Lime & Co in Weligama is an aesthetically pleasing property and a wonderful spot for photography lovers. The pool area offers unlimited 24/7 access, and there is a fully equipped kitchen with all the accessories needed to prepare meals. It also features a cozy leisure area that is perfect for reading books. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the location is ideal situated right on the main road with easy access to nearby towns and the beach directly across the street within easy walking distance. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Weligama!

Noisy at nights and there was anything for eat there.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte qui, e dire che ci siamo trovate benissimo è riduttivo. Il posto gode di ampi spazi comuni, che ci hanno permesso di rilassarci anche nei momenti di pioggia monsonica. Abbiamo giocato a carte la sera sui divanetti sotto il porticato, immerse nel verde e nel silenzio. La stanza era pulita, il bagno spazioso e accessoriato di shampoo, balsamo e sapone. Torneremmo a Midigama solo per dormire ancora qui!

The rooms and the surrounding was clean, We had so much fun, but the rooms are not air conditioned, but it's manageable. Better to bring a mosquito repellent as there can be mosquitoes at night. Overall our stay was wonderful !!

I loved the room and the bathroom layouts and the shower pressure was great.. had hot water and the pool was clean and the dog was very sweet.. walked with us everytime we went out for local food shops and stayed with us and came back.. at nights he slept right outside our door.. the staffs were very friendly and helpful with moving luggage’s..

Absolutamente todo , fui para dos noches y me quedé casi dos semanas..me sentí como en casa ..la habitación super bonita y espaciosa , todo limpísimo..la piscina y el jardín una maravilla . De verdad que esté lugar tiene una energía muy buena .. también un plus es que llega Uber eats y me traían la cena por las noches . Los trabajadores hicieron todo lo posible porque no me faltara de nada . Sin lugar a dudas ..volveré .

Modern accommodation with nice rooms and great pool. Staff were very friendly and the location was great. It’s fairly new and the cafe next door has amazing coffee. Santha the dog was so cute and a highlight for us!

Even though we had a great stay we did leave after one night as there is no air con and the inside of the room was incredibly hot even with a fan. Also the windows dont have blinds are just like mosquitos nets so gets so bright so sadly we couldnt sleep at all.

Blisko pięknej plaży, pomocny personel. Bardzo czyste pokoje, część wspólna przestronna, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Sprzątanie pokoi w trakcie pobytu na najwyższym poziomie. Super basen aby wieczorami wychillować. Opcja pralni, transportu. Niedaleko do sklepu, bankomatu, pociągu. Byliśmy zachwyceni tym miejscem! W okolicy kilka restauracji, bez problemu można zjeść od śniadania po kolację. Na plaży kilka barów z jedzeniem i napojami. Ogólnie cudowne miejsce!

Brakowało klimatyzacji ale ma zostać zamontowana w okolicy maja/czerwca 2026 - remont obiektu. Obiekt sam w sobie go nie wymaga, chodzi tylko o montaż klimatyzatorów. Tuk tuki na przeciwko bardzo nachalni, próbują oszukać, drogie przejazdy. Uber czy PickMe się ich boją ale wystarczy odjeść w bok. To co się tam dzieje jest chore!

I loved it so much that I extended my stay for one more day. A beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained property. The rooms were perfect, and the Wi-Fi was consistently reliable.

However, there were quite a few insects in the room, which was a bit disturbing—even though it’s understandable given the natural surroundings.

Unkomplizierter Check-In. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und man hat sich direkt willkommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer ist schlicht aber trotzdem ordentlich und nicht runtergekommen. Unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis Direkt gegenüber ist ein Strandzugang sowie Bar.

Le personnel était super : accueillant, disponible et toujours prêt à aider ! La piscine est top et les chambres sont v !

Ne manque que la clim, mais nous y avons été en connaissance de cause, alors c'est le jeu !

The staff were super friendly and always happy to help, which made the stay even better. The rooms were really nice, and the pool area outside was a great place to relax. Everything was very clean and well looked after.

One small downside is the train, which can be a bit noticeable in the early morning. However, for us it wasn’t a dealbreaker and didn’t take away from the overall experience.

Breakfast not included.

AC to the rooms could have been a plus.

For a hostel the place was very well presented and a great vibe and great place for budget traveller.

