The animals cat and dogs, kept jumping into the cottage as though they are used to be in there. They kept on jumping around my car and left scratches.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026Everything. The tranquility and surrounding nature are truly second to none, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hosts were attentive, welcoming, and provided excellent communication and information prior to our arrival, which made the entire experience seamless. The cottage itself was lovely, comfortable, and well-maintained. Just super cosy. I would absolutely return in the future—next time for an even longer stay. If you're looking for a quiet and rejuvenating getaway, this is it.

Avis personnel, mais un store ou un rideau au niveau de la tôle transparente au niveau du toit de la chambre serait bien car avec le jour qui se lève à 5h à cette période c’est dur. Et un bruit récurant assez fort de claquement dans les murs jour et nuit qui serait lié à l’eau à priori. L’eau chaude de la douche capricieuse, chaude 2/3min puis de nouveau froide.

Robyn is a friendly host and ensured a seamless check in and check out. Travelled to attend a wedding and wish we could have stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend Lacebark without hesitation.

Quaint, clean, well-stocked with everything to ensure I had a warm, enjoyable, and comfortable stay. I will definitely be returning!

Reviewed Feb 3, 2025Lacebark Cottage is perfectly situated in Hilton, a short drive from anything you need. The cottage itself is in excellent condition and more than comfortable. I loved the aesthetic of the whole cottage, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful, giving us restaurant recommendations.
My only downside is that there was no stove, I like to cook, but if that is not a problem for you this is an excellent place to stay. I really don't have any other negative feedback to give in this reveiw.

Reviewed Nov 29, 2024The location was close to the places I needed to get to or restaurants, but far enough away and secluded to not feel like I was in the hustle and bustle. It was very comfortable and the pets make you feel like family :)
It's just one minor aspect which could have improved the stay, especially for somebody traveling for business, and that was somewhere to set up a laptop that isn't one's lap. I'd make the suggestion of a supplying a tray that could fit across the arm rests of the large and comfortable armchair in the cottage. That would have been super.
