Magdalena Beach House

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero molto piacevole! La struttura è molto bella, curata e pulitissima. Ma ciò che abbiamo apprezzato maggiormente è stata l’accoglienza e la disponibilità dello staff. A causa del terremoto abbiamo avuto un ritardo notevole e siamo arrivati a tarda notte, ma ci hanno aspettato senza problemi e ci hanno accolto con grande entusiasmo, facendoci sentire subito a nostro agio. Sono stati disponibili per qualsiasi necessità e ci hanno dato ottimi consigli per vivere al meglio il nostro soggiorno. Un’altra cosa che ci ha fatto davvero piacere è stata la possibilità, di ordinare del cibo e mangiare direttamente lì insieme a loro. È stata una serata molto piacevole e informale, quasi come essere in famiglia, che ci ha permesso di conoscerci e condividere un momento davvero speciale. Persone gentili, disponibili e attente, che hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più bello. Consigliamo assolutamente questa struttura e speriamo di poter tornare!

Schöne saubere Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Hatten ein großes Zimmer im ersten Stock mit toller Aussicht ins Grüne und sogar etwas Meerblick. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ausreichend. 24/7 gratis Wasser, Kaffee und Tee wurde aufgrund der Hitze ausgiebig genutzt und auch über das Moskitonetz waren wir sehr froh. Aus unserer Sicht ein Top Preis - Leistungsverhältnis.

Der Weg von der Hauptstraße zur Unterkunft ist etwas schlecht ausgeleuchtet und die schöne Aussicht vom Zimmer muss man sich über einen teilweise steilen Pfad erst verdienen. Soll aber keine Kritik an der Unterkunft sein, sondern nur ein allgemeiner Hinweis.

Sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war lecker. Die Unterkunft ist schön gemacht, es war sauber und die Katzen sehr süss. Es liegt eigentlich nahe am Strand, was schön ist und nahe zum Tayrona Nationalpark aber es hat leider fast keine Restaurants um Abend zu essen. Als wir da waren mussten wir 3x im gleichen Restaurant essen und das war nur so mässig.

Cafe et the a disposition. Hote et personnel tŕes accueillant et serviable , la proprietaire est tres gentille et parle anglais. Une très bonne adresse !!

Rustig gelegen, fijne locatie; dicht bij de weg maar je hoort alleen de zee en de natuur. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en Maria is een heel fijne gastvrouw. Ik kom hier graag terug.

Besser geht’s nicht , Nur 10 min vom Tropenstrand liegt dieses besondere Beach House , man fühlt sich mitten im Djungel, die Zimmer groß , sauber, ein wunderbar großes Bett und diese herrliche Aussicht , der Service , so freundlich , so entgegenkommend .. ich kann nur herzlich danken für unvergesslich schöne Tage dort !

Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren , nur ein Hinweis , für den Gang abends auf dem Weg vom Gästehaus zum Restaurant am Strand wäre eine Taschenlampe schon sehr nützlich

Die Lage ist super, nahe beim Strand und umgeben von Wald. Es ist sehr ruhig und das Personal ist extrem hilfsbereit.

Piękny obiekt w przepięknym miejscu, niesamowity widok na dzungle i morze karaibskie. Śniadania znakomite. Personel i pani właścicielka bardzo mili. Polecam serdecznie ten obiekt.

I absolutely loved Magdalena Beach House and can wholeheartedly recommend. It is not right by the beach but a nice 5 minute walk up from the main street, so super quiet and with wonderful views. For me, it's exactly the way an accommodation should be - spacious and clean rooms, well thought through and maintained facilities, stylish accessories, yummy breakfast and the most friendly and welcoming helpful host and staff. Good starting point for excursions in the area and with access to one of the nicest beaches.

I loved everything. One just needs to mention that there are stairs between reception/breakfast area and rooms so think about it if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. Also, bring a flashlight to walk more comfortably around the hotel or to the street where the shops and restaurant are.

