Unser Aufenthalt im Banana Resort Siem Reap war einfach hervorragend. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und ruhig, und auch die Villen selbst sind außergewöhnlich sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die persönliche Atmosphäre. Die Eigentümerin und ihr gesamtes Team sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Es wird wirklich alles organisiert, was man benötigt. Von Ausflügen und Transport bis zu individuellen Wünschen. Hier bleibt tatsächlich kein Wunsch unerfüllt. Pool und Jacuzzi können 24/7 genutzt werden, was gerade nach einem langen Tag in Angkor Wat perfekt ist. Dazu gibt es ein sehr gutes Frühstück und auch das Restaurant ist insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert. Für uns war das Banana Resort eine perfekte Kombination aus Ruhe, Komfort, persönlichem Service und einer wunderschönen Anlage. Eine klare Empfehlung. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Nous avons tout adoré!!! Karo était très sympathique, accueillante et de très bons conseils pour découvrir Siem Reap. Les chambres étaient impeccables, les villas super jolies et la literie très bonne. Le jardin et la piscine hyper cosy et agréables entre deux visites. Le petit dej au top. Des jeux pour les enfants dans la piscine, bref tout était plus que parfait nous espérons tous pouvoir y retourner très vite!

C'est un petit nid douillet avec beaucoup de confort! Idéal avec des enfants ! Caroline et son équipe sont très accueillants et toujours avec le sourire ! Le petit déjeuner est délicieux 😋 Les villas sont très propres et bien équipées. Le jardin, la piscine et l'ambiance générale est top pour décompresser Caroline propose m'aider de nous aider pour organiser les visites ce qui est cool! The villas are very comfortable and nicely decorated, set around a relaxing pool. Perfect to relax after a long day visiting Angkor Wat. Breakfast was also provided and well arranged. Located in a quick area but very close to town and main attractions. But what really made this special was Caroline and her team, who provided a very personalized service. Everything was arranged for us on the spot, assistance with booking a guide and driver, meals, etc. They made us feel right at home!

The Villa was very comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The Living room had a Kitchen area with good facilities, including a good size Fridge Freezer. The bed was very comfortable & every room had air con, essential for the hot and humid conditions outside. There was a lovely swimming pool outside with seating and a bar area next to the pool which was quiet and relaxing. Caroline and her team were always happy to accommodate any questions we had, and the location is excellent, only 5 or 10 minutes to the centre of Siem Reap. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast, with a lovely selection of Mango fruit and dragon fruit, bread rolls and cakes. Tea or coffee was offered, and we chose to have crepe with Jams. The Breakfast was really lovely. We chose to eat outside each morning. We loved every minute of our stay here, and I want to thank Caroline and her team for making us feel at home. We thoroughly recommend to anyone who is thinking of staying here.

Everything was great. The vila was spacious, clean, comfortable beds. Generous breakfast with many options. There was a washing machine which was handy for refreshing clothes during the trip. Good internet connection. Communication with Caroline was fantastic, she kindly helped us organise some tours and days out which were a highlight of our time in Cambodia.

Spacious cottage with fully equipped kitchen, clean and well maintained. Clear water in the swimming pool that is open 24/7. Good choice of local and french dishes in the restaurant.

Caroline and her staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This is truly a magical spot in the center of Siem Reap, close to everything, yet secluded. Caroline suggested and then organized amazing experiences for us from visiting the big temples to getting to know village life in Cambodia and going for a jungle bike ride looking for hidden temples. We left with amazing memories!

De vila was ruim, schoon en is voor een gezin echt helemaal top. Het ontbijt was zeer goed en heel uitgebreid, ook onthield de staf wat je eet en dronk. Verse broodjes, pannenkoeken en fruit en fruitjuice echt heerlijk. Het zwembad was ook top, ook voor kinderen. De manager is zeer vriendelijk en kan veel vertellen over de omgeving en de uitstapjes wat er te doen is. Hij is eerlijk en kan ook dingen regelen voor een juiste prijs. Wij hebben extra nachten bijgeboekt omdat het ons zo beviel.

Eigenlijk niks. Het is wat verder van het centrum, maar dat vonden wij juist fijn. En met een tuktuk ben je er met 5 minuten.

The menu offerings were amazing, the accommodations were great. Staff was always friendly. The owner, who was around every day, she was very nice and helpful in making arrangements for airport rides and local attractions.

Can't name one thing!

Caro and her team were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel completely at home. The bungalow, communal areas and pool were all immaculate and well maintained. We had plenty of room in our 2 bedroom bungalow for our family of 4. The pool was great with many toys for the kids to use and play with. Perfect place to cool down after sightseeing! Location is great, in a quiet spot but with easy access, by readily available tuk tuks or Grab to the city centre or local attractions.

