The kitchen is big and well equipped with two big stoves. Some couches, but not enough for everybody. The common areas were cleaned a lot during the day, so it was very clean.

Our 6 bed dorm was really small with no room for the luggage beside the underneath-the-bed lockers. So (un)packing is not possible for more than two people at the same time (and no-one should want to enter the room). No place to put your stuff when in bed, so the phone might fall in between bed and wall while charging. There were some phone holder, but they didn't seem to last long.

Great location directly in the city center. Hiking trails, restaurants, supermarket and bus station in walking distance. Staff especially at reception is really friendly and supportive. Common kitchen is very well organized and everything is very clean

This is between an 8 and a 9 imo :) I found the staff amazing (that's mostly why I was thinking a lot if I should give a 9) and had fun chats with them. The kitchen is also great and rather big with many fridges and sometimes even a BBQ.

The rooms can get a bit hot at night and I found the top beds to be strictly inferior. If you don't have to get up at night it's not too bad though:p There could be a bench more outside and some details here and there, other than that nothing crazy was missing. Overall for the bed setup I am more inclined to give an 8 overall.

A very pleasant hostel with a true backpacker vibe. The staff was helpful and the people were friendly.

I didn’t really like the bathroom. The doors didn’t lock properly, and the shower stall wasn’t very comfortable.

Personnel super, grande cuisine, eau chaude et super localisation pour aller marcher et profiter des commerces autour. Les propriétaires sont vraiment très accueillants.

La wifi pourrait mieux fonctionner mais c'est un problème global à El Chalten. Les oreillers un peu durs et des rideaux seraient appréciables, ainsi que des tablettes pour poser ses affaires dans le lit

とにかく移動しやすかった。バスターミナル、登山口、スーパーもそんなに遠くないです。

キッチンは広いのですが混み合う時間をさければ大丈夫です。あとベッドにカーテンがあったらいいかも…

Bar direkt unter dem Hostel / unter meinem Zimmer mit Musik bis in die Nacht, enge Zimmer ; In der Küche soll man seine Nahrungsmittel Taggen, aber es gibt nichts zum Beschriften.

Really nice stay with equipped kitchen. Walk to many hikes just from the accommodation.

L’emplacement est super en plein dans une des rues commerçantes. Le personnel est aidant sur les randonnées. La cuisine commune est grande et bien équipée. Les dortoirs et salles de bain communes sont grands également et fonctionnels. Il y a des endroits avec canapé pour se poser.

La wifi ne fonctionne pas super bien. Les lits superposés sont très haut (le lit du dessus), c’est une vraie escalade mais ce n’est pas dramatique. Et l’endroit mériterait d’être un peu plus cosy mais tout est super fonctionnel donc c’est juste un point d’amélioration.

The room was quite packed, the window could not be opened completely to get clean air and noisy during the night due to the bar below.

Nice staff members! Good kitchen, every bunk has an outlet, good shower room. Each room had a shoe rack outside the door. Great location, especially close to the trail to laguna Torre.

הקומה השנייה של המיטה גבוהה מדי ומתנדנדת, הייתה תקרית לא נעימה ואי הבנה מצד הצוות שהיה מבאס, 2 שירותים משותפים ל10 חדרים שלא היו הכי נקיים. הייתי בהוסטלים זולים פי 2 וטובים יותר

직원분들 모두 너무 친절하고 이곳의 물가가 비싸서 뭔가 사먹기가 부담스러운데 음식도 만들어먹기 좋은 시설을 가지고 있어요 그리고 깨끗하고 항상 청소하고 관리하는 분들이 있는것같았어요 가성비 좋은 곳 입니다😆

L'emplacement est top en plein centre du village, l'hostel est très propre et la grande cuisine est plutôt bien équipée. Les chambres sont aussi correctement aménagées. L'accueil est sympathique également

Le personnel de l'entretien n'est pas très sympathique et s'occupe parfois des communs quand on en a besoin (au moment des repas, le soir pendant les douches... Ca ne paraît pas nécessaire de nettoyer si souvent...). L'aménagement des sanitaires est un peu particulier, on n'a pas beaucoup d'intimité.