Ontzettende lieve en behulpzame host, Maria. Heel gastvrij en heeft mij goed geholpen met vragen. De kamer was prachtig! 5 min lopen van het strand en 10 min van de entree Tayrona Park. Rustige plek met 5 kamers beschikbaar. De bussen naar TP pak je langs de weg , gaan om de 15 min en is tevens de bus van Santa Marta richting Palomino. Heel makkelijk allemaal. Ik kom graag terug :) ontbijt was ook heerlijk.

We loved our stay in Magdalena Beach House! The whole accommodation as well as our room was really beautiful and we had a stunning view from our room. There was no AC but it was not necessary since the room stayed quiet cool during the day. The breakfast was also great, the WiFi was fast and the staff and owner were super friendly and welcoming. It’s just a short walk to the beach and it was the perfect accommodation for us to relax a little bit. We wished we could have stayed longer!

La hospitalidad de Maria fue increíble, el sitio fue tal cual esperado. El sitio cumple con las expectativas y tiene gatos y perros bonitos. Está bien ubicado porque esta cerca a la carretera y al mar.

Es un hotel boutique que está en plena naturaleza. Las habitaciones están decoradas con mucho gusto y son super bonitas. Tienen una terraza con vistas a la selva increíbles. La cama es super cómoda y el baño muy grande, con mampara y cada día te cambian las toallas. El desayuno está delicioso, lo preparan al momento cada día. Hay dispensadores de agua lo que es muy cómodo. Magdalena, la propietaria, es súper amable y se preocupa mucho por qué estés a gusto y explicarte todas las cosas que puedes hacer en la zona. En 5 min en buseta llegas a la puerta del Tayrona. La playa de enfrente, Los Cocos, es muy chula y tiene un restaurante super rico (Yari Pau). Tiene bastantes olas, pero te puedes bañar.

Maria hat 3 Frühstücke zur Auswahl, die alle sehr lecker sind. Sie hilft in allen Belangen mit Gepäck, Taxi und gibt gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Schöne Zimmer im oberen Bereich, Moskito-Netze über den Betten schützen vor Mokitos und das, was die Gekkos gerne fallen lassen. An diesen lieben Haustieren sollte man sich nicht stören, auch wenn sie nachts miteinander kommunizieren. Hunde, Katzen und Kröten gibt es auch. Die Geräuschkulisse ist die eines Urwaldes würdig - man bekommt Besuch von Vögeln, interessanten aber harmlosen Insekten und Affen - einfach großartig. Sichere Gegend, auch im Dunkeln (Stirnlampe nicht vergessen), man ist schnell am Strand - tolle Brandung und leckere Fischrestaurants - und mit den örtlichen Bussen ist man schnell und günstig im Tayrona Park und in Palomino. Der Fahrstil von den Busfahrern ist, wie überall in Kolumbien, kriminell! Das waren schöne und spannende Tage im Dschungel.

On est en pleine nature, l'habitation s'y fond parfaitement, dans un environnement luxuriant. Le réveil avec les chants des oiseaux, on se sent bien, sur une bonne literie, à l'abri sous la moustiquaire...

Quand on est loin de tout c'est bien de pouvoir s'approvisionner de quelques victuailles sur place.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Bett sehr komfortabel! Die Besitzerin war sehr hilfsbereit und hat einem gute Tipps gegeben. Es ist sehr ruhig - man hört nur die Tiere in der Umgebung.

Posto molto carino e ben curato. La posizione è strategica per raggiungere sia il parco Tayrona (5 min in macchina dall’ingresso principale) sia per le principali spiagge e beach club fuori dal parco. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite. Il personale è davvero fantastico, sempre disponibile e solare. Super consigliato!

Le grand lit moelleux! L’emplacement était parfait entre le parc Tayrona et les alentours de Palomino. Il est facile de se déplacer sur la côte en sautant dans un bus depuis la route principale. L’accueil et le personnel est chaleureux. Les pancakes délicieux :) L’établissement est discret, dans la nature, au calme. Parfait pour de bonnes nuits et explorer la côte.

