Chalet Wäschhüsli near Interlaken, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen

The chalet was comfortable enough and facilities were provided with. It was cute and quaint, good for a family stay.

Property owner/manager is non-responsive. Place is a bit far from the center but it’s ok as accessible by bus. Place was a bit pricey but guess it’s fine because it’s Switzerland..

Chalet plein de charme, tout confort, propre, au sein d’un petit village calme, parfait pour passer un superbe séjour. Gros plus : il très bien situé pour visiter les environs, proche de Lauterbrunnen et ses cascades, Grindelwald et sa montée au first en télécabine, la gare de Wilderswil pour prendre place à bord du train à crémaillère direction Schynige Platte, Interlaken et son funiculaire Harder Kulm, Kandersteg et son accès au lac d’Oeschinen ! De quoi vous occuper et découvrir les merveilleux paysages qui vous entourent en séjournant dans ce chouette logement. Les hôtes sont disponibles et s’assurent de préparer au mieux votre arrivée par le biais de conseils, informations diverses, ne changez rien ! Merci !

Peu de points négatifs si ce n’est l’absence de micro-ondes qui serait bien pratique au quotidien. Ce logement dispose d’une place de parking réservée qui a le mérite d’exister en l’absence de zone de stationnement dans le village mais il est à noter qu’elle se situe à 200m du chalet, cela nécessite une organisation surtout si vous voyagez avec un enfant en bas âge comme nous. Mis à part ces deux points, rien à redire !

The house was beautiful, it had all the facilities needed for the stay and the whole area was so beautiful. Received prompt response and detailed check-in information before the start of the stay.

The booking had 3 people but we didn't have a pillow, blanket and the sheets for the 3rd person. We had to manage with cushions for the first 3 days of our stay and were given the pillow etc only on the last day. There was no response for any of my messages for the first 3 days of our stay. The bed wasn't great either and it was manageable. If this wasn't a problem, the stay would have been exceptional.

We liked the proximity to Interlaken and how easy it was to take the bus.

The house was very hot with only one fan. Unfortunately, the only option to cool off was to open the windows upstairs and two of the windows opened up to a chicken crate. If you wanted to open the windows, you had to deal with the smell of the chickens which was not pleasant.

المكان قريب من انترلاكن .. لكن الشاليه نظيف بس يعيبه انه ضيق .. ك اسرة تتسع لاربعه اشخاص لكن المكان ضيق للشنط في الشتا والجو بارد اتوقع ممتاز كسكن بدون مطل

عددنا 4 لا يوجد تكييف وصادفنا حر شديد كجو مشمس في الليل لطيف والجو كان غير متوقع ..كان يلزمه مكيف صحراوي وانصح المالك بتوفيره لاجواء شبيهه .. المروحة لاتفي بالغرض اطلاقا المكان لا يوجد به مطل على الاطلاق الموقف المحدد بعيد وفي الليل المشي شوي موحش للي يخاف الظلام .. في موقف تاني قريب لكن محظوظ الي يلاقيه متاح لانه عام بدون رسوم

Great Chalet stay close to Interlaken and all the fun stuff in Grindewald and Lauterbrunnen. The home was comfortable for a family of 4 and was very well stocked.

Our stay at Chalet Wäschhüsli was truly memorable. Just a 20‑minute bus ride from Interlaken bus station, the location is perfect for exploring Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. The chalet sits right in front of the bus stop, making it very convenient for families. The views are breathtaking—open the window and you’re greeted by the majestic, snow‑capped Alps right before your eyes. It’s the kind of scenery that makes you pause and soak in the beauty. The host was exceptionally prompt and helpful, always quick to respond to any queries, which made the experience even smoother. Overall, a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the Swiss Alps with comfort and convenience.

Wszystko fajnie, tylko szkoda że teren dookoła domku niezbyt zadbany.. na zdjęciach całkiem inaczej wyglądało niż na żywo :) w środku wszystko ok i lokalizacja oczywiście jak najbardziej na plus

Das Chalet ist vor allem im Obergeschoss sehr schön eingerichtet. Morgens von dem Hahn hinterm Haus geweckt zu werden, war sehr lustig. Alles in allem ist es eine sehr schöne Unterkunft und ein toller Startpunkt für unsere Wanderungen! Die Bushaltestelle nach Wilderwil ist ganz nah, ebenso ein Stellplatz für unser Auto. Besonders toll waren auch die Infos, die man vor der Anreise bekommt! Alles war sehr ausführlich und, wo nötig, bebildert erklärt. Das hat die Anreise und den gesamten Aufenthalt einfach sehr erleichtert. Es gab ein kleines Problem, mit einem Wasserkocher, der kaputt war. Doch direkt am nächsten Tag wurde ein neuer vorbeigebracht, das wussten wir ebenfalls sehr zu schätzen.

