Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Staff was very friendly, explaining all the details to us and check in was very smooth.
The dorm we were in had lockers labled/designated for each bunk, but other guests had randomly chosen ones for themselves. More critically, many locks were missing keys (stolen by previous guests) or were missing altogether. We suggested the property invest in new locks similar to the type used in Gyms/Health clubs that have thumbwheel dial combinations that guests can set themselves, but can also be accessed with a master key when a guest forgets their combination. This would be kick this property to a 9.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026La ubicación es muy buena, justo enfrente de la playa. Es un alojamiento pequeño, pero muy acogedor. Las habitaciones están bien y son cómodas. Un puntazo que tuviese aire acondicionado, ya que al ser 12 personas en una misma habitación suele hacer bastante calor. Gracias al aire acondicionado, pudimos dormir genial.
Lo único negativo fue el baño. Por la mañana, al levantarnos, no habían repuesto el papel higiénico. Además, la puerta de una de las duchas estaba un poco rota y el agua no regulaba bien la temperatura, pasando continuamente a agua caliente. Finalmente, tuve que ducharme con agua fría.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Saubere schöne Etagenbetten. Unkompliziertes Check in, konnte Bett unten bekommen, allerdings im Schlafsaal der Männer. Toiletten und Dusche recht gut.Receptionistin freundlich. Tolle Lage am Strand
Wegen dem Fest war unglaublicher Lärm bis spät nachts. Man konnte nicht mehr rein nach 21 Uhr. Der Kollege kam zum Fenster rein um die Türe zu öffnen

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Fantastiskt läge! Min första natt i ett rum för 6 personer. Det kändes bra att det var ett rum för endast kvinnor. Receptionisten var mycket trevlig. Rummet var rent och snyggt, likaså köket.
På natten blev det förfärligt varmt och kvavt i rummet. Ett öppet fönster mot rummet bredvid gjorde att alla ljud från båda rummen hördes.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026We were given an upstairs room next door in an historic section of the building with beautiful stone walls decorated immaculately - highly recommended! The staff were really friendly and beachfront views beautiful!
A coffee maker was provided though without providing coffee or the necessary coffee filters it’s pretty useless. For a pilgrim hostal of one night stays it seems a bit strange to expect the pilgrims to bring their own box of coffee filters and bag of coffee. It would have been nice if coffee was provided.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Quiero dedicar no solo un comentario, sino dejar plasmada una experiencia maravillosa que viví en este hostel tan especial. Desde que llegué, sentí que estaba entrando en un hogar. Venía caminando desde Oporto hasta Fão, después de tantos kilómetros recorridos, y encontrarme con una acogida llena de atención, cariño y humanidad hizo que este lugar fuera mucho más que un simple alojamiento. Fue un refugio, pero sobre todo, fue la sensación de estar en casa. Quiero agradecer especialmente a Magdalena por toda su atención, su cariño y esa energía tan especial que transmite y que te envuelve desde el primer momento. Para mí, llegar a este hostel significó mucho más de lo que quizá pueda expresar con palabras. Y al final, Magdalena, cumplí mi objetivo. Llegué a la Catedral de Santiago de Compostela el 03/09 sobre las 13:00, después de 6 días de caminata. Y creo que estos logros tienen un significado todavía más especial cuando en el camino encuentras personas como tú. Gracias por tanto, Magdalena. Sin duda, volveré. Y para todas aquellas personas que estén buscando un lugar donde alojarse: si quieres sentir que, aunque estés a cientos o miles de kilómetros de tu hogar, puedes encontrar un lugar donde sentirte en casa, este es uno de esos lugares. Tekom popoldneva, ko smo nekateri gosti počivali, so se lastniki/zaposleni sprehajali čez skupno sobo (čez vrata notri in čez balkonska vrata ven), pri čemer so bili izjemno glasni in se niso ozirali na goste. Po 17.uri zaposlene sploh ni bilo v nastanitvi ali njeni okolici in so zato gosti, ki so prišli kasneje imeli težave saj se niso mogli prijavit. V kuhinji je večkrat zmanjkalo elektrike - velika težava, če želiš uporabiti mikrovalovno pečico. V kopalnici je prav tako zmanjkalo tople vode.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026La posizione è eccezionale: la struttura si trova letteralmente di fronte alla spiaggia, sulla via principale, il che rende tutto facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Lo staff si è sempre dimostrato gentile e disponibile durante tutto il soggiorno.
l'unica mancanza riscontrata è stata l'assenza di un'area dedicata al lavaggio e, soprattutto, all'asciugatura di asciugamani e vestiario: non essendoci uno spazio apposito (come uno stendino o un'area attrezzata), è risultato scomodo gestire il bucato durante il soggiorno