L’allotjament està al mig del bosc i té una tranquilitat especial! El personal de l’allotjament és molt atent i t’ajuda a resoldre els dubtes que tinguis!

Per arribar a les habitacions has de pujar per un camí amb trams amb escales de troncs bastant empinat. Si portes maletes grans es fa difícil i costós arribar-hi!

Buen alojamiento, ubicado muy cerca a la Troncal del caribe y también cercano a la playa. Hay algunos restaurantes y mercados en la zona, se puede llegar en el autobus que hace el trayecto Santa Marta-Palomino. Las instalaciones están muy bien, la cocina se encuentra equipada, hay buena conexión de internet y la habitación estaba limpia y bien equipada.

Apenas hice check in le pedí a la recepcionista agendar un servicio de masajes para el día siguiente, quedamos en que me confirmaba pero no lo hizo hasta el día siguiente por la mañana (ya estaba trabajando y con el horario de check out ya no me daban los tiempos para hacerlo). Hubiese preferido una disculpa, pero hizo como que no se había olvidado y me preguntó si "Al final iba a querer los masajes", cuando nunca había dudado de hacerlo simplemente esperé a una confirmación que no llegó.

Es gibt nix auszurichten. Alles war super, wir (2 Familien) hatten die ganze Unterkunft für uns alleine.

Amazing stay - beautiful room, huge bed and nice bathroom. Maria and staff were fantastic and gave us lots of helpful suggestions on our trip to Tayrona. Breakfast was fab and use of the kitchen very handy. Los cocos beach was nice to spend some time in the evening.

Una estancia agradable, el lugar en que se ubica es muy agradable, naturaleza y clima fresco por la vegetacion. el desayuno es delicioso y con tres opciones. la habitacion, limpieza y tranquilidad es destacable. Ademas esta a solo 5 minutos de la playa los cocos, la cual es muy tranquila, cuenta con restaurante a precios comodos y platos locales muy ricos.

Le logement est incroyable, vue sur la foret et on peut observer des perroquets vers 7h du matin! Reveil au bruit des oiseaux. Salle de bain super et notre hôte était incroyablement gentille. Je reviendrai avec plaisir !!

Dobry hotel na krótki stop w spokojnym miejscu. 10 min do nie zatłoczonej plaży, 5 min do głównej drogi skąd można złapać autobus do Parku Tayrona oddalonego 10 min jazdy. Sympatyczny personel, dobre śniadania.

Niewielka część wspólna przy recepcji, ale nie była to wielka niedogodność bo i tak większość czasu spędza się poza obiektem.

Algo aislado, estando en alto se echa de menos que las habitaciones y el propio hotel tengan algo más de vista, los árboles no permiten ver mucho. La subida a las habitaciones es algo empinada.

We had a room with a sea view on the highest floor. The sea is far away and sometimes barely visible, but the view over the trees is very nice since the place is high on the hill. The interior is nice and stylish, and the bathroom is high standard. The staff was nice and helpful. Good Wi-Fi. No air conditioning, but there were two fans and good air circulation. Coffee, tea, and cold water were available for free, which was very nice. You can really feel the jungle around— I spotted monkeys, lots of birds, big colorful insects, and spiders, etc. (of course, outside, not in the rooms!). The beautiful beach is a 7-minute walk away. It’s great because there are very few people, lots of cormorants, and two beach restaurants with good prices and delicious food. A 30-minute walk along the beach leads to a place where you can rent a kayak to explore the river. The sea here is very rough, so it’s not very good for swimming, but you can surf or jump with the waves. ;) The place is a 5-minute walk from the main road, where you can catch a bus every 20 minutes (to Santa Marta, Tayrona, or Palomino), but it’s far enough that you don’t hear the noise of passing trucks. Only on Saturday did we hear loud music from the bar.

