The Croft

The unit was very spacious and clean. We didn't cook but the kitchen looked very well equipped. Lizzie went out of her way to welcome us and make us comfortable throughout our stay. We would stay here again if we had to head back to Hilton.

Absolutely loved my stay here. It is beautiful, cosy, and offers a peaceful, quiet escape. It’s in a great location with easy access to the road. Our host was amazing. Very kind, friendly, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommended.

The rooms are excellent, extremely comfortable, spacious and the fire place is the best.. just about every thing you could need for a chilly wnter weekend

The gravel pathway could be upgraded but does give a country charm..

The property is nicely private but close to the main road, which makes access easy and safe no matter the mode of transport.

The glass door in the living room does not have tint or blinds for privacy purposes, so anyone who can walk into the unlockable small gate can see you inside. No TV channels, only netflix and youtube.

I have a low clearance vehicle, so the driveway was a little tricky, but not a major problem..

I love the location as well as the overall property. The unit itself exceeds expectations. It was huge, clean, very well thought out. The extra touches and comfort made this the perfect work or vacation stay. Lizzi is also just the best. So warm and welcoming and happy to assist.

Beautiful home. Comfortable stay with all the amenities. Heated blankets and fireplace were a bonus for the chilly weekend. The room was serviced daily, and lots of special touches from the host made our stay extra special.

Everything. Not only is the accommodation perfect (with every little bit and Bob you can imagine) but the host is honestly the sweetest. We traveled as two women on our own for new years and she made us feel safe. Liz even recommended mutliple spots nearby for us and gave us daily weather forecasts which were perfect for what we wanted. The food was amazing and the venue were exactly what we want, just 10min away. Even when the weather was the kindest (Hilton fog) She checked on us via WhatsApp to check if we're fine and needed anything. I honestly felt at home. On new years she gifted us champagne and chocolate. I honestly couldn't have imagined a better break and I'm definitely going BACK SOON! .

Would recommend sensor lights on the driveway especially on those heavy fog night. I passed the driveway becuase I couldn't see it

I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Lizzi is truly the friendliest host — thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely concerned about every little detail. The cottage itself is stunning, with a cozy fireplace that made the whole experience feel extra special. I absolutely loved the red fridge and the proper filter coffee… such thoughtful touches! I enjoyed every second of my stay and will definitely be returning. I’d recommend this place to anyone — it’s close to everything yet feels peaceful and inviting. An absolute gem!

This piece of heaven feels like home away from home. From the enchanting ponds on your arrival, to the charming garden details that make you feel like you’re walking through a mythical movie. Fireplaces in every room with wood topped up daily, to the electric blankets which are pre-heated for you. The attention to detail is above and beyond. You couldn’t ask for more.

The Croft was very comfortable and spacious, with a huge bed and lovely bed linen. Having the electric blankets turned on for us when we came home every evening, was a real bonus! We also loved the fresh eggs ready for us on the first day.

This is a personal preference for privacy but would've preferred the door to the ensuite toilet to be a full door, not half swing doors.

We had a wonderful stay at The Croft Hilton. The cottage was spotless, beautifully maintained, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay; From the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches like fresh eggs and firewood, it truly felt like a “home away from home.” The location is perfect – close to Hilton Quarry yet still tucked away, offering peace and privacy. The place is beautiful, quiet, and immaculately clean. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back.

Gorgeous rooms, great incredible and friendly service, Lizzie is amazing and gave us a warm welcome and went over and above, sending weather reports etc for the weekend. Loved the welcome pack including fresh eggs from the farm and the warm fireplace. Huge thank you. We loved our stay!

It was a really cold weekend , I found the outside kitchen freezing , I would suggest some form of canvas to enclose it on colder days .

Lizzi was just amazing in every way. She was so thoughtful and kind, making me feel much at home. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The accommodation felt like 'home away from home', with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

It was my second time back here and I absolutely love The Croft and would recommend it to anyone looking to travel to the Midlands. Lizzi is a fantastic host! The beds are comfy the fire place is a dream, the gardens are a little slice of heaven. It’s really my favourite place to stay when I get the chance to travel that way. It’s also conveniently located to grocery stores, cafes and restaurants, but still feels like a complete immersion into nature

Lizzi was highly responsive to my requests and went out of her way to make my stay pleasant. The unit is unique and comfortable- very suitable for self catering and being away from the hustle & bustle.

There wasn’t anything I would say I didn’t like.

The Croft was exceptional. Spacious, comfortable, everything you need in working order. Very good Wi-Fi. Easy parking. Attention to detail. Fabulous décor. Lizzie is an exceptional host. Available, helpful and caring which is a big bonus when one is travelling alone. I highly recommend this establishment and hope to visit again soon.

The Size of the unit was awesome. Very comfortable We had our own little corner with the outside kitchen which was awesome. Very relaxing place with greenery all around.

An amazing property that feels like home away from home. Lizzi is the best host you’ll ever have. She was very attentive and always checks up on me. Located next to the malls, Ubers and food deliveries freely available.

Although they make your bed and clean your room everyday very well. I only wish they would change the bedding linen and pillows especially when stained.
