Awesome spot. You get your own mini room which is very comfortable and private. Very nice staff with a cool bar and restaurant downstairs.

Location is amazing. Rooms and bathroom are clean and the hostel has beautiful aesthetics. The staff is friendly and helpful. Wide range of food and drinks in the menu. Plenty of space to hang out and sit.

This hostel was nice and had everything you need: a restaurant and bar serving very good-quality food at reasonable prices, single rooms with single or double beds, hot water, Wi-Fi, and more. It was also pretty clean, and the room had both A/C and a fan. I pointed out that a was a light sleeper and got a room in the back, which I appreciated a lot. The hostel is quite central, and they also offer help with booking tours and transportation. Overall, I had a very nice stay here. The highlights for me were definitely the staff, who were super friendly and helpful, and Sam, my tour guide for the Killing Cave and Bat Cave. He was great and really made the experience enjoyable. I would give it 8.5/10, but Booking doesn't have half points.

I’m going to point out a few things that I think could have been better, because overall, I had a pretty good stay. So these are only details. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was reliable at the bar and restaurant, and I think it was also good in the rooms at the front of the hostel. However, this wasn’t the case in the back rooms, where the connection was most of the time unreliable. A/C: You don’t have control over the A/C in the room. The air comes into the room through a pipe in the ceiling. It was the first time I had experienced this type of system. Personally, I would have preferred to have some control over the temperature. The rooms are maintained at around 24–25°C, which I believe is also quite common in Cambodia. Mattresses: I just want to mention this before you make a booking: the mattresses are quite firm. If you’re not used to sleeping on a firm mattress, you might want to take that into consideration when choosing your accommodation. Also, if you’re tall (around 5'10" or taller), I would say that the single beds might not be the best option for you. The mattresses are fitted between two walls, and my head and feet were touching both ends of the wall. If you’re tall and still want to stay here, you might want to consider booking a room with a double bed instead.

Loved the location, the restaurant below and the best thing was the owner, she really made our stay, was super knowledgeable and even arranged our sleeper bus to pick us up from the hostel

The mattress was a bit uncomfortable and the bathroom has a bit of a weird smell

Super friendly and clean hostel in a great location in Battambong. The bar and restaurant are excellent, as was the travel service. Loved the cabin concept and execution, it afforded a lot more privacy and comfort than your typical hostel bed. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm visiting the city.

Nice Hostel. The rooms and facilities are just okay, but we liked everything else about this Place. The Bar area and the restaurant are amazing, as well as the Hostel staff. We booked a tour to the bat caves directly with the Hostel. Their guide Tony picked us up and the tour was a 10/10, shoutout to Tony, you beautiful soul!

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the bar downstairs had a nice atmosphere.

While there was air conditioning, it was very weak and I slept poorly when I was there due to being too warm. Staff offered to change us to a different room when we mentioned it, however we thought this would be a similar situation. The warm room and spaces open to the outside (including gaps at the bottom of the doors) meant that I was heavily bitten by mosquitos during my stay there as well, which I had not experienced in other accommodations in Cambodia.

Very good location, friendly staffs, nice room, good hygiene, I like the room with the window that I can open and get sunlight.

The bed mattress, pillow and bed sheet need a little more clean.

Friendly staff who were great in offering help and advice for tours etc. We visited the bat cave organised by the lady at the hostel who also works with a Tuk-Tuk driver during quiet season to ensure he still has work. This was a really nice touch and he was fantastic and walked with us to the temples above the bat cave and explained everything in great detail including personal experiences. The toilets and showers were regularly cleaned by staff and very quiet. Location is good. Nice atmosphere at night, seem to be plenty locals and travellers at the bar/restaurant most nights.

While the idea of the small private rooms with dorm prices is great, we found them extremely stuffy. We had separate rooms. Didn’t feel claustrophobic, but the lack of air inside made it hard to sleep. The air conditioning is one big unit with multiple hoses going into each room, you could hardly feel it coming in when you put your hand up to it. There is a fan but again it’s blowing hot stuffy air. Beds were hard and uncomfortable, we both struggled sleeping. My partner kept waking up with bites. The lighting inside the room is really poor so it was hard to tell if there was mosquitoes in them. Unsure if it was mosquitoes or something else, but after travelling for 5 months we haven’t experienced waking up with bites before. We ate at the hostel one night and the food was ok, we waited a while but the staff member did say they were very busy.

