Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Perinnesauna ja tunturipuroon kastautuminen jäivät ehdottomasti mieleen. Paikka oli jo vanha, mutta tosi siistissä kunnossa ja hyvin pidetty. Palvelu toimi hyvin. Tulemme mielellämme uudelleenkin.

Reviewed Apr 24, 2026Ihana viihtyisä Lillstugan on täydellinen minulle. Parasta on sauna tunturipuron rannalla. Puulämmitteinen sauna lämpenee nopeasti ja purossa sain pulahtaa uimaan joka aamu ja ilta. Täydellinen luonnonrauha ja kaunis maisema, jossa näkyi Yllästunturi.
Ei mitään moitittavaa.

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026Es war wundervoll den Urlaub in der Hütte im Schnee zu verbringen. Ca. 5 km von Äkäslompolo befand sich diese im verschneiten Wald. Unsere Hütte war für 2 Personen gedacht mit der Möglichkeit eine dritte Person auf der Bettcouch schlafen zu lassen. Daneben gab es noch ca. 3 bis 4 größere Hütten. Es war alles vorhanden, was man von einer Ferienwohnung im Schnee erträumt, offener Kamin für ein gemütliches Feuer, genügend Holz, um dieses anzuzünden, elektrische Sauna, Grillhütte, ein paar Stufen unterhalb ein kleiner Eissee. Direkt an der Hütte verliefen Wanderwege und Langlaufloipen. Wir teilten unsere voraussichtliche Ankunftszeit mit und wurden von Nina empfangen. Bei der Abreise konnten wir einfach den Schlüssel in der Hütte deponieren.

My family liked it a lot , the staff was very cooperative.. rooms were clean and kitchen utensils were all available, Sauna and ice dipping are also available.River is close by in walking distance , easy by car but if you do not have your own transport then main road is a bit far in walkable distance. But I loved the property will definitely recommend and I will definitely visit again .

Reviewed Dec 31, 2025This accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, well equipped, the room temperature was comfortable, and the view was amazing. The host was very kind and responsive. Extras: we had access to a sauna and a kota, and the owner also provided us some sleds. The price is more than fair for this area. Highly recommended, and we would love to come back.

If you prefer downhill skiing the location could be better, but it was okay. The drive to the slopes takes about 15min.

Reviewed Jan 1, 2025Great location, close to everything you need but in a quiet and peaceful charming place. Parking right in front of the chalet. Spacious chalet with a separate room for my 2 kids, which was super convenient. Very well equipped, and even a washing machine in the basement with washing powder for free, as well as a sauna we could book only for us. We saw auroras everywhere outside on the 2nd night, without needing to drive anywhere since there is very little light around the chalets. The staff was very kind. Definitely the best place we stayed at in our 10 days Lapland trip! Highly recommended!
We only missed having a fireplace like they had in other chalets.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2024We had the most wonderful stay in one of the perfectly equipped and super cozy cabins which are located right in front of the cross-country ski slopes and close to a couple of very nice cafés. A car is useful but not absolutely necessary as close by bus connections are available and the very helpful housekeeper kindly drives you to and from the cabin on arrival and departure day. All in all a true gem and we will most certainly come back next year!
I really cannot think of anything we didn't like...?

Reviewed Oct 12, 2023It was two rainy nights, we did not see aurora, but the location was great with wonderful views around the house and many hiking trails nearby. The apartment was cozy and warm. We arrived very late in the night, around 23.30 pm, the host waited us and introduced everything to us very clearly. I recommond this place.

Reviewed Feb 17, 2023Amazing winter atmosphere in Lapland! Gorgeous morning sum view with Yllas hill. Great location for many activities such as hiking, xcountry skiing, snowshoeing. 10 minute drive to Yllas ski resort. Auroras in the night left us speechless. Cabin itself is warm and cozy, has everything one needs. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Wish to come back next year!

Reviewed Dec 28, 2022The location was very nice and quiet but at a short distance of the village with all the amenities you need. The saunas are great. So was the cabin. It had everything we needed to cook, shower, sleep and heat by the fireplace.
The internet connection was usually pretty bad. But hardly needed when you can go cross country skiing or watch the aurora borealis.