Now, the stairs. Yes, I had read about them before and didn’t take it too seriously, but if you are elderly or have health issues, they can be a challenge—especially in the evening when the lighting is poor. It’s not the height itself, but the steps are made of irregular tree roots. I’m fit, I’m a hiker, and I still needed my partner’s help to carry my luggage upstairs. And I only risked bringing tea from the reception in the dark in my flip-flops once. :) Only cold water. I know it’s very common in the whole region, but for the price and standard, you expect a bit more.

Me encantó el lugar privilegiado en el que se encuentra, el personal (concretamente Mateo) tan cercano y servicial facilitándonos todo lo necesario en todo momento.

The location is great for visiting Parque Tayrona. The ladies working there were really helpful and kind, they gave us a room upgrade as a bigger room was available. The room was very clean, spacious and had good fans and a mosquito net! The breakfast is cooked fresh each morning and very tasty. It is a quiet and relaxing place. There are only a couple of small shops and restaurants nearby but this wasn’t a problem for a short stay.

Wenig Tourismus und Ruhe, direkt in der Natur. Großes Zimmer und bequemen Bett. Hatten schöne Abende an der Bar mit kühlen Craftbeer.

Wirklich ein sehr schöner Ort. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und mitten im Dschungel. Auch nicht weit zum Strand (5min zum Playa Coco) und nicht weit zum Nationalpark als Tagesausflug perfekt (mit Bus). Frühstück war sehr lecker. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Danke für eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Mir hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen! Es liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten. Zum Strand geht man nur ein paar Minuten. Die Inhaberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet (Zimmer mit Schaukelstuhl und Hängematte). Das Frühstück ist prima (drei Optionen zur Auswahl).

Alles war super

Belle maison d'hôte, moderne, chambres spacieuses et très confortables, en hauteur dans la forêt, avec vue sur la mer. Grand lit avec moustiquaire. Très bien situé à Los Cocos, à 5' de l'arrêt de bus, en retrait de la route. Proximité de l'entrée du parc Tayrona (5' en bus) et sur la route de Palomino (30' en bus). La plage, très agréable, et les restaurants sont à 5' à pied. Très bon petit déjeuner, varié, café et eau à volonté également dans la journée. Accueil très sympathique. Ne convient pas à des personnes qui seraient à mobilité réduite (escaliers dans les bois pour accéder au bâtiment d'hébergement depuis l'accueil). Compte tenu de la période de faible affluence, nous avons été gentiment surclassés pendant les 3 jours. A recommander sans réserve !

Das Personal zeigte sich uns gegenüber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wurden drei verschiedene Speisen zum Frühstück angeboten. Die Unterkunft ist nicht weit vom Strand und mit dem öffentlichen Bus kommt man von der Hauptstraße auch schnell zum Tayrona Park. Wir waren abends immer in dem Lokal um die Ecke essen, da gibt es reichlich Angebot. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Für Pärchen oder Familien ist die Unterkunft schön und ruhig. Für Reisende alleine könnte es hier jedoch schwerer sein Kontakte zu knüpfen, da die Gäste recht verteilt wohnen. Wir würden die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen.

Es gab keine wesentlichen Sachen, die uns nicht gefallen haben. Das Mückennetz war etwas unpraktisch, da es keinen Aus- beziehungsweise Eingang hatte und man somit immer das ganze Netz anheben musste, wodurch mehr Tiere herein kamen.

It is a great place to stay if you're looking to relax while still being close to the beach and Tayrona Park (about 15 minutes by bus). I traveled alone and enjoyed my stay. The rooms are surrounded by nature, you can hear the birds in the morning and crickets at night. I felt safe at all times, and the breakfast was decent. There's also a kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. The staff is kind and always attentive to your needs

There is always room for improvement. I stayed in one of the ground-level rooms and the curtains covering the doors and windows did not fully cover them and moved easily in the wind, which can be a bit uncomfortable if, like me, you value privacy.

