road was noisy at times and I think been a Sunday and having a stadium across the road we heard alot of noise but this tapered off later on and we only heard the lovely sounds of the sheep/chickens which we miss having lived in Stanford for a few years.

La taille des chambres sont immenses, vous pouvez être six adultes si partagez une chambre à 4 ne vous dérange pas. Il faut prévoir sa propre nourriture (heureusement magasin pas loin) ou aller au restaurant. Pour ceux qui font de la route comme nous, l'emplacement est bien car il se trouve entre Hermanus et Mossel Bay.

The Wi-Fi was a bit slow/reception was not great. We had about 3-4 crickets pay us a visit in the bedrooms, but based on the environment this is understandable.

Die ganze Nacht über brannte draußen das Licht so dass es leider ziemlich hell war im Zimmer.