This is a lovely place. Our 2 br bungalow was wonderful. It was spacious and very clean. The pool is beautiful. The drinks were marvelous. The free breakfast was very good. Pub Street is just a 5 or 6 minute, fun tuk tuk ride away, that only costs about $1.50.

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful in this oasis in siem reap. Would heartily recommend this accommodation. The lovely prepacked breakfast of fruit, eggs and bread for our early departures. Lovely bedroom and en suite facilities in the bungalows.

Beautiful, very comfortable and clean villa; amazing breakfast; great staff always willing to help and assist; nice outdoors area with beautiful garden and swimming pool. Very quiet place, just 10 minutes to ride on tuktuk or taxi from all central attractions of Siem Reap.

We've been here several times, and every time we come here, we're amazed that there aren't more people here. It's truly an oasis and a peaceful spot barely outside of the town. It's literally a 5-minute tuk tuk ride to the very center of Siem Reap, at about 7 minutes from Pub Street. The bungalows are immaculously clean, spacious and bright, with three bathrooms, equipped kitchens, TV and Air con. The host and owner, Caroline, is pleasant and extremely helpful. The pool area is green and lush and it's a pleasure to just hang out there. For about the same price as a small and nondescript standard hotel in the centre, you also get a delicious and bountiful breakfast with your stay! Warm bread, homemade jams, plates of fresh fruit, homemade baking such as banana bread, eggs as well as juice and delicious coffee. We've never left hungry, and always have something extra for snacking later on!

Overall, this is a 5 out of five star place on every level.

This place was perfect for a family. We loved our 2 bedroom bungalow, it was large, clean and comfortable. The property was lovely with a pool and the food in the restaurant was good. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed.

Caroline was an amazing host!! Her homemade breakfast was delicious. The villas were beautiful and clean, and we had such a quiet peaceful stay. A big thank you to Caroline!

I don't know where to start. The villa was amazing - clean, comfortable, and homely. The food was incredible - we wanted to go out to eat, but found that the food at the resort was better than anything. The swimming pool was fantastic - clean, and the perfect temperature. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When we left, my son asked why we couldn't just live there forever. I had no response. We didn't meet Caroline as she was away, but Julien was an amazing host.

I didn't like the fact that we had to leave!

Beautiful little hotel, conveniently located near the city centre and Angkor Wat. Caroline wasn’t there but Fabien did everything to make us fell comfortable, helping us with everything from hiring a guide and transportation to booking theatre tickets. The place is very quiet, the pool is lovely and well kept and the food served by the restaurant is AMAZING! I strongly recommend staying here, specially if you’re travelling with kids.

Excellent service offered by Caroline during our stay at Banana Resort! She helped us to liaise the taxi pick up from Phnom Penh and our full Angkor Wat tour at Siam Reap. She is very meticulous and thoughtful in the advice she gave us, she also told us to go to less crowded spots to see the sunset. On the day of our arrival, she also helped to arrange a dinner dance show upon a last minute request. The cherry on top of the cake is that the breakfast spread at Banana is amazing 💯 Caroline and team offered us a homemade jams with a delicious spread of a lot of food. The rooms and clean and spacious, with a tank of water left in each room, saving us from buying many plastic bottles. Caroline was our all in one host and tour planner, 11/10 would recommend staying at this place! 🙏🏽

We really enjoyed the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the small resort. The staff and especially Caroline were very helpful. Caroline provided us with useful tips regarding our next options traveling Cambodia.

Exceptionally beautiful and well maintained.

The host Caroline is the best guide to a 5 day trip in Cambodia. She's not gonna send you to the typical tourist traps but will suggest you the right things to do based on what your group dynamics are. You must do the village food experience with Mr Peng and Caroline will arrange that and everything else for you. If there's a villa available on your dates book this place with a blind set of eyes.

Its not the city center where you have all the bars and madness but whats great is its close to the action if you want that and close to the sites and experiences that make Cambodia the country it is. Not just the night bars and markets.

Caroline's place is perfect and she is a wonderful host. The service is exceptional before you even arrive. Caroline is prompt in answering all your questions and even saved me alot of money by advising she can call tuk tuks to Angkor Wat once we arrive as I had previously booked a very expensive private car. The villa itself is VERY CLEAN. Often alot of accommodations you see online with good ratings turn out to be a huge disappointment when you get there, but not Banana Resort. It is as spotless as what you see in the pictures. The food is also delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast is exceptional with both sweet and savoury dishes and the resort offers free filtered water for the duration of your stay. I can't usually be bothered to rate places but Banana Resort was absolutely fabulous experience.
