Reviewed Sep 18, 2026The location, the style/decor, and the facilities were all excellent. Very nice common area on the ground floor to hang out with other guests and to have breakfast. It's only a block or so from the main plaza and the place to catch transport to Pereira/Armenia/Salento. Not sure if it was luck, but I shared the hostel with several other travelers who made my stay even nicer!

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Las recepcionistas, tanto la chica argentina como la propia colombiana han sido super encantadoras, mostrando su total disposición, al igual que la cocinera del desayuno. Sin duda hacen del establecimiento un sitio super acogedor
Todo fue muy bueno, a excepción de un mal trago que tuvimos con un chico argentino de pelo largo encargado de recoger las habitaciones. A mí pesar nos olvidamos unos auriculares de marca Apple. El caso es que nos dimos cuenta a tiempo y gracias a la ubicación sabíamos que estaba en la habitación. Tras preguntarle si había los había visto, negó rotundamente que no había visto nada, con la mala fortuna que al hacer sonar el dispositivo, este sonó en su bolsillo, por lo que con cara de vergüenza tuvo que dárnoslo de vuelta. Es una pena que esta última experiencia haya opacado el buen servicio de sus compañeras y nos hayamos quedado con un mal sabor de boca.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026L’equip humà que hi ha darrera d’aquest hostel te un gran cor que fa que l’estada aquí vagi molt més enllà que simplement un lloc on dormir. Sempre a punt per ajudar en el que necessites. Les habitacions son estupendes i tenen tot el que han de tenir. Hi ha molt bon ambient i està decorat amb molt bon gust. Està molt ben situat, a prop del centre però molt tranquil.

Que las puertas de las habitaciones no se pudieran cerrar con llave (ya que cualquiera podría entrar) y el olor tan fuerte de los baños.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Hospitality was lovely, staff are friendly and accomodating. The view from the windows on the top floor is really nice - able to see the cloud forest surrounds.
The hostel facilities are really dated. The communal kitchen is not good - with really bad quality, broken pots to use. It's not good to be cooking with such poor quality items. You need to bring everything to cook, as there is not even salt and pepper. The bunk beds are so old and creaky with there not being any lamps or power points for most bunks. Water is turned off at the evening so can't even wash your hands or brush your teeth and then otherwise, it's cold showers. Also lots of room for improvement with the breakfast. It's all really basic and I don't feel this hostel is good value for money considering the facilities.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was super close to the park and the center of town. The room was very nice, very spacious, cute, and clean. The rest of the hostel was adorable as well, I really enjoyed the murals.
The only complaint I have about this hostel is the water. They turn off the water in the evenings, and I was unaware of this until I got there. I rented a private room with a private bathroom, expecting to shower when I needed and that was not possible. The night I arrived I didn't know that they turned off the water until I read the sheet at check-in so when I went to brush my teeth for the night I had to use my grape flavored water, the little I had left in my water bottle from the day. I was also looking forward to a shower in my room after my long day but that also was not possible.

Good vibes, clean space, very helpful and friendly staff, fair price, great location, and the breakfast has bread made from real sourdough starter (masa madre) and is delicious. They even sold me a loaf so I could take one with me. Def do the 12k round trip hike (on dirt roads) to the river and get in. Water is clear and temp is perfect (April). I’ll attach a pic here of the river spot.
I liked it all! If you’re a light sleeper, ear plugs help as with any other hostel.

Me estaban obligando a pagar el 50% en efectivo. No había agua para asearnos, en el anuncio se menciona que incluye desayuno pero te informan ya estando allá que es cortesía de la casa y no de una forma adecuada, la señora de la cocina es bastante grosera y la recepcionista fuebastante indiferente a las dificultades que manifestamos. 200mil pesos, una noche, sin agua y sin desayuno.

Reviewed Apr 3, 2026Le petit déjeuner est vraiment appreciable,, l'ensemble du personnel est adorable, à votre écoute et à votre disposition. La dame du petit déjeuner a gentillement acceptée de me le préparer avant l'heure car j'avais un bus. L'emplacement est plutôt pas mal, à 2 rues de la place principale. 2 cuisines à disposition, 2 salles de bain, des casiers sont à disposition hors des chambres. Le ménage des salles de bains est plutôt clean. Vous pouvez faire des excursions avec l'auberge, ils ont également un service de laverie.
La douche du dernier étage n'avait pas d'eau chaude, l'eau se coupait parfois la nuit donc pour les toilettes pas fou. Il est vrai que nous sommes à proximité du centre donc il peut y avoir du bruit le soir et tôt le matin. Il est dommage que l'ensemble des clients ne respectent pas le sommeil de tout le monde, quand certains sont debout à 7h du matin d'autres pourraient encore dormir... mais ça ce n'est malheureusement pas la responsabilité de l'auberge. Les prises accrochées au lit sont difficiles à utiliser.

Esto es el tipo de arquitectura local pero que no hubiese cristales en las ventanas. Con lo cual si abres para tener luz, la apertura es directa, siendo un poco incómodo. Que no hubiese fruta en el desayuno y el wifi de mi habitación el primer día no funcionó.
