Wild Hostel

Room, staff, breakfast, location, value for money: all wonderful. If I go back to Puerto Natales, I will stay there again.

The only thing is that if you leave really early in the morning you have to take your luggage up and down a set of stairs. That is the really small inconvenience I can find.

Great location right in the centre of town. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a great bar area. One of our favourite stays across our 5-week trip in South America.

The private room is bad, small mattress , bathroom without door (only a curtain - that is terrible!), shower is terrible - hot water last for 5 minutes and no more for the next hours. Breakfast time is terrible, starts at 7h30am, mostl all of tours leave between 6-7am, so they should definitely change that time. Also, there is not much interaction inside the hostel during the evenings, bar is open for non guests.

Nice common area. Very friendly and helpful staff. They organized everything so that we could leave our luggage for the W-Trek and already had it brought back to our room when we returned.

The shower was not completely clean, there was a weird smell in one room and the beds were not so comfortable. I was not sure if the bedding was changed and fresh.

The bed was comfortable and the room, spaceous. We could get a bag breakfast so we could get on with our day before their designated breakfast time. You can borrow a hair dryer from the front desk.

We had a room above the bar/restaurant which remained noisy past our bedtime. (We rose early to drive to Torres del Paine.)

Wild Hostel es un gran lugar para quedarse! La onda del lugar, el equipo de trabajo y los perritos dando vueltas fueron un 10!

No nos gustó encontrarnos con una habitación que, aunque muy cómoda, no tenía puerta en el baño privado. Me parece información importante a dar a conocer. Además, aunque las camas eran súper cómodas, no cumplían la expectativa de ser una cama doble donde dormir de a dos, porque cada Sommier estaba un poco hundido, entonces se notaba mucho que eran dos colchones individuales unidos. Para personas argentinas: tener en cuenta que el concepto de hostel aquí no implica cocina y lugar de estar común.

The staff was excellent. The breakfast was special with touches like writing your name on placards. It was very quaint and warm feeling you can tell they care. Perfect location to go downtown or the bus depot

The staff were kind and helpful. We were allowed to store some luggage with them while we were hiking the W Trek.

We stayed at Wild hostel before and after our W Trek. Our room before the trek was above the bar/restaurant so very noisy when we were trying to sleep. After the trek, no noise issues.

We had a wonderful two nights at Wild hostel. The hostel staff were so lovely and accommodating. We enjoyed the provided breakfast and appreciated how central the location was. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Puerto Natales. The live music and cute dogs were great added bonuses!

Perfect location to best restaurants and walk along waters edge. Easy 10 min walk from bus terminal. Big rooms with great bathrooms and hot water. Staff amazing. Dog’s beautiful and friendly. The hosts make great drinks at the bar with bar food. Join in the games with others. Sorry I took your key. I have mailed it back to you. 😉

Really liked Wild. Very warm homely feel. The staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Very clean place.

If you had terrible hostel experiences in the past through Europe or America, this is your place to heal. By far the best hostel experience I have encountered in a long time. The people are super helpful, speak English, and are good at communicating if you have problems. The rooms are clean, the food is great, and the common room is very livable.

Centrally located, clean communal facilities (shower, bathroom, dining area), allowed us to store luggage before and after trek since we book-ended our stays, filling breakfast, very nice and helpful staff who were always around to answer questions

The staff are really nice - friendly & helpful! The boxed breakfast for early start was great and the served breakfast also lovely.

The window in the room didn’t shut properly so we had to stuff tissues in to close the gap, it could be easily fixed. The door to the room has a window with a sheet over but someone could look through side gaps - privacy stickers over the glass would be better. There is no communal kitchen space so a room (or even shared) kettle would be useful. The only shared space is within the cafe or outside so I think it’s better described as a B&B than a hostel

Protein zum Frühstück. Wir schlugen vor, die Eier selbst mitzubringen um uns ein Omelett zu machen. Am letzten Tag erhielten wir wenigstens ein gekochtes Ei. Das Lunchpaket war sehr dürftig. Candybar zu süss, hätte gerne mehr Käse oder ein Ei statt Süssgetränk erhalten. Die Vorbereitung am Abend vorher war aber sehr zuvorkommend.

The team there was super nice and helpful in all things, absolutely great!

Constant noise every day unfortunately, they were fixing up cars next door with super loud and annoying music all day, and in the evening we could hear word for word the conversations of customers of the bar as we were right above it, until it closed at 11pm for finally some quiet time. Not great if you want some rest.

The only thing to note is depending on which room you get light and noise can flood in. But I already had a sleeping mask with me so it wasn’t an issue.

Location absolutely excellent and convenient. The food was healthy and freshly made to order. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The ambiance is fantastic. I much enjoyed and preferred my stay here over 2 different high end hotels I stayed at during my stay to Puerto Matales

My private room was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely big window and the shared bathrooms were well organised. Amazing location for exploring puerto natales or picking up trek supplies. The team are welcoming. The breakfast is topnotch one of the best hostel breakfasts I’ve had!

Me encantó la ubicación, muy céntrico para recorrer la zona con tranquilidad, además la gente muy amable y simpática, las instalaciones estaban coherentes a lo yo buscaba.... Además la cerveza muy buena 😊 :p

Tal vez la variedad de la carta no era tanta, pero cumple para lo que es el restobar del Hostal...

Muy majo el personal. Los baños compartidos organizados de una manera cómoda: en realidad son tres mini baños, solo los lavabos están en el pasillo del baño. Las camas cómodas y las habitaciones bien calentitas si pides al personal que encienda la estufa.

Lovely welcoming staff with a great attitude. The fact you can get food here too that’s really good was a massive bonus. Comfortable surroundings and atmosphere and love that the dogs are taken care of!

It’s a bit creeky and you can hear people moving about and the music pre 11pm

Wundervolles Team, super nett und extrem gut organisiert! Wir haben dort die Nacht vor und nach unserem Trek im Torres del Paine NP verbracht. Da wir früh los mussten, gab es ein reichhaltiges und liebevoll hergerichtetes Frühstück "to go". Gepäck, was wir im NP nicht brauchten, konnten wir im Zimmer lassen, bei der Rückkehr stand es im neuen Zimmer schon bereit. Alles sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Restaurant sah auch toll aus. Alles in allem ein top Service, sehr zu empfehlen!

Nichts - das Hostel hat unsere Erwartung deutlich übertroffen! Alles bestens. :-)