Insufficient facilities for the number of beds. One sink available, two loos opposite the showers. I did not have a hot shower. I slept well that night, but a couple of us did notice that the bedding / room was damp

The auto lights in the bathroom. While showering they weren't triggered as no one else came in and I fumbled around in the dark. Microwave did not work.

Il prezzo è troppo alto per quello che offrono. Altri posti a un prezzo minore sono meglio. La colazione non ha senso per un pellegrino alle 8.00 la paghi e non la fai . Le lenzuola sono lasciate nello stesso posto dove va messo lo zaino, poco igienico.

He tenido que poner una lámpara en el baño porque no arreglaron la luz en las tres noches que pasé allí. Se escuchó muchísimo ruido de gente desde bien temprano en mi habitación, que daba a la avenida.

Toalett och dusch direkt i rummet. Är man fler än en är det ju sinnessjukt. Varför? Ett jättefint boende i övrigt. Men det och ett takfönster utan mörkläggning gör att jag aldrig skulle bo där igen. Trots att allting annat var bra.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026I didn't sleep much here, it felt like the hostel is inside some store, that was big blurred panorama window with city lights just behind and stinky blankets that were last washed who knows how long ago. Beds are super close to each other so it was 20 people in the room I think. Also it's on the first line, close to the bars, so noise was till late night. Highly not recommended.

Das Zimmer mit 6 Betten hatte kein Fenster, nur oben eine Öffnung zum Nachbarzimmer. In der Toilette ging alle, gefühlten 10 Sekunden das Licht aus und man musste mit dem Händen fuchteln, dass der Bewegungsmelder wieder Licht an machte. Nicht gut.

Mala experiencia. Una persona de nuestro grupo se despertó con numerosas picaduras compatibles con chinches, por lo que recomendamos que revisen la habitación. Además, el alojamiento solo dispone de dos duchas mixtas para al menos 15 personas y sin espacio suficiente, lo que resulta muy incómodo.

The shower was a little awkward as there wasn't much room for clothes getting changed into. The sensor light kept going off so ended up showering in the dark. The door to the mixed shower room was very stiff, noisy and in need of some TLC.

Das Bad ist etwas klein wenn mehrere Personen sich morgens frisch machen möchten. Leider ist der Schlafbereich zum Nebenzimmer oben offen, womit man auch noch zusätzlich die Geräusche aus dem Nebenzimmer hat

Reviewed May 13, 2026Közel van a caminohoz. Az ágy matraca kényelmes volt. Az ajtó előtt van az Óceán.
A szobák zsúfoltak, ablak nélküli, egy felső, nyitott résszel kapcsolódik egy másik szobával. A személyzet hangoskodása reggel és este zavaró. A megérkezésemkor nem tudtak a szobámban saját szekrényhez kulcsot adni. Nagy viták árán sikerült csak megoldást találni. A zuhanyzóban nem biztosított az intimitás, koedukált és csak egy üvegfal van.

Nur zwei Duschen und zwei Toiletten für alle Gäste. Duschtür schließt nicht richtig. Kein Föhn, obwohl es angegeben war. Schlafsaal für Frauen hat kein eigenes Fenster nur ein Loch zum anderen Schlafsaal. Kleine Lampe am Bett hat nicht funktioniert.

Beetje vol en druk, de deuren maken veel geluid, met zoveel mensen op n kamer is dat lastig want er is altijd wel iemand die wil rusten.
