I would have loved some extra towel hooks in the bathroom to hang damp towels on. Such a minor detail after a very comfortable stay.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Lovely location for travel between Cape Town and Durban being a few minutes off the N1. Room had everything we needed for a night’s stopover (except for a dish towel). Lovely pet-friendly place with a fenced garden for pets.
A sign on the gate asking guests to keep it shut would be nice. Our second complaint is not a reflection on the accommodation but our misfortune to have a group of guests who got up at 5am to leave by 6 but showed no consideration for other guests by talking loudly and generally just making a lot of noise for an hour until they departed.

There are 2 properties 1 house away from each other. The pool was on the other property. We had full access to it but it would have been nice to have it close to our room.
