This is a friendly and solid base camp for enjoying Luxor. The team running the Hostel are excellent. Tremendous value for money but do not expect five star decor.

Tesis merkezi bir yerde bulunuyor. Fiyat/Performans bakımından aşırı iyi. Amacınız çok ucuz konaklamaksa kesinlikle öneriyorum. Ancak beklentileriniz de yüksek olmamalı. Çalışanlar harika insanlar. Yardım etmekten hiç geri çekinmiyor hatta bundan mutluluk duyuyorlar. Özellikle Ali kardeşim mükemmel bir insan. Kendisi gece resepsiyonda duruyordu konakladığım vakitte. Her türlü yardımına koştu, hatta sabah erkenden otobüsüm olduğunu söylediğimde beni uyandırmaya bile geldi adam 😂.

Tek sorun duş suyunun az gelmesi. Ayrıca en soğuğa alsanız bile hafif ılık geliyor maalesef. Zannedersem yaz mevsiminden kaynaklı ne kadar soğuğa alsanız da durum bu şekilde. Çünkü gittiğim başka yerlerde de aynı durumla karşılaştım. Onun dışında her şey güzeldi.

Este Hostel encontra-se no centro de Luxor, com todas as atrações a curta distância. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos e o pequeno almoço, uma delícia. O terraço na cobertura convida a desfrutar das noites quentes de um Verao egípcio.

The location couldn't have been better. It's perfectly situated—it's hard to imagine a more ideal place to stay. The host was amazing and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to assist me with every aspect of my onward travel across Egypt. Their kindness and hospitality made my trip much easier and more enjoyable.

I visited during the off-season, so as a solo traveler, I was hoping to meet other travelers to enjoy the rooftop view together. Since there were only a few guests, that wasn't really possible. I believe the atmosphere would be much livelier during the peak tourist season. The entrance could also be improved to create a more welcoming and vibrant first impression.

到店后不是马上安排我们入住，而是推销各种包车服务，拖了很长时间直到我们告诉累了想早点休息才作罢。酒店所处的小巷遍地垃圾，房间也不干净。

The place is very heartwarming and Mr Ashraf is such a genuine person he offered his help in many things.

Das Zimmer war seeeehr notdürftig eingerichtet bzw. ausgestattet. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass mit einfachen Mitteln der Komfort erheblich hätte erhöht werden können.

Ashraf is a really good brother. He ride his motorcycle send me to the bus station without any charge and so thoughtful he drive very slowly. If anyone need some help at bob marley,feel free asks Ashraf.

The breakfast barista who was very kind friendly and made a great coffee.

To begin, the manager who was spoken of very highly in the reviews, was actually a very judgemental jerk who tries to coerce people to spend money at his place by criticizing their choices elsewhere and making false claims about local prices and saying things like ‘its only 5$’ where actually in egypt this is a high amount for food and whatnot compared to locals. He just sat around smoking hookah all the time. In addition the power was lost 2 times during my stay, the internet connection was TERRIBLE! The room itself was old, outdated and seemed to be a childs bedroom that wasnt even clean. I found hair and dust everywhere, the sheets and curtains had holes in them and despite actually having an aircon in the room, they refused to turn it on because ‘its winter’ despite the room being VERY HOT 🥵. The location too was not good as taxis usually refused to come there or charge double price, and one afternoon they murdered a cow in the street and there was a river of blood in the only pathway. It was a nightmarish stay and i hope nobody falls for the confusingly high reviews which ive been told could have been paid for as its common oractice in egypt to do this.

The owner even upgraded my room for free. I felt very safe here. Everyone takes care of their guests like a patriarch.

Free bus station pick up is generous and incredibly helpful in a sea of taxis. One of whom tried to charge me $10 for a three-minute ride. The rooms are very simple but great for $5 and a quick hostel stay. And the people are fantastic. Thank you guys for running a great, quiet, friendly little hostel in an otherwise busy and chaotic city. A little oasis of chill energy.

