Well, the purpose of me paying them money was for a bed. They are in the business of selling a bed for a night. I don’t expect luxury for 130 euros but I do expect a bed that is acceptable to the reasonable and average person. I had 2 twin beds and both were down to the springs. So I had to strip the linen from one bed to add it to the 2nd bed so it could work as a pad to lay on so I did not feel springs. This Camino Pilgrim would not stay here again for free. Apparently many other guests have similar complaints. Guess they don’t care.

Para o preço deveria ser muito melhor. Quarto que não tapa totalmente a luz, ouve-se bastante baralho da rua. Ok para ir em época baixa sem grande movimento e a preço ok mas nesta altura com muita gente e caro como foi, não recomendo mesmo.

Isolamento não é muito bom, pelo que era muito difícil dormir de manhã quando as funcionárias da limpeza se dirigiam ao piso para começar a limpar, p.e.,, falavam muito alto e era muito barulho com as deslocações do carrinho e aspiradores.

O hotel não dispõe de pequeno-almoço e o quarto familiar não tem um espaço para pequenos preparos (ex: uma pequena bancada, pia e talvez um microondas), apesar de ter uma área (sacada) com mesa e cadeiras para pequenas refeições com vista para o mar. Atenção, a crítica é apenas construtiva, nada disso tira a qualidade do hotel, uma excelente escolha na região.

I felt the amities might have been better addressed since the room was a bit on the higher side of pricing. It's a little thing but something like coffee in the morning, maybe a machine in the lobby, would have been nice.

The 2 bedroom set up was a little weird for 2 couples, but would be perfect for a family with kids, it was only for one night while doing the Camino so really not too much of an issue.

Na descrição do Booking, constava explicitamente que o quarto teria uma cama individual e uma "cama de casal grande (151-180 cm)". Quando nos fomos deitar, deparámo-nos com uma cama de apenas 133 cm de largura por 183 cm de comprimento. Uma cama destas dimensões não pode, de forma alguma, ser considerada uma cama de casal grande para dois adultos. De manhã, expusemos a situação na receção e a colaboradora desvalorizou completamente a nossa queixa, alegando ignorar o tamanho das camas que o próprio alojamento dispõe. Se viaja em casal ou em família, tenha muita atenção às dimensões reais das camas, pois não correspondem ao que o alojamento publicita no Booking. Uma boa localização e limpeza não compensam uma noite inteira sem conseguir dormir. Não recomendo.

The room was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect place to rest and recharge after a long day of walking. The bed was excellent, the facilities were well maintained, and everything felt fresh and welcoming. The location was ideal, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the Camino route itself. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail that made our stay so relaxing. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality and professionalism of the staff. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and ensured that everything was taken care of. It’s clear they take pride in providing an exceptional experience. If you are walking the Camino or visiting Vila Praia de Âncora, I highly recommend Albergaria Quim Barreiros. It offers outstanding value, excellent comfort, and the kind of quality that makes you wish you had booked more than one night.

A pesar de que en el momento de reservar ya lo sabía y de que no es la primera vez que estoy alojada en este hotel y de q hay zona de aparcamiento cerca, hecho de menos aparcamiento.

Habitacion con balcón que daba a la playa, con una magníficas vistas, equipado con mesa y sillas. En los alrededores hay muchos restaurantes y cafeterías. Sin duda repetiremos. El personal muy amable. En resumen, un excelente hotel.