Unglaublich freundliches Personal - auch eine Verlängerungsnacht konnte kurzfristig unkompliziert ermöglicht werden. Die Anlage selbst ist super gemütlich, schön gestaltet und entspricht den Fotos. Netter kleiner Pool, gemütliche Sitzecken im Schatten und einige Liegen - mehr braucht man nicht! Nur einmal über die Straße gelaufen ist man in einer Minute am Strand, der auch zum Baden einlädt, einfach perfekt! Zu Fuß sind einige Cafés und Restaurants gut erreichbar. Das Hostel selbst bietet kein Frühstück an, direkt nebenan ist aber ein süß Café. Das Zimmer war geräumig, schön gestaltet, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen :)

Keine Kritik, da uns dies vorher bewusst war, dennoch sei angemerkt, dass es aufgrund der fehlenden Klimaanlage im Zimmer (nur Ventilator) nachts durchaus sehr heiß sein kann. Der Zug fährt zudem direkt vorbei, man sollte also nicht zu lärmempfindlich sein. Wir kamen mit beidem gut zurecht - darf gerne jeder für sich selbst einschätzen.

It can get noisy from trains but since train passes very close to the beach here, its a normal price to pay to be steps away from the ocean. My bf is 183 cm and he was just a few cm too tall for the bed but other than that it was a very comfy bed

We stayed at Lime&Co on the first days in Sri Lanka and it was just perfect. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are quite nice and everything was properly clean. There’s no A/C, but the fan gets the job done. Outdoor area is lovely too. It’s also very well located in Midigama, close to the surf spots. What you get for what you pay is just ideal, would definitely recommend staying here! Besides that, everyone was very welcoming and Kumara is the kindest host I ever met! I realised I had just lost my passport and he instantly took me to the surf rental, the food corner and even went with me to the police station; whilst doing that, he managed to find the tuktuk driver, who then found the passport and brought it to me. I will never forget how helpful Kumara was!

Our favourite place to stay in Sri Lanka, we came back here to stay again and felt like we were welcomed back by family. The rooms and bathrooms are so nice, the staff are wonderful, it’s clean and tidy everywhere and such a gorgeous location with a pool and close to the beach.

Die Zuglinie führt direkt an der Unterkunft vorbei. Wir konnten trotzdem gut schlafen und es wurden auch Ohropax zur Verfügung gestellt, aber bei sehr leichtem Schöaf könnte es stören.

My partner and I stayed for two nights and it was just perfect. Fresh, clean, airy room, directly across the road from beautiful swimming beach. Super friendly staff. Clean pool and kitchen. Would highly recommend.

Would 100% stay again! Just a heads up, it can get a bit hot without air con and it’s right by the train line, so there is some noise. But completely worth it for amenities and location.

A lovely place in Midigama perfect location by the surf spots. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was so lovely. Also having the pool was so nice!

It was a bit noisy by the road but they gave us ear plugs to sleep and it was perfect!

Das Personal war super freundlich und lustig! Auf Anfrage wurde unser Zimmer gereinigt und die Tücher gewechselt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und man hatte eigentlich alles was man braucht. Der Pool war sehr sauber und einladend, auch wenn wir das Meer bevorzugen :). Direkt nebenan hat es ein tolles Restaurant mit leckerem Kaffee!

Jeden Freitag gibt es eine Party im Dschungel, die leider bis am Morgen um 6Uhr dauert und extrem laut ist, aber da kann ja das Hostel auch nicht dafür… :)

Very close to the train track and it’s very loud. Stops overnight but starts again at like 7am.

Kumara is the friendliest host we've met during our time in SL! Always happy to help and a big smile on his face! Nice kitchen with fridges and beautiful rooms. Right in Midigama, so you can walk to Lazy Left and Right or Rams for Surfing. Chamara right next to this hostel for renting boards (but check them before). Very good shower and free shower gels / shampoos. Room Service was also nice as they clean it whenever you want + fresh towels.

Unfortunately the nights were a bit difficult as there are some open parts in the walls so it gets bright quickly and you can hear all your neighbors or people in the kitchen etc. And we had some ants near and in the bed, but I guess that happens in this region quite a lot.

Een hele fijne plek met mooie kamers! Het personeel was super vriendelijk, en ik vond het fijn dat er een zwembad was met een gezellige gezamenlijke ruimte ernaart. Vanuit hier makkelijk te navigeren naar de omliggende dorpen zoals Mirissa, Weligama en Ahangama, en je liep vanuit de accomodatie zo het strand van Midigama op met restaurantjes aan je linker en rechter zijde. Voelde centraal.