Tight dorm set up with no storage space would be tricky if crowded. But was alone in a 4 bed 😅

The hotel has a great location and a really good price/ quality relation. The staff are very nice and helpfull. Rooms are simple but clean and presentable.

Au coeur de la vie locale, dans une ruelle près du centre; accueil fraternel de Zighi à la gare routière de GO bus, puis trajet olé olé en moto, à trois, jusqu'à l'hostel, 5 min. ,inoubliable! Equipe formidable, anglophone, tous s'avèrent intéressants, communicatifs, chaleureux ( Ali, Zighi, Tarik, Hassan... ) , un vrai plaisir de discuter avec eux! Chambre propre, petit balcon, très bon petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse, au dernier étage, avec une vue magnifique sur toute la ville. Excursions avec l'excellente agence "D - done," tarifs très abordables. Sublime sahlab, shai et café turc au café El Mirghani, sur la place, avant de vous engager dans la ruelle du hostel. Authentique! On a même été invité par le personnel à partager l'iftar un soir. Formidable! Sinon, en ville, stands de jus de canne, une merveille; resto Sofra, resto Mohamed à Madinat Habou, stand de nourriture près de l'hostel, à 20 m du café El Mirghani, vers le sud.

Les communs méritent un bon coup de balai... Pas d'horaire fixe pour le petit déj... Quand on convient d'une heure, Ali ne se présente pas, donc pas de petit déj... Méfiez-vous des invitations au café, à l'étage... La facture risque de s'avérer salée... J'ai quand-même, sans grand problème, réduit la note de 1550 EGP à 260 EGP... Préférer les agences établies afin de réserver les excursions..; Paiement en dollars à l'arrivée; or, 3 jours plus tard, le patron me dit que mes dollars, émis en 1996, ne sont pas valables en Egypte ( alors qu'ils le sont aux USA et ailleurs...). J'ai souris, sans plus; puis on n'a plus évoque ce sujet...

The staff were amazing. Not just polite, but genuinely friendly and helpful. You can feel they actually care about making your stay comfortable, not just doing their job. The rooms were super clean, smelled fresh, and everything was well organized. You just feel comfortable being there. Overall, the vibe, the service, and the location make it a perfect place if you want to chill and enjoy Luxor in a classy way. Definitely would go back again.

My experience in Luxor was unfortunately very difficult due to multiple encounters with scams and people taking advantage of me. On my first day alone, I ended up spending 10,000 Egyptian pounds after two locals invited me for Iftar and then made me pay for everything. This left me feeling uneasy and hesitant to go out or even use taxis for the rest of my stay. However, the one truly positive part of my trip was this hostel and its staff. Ali, in particular, was incredibly kind and supportive — he went out of his way to help me feel safe and comfortable. Thanks to his advice, I rented a bike instead of relying on taxis, which helped me regain some confidence and explore more independently. I even decided to extend my stay because of that. While I didn’t enjoy Luxor overall, I’m grateful that I stayed here. The people at this hostel are honest, trustworthy, and made a big difference during an otherwise challenging trip. Thank you for your hospitality, the free breakfast and tea.

Fiyat performans olarak çok iyi, geleneksel farklı bir konsept. Çalışanlar özellikle Ali ve işletme sahipleri çok yardımcı , güleryüzlü , hoşsohbet insanlar. Heran sıcak karşılamaları ve güler yüzleri her şey daha güzel yaptı. Konum olarak heryere yakın. Lüx beklemeyin , farklı otantik bir deneyim….