Uns hat es hier wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Man ist abseits der Straße einen Waldweg entlang sehr ruhig gelegen und braucht trotzdem gar nicht lang zum Strand, Restaurante und ein paar kleinen Läden. Das Zimmer unten hatte ein sehr bequemes Bett, alles war sauber und direkt vor der Tür eine schönes kleines Gärtchen, man kann sich auf der Wiese auf der Liege entspannen. Die Küche unten ist gut ausgestattet, man hat alles was man zum kochen benötigt. Das inklusive Frühstück war lecker und groß. Es gibt viele süße Katzen auf dem Gelände, die gerne mit einem kuscheln. Mateo, der Host, war sehr nett und hat sich gut um uns gekümmert :-) Wir hatten eine gute Zeit, danke dir !

Great price and really comfortable. The room is very spacious and clean. A few minutes away from the main road. You can reach the hotel by bus from Santa Marta or Minca very easily. 15 mins away by bus from the tayrona park entrance.

In the middle of nature, close to an exotic, very long, beautiful, non-touristic beach, and close to the national park. Magdalena Beach House is a great place to relax, walk, swim, or eat very fresh fish at the Coco beach restaurant. I got super service. Relaxed after hard traveling. It's just a very friendly place. La ubicación esta muy bien porque esta bastante cerca caminando a la playa, pero todavia queda por otro lado de la carretera y esta mas aislado. El desayuno era delicioso y la habitación era muy comoda. Habia una fuente de agua potable. Volveria!

El restaurante en la carretera ponia musica ballenato algunas noches y se escuchaba en la habitación. No estaba un nivel duro, pero que lastima que no se escucha de la naturaleza.

The hotel is a bit further away from the park, if you take the colectivo it will take around 10mn. It's super cute, super calm, and well managed. We only stayed one night, but it was great. You can pay by card too ! Yes, the water is cold, but if you've been traveling around Colombia for a bit, it won't be frightened you

Le service du personnels, exemple la propriétaire s'est occuper de nous faire le lavage de notre linge, nous étions en route depuis deux semaines. Le endroit est très bien, reculé de la grande route entièrement dans la nature. Le déjeuner est de qualité.

Pas d'eau chaud, WIFI est soso lala, l'accès à l'appartement est assez difficile, un sentier pas faite pour des gens de presque 80 ans, mais tout ça se comprend nous sommes pas dans une grande ville

De gastvrouw en de netheid van de locatie. Koffie, thee en water gehele dag gratis verkrijgbaar. Alles was gewoon in de puntjes geregeld. Deze locatie ligt in tegenstelling tot veel andere locaties in deze omgeving niet aan de weg, dus dat is heerlijk rustig. Meer dan goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Staff were very friendly and were extremely helpful with an issue we had (not hotel related). Location is stunning. The optional vegetarian dinner was delicious. Only a 10 minute walk from the beach but feels really remote.

it's a very very beautiful place for everyone who wants to stay in the middle of nature, sleeping with the sound of the waves of the sea, waking up with the singing of the birds and not being disturbed by the different noises of parties, music and so on. With some "buts" that have to be known (see below). The very strong point definitely is the owners and staff: so lovely ! And of course the position in the hills not far from the sea - in the middle of the woods, but only a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the beach. Good point to start excursions to nearby Tayrona or to Don Diego / Buritaca / Palomino - transport by bus; taxi or mototaxi service is also available. We really enjoyed our 4 days we spent there!

this is not the negative part, but some things people should know: - there is no hot water; but the water is not freezing cold, just very refreshing - to the reception and then up to the building you have to walk a couple of steps up into the woods, in parts the steps are only the roots of the trees. - the walls are really thin. So be sure that the other guests (only 5 rooms) share the same ideal of enjoying the quiet atmosphere. Because otherwise you become witness of really really everything.

Muy lindo hotel, excelente para el contacto de la naturaleza, el personal nos atendió muy amable. La habitación amplia y muy cómoda. Todo estaba impecable. Y ropa de cama limpia y confortable. Está a 8 - 10 min caminando de la avenida principal y a 5 en moto taxi.