Die Essecke mit der Bank und den Stühlen und der Bank könnten erneuert werden und auch das Sofa hat nicht mehr den besten Eindruck gemacht. Schade war, dass es in der Unterkunft nur das Interlaken Ticket gab und nicht das für Grindelwald, da wir natürlich in Gsteigwiler waren, um in Richtung Grindelwald unsere Wanderungen zu machen.

La ubicación perfecta cerca de Interlaken, en un pueblito tranquilo y con facilidad para aparcar. Las informaciones muy claras por parte de los propietarios. El apartamento es cómodo y estaba todo muy limpio.

Lo que nos pareció un poco incómodo fueron las horas de check in y de check out, la primera muy tarde (16:00) y la segunda muy pronto (10:00). Normalmente cuando la hora de entrada es más tarde de mediodía la hora de salida suele ser como mínimo a mediodía. En nuestro caso con dos niñas pequeñas se nos hizo un poco cuesta arriba, estaría genial si pudieran ser más flexibles :)

Fijne betaalbare plek om Lauterbrunnen te verkennen. Appartement van alle gemakken voorzien, gebruik kunnen maken van wasmachine was voor ons heel handig om even wat kleding te kunnen wassen voor we verder gingen. Mooie omgeving

Geen personeel gezien, alles gaat via booking en hun eigen systeem, voelt toch iets minder persoonlijk. Maar de beschrijving is wel duidelijk. Foto's waren zeer gunstig gemaakt En de haan bij de buren was er 's ochtends vroeg bij

Very cool chalet, everything is clean, there are all the amenities, there is a bus stop nearby, only in the evening the bus goes only until about 8 pm, if you miss the bus, you need to walk about one and a half kilometers to the hotel from another train stop. Very quiet place, a very cool view opens from the hotel. From there it is very convenient to get to Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald and other places. If I am in Switzerland, I will definitely stay here. I highly recommend it.

The house looks great, the cleanliness is excellent 5⭐️, and there is a super great coffee machine.

The curtain is beautiful, but unfortunately the light comes in through the window.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean, quiet, and comfortable — everything was just as expected, if not better. The location was amazing, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to nearby attractions. The hosts were kind and helpful, and the overall experience was exceptional. Highly recommended and would definitely come back again!

It’s a beautiful property and comfortable for a family to stay for a couple of days with a beautiful view. The owners even stored the basic necessities to cook bfast/snack.

It is a bit far from the Interlaken train station. Even though the bus stop is right in front of the property we didn’t get to use the bus as we didn’t know the timings and the frequency of the buses. But if you check the bus timings and all, this property is excellent to stay with the family. 😊

Beautiful cosy chalet with mountain views. A short walk from the Wilderswil train station and very close to the bus stop. A central spot to get to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Jungfraujoch and more. There are sign-posted walks throughout the area. I'd love to go back!

I loved the smell inside the chalet it was so cozy. Also the yellow lights were amazing to fell more warn.

Location of the chalet is great. It is very quiet and peaceful. Host were really responsive and great.

Chalet is bit small for 4 people, i would recommend it only for the couple.

Comfy chalet for two people with large bedroom on the upper floor and small kitchen/living room area in the entrance floor. While we didn't meet the hosts they left welcoming messages and very detailed instructions on how to make use of their property as well as tips on places to eat and visit nearby, which was appreciated. The chalet is comfortably decorated and there is a small area outside with table and chairs which can also be used.

We had a very short stay and for the time we were there the size of the place was fine, but for longer stays it might feel a bit small, as the only 2 divisions are the bedroom and small kitchen / dining room area. Price a bit on the high side.

Lovely chalet that is private and has everything you need. The local people are friendly and very helpful

Quaint and peaceful little village a short drive from Interlaken. We received clear instructions as how to check in and out, where to park in the village, and where to eat food which was all very much appreciated.