宿で、ルクソールを回るツアーの予約ができました。 シャワーはお湯が出ました。（安定して出るシャワールームとそうでない所がありました。） シャワー＆トイレの部屋が何個もあるので、混み合うことはなさそうでした。（少なくとも私が泊まったときは使いたいときにすぐ使えました。） トイレットペーパーはチェックイン時にもらえます。 屋上から朝の気球がよく見えました。 スタッフの方は英語が話せない私にもとても親切にしてくださりました。 家族経営のようで、子どもやおばあちゃんもいてほっこりする感じでした。 駅からもそう遠くないので歩いて行けます。

ドミトリーでは、コンセントが遠いベッドにあたると不便だと思います。延長コードを持って行っても、他の人の邪魔になる導線になりかねないので、毎回コンセント近くまで行く必要があるありそうです。（私は運良くコンセントが近いベッドを選べました。） 屋上は残念ながらWi-Fiが届きませんでした。あと屋上にあるソファやマットなどはあまり清潔感はなかったです。

Very friendly place to stay in a quiet street. Great and helpful staff members. Room prices are very reasonably. Breakfast on the roof is quite nice in the morning sun.

There is a lot of noice during the night. A large family also lives in the same building. So screaming children and loud voices is your part. If you're a light sleeper, bring quality ear plugs with you. You can rent bicycles in a small shop opposite te street of the hostel.

Un très bon endroit et un personnel très accueillant. Un grand merci tout spécialement à Ali pour son aide et sa gentillesse. L'auberge est parfaitement située et le rapport qualité-prix excellent.

Accueil très sympathique avec Assan, Ali . Ashraf nous a permis de booké un très bon guide qui parlait français pour la journée avec chauffeur dans un petit groupe. Accueil familial, simple et chaleureux.

This was my third visit in the last 4 years. I come back because they make you feel so welcome. The rooftop chill area is a great place to relax and meet fellow adventure travelers on the backpacker trail. They can arrange any kind of tour but don't push them and don't overcharge. At the end of a small alley, it is very quiet for sleeping but just 100 yards to shops, great street food, and nice restaurants, just 5 minutes to a good supermarket, a short walk to Luxor temple and the Nile. They have a small book exchange, but you might have to ask. Fantastic value for money if you have come to Egypt to meet people and experience more than just temples.

Rooms are a little small, most share a bathroom; two bedrooms sharing each bathroom, all very clean.

Best stay in Egypt so far! Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, so sad we could only stay one night. Room was nice and shared bathroom too. Nice rooftop to eat and chat with other guests. Nice position, quiet but close to everything! Also, great shawarma place nearby. They also organize tours. Hope to stay here again!

It's a very interesting hotel, on a quiet street, so it's a bit quieter. Everyone was very nice and helpful. If you need anything, they'd help you. Ali, who, among other things, prepares breakfast, is really great. A late arrival at the hotel was no problem. There's a terrace at the top where you can enjoy breakfast. Everything is decorated in a Rastafarian style, especially the rooftop. A beautiful view of Luxor and the West Bank of the Nile.

I like breakfast, the room is clean, olso the bathroom.

Nous avons passé un super séjour à l’hôtel, avec un rapport qualité-prix excellent et une ambiance plus que familiale, comme à la maison. Tout le monde a été adorable et aux petits soins avec nous ! Mention spéciale à notre ami Ashraf : merci pour tout et pour le temps que tu nous as consacré. Tes conseils étaient précieux et tout était impeccable. Nous repartons avec un petit pincement au cœur, nostalgiques de partir, mais heureux d’avoir fait une si belle rencontre. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, with excellent value for money and a truly family-like atmosphere, just like being at home. Everyone was so kind and attentive to us! A special mention to our friend Ashraf: thank you for everything and for the time you dedicated to us. Your advice was invaluable and everything was perfect. We leave with a touch of nostalgia, sad to go, but grateful for such a beautiful encounter.