Het enige wat ik minder vond aan de accomodatie was dat het erg gehorig was en (mijn kamer) dicht langs de weg lag waardoor ik zonder oordoppen veel last van het verkeer heb gehad.

Leider wirklich sehr undankbar gelegen. Nicht falsch verstehen zum Strand ideal surfen bei lazy left und lazy right optimal Aber genau zwischen Hauptverkehrstrasse und Zugstrecke unfassbar laut. Erster Zug bereits morgens um 6:00 Menschen mit gutem Schlaf können es Villt aushalten aber selbst mit Oropax ist es sehr sehr laut. Trotzdem dafür kann der Ort nichts nur als Hinweis für zukünftige Buchungen.

I reall like that the place looked exactly like it did in the prictures. It was very clean, and the host was extremly kind and helpful. We also felt safe during our stay.

It’s been the best stay in Sri Lanka for us! The owners are so lovely, always checking in if you need something, security is 24/7 around, directly at the beach and the beach there is not packed at all. They always clean your room if you like to. The bed is very comfy. Just can say good things about it and would definitely come back here!

If you have a light sleep it might be a problem for you that the railway is very close behind the building which is quite loud when the train is coming

Locatie is top, veel plekken om te chillen als het bv regent. Ruime kamer met goede douche.

Veel te gehorig, nacht niet geslapen door geluid van de drukke weg. Tweede nacht oordopjes, dat ging beter. Host zou tuktuk regelen naar mirissa in de ochtend, echter kwam deze niet. Kan wat betere afstemming.

נמצא על הכביש הראשי ובין פסי הרכבת ,תתכוננו ללילות סוערים ורועשים בנוסף החדרים לא אטומים ונכנס הרבה אור בלילה מהפנסים של הבניין בנוסף לרעש הכבד קשה לישון . המיטה ממש ממש קטנה וקצרה , בגדול חוויה בינונית מאוד

Endroit très jolie. La plage est juste en face. Très bien pour 1 nuits ou 2.

Muy buenas instalaciones, cerca de spots de surf muy buenos, cafetería top next door y renting de surfboard al lado. El personal muy simpático y atentos. Nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitábamos. Volvería a repetir sin duda. Algo que me gustó mucho es que tienen un pequeño botiquín para cortes si surfeas entre otras cosas

Extremly loud noise from the fast and dangorous to cross road that seperstez the place from the beach. There is also a loud train. If you are making a reservation do make sure that you will not be placed in a room close to the road as it will make night unberable

Only one thing not perfect, there is no door between the room and toilet, so it's little uncomfortable.

חדרים נוחים במיקום שקט, דקה הליכה מהחוף ויש מסעדה טובה צמודה. פינות ישיבה ומאווררים בכל מקום. צוות נחמד שעוזר בהכל.

יש לפעמים קצת רעש מהרכבת אבל זה לא הפריע לנו בתוך החדר.

Die Nächte waren auf Grund der hellhörigen Räumlichkeiten eher Laut auf Grund des Verkehrs rund um das Gebäude.

Amazing! The pool is lovely, the outdoor area/ kitchen is super cute. Love the deco. The workers are super friendly and sweet, always asking if we are okay etc. Tuk tuks always ready to take us outside and ZIPPI next door (food) is so good so makes it great for a quick bite and coffee. Good enough location, but recommend getting scooter if you did want to explore more :)

Not much.. maybe just that the bathroom is quite dark so would be better brighter when doing my make up haha! Manageable!

Nur ein Vorhang hat das Badezimmer vom Rest abgetrennt. Generell waren auch die „Fenster“ nur Mosquitonetze, sprich man hört auch aus den anderen Zimmern alles.

las habitaciones son cómodas, la ducha tiene potencia y agua caliente, además ofrecen gel, champú y acondicionador para el cabello. las zonas comunes son cómodas y confortables. el personal muy atento y agradable.

el WiFi un poco lento. no hay desayuno aunque por la zona hay varias opciones.

Super logement! La chambre est sympa et la salle de bain spacieuse. Le personnel était super gentil et serviable et nous a fait une visite rapide de l’hostel et nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires. Le logement se trouve juste en face d’une super plage. Le ventilateur fonctionnait bien et le matelas était relativement confortable.
