La ubicación esta bien pero el hostal no esta bien insonorizado. Había mucho ruido y no estaban limpios los baños. La mitad de los baños estaban rotos y vimos una rata. La verdad que no repetiría.

La localisation centrale. L'auberge est littéralement au dessus de la terrasse de plusieurs clubs. Ils sont ouverts toute la nuit et toutes les nuits. Impossible de dormir avant 4h même avec des bouchons. Hostel usine où on est empilés dans des dortoirs à une 20aine. Douches de camping, et la plupart sont fermées. L'espace commun est tout sauf accueillant au sous sol. Pas d'espace pour fumer/vapoter, il faut sortir dans la rue. Pas vraiment de personnel à part pour check in et check out.

Locatie

Het inchecken enkel mogelijk vanaf 14u en geluidsoverlast maar daar was ik enigzins op voorbereid met de locatie natuurlijk. Voor een nachtje uit is het een goede hostel maar niet als city trip. Ook de age limit zou er mogen zijn in een mixed dorm.

The location is great; everything is within walking distance. Free coffee was okay; breakfast is very basic (cereal, toast (although a bit stale), juice, cold meats and cheese).

Place really needs a deep clean. The floors are incredibly dirty and hostel rooms smell musty and unclean. There is only one toilet per floor, which is a problem on weekends when the hostel is full, and the basin area is shared between men and women which can get awkward. The common area is grubby and there was a lot of old food lying around. Obviously because the hostel is directly on the market, pubs and restaurants get extremely loud til all hours of the morning. It's a tolerable stay for a single night, but I'd rather spend more money on cleaner and safer feeling facilities next time.

On my first (Monday) night, I arrived in my 12-bed room, with the window wide open to the Grote Markt, where a beer festival was being advertised, expecting havoc; but I was alone, it was pretty quiet outside, and I went to sleep in peace. On the second night, a flock of Dutch youth disturbed the peace until 3 am, but I had brought my earplugs. My roommates were nice and quiet. In all, I slept well, except on the last night when it was too hot.

The bathrooms are quite primitive and not very comfortable, but well kept. The showers are adequate, but the smell there was off. Breakfast is basic, but it's fine.

-brudno i syf w pokojach, -na przyjeździe pobrali ode mnie po raz drugi podatek miejski (3,60 EUR/noc), mimo że był on pobrany we wcześniejszej płatności już pobranej przez booking.com, i mimo tego że im tłumaczyłem że już został zapłacony (po powrocie booking.com zwrócił mi ta kwotę z nawiązką), -w innych opiniach (innych gości) tego obiektu wyczytałem że byli gryzieni przez pluskwy (na dowód załączali zdjęcia pluskiew na łóżkach)... gdybym wiedział o tym wcześniej w życiu bym tam nie rezerwował, ale dowiedziałem się o tym już po moim pobycie, -nie ma to wpływu na moja ocenę, ponieważ wiedziałem o tym: hałas z zewnątrz całą noc, prawie 0h snu bo okna wychodzą na rynek, bary, kawiarnie, imprezy,

The manager, Laurie was very lovely, and offered great assistance. She assisted with sightseeing places and maps. The breakfast also offered milk alternatives. I also appreciated the lift, and the other housemates were lovely.

立地が良くとにかく安い。泊まっている人が優しい。シャワーと洗面台が沢山あり混まなそう。お湯もちゃんと出る。

Je crois qu'ils font un très bon travail étant donné le prix. Le petit déjeuner est bien, tout le monde est sympa. C'est le concept du hostel.

Les personnes sensibles au bruit doivent s'abstenir, l'établissement étant situé directement sur le site de trois discothèques. Mais si vous êtes habitué à dormir avec la télévision allumée, cela passe sans problème. Malheureusement, il y a une raison pour laquelle les hôtels traditionnels sont plus chers. Ils offrent un service d'une manière générale plus élevé en qualité. Mais si vous n'avez pas les moyens ou simplement voulez économiser de l'argent, cet établissement fait le job. Ames sensibles s'abstenir car à six dans une chambre vous n'avez pas d'intimité et les odeurs peuvent être déplaisantes.

Hyper bruyant la nuit. L'hostel n'y peut rien mais il y avait de la musique dans la rue jusque 6h du matin et c'est a noté. Nous étions du côté rue cela a bien pénaliser notre sommeil.

A hostel is a hostel, the important thing is that it’s cheap and centrally located. There are a lot of people in each room, but it’s backpacker-friendly and fine for a short stay

The downside is that I got bitten by bedbugs or some other bugs during the night. They could also replace the light bulb in the showers, because the flickering is enough to give you a seizure

美味しい朝ごはんを出してくれました。コーヒーも美味しかったです。 キッチンのスタッフは親切でした。 朝食は8:00からではなく8:20からでした。 窓からプライドウィークの様子が見られました。

プライドウィーク中は深夜までうるさいので、参加しない人にはつらいかもしれません。 シャワールームはビーチサンダルが必須だと思いました…。 男女で部屋は分かれてますが洗面台は共有でした。

The entrance sometimes had people blocking the doorway as it's used as a place to stand and chat.