Muhammad and the staff was excellent

ホテルスタッフがフレンドリー。 ホテルで頼んだ400ポンドのグループツアーでトラブルがあったが返金対応してくれた。具体的にはホテルに迎えが来て徒歩でボート乗り場まで移動。その後迎えの方はボートには乗らずに私が1人でボートに乗り込む。ボートを降りた際にボートの運転手に100ポンド請求される。ツアー料金に入ってるものと思っていたし明らかに高すぎると思ったが確認するすべがないので渋々支払う。その後ガイドと合流しツアー開始。ツアーが終わった後にこのことをスタッフに話したところ返金してくれるとのことで翌日返金してくれました。こういうケースで返金されることはめったにないので非常に誠実だと思いました。 ただし、今後改善してほしい点としては迎えの方は一緒にボートに乗り込むか事前にボートの代金は含まれていることを説明すべきだと思いました。 ボートの運転手は悪いやつなのでもう彼を使わないほうがいいと思います。 年代物ではあるがエアコン付きの個室なのに安い。

部屋の床がなぜか濡れていたので確認したところ室外機の排水が室内に流れ込んできていた。 3階の共用トイレのドアが閉まりきらず鍵がかけられない。

We were met with a sign at the bus station and taken to the hotel, and helped to carry the bag up to the room.

The smiling faces and helpful attitude of the facility staff are enough to make up for all the deficiencies felt. They are also very helpful about tours. I recommend you contact them for the Valley of the Kings and temples tour and the sunset sailing tours on the Nile River. Those who will be traveling from Turkey should bring a Turkish flag with them and give it as a gift.

There are definitely negatives, but the goodwill of the facility staff and owner compensates for everything.

Amazing place. Incredibly helpful with booking, Tarik is a legend. Rooftop patio is gorgeous, location is convenient for east bank exploration and bus. Absolutely loved our stay and would return!

The hostel is central and the staff is very helpful and nice people. They can help you with organising everything you will need, tours and tickets, without stealing from you.

The hostel is not in good condition anymore, it is falling apart, many things not working, there were many insects in our toilet, and water leaking and filling the room when we showered.

This hotel will be one of a few things from my long trip to Egypt that I will always remember fondly. I would even say that only thanks to this hotel and its staff, my experience in Luxor was positive. Yes, I did not really enjoy Luxor as a city despite all its historical sites, but this hotel is truly a gem there! If you want to stay in a genuinely unique place with great vibes, interact with fellow travellers from all over the globe and get to know local people, this hotel should be your destination in Luxor! I would especially like to thank Ali for all his help, support and advise during my stay in Luxor! He is one of the kindest and greatest persons whom I met in Egypt. He will always do his best to help you with whatever you might need. All other staff members are also caring and helpful, but Ali is the star here! My room was pretty basic, but it had everything I needed, and I liked it so much! The hotel's location is also great in the sense that a local bazaar where you can find many different things is right around the corner. The hotel also has several common spaces, and I enjoyed being there almost every evening and talking to Ali, other staff members and guests from, what it seemed, the whole world. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable accommodation in Luxor!

This place was elite, staff were so helpful and welcoming. We felt right at home. They helped organise tours, cars and even dinner!

The facilities were very basic and quite limited, so don't expect much comfort. But if you're just looking for a short stay like in a hostel, it's fine. The tours offered through the hotel were affordable, which was a big plus. The owner may seem a bit blunt at first, but he actually takes good care of the guests — I appreciated that

The place has a great location close to the river Nile and downtown. The hostel is pretty clean ( as per Egyptian standards). The room is big enough and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is ok. Breakfast is included and practically any time you can ask for. They organize tours to the historical sites and the prices are better than the official ones. The owner is a real Egyptian "businessman" (you know what I mean). The staff are kind and helpful (Ahmed, Ali and the ladies). Hassan the receptionist is a good hearted nice fellow you can count on him, many thanks. Overall the place is recommended if you're a backpacker I believe it's good enough even for a longer stay.

Nothing is perfect. If you want you can find faults here easily but you are better off if you just enjoy your stay in Egypt.

We came as a group of 13 friends and had a lot of fun. Ali helped us a lot in every way, we thank him very much. The facility is in a very central location and is reasonably priced. We recommend it to everyone.
