Not having washer,dryer available when hiking in the rain could have helped. As well if they had shoe racks in the closet for shoes to dry. Also the bathroom needs to have storage.

Lavabo de la salle de bain complètement bouché, rideau de douche dans la baignoire peu qualitatif, pommeau de douche fixe et mal orienté. Absence de volet dans la chambre de l'étage, réveillé de très bonne heure avec la lueur du jour.

The barbecue was extremely dirty and the "clicker" to start the barbecue was out of starter fuel. This was especially disappointing because I had specifically asked if there was a usable barbecue. We also found the layout of the living space very awkward.

Juste penser que la mezzanine (seconde chambre) est ouverte sur le séjour et que les belles fenêtres du haut n'ont pas de rideaux. Le bruit du réfrigérateur est également très présent et peut gêner.

Coffee, tea, seasonings and a wide selection of nice glasses, tableware, cookery and cutlery were excellent which added to our comfort. Bed and linens were superb for a restful sleep. Absolutely loved the shower attachment for washing.
We were surprised that there was no mention in the booking that the suite shared an adjacent wall with the office. ( no noise issue just omission of info. )

Reviewed Jun 29, 2026This is a well designed, efficient “chalet”. Location is wonderful, it is pretty new and has everything you would need for a short stay. From what I could see, it looked like one of the better places to stay in Rocky Harbour.
The billing for this chalet seemed odd. I signed up for this chalet on January 21 for a 3 night stay starting June 23. The instructions do say they will charge for the chalet prior to arrival which is standard. Usually places charge the full amount several days or maybe 1-2 weeks prior to arrival. It did not state WHEN they would charge our credit card. This place charged the full amount the very day I signed up. So I paid the full amount 5 months early. I went ahead and kept the booking and everything was fine but maybe be aware you might be paying for it very far ahead of time.

We enjoyed watching the hares and listening to the birds whilst sitting out on the terrace with our morning coffee. The bungalow was clean and comfortable with a really well equipped kitchen. It felt like a real home from home.

Would have loved two bathroom.bit of a chore at our age to come down stairs from loft in middle of night but perhaps there were other units that they may of had available with two bathrooms? Finally fan in loft was a bit noisy perhaps needs balancing.That said though the cabin was wonderful and we would stay again!