The place is dirty and smells, the kitchen is in the basement with no proper ventilation or natural light. Good luck with the food. The doors are broken, the lockers are broken. There are not enough toilets if you manage to locate them, one is next to the reception and the door doesn’t close so if someone is on number two, good luck with breathing if you are in the reception area.The bathrooms smell and are so dirty. Everything is dirty. I could write a book, let’s just say I would never recommend anyone to stay at this hostel.

La ubicación.

El hotel es sucio. Las instalaciones es un caos. La habitación estaba sucia los baños asquerosos. Las sábanas mugrientas. Parece un albergue para indigentes.Es barato pero por 15 euros más hay mejores estabelecimento en Amberes.

Good location wise

Club downstairs and it is very loud outside at night, no curtains on the beds. Someone also urinated on the floor of dorm.

Perfect location right in the main square, and a very cool vibe to the hostel.

Se encuentra en pleno centro de Amberes, todo caminable desde ahí. El personal es bastante simpático y atento, y las instalaciones cumple lo necesario, además de incluir un buen desayuno.

El hostal se encuentra al lado de una discoteque, por lo que si es fin de semana escucharas ruidos. Por nuestra parte no fue problema ya que veníamos cansados desde Tomorrowland y ni lo sentimos.

The worst place I have ever stayed! First and foremost, I broke out in a rash all over my body from bedbug bites, and when I informed the staff, they did nothing. Furthermore, the place is incredibly dirty—dirty rooms, toilets, and showers, and there is an awful smell in both the shower area and the kitchen in the basement. Finally, I reported that the room door was broken and wouldn't close, leaving it wide open for anyone to walk in and it remained that way until the moment I left. The place is simply a health hazard and dangerous. STAY AWAY.

I’ve never stayed in a place that smelled so rank. If I get black mould poisoning in the next 10 years I’ll know why. I don’t think that place has been cleaned. Ever. The man that checked me in was also my bunk mate. Still unsure if he worked there or if he didn’t. Pretty sure the man that was on the couch outside of my room was squatting there in the next room that was being renovated.

Antwerp City Hostel is less of a hospitality establishment and more of an unsupervised social experiment in operational negligence. ​Once the clock strikes 11 PM, this 80-capacity facility is left entirely unattended. During my stay, an aggressive guest spent the night terrorizing an entire 12-bed dormitory. When we attempted to reach management for assistance, our phone calls went completely unanswered. Management’s official, retrospective contingency plan for such emergencies is, astonishingly, for the paying guests to act as their own constabulary and "always call the police." My subsequent emails regarding this severe security breach were met with absolute silence. ​To add to the chaos, basic safety protocols are treated as mere suggestions. In Dormitory Nr 2, a bicycle was permitted to be locked directly to the heating pipes, completely obstructing the pathway to my bed and creating a flagrant fire hazard. Despite their employee, Claude, witnessing this firsthand, zero corrective action was taken. ​When these lapses in security and safety were brought to light, the manager—who proudly boasts 11 years of running the establishment—responded with an extraordinary display of defensive arrogance, essentially dictating that guests have no right to question her standards. ​A masterclass in mismanagement and hubris. If you value your sleep, your safety, or basic human courtesy, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

A localização é excelente, mesmo no centro. Está bem localizado. O staff é prestável. Pude deixar as bagagens após o check-out num cacifo e continuar a ter acesso ao hostel. Cozinha bem equipada. O pequeno almoço, apesar de básico, cumpre os requisitos.

O check-in foi complicado. Quando cheguei a porta estava fechada, era suposto terem enviado um email ou mensagem pelo Booking com as indicações para check-in mas alguém se esqueceu de enviar. Tive de telefonar para resolver. O ambiente era estranho, parece que há gente a viver ali. O meu piso só tinha uma casa de banho com sanita. Os duches femininos tinham horário de funcionamento e estavam abertos para a escada de emergência, ou seja, as pessoas de outros pisos podiam aceder pelo exterior se quisessem. Não aconselho este hostel para quem queira deitar cedo e ter silêncio, a rua é muito barulhenta e movimentada. O pior de tudo foram mesmo os insetos. Fiquei toda picada. Vi uma data de insetos na cama.

Au centre d’Anvers ! Avec des avantages et des inconvénients en période de fêtes (bruit) !

Hôtel crasseux (sols particulièrement), un wc par étage avec des odeurs nauséabondes, vaisselles ébréchées et comme chacun doit nettoyer ce qu’il a utilisé l’hygiène est douteuse ! Un bon coup de karcher serait utile !

It’s in a beautiful location and the stuff was very nice.

There’s few toilets, the showers room was extremely dirty and with most showers out of service. The lift was also not working. Lastly, beds screeched and ventilation was poor.

The price is reasonable and one of the better in the area. The location especially is good for socialisation and tourism