People were very friendly and helpful. Great location. Motorcycles are available for rent which is ideal for travelling in this city.

It‘s very hot in the room! I booked the one with a fan and I couldn‘t sleep all night since the fan is right above you and is very loud. Even though you have your own little room, it’s very noisy and poorly isolated. The staff is ok, but a bit pushy.

Excellent location, near to the market, eateries, river etc. Concept of the separate pod/rooms was different but we appreciate the privacy. Bed was comfy and shared bathroom clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Aircon was completely ineffective. It was extremely hot during our stay and one main cooling unit tubed off into many different rooms was just insufficient, better to pay less for a fan room or choose a different accommodation with proper aircon. Accommodation was extremely dark, we would’ve appreciated a better light or additional lamp.

You can not bring own food( they are a resturant) should do a small backpackers area! Showers little bit dirty/rough. Outdated bathroom area! They lock the big door outside with all the scooters inside when I wanted to leave 6.00 in the morning. Alot of people from outside in the common areas( but okay can be fun) expensive food! Food and cocktails great in the restaurant downstairs, and fairly priced. Rooms are compact but comfortable and clean. Shared bathrooms very clean and towel, shower gel and shampoo provided free of charge.

One of the staff members was helpful and explained things to me about their tours and checked the AC in my room. The sleeping cabins are very, very compact but they are clean.

The sleeping cabins are ridiculously hot inside. Even with the fan on full, I was sweating all night. The AC was very, very lightly blowing some cold air but it did nothing. I was meant to stay for 3 nights but only did one as I was just too hot The bathrooms were also not great. The floor was very dirty and the toilets were not particularly clean. But, in fairness to the hostel, if you can deal with the heat whilst sleeping then I would say you would probably be fine here for a few nights.

Sin duda lo mejor es la ubicación y el personal, muy amable y atento. Te proporcionan toalla de ducha y hay gel de cuerpo en el baño. Puedes rellenar agua potable en recepción. La wifi funciona bien.

A pesar de que en un inicio aprecié tener una habitación individual la sensación era como estar en una celda de cárcel. El tamaño es extremadamente pequeño, no hay ventanas por lo que la ventilación es complicada y la luz de la bombilla es muy escasa. Pagué por habitación con aire acondicionado pero apenas se notaba, deben poner más potencia porque con el calor extremo que hacía no había suficiente aire acondicionado. Abrir y cerrar la puerta era muy tedioso, había que meter la llave de cierta manera concreta, un rollo. La cama era incomodísima, no era un colchón, más bien una colchoneta. Entre la colchoneta y el calor el descanso era complicado. En general creo que hay que darle una vuelta a las habitaciones porque no llegan al mínimo digno todavía, por mucho que sean individuales no recomendaría quedarse aquí. Los tours ofrecidos son más caros que hacerlos por tu cuenta. Pedí una tostada con aguacate y el pan estaba crudo, ni lo tostaron. No tostaron el pan de una TOSTADA. También pedí un coco fresco para beber y estaba pasado, el sabor era rancio y al estar pasado no pude comer la carne de coco del interior. Además los precios del menú estaban algo inflados para la calidad de la comida. Los baños necesitan limpieza más a menudo porque la mayoría de veces que fui era desagradable.

- The room is absolutely boiling hot! It was 37+ degrees when we were there and the AC does basically nothing. The staff very kindly brought us an extra fan but even if you book the AC room it will be very hot if there is a heatwave. We didn’t sleep well at all because of the heat. - Tour we booked was good but seemed to be some confusions with the tour guide about what was included or not. You can get tours for cheaper that include lunch if you book elsewhere.

Favourite place in Battambang! The staff were amazing including Amrith! The shop across the road can book tours for you and the moment I got there i was lucky enough to get on a half day tour with other people within the hour! So good! I had my own room, everything is clean, met some amazing people. the location is amazing as well close to everything! Awesome! Amazing! Thank you to the team at Pomme! You were amazing!

