Reviewed Sep 10, 2026I really liked the volunteers working there. They were super friendly and not distant AT ALL. Had so much fun talking to them and enjoying each others company. The manager came by every now and then and he was also super friendly. They helped me solve with every problem i faced and made my stay much easier. I would also really like to mention the terrace which was one of the best things in the hostel. We hung out there every day, played music on speakers and talked to each other. The rooms were also very good. Also the location was perfect. Nice view and at the same time very close to the centre.
The beds were a bit old and sometimes I struggled going into my upper bed without waking up the roomate sleeping under me.

Personnel inexistant, check in sur le pouce au milieu d’un couloir et pas de check out, pas de réponses à nos requêtes pour tout ce qui manquait dans la chambre. Un lit double et un lit simple, mais pas de draps pour ce dernier. Une serviette de bain et un peignoir troué pour 3, pas de tapis de bain ni rien. Rideaux pas assez long pour couvrir toute la fenêtre. Douche qui fuit, pas si grave. Un plafonnier sur 2 qui marche, lumière du salon pas d’interrupteur donc on ne pouvait pas l’éteindre. Et le pompom : On ne pouvait pas mettre de pq dans les toilettes (on peut comprendre), la petite poubelle avait des trous, et il n’y avait pas de sac plastique. Comment dire… constipation obligatoire.

Leider war es in der Nacht sehr laut. Wenn jemand Hostel Vibes sucht ist die Unterkunft eher nicht geeignet. Personal wirkte nett aber distanziert.

Un petit bémol, le bâtiment est très bruyant, avec une insonorisation très légère.

La propreté, la qualité des chambres, l'accueil du manager, il n'y a plus de forfait Surf and Yoga avec lunch et diner. Le manager dormait sous mon lit, ça sentait fort la cigarette. l'accueil etait zappé, Trop bruyant ! je ne recommande pas surtout si vous voulez vivre l'experience d'hostel avec une certaine cohesion.

El ruido. Era difícil dormir por las noches tanto por el ruido de la calle que imagino que pasa en los demás alojamientos de la zona como también de los demás huéspedes del nuestro que llegaban muy tarde y gritando. Nos quedamos sin agua en los grifos aunque se solucionó rápido.

He also has a great sense of humor, I laughed a lot during my stay thanks to him. The hostel itself was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. Since it wasn’t surf season, there weren’t many guests around, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the tranquility without any noise or distractions.

Leider war das Zimmer in keinem guten Zustand, die Möbel war gut. Jedoch gab es viel Schimmel und das Personal hat trotz mehrfachen Fragen keine Seife aufgefüllt, sodass während des gesamten Aufenthalts keine Seife vorhanden war. Dazu war die Lage faltig laut durch die engen Straßen.

Nous n’avons pas apprécié le soir, car des personnes étaient sur le rooftop. Il y avait énormément de bruit jusqu’à 2h du matin (or il y a des règles pour qu’il n’y est plus de bruit à 10h du soir) . Rien n’est isolé. Pour la propreté de la chambre, à moitié propre les draps et serviettes étaient tachés. Concernant le personnel, aimable à moitié.

Reviewed May 3, 2026Loved the location, the rooftop and the interior decor. The beds were comfortable and clean. We stayed in the last floor and had a view of the ocean. Also, we didn’t hear or feel any noise/smell from the street so that was good.
It was really loud on the terrace at night. Which wouldn’t be a huge problem if the entry doors to the room were properly insulated from sound. While in bed you could hear each word so clearly like if someone was in your bedroom.

Tout. Le personnel inexistant. La saleté des WC et de l'endroit. Les puces de lit. Je me suis levé avec pleins de piqûres. Aucun accueil et le départ. Vers 2h du matin, on a essayé de rentrer dans notre chambre alors que nous dormions. La chambre avait été louée 2 fois. Les WC était très sale. Une honte.

La posizione è ottima e Taghazout è comunque un villaggio movimentato, quindi c’è sempre qualcosa da fare. Un grazie speciale a Tommaso e Victor, i due volontari, sempre gentili e disponibili. Grazie anche a tutto lo staff per l’accoglienza e l’atmosfera positiva. Consigliato!

The staff weren't always there and could be unfriendly, but the volunteers were lovely. The door was left open and sometimes random people came in which didn't feel safe but there were no staff around to help. Could also hear every time someone went up the stairs and I was often woken up by the room above me. Half the light bulbs weren't working. A clean halfway through the week would have improved my stay - fresh bedding, bin emptying, sweeping the sand etc.

Lid of toilet seat falls onto your back when using the toilet. No shower mat or hand towel, and the shower stand was broken. Towels provided were soft but ended up with coloured towel fluff everywhere. Walls are thin and unfortunately other guests did not respect the quiet times.

We did not have the room which we booked. It was tiny, dirty, mouldy and damp, when we requested for it to be cleaned, we were told that someone would come, then the next day turned up and it had not been touched. We asked again and nothing happened. Toilet seat was broken, shower was broken, there was mould on the ceiling and the sheets hadn’t been cleaned and were covered in blood stains and body hairs. Very disappointing stay