위치 좋고, 화장실 부엌 등 공용시설은 좋았지만, 방 창문 틈으로 바람이 들어와서 방이 너무 추웠음. 화장실이 더 따뜻할 정도. 1층 침대 썼는데 2층 침대는 좀 높아보임

Mieliśmy domek obok hostelu i w trakcie nocy bardzo mocno wiało i czuliśmy każdy podmuch wiatru, ciezko było przez to zasnąć. Bardzo szybko robiło się zimno przez nieszczelne okna

Kind staff and good location for everything.

Bar below my room was noisy until night.

Comfortable rooms, clean, large kitchen and dining area, large bathroom with hot water and great shower heads. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place is right at the mid-point of town, so it's easy to access all the trailheads and grocery stores.

Had the best week in Chalten thanks to the lovely family that own and run the hostel. Big kitchen, hot showers and location super central to everything. It’s basic but comfortable and you feel like part of the family - asado night was delish !

Could use a bigger sofa/ chill area that isn’t just the kitchen, when the hostel is busy the sofa area upstairs only fits around 4-5 people

Clean space to stay, one of the cheapest places in Chalten. The owner is very friendly.

The hosts are welcoming and the place is centrally located in town. They give you clean and personal cutlery if you ask for it.

Overall I felt this hostel had the worst price-quality balance of all the hostels I stayed in during my trip in Argentina. The hostel is very basic. The chairs and tables in the common rooms are not especially comfortable and need an update. The electricity socket at my bed did not work and the wifi works only from time to time. The hostel is not bad, but not worth the $106 USD I spent on it for three nights on a dormitory. However, El Chaltén is a very expensive place so the high costs are not altogether due to the hostel itself.

Staff was very, very helpful

There was limited privacy in the bathroom and the public area was not welcoming and well equiped.

We stayed in a small house apartment behind the hostel. It was very nice, and had everything we needed. Space is tight so we needed to be organised with our baggage.

The owners are the best, Marbel and Omar have been so welcoming, supportive and attentive. This way, they gifted us an amazing time in El Chalten with exclusive hiking tips. The price x quality was very reasonable and we had all the equipment we could have wished for, in kitchen and bathroom.

Everything was good!

The staff is very nice and helpful. Location is in the center and 10 minutes walk from the bus station. Bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and water pressure was good.

There's no shelf for personal things like phone, etc. by the bed. Kitchen is not well equipped. The kitchen area is too tight, especially around the sink and stove. There is only 1 stove and not all the stove burners work and on the ones that work, the heat is only high and cannot be lowered properly. There are no enough utensils to cook.

Located at a great spot where many of the hikes begin. There are groceries and equipment rental stores nearby. By the number of people they are hosting, the facilities were relatively clean. The bunk beds have storage below them that are lockable.

Common areas were not enough, they were always crowded and finding a spot to have dinner became hard. The window didn't seal in the room, leaving a breeze to always enter.

Location

First night the bed springs dug in my ribs and back, however I asked for a chance of bed and they were kind enough to provide it. Kitchen was a pain as there was only one sink. Could do with a chill out area with comfy chairs.

The stay was ok. The beds were comfortable, had power sockets and lockers.

The main areas of the hostel are very uncomfortable and it is overpriced for what it is, as are most things in el chalten. Sadly, there is no bit of privacy, as you cannot even lock the Toilettes and staff watches every move in the common area and treated people like children who don't know how to behave, e.g.: you had to ask for everything up to the pen to mark your food at the reception. The personal lamps on the beds are too bright to be used when others are sleeping. But our main problem was that we didn't feel welcome at all, more as if we should be thankful to be able to stay in the hostel. This was cemented by the statement when we arrived to be lucky that we only have to change rooms once during our stay. For which we had to fully check out and in again after one night and leave our stuff out in the open without a way to lock it for the whole day. All in all the hostel is ok for a very short stay, but if you can, go somewhere else!

Great staff work here and they were happy to change my room which I didn't like because it was facing the busy street and I had a snorer next to me. Kitchen area doesn't get too busy at night.

The showers were right next to the toilets. Hot steam from shower while people go #2 is no bueno.

The location of the hostel was on the Main Street and the start of the trails was close by.

It was too expensive for what it was. There were no locks in the toilets, so anybody could go walk in while you did your business. The light from the street was coming in at night, since the windows were only partially covered. There was a very small area to hang, and the couch was extremely old and uncomfortable