Le personnel est agréable, la nourriture est bonne, l’ambiance est chill et conviviale. Vous serez dans une mini chambrette mais qui garantie votre intimité et vos affaires. On vous fournira une serviette. Je recommande de prendre une chambre avec AC car il fait chaud, ça coûte 0.7$ en + par nuit si je ne me trompe pas. Enfin, je recommande le tour à la journée proposé par l’hôtel avec Tony comme guide.

Nice little hostel. You have the bar/restaurant below and the cabins upstairs (small mini rooms with either AC or windows). Ask for the window room if you can. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is chilled. Would recommend it.

This accomodation was great. Staff was really nice, always there to help u with stuff and u can book trips and everything at the bar. Rooms were perfectly clean and cold at night and it was nice to have your own space. I would personally book a room with airconditioning, with only a fan it’s kinda hot and a room with airconditioning is still really cheap. Downstairs it was a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious! Recommend!!

I really loved the concept of the cabins! It would be great if more hostels did something like this. The atmosphere is nice, also thanks to the restaurant, which offers good meals and has a really nice vibe. I rarely stay somewhere longer than planned, but here I extended my stay because it was simply such a good place to relax. I had a really good rest. Everything is clean, and the internet is good enough for working. Very nice staff.

The air conditioning is a problem. It seems that all the rooms are connected to one ventilation system, which makes it so weak that the temperature in the room is only a few degrees lower than in the non-air-conditioned areas.

Manque un peu de débit, mais on me l'a dit quand je suis arrivé. C'est propre. Je recommande le full day tour a 15$. Merci beaucoup à Tony qui a fait un des meilleurs tours que j'ai eu au Cambodge.

Great, accommodating staff at the bar/front desk. Various tour and sightseeing options, including the local circus, and at fair prices (ask about the tuk tuk tour with Tony). Good food options at the bar as well as plenty of options nearby. Close to markets and the busier parts of town, but far enough to be quiet. Clean showers and toilets. Private rooms (shared bathrooms) at a very good rate.

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were polite, helpful, and friendly. The cabins were very clean, and the bathrooms and toilets were all in good condition. The food was also great. I especially want to thank one of the staff members, Emerate who was truly exceptional and very friendly .

Had a warm hostel feel even with having one’s own private sleeping cube. The room was just a bed but was all that was needed — it was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the lounge was cozy for sitting etc. The bathroom and showers were clean and decent number to never have to wait. The location was also perfect as a base to launch activities and walks to see the murals etc. Staff were kind and helpful. Definitely value for money.

They have the best tour of Battambang! Huge shout out to Tony who is the best tour guide and was the highlight of my trip! Also liked the fact that you had your own room

Great location, quiet place, and helpful, caring staff. I stayed there for four nights and really liked the place—until the last night. Apparently, I had a new neighbor that night, and she turned on her fan at maximum speed. In my room, it created a humming vibration that made it very uncomfortable not only to sleep, but even to stay in the room. As a result, I spent the night downstairs on the restaurant sofa, getting eaten by mosquitoes. The only staff member on premices was sleeping, so there was nobody to resolve that situation.

Tiene una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Me han permitido hacer check-in bien temprano, a las 6:00. Las instalaciones muy limpias. El personal del hostal es inigualable, siempre estuvieron muy atentos para todo lo que necesitaba. Me dieron recomendaciones para hacer el tour de la Bat Cave y Killing Cave. Ellos mismo gestionan los contactos de tours y de transportes. Para el tour, tuve la suerte de conocer a Tony, nuestro conductor del tuk tuk, una persona de gran corazón que hizo de nuestro día el mejor.

On ne peut pas vraiment parler de chambre. C'est un lit avec un crochet pour poser sa serviette. Donc on met ses affaires par terre. Bâtiment du haut peu entretenu. Odeur de cuisine qui remonte dans la salle de bain.

A great place for a couple of nights in your own single room. Clean rooms & bathrooms, friendly staff, cold beer. I didn't eat there but others said it was good. Close to the markets, both day & night and the river.

Really nice vibe! Very clean and the staff were lovely, especially the bartender. I think his name was Armid?? He is such an asset to the hostel.

I had a single cabin room. No way to hang your clothes or unpack but the price was unbeatable so no complaints here! My stay was just a couple of days so not unpacking wasn’t a problem anyway.

The concept of private sleeping cabins is great. Comfortable, quiet place in the center of the town. A free pick-up from the bus stop was a nice add-on.
